Turns Out Seducing the Movie Queen Can Break the Plot - Chapter 35.2
The bathroom was quiet, save for the sound of running water.
Jiang Chi picked up the bath scoop beside her, first scooping water to wet Wen Wen’s body, then squeezing a pump of shower gel onto her hands. She hooked a small stool closer with her foot and sat down. Just as she was about to apply the gel, Wen Wen stopped her.
Wen Wen: “Use it on yourself. I’ll do it.”
Without waiting for Jiang Chi’s response, she pressed a pump of shower gel onto her palm and began slowly spreading it over her body.
Seeing the other girl staring unblinkingly at her, Wen Wen curved her lips. “Why are you looking at me? You have what I have, and I have what you have, we’re the same, aren’t we?”
Jiang Chi’s gaze followed the movement of her hands. At her words, she pouted slightly. “Jiejie, you were the one who asked me to bathe you.”
And now she wouldn’t let her touch her…
Wen Wen reached out, gripping the back of Jiang Chi’s neck and pulling her closer. Her voice, low and intoxicating, brushed against her ear. “What? Want to touch me?”
“No.” Jiang Chi swallowed hard. “I’m just stating the facts. You asked me to help you wash up, but now you clearly have the strength to do it yourself.”
She wanted to escape the hold, but the hand at her nape showed no intention of letting go. Wen Wen’s eyes darkened. She leaned in, straddling Jiang Chi’s thighs, wrapping her arms around her neck and resting her chin on her shoulder. Their bodies pressed together seamlessly as she murmured lazily, “Then help me with my back. I can’t reach it myself.”
Jiang Zhi’s hands hovered stiffly at her sides. The shower gel on her palms dripped to the floor with a soft plop. The sensation of warm, smooth skin pressed against her was so real, the heat radiating between them unrelenting. Paired with that single drop of gel, her mind seemed to dissolve into foam. She had no idea how to react, frozen in place, not daring to move.
“What’s wrong? Is there a problem?” Wen Wen nuzzled her cheek lazily. “Didn’t you say you’d help me with the shower gel? Why aren’t you moving?”
“Okay.” Jiang Chi’s voice came out hoarse, as if scorched.
“Mm, hurry up. The tub’s going to fill soon.”
Once her back was covered, Wen Wen stood and walked to the faucet. Pausing, she glanced back to find Jiang Chi still sitting motionless. She returned, pulling her up and pressing the bath scoop into her left hand and a towel into her right. “Rinse the foam off me. I want to rest.”
But Jiang Chi only stood there, staring at her, unmoving.
“What?” Wen Wen arched a brow, lips curving. “You were just insisting on helping me wash. Now you won’t move?”
“I will. Right now.”
Jiang Chi bent to scoop water, but once upright, she hesitated again.
“What? Don’t know how to wipe?”
“No.”
With that, Jiang Chi rinsed the foam from her body.
Once everything was done, Wen Wen patted Jiang Chi’s shoulder. “Stop spacing out. Take your time washing up. Jiejie’s tired, I’m going to rest first.”
Wen Wen left, and the cramped bathroom fell into silence. Jiang Chi exhaled shakily, her hands trembling and numb at her sides.
She felt as though she were trapped in a dream, everything was so vivid, yet unreal.
After finishing her wash, Jiang Chi stepped out of the bathroom. The overhead light in the tent had already been forcibly turned off by the production team, leaving only the bedside lamp casting a faint glow in the otherwise dark interior.
Wen Wen lay quietly on the bed, one hand tucked beneath her cheek, her dark lashes resting against her lower eyelids. Her peaceful sleeping face suggested she was deeply asleep.
Jiang Chi tiptoed onto the bed and had just settled on her side when the person beside her stirred. Without opening her eyes, Wen Wen shifted closer, nestling into Jiang Chi’s arms to find a comfortable position. She then lifted her head to plant a soft kiss at the corner of Jiang Chi’s mouth. “This is your reward for tonight. Goodnight,” she murmured.
With that, the figure in her arms grew still, lying obediently against her as her breathing gradually evened out.
After what felt like an eternity, Jiang Chi’s stiff body slowly relaxed, her frantic heartbeat calming. She gazed down at the face illuminated by the dim bedside lamp.
How could someone be so beautiful? Every inch of her skin seemed like it had been meticulously crafted by an artist. Jiang Chi’s eyes lingered on those tightly closed cherry-like lips. Biting her own lower lip, she whispered, “Jiejie?”
No response.
“Jiejie? Are you asleep?”
Still no answer.
Jiang Chi leaned closer until their lips were mere inches apart. “Jiejie, you’re really asleep, aren’t you?” she asked again.
“I still haven’t figured out the answer to the question you asked me. But I know, I really want to kiss you. So, so much. Not just that.”
“I want to leave my marks on you. And you should only be kissed by me. Only my marks should be on you.”
This feeling was strange something she’d never experienced before. She carefully recalled the times she’d been madly in love with Su Jing, yet even then, she’d never felt anything like this.
An indescribable, hazy emotion swirled in her heart, like moonlight reflected in a mirror or flowers seen through water, ethereal from afar but vanishing upon approach.
“What is this, jiejie?”
Clearly, she couldn’t answer this question herself, and Wen Wen couldn’t provide an answer either.
She inched closer until their noses lightly touched. “Jiejie,” she murmured, “if you keep pretending to sleep, I’ll take my candy without permission.”
At that moment, the figure in her arms shifted slightly, nuzzling closer. Her lips brushed against Jiang Chi’s cheek like a fleeting whisper.
Where they touched sent electric currents tingling straight to her heart, leaving it trembling.
Lowering her head, Jiang Chi finally pressed her lips against those she’d longed for. Like an eager puppy, her tongue gently licked at the seam of Wen Wen’s lips. Whether it was her imagination or not, those tightly closed cherry lips seemed to part slightly.
Startled, Jiang Chi pulled back immediately. Wen Wen’s eyes remained shut, her breathing steady, though her lips were indeed slightly parted now.
Some people naturally breathed through their mouths while sleeping, that was normal, wasn’t it? Still, she called out softly, “Jiejie?”
The sleeping figure showed no reaction.
Jiang Chi leaned in again, her tongue tentatively probing past slightly parted teeth. To her surprise, it was unexpectedly easy. Unconsciously, she tightened her embrace, her tongue meeting Wen Wen’s as they shared each other’s breath until it was nearly gone.
How much time passed? She didn’t know. Only when a faint whimper of discomfort escaped Wen Wen’s lips did Jiang Chi finally release her. She licked away the moisture at the corner of Wen Wen’s mouth before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. “Goodnight,” she whispered.
The next morning, golden sunlight bathed the entire tent in warmth. Jiang Chi slowly opened his eyes, and the scene before him instantly cleared his dazed pupils, replacing confusion with alarm.
