- After Teasing the Crazy Mermaid, He Actually Deceived Me into Marriage
- Chapter 85 - Frantic Entanglement
Si Tang was utterly dazed by his clinginess, her mind a muddled haze. Her face was completely flushed, the blush spreading from the roots of her ears down to her neck, soft and delicate as jade and flowers. Her dark, damp hair cascaded down, revealing her delicate, luminous face.
Before her, those mesmerizing, deep blue eyes held her gaze unwaveringly. One hand cupped the side of her face, his gaze burning with tender affection like flowing water. Meanwhile, the mermaid tail wrapped around her calf was slowly inching upward, like a predator’s deliberate, seductive lure before the hunt.
The slippery sensation of the tail winding its way up her leg jolted Si Tang back to awareness.
Her attempt to voice a refusal was swiftly silenced against her lips, completely crushed between them.
A cascade of snow-white hair enveloped her entirely as the mermaid tail coiled around her frantically. An overwhelming, cool fragrance, both domineering and refreshing, swept over her. Fan Yi’s upturned eyes were tinged with a faint red, wild and bewitching.
Two slender fingers rested calmly beneath her glossy chin, leaving her no room for escape.
When Fan Yi finally pulled his lips away, his thumb gently brushed her cherry-red mouth. Staring into her dazed, shattered almond-shaped eyes, his deep voice, now hoarse, remained tender.
“Is it not allowed?”
The rising lilt of his tone concealed an unyielding, savage dominance.
Not truly expecting an answer, he chuckled softly and kissed her again.
He wanted her lost beyond redemption, to surrender completely. Si Tang was entirely under his control, tossed and turned, brought to the brink of life and death.
“Tang Tang, you are mine.”
The voice by her ear was deceptively gentle, making her ears tingle and her heart tremble.
It was dragging her deeper into the abyss, leaving no room for regret or retreat.
Physical intimacy and desire could not deceive her own heart.
It wasn’t until Si Tang’s hand was guided by his, her fingertips tracing the slightly raised scar on his tail, that her heart softened once more. The god’s powerful regenerative abilities had failed to heal the spot where a scale was missing, leaving behind a permanent, vividly crimson scar.
The story of their love he had once told her was half-truth, half-lie.
She recalled their final meeting three years ago, just before she left, and the mermaid scale necklace he had given her. He had planned it all along if the scale shattered, it would mean his disappearance, setting her free.
And this scar. the heavenly tribulation of love amidst divine punishment, a trial he had endured alone, nearly costing him his soul.
Sensing her sudden tenderness, Fan Yi held her even tighter. His husky voice whispered by her ear, laced with confident delight.
“You don’t dislike it.”
Si Tang’s ears flushed red again as she remembered his past misdeeds, his domineering and unreasonable behavior.
Pouting unwillingly, she stubbornly retorted, “What I feel for you is merely physical attraction. In the human world, love and desire can be separate.”
She spoke with such conviction that it thoroughly irritated Fan Yi.
His peach-blossom eyes, once brimming with joy, deepened to a darker shade of blue. His handsome brows furrowed as if genuinely searching his memory for whether such a concept existed in the human world.
“Physical attraction? But not emotional?”
Si Tang remained silent, tacitly agreeing.
This only infuriated the mermaid further. He let out a cold, low scoff and lifted her up abruptly.
“Fine, let’s see just how much ‘physical attraction’ there is.”
Si Tang: “…”
Fan Yi transformed his tail into legs and carried Si Tang out of the bathroom. His snow-white hair, smooth as silk, nestled against her neck. Outside the window, the tranquil moonlight spilled over the boundless sea. Tonight was impossibly gentle.
The dim light cast a shimmering, starlit glow in Si Tang’s eyes, like a pool of shattered radiance.
After a long while, Si Tang’s delicate face was flushed with a rosy glow and glistening with sweat.
He chuckled softly, then suddenly pulled her into a tight embrace, as if wanting to merge her into his very bones and blood, never to be separated again.
Fan Yi breathed in the fragrance of her hair, his voice tender yet filled with an obsessive love. “Tang Tang, no one can ever tear us apart. Unless my soul perishes.”
A promise from a deity carried immense weight, regardless of cost or consequence.
Nestled in his arms, Si Tang felt her thoughts grow hazy. This fish sometimes he truly made her heart ache.
Late into the night, Fan Yi carried her to the bath. But before Si Tang could rest for long, he seemed insatiable once more.
In the oversized bathtub in the bathroom, before she could even react, the look in his eyes shifted again. He lifted her effortlessly, his legs materializing as he strode swiftly out of the bathroom. In an instant, the two of them tumbled together onto the large bed in the bedroom.
The cruise ship was silent, and beyond the porthole lay the tranquil sea under the bright moonlight. Si Tang lay on the bed, her dark hair splayed out, her jade-like face flushed, and her almond-shaped eyes sparkling like stars in the night.
With the lights off, the hazy moonlight illuminated the room, and Si Tang could only see a pair of mesmerizing blue peach-blossom eyes.
They were filled with tender affection, yet also with an obsessive possessiveness and an unyielding determination.
The deity’s snow-white hair enveloped them both, shimmering under the moonlight like a misty veil, making everything feel like a dream.
Was it a shackle or salvation? It seemed she could no longer escape.
Perhaps from the very moment they first met, for all eternity, she was destined to be entangled with him.
It was only when dawn broke that Fan Yi finally released her. Fully satisfied, he lifted Si Tang from the porthole, carried her to the bath, washed her, and dressed her. He then lovingly kissed her forehead, the space between her brows, and the tip of her nose, as if he could never get enough. His blue eyes brimmed with intoxicating tenderness and infatuation.
Si Tang was far too exhausted to keep her eyes open, her face still flushed as she rested peacefully in the crook of his arm. Surrounded by his familiar, domineering cold fragrance, she drifted unknowingly into a deep slumber.
He carried her back to the bed in the bedroom, pulled the covers over them, and enveloped her completely in his embrace, gently kissing her hair.
From that moment on, they belonged to each other, and not even the cycles of reincarnation could keep them apart.
When the afternoon sun spilled over the endless sea, its warm light streamed through the porthole, illuminating Si Tang as she slept in Fan Yi’s embrace.
Her eyelashes fluttered as she slowly opened her eyes, waking in a daze. Her porcelain-like face still bore a lingering blush.
Her body ached with an indescribable soreness. Aside from the trembling ache in her waist, the pain was no longer as intense.
But, this was clearly because Fan Yi had healed her injuries the night before.
At the thought, Si Tang couldn’t help but blush, burying her face in the covers.
Shameless, wicked fish!
He truly had no sense of shame.
Just as she was silently cursing him in her mind, the arm around her waist tightened its grip. The person behind her propped himself up and leaned closer to look at her, his eyes tinged with a hint of grievance.
“Why are you scolding me, Tang Tang?”
Staring at that impossibly exquisite face silver hair, blue eyes, and snow-white lashes that cast a trace of cool elegance yet failed to conceal the roguish aura, Si Tang suddenly recalled more unspeakable scenes from the previous night. She slapped her hand against Fan Yi’s chest in accusation.
“Fan Yi, last night I kept telling you, I kept telling you to use protection.”
Fanyi snuggled closer to cling tightly to Siting, a faint smile curling at the corners of his lips.
