- Which Fierce Alpha Disguises as a Beta to Abduct a Wife?
- Chapter 13 - Neither of These Two Brothers is Normal
Jiang Huaiyan: “???” So, this is what he had waiting for me.
“What’s with that expression? I’m the Omega here, and even I don’t care,” Zhou Yunqiu remarked.
“Young Master, this is inappropriate,” Jiang Huaiyan said, his face darkening.
“What’s inappropriate about it? Are you worried you won’t be able to control yourself?” Zhou Yunqiu smiled like a cat that had just swallowed a canary. “If you can’t control yourself, then don’t bother holding back. I’m not asking you to take responsibility for me anyway.”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…”
“Let’s go. Don’t waste time.”
Jiang Huaiyan didn’t budge. “I’ll find someone else to help you.”
“No. I don’t like other people touching me.”
“I am also ‘other people’.”
Zhou Yunqiu retorted loudly, “No, you aren’t! You are my bodyguard. You have to obey my every word. Now, I am commanding you to help me bathe.”
“There is no such” Jiang Huaiyan began, but before he could finish, Zhou Yunqiu suddenly started tearing at the bandages wrapped around his finger.
He hurriedly grabbed Zhou Yunqiu’s hand. “What are you doing!”
“Since you refuse to help me, I’ll just have to wash myself. They’re going to get wet anyway, so there’s no point in keeping the bandages on,” Zhou Yunqiu said, continuing to tug at them.
Jiang Huaiyan held his hand firmly. He took several deep breaths before gritting his teeth and saying, “I’ll help you.”
Zhou Yunqiu’s eyes lit up, and he impatiently dragged Jiang Huaiyan toward the bathroom.
Standing in the bathroom, Jiang Huaiyan didn’t know where to put his hands or feet.
“What are you standing there for? Help me undress.”
Jiang Huaiyan’s breathing tightened. He didn’t even dare look at Zhou Yunqiu.
“I have to say, what exactly is going through your head? I’m only asking you to help me wash up; I didn’t ask for any other… special services.”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…” Talk about shifting the blame.
“Hurry up, hurry up!” Zhou Yunqiu was already impatient to show off his charms.
Jiang Huaiyan took another deep breath and stepped toward Zhou Yunqiu. Like peeling a head of cabbage, he stripped the layers away one by one until only a tender, white “cabbage heart” remained.
“Do I look good?” Zhou Yunqiu struck a seductive pose and asked with a smile.
Jiang Huaiyan held his breath. Without answering, he picked the man up and placed him directly under the showerhead.
“You’re so crude. You’re such a big guy—can’t you show a little tenderness to a ‘fragrant flower’ like me?”
“Hey, hey, hey! You’re spraying the water right in my face!”
“Jiang Huaiyan! Look at me!”
“Are you just going to rinse me? Are you waiting for me to reach out and scrub myself?”
Jiang Huaiyan hit his limit. He pinned him down and gave him a vigorous scrubbing.
Zhou Yunqiu wailed in pain, gasping as he accused the other of abuse. What should have been a lingering, romantic scene was turned into a clash of sparks by the two of them.
Zhou Yunqiu couldn’t take it anymore and tried to bolt.
Jiang Huaiyan yanked him back. “We aren’t finished yet. Where are you running?”
“I already bathed earlier tonight! A quick rinse is enough!” Zhou Yunqiu cried, his eyes welling with mock tears.
Jiang Huaiyan sneered as he pulled him back. “Since you’ve already bathed, let’s make sure you’re extra clean.”
“Jiang Huaiyan, you’re using this for a personal vendetta!”
“What vendetta could there be?”
This time, it was Zhou Yunqiu’s turn to be speechless.
He gnashed his teeth in frustration, feeling as though Jiang Huaiyan was going to scrub off a whole layer of skin. His delicate, well-maintained skin!
Jiang Huaiyan!
Suddenly, Zhou Yunqiu pulled a dirty trick.
Jiang Huaiyan froze instantly.
“Oh my, what have I discovered?” Zhou Yunqiu laughed cunningly.
Jiang Huaiyan’s face turned bright red. He shoved Zhou Yunqiu away and fled the bathroom as if escaping for his life.
