In college, Jiang Zong and Lin Shuxue were polar opposites. One was wild, unrestrained, and unruly; the other was disciplined, (well-behaved), and quiet. She had seen Jiang Zong toss love letters into the trash without a glance, and she had seen him engaging in intimate ambiguity with others in private rooms. No one ever thought they would have a connection.
Then, an accident occurred. Entrusted by someone else, she skipped class to find him, only to be pinned by him into a corner and interrogated about her intentions. Under his burning gaze, she whispered: “Because I like you.”
Jiang Zong let out a low, muffled laugh. His intoxicating peach-blossom eyes were filled with dark, amorous intent. His long fingers landed on her lips, rubbing them gently. His thin lips parted, his voice wanton and suggestive: “…How about this? Do you like this, too?”
Lin Shuxue’s heart skipped a beat, recalling the warning she had once received: Jiang Zong has countless women by his side, and I’ve never seen him stop for anyone. A well-behaved girl like you can’t tether him.