“Don’t run! In exchange for helping me bathe, I can help you out too!” Zhou Yunqiu shouted triumphantly.
It wasn’t until he heard the loud bang of the door closing that Zhou Yunqiu began humming a song, happily drawing water for a soak in the tub.
Outside the Room
Jiang Huaiyan found a well-ventilated spot and panted for air. The restless “evil fire” in his body was surging; it took him a long time to suppress it.
That little brat is getting more and more audacious!
He pulled out his phone. Regardless of the fact that it was the middle of the night, he dialed Zhou Yunqing’s number.
Zhou Yunqing’s cold voice came through the line: “What happened?”
Jiang Huaiyan reported the attack on the villa that night.
“Did you identify who they were?” Zhou Yunqing asked coldly.
“No, they were all wearing masks.” He wanted to say he had memorized their pheromones, but he didn’t dare say it outright. As a “Beta,” he shouldn’t be able to smell pheromones; saying so would blow his cover.
Furthermore, he believed those attackers wouldn’t dare mention his own Alpha status either—to do so would be to expose their own identities.
“I will investigate. From now on, do not leave Qiuqiu’s side for a single step.”
Jiang Huaiyan looked troubled. “That might be a bit difficult.”
“How so?”
Jiang Huaiyan feigned a hesitant tone. “Well, it’s just… a bit…”
“Speak plainly.”
“The Young Master seems to be… a bit too close to me.” Control your brother! If this continues, I won’t be able to hold out!
Zhou Yunqing suddenly laughed and asked in return, “Do you have someone you like?”
Jiang Huaiyan: “??? No.”
“My brother isn’t bad, is he? In the entire Omega circle, his looks and figure are top-tier.”
Hearing this, Jiang Huaiyan felt something was off.
“If you can satisfy all his needs, I will tenfold your salary.”
Jiang Huaiyan was shocked by Zhou Yunqing’s words.
This is not normal. This entire family is not normal.
“What do you think of my proposal?” Zhou Yunqing asked.
“It’s not quite right. I was thinking” He wanted to say he planned to resign after a while, but Zhou Yunqing cut him off.
“Then protect him well—in your own way.”
“Understood.”
After hanging up, Jiang Huaiyan rubbed his temples tiredly. He needed to finish his investigation and get out of here as soon as possible.
Neither of these brothers was normal. One flirted with total transparency, while the other condoned it just as clearly.
As he sighed, someone arrived to deliver a change of clothes. He took them and returned to the room.
Zhou Yunqiu had just finished his soak and emerged from the bathroom. He had only a bath towel wrapped around his waist. His originally fair and delicate skin was now flushed a soft pink.
Zhou Yunqiu complained aggrievedly, “Look at this. This is all your doing.”
Jiang Huaiyan coughed awkwardly. “I’m just a rough guy; I don’t know my own strength. Don’t ask me to do this kind of thing again.”
Zhou Yunqiu didn’t give him a chance to retreat. “If you don’t know your own strength, you need to practice more. You’ll get the hang of it after a few more tries.”
Jiang Huaiyan ignored his scheming. “The clothes have been delivered. Put them on.”
“Alright.” Right in front of Jiang Huaiyan, Zhou Yunqiu reached out and pulled the towel from his waist.
Jiang Huaiyan spun around instantly, his mind a chaotic storm of flashes. He was desperate to leave. “I’m going to sleep in the room next door. Get some rest once you’ve changed.”
“Goodnight then! Don’t go dreaming about me tonight,” Zhou Yunqiu teased with a flirtatious giggle.
Jiang Huaiyan’s legs felt like they were failing him as he walked out the door. Returning to the neighboring room, he immediately injected himself with a dose of high-effect suppressant.
If this continued, he would go crazy sooner or later.
Whether it was because he had been repressed for too long or because Zhou Yunqiu’s parting words had taken effect, Jiang Huaiyan dreamed.
He dreamed of Zhou Yunqiu.
In the dream, Zhou Yunqiu was even bolder than in reality—passionate, unrestrained, and striking every fatal weakness, driving Jiang Huaiyan to the brink of madness.
