Turns Out Seducing the Movie Queen Can Break the Plot - Chapter 31.2
The next second, Jiang Chi turned to him and said, “Mr. Su, could you count down from three when taking the photo? Press the shutter when you say ‘one.'”
That’s it?
Su Jing: “Of course, no problem.”
Simple enough.
Jiang Chi excitedly pulled Wen Wen toward the spot she had already scouted. The golden hues of the setting sun bathed the lush green mountains in a fiery orange-red, stretching their shadows long across the ground.
[Even so, I still think Jiang Chi seems like she has a split personality.]
[Right? Such a two-timing scumbag! Stay away from my Wen, damn it!]
[Kick those two out, don’t ruin the mood!]
[But seriously, this is breathtaking. Every frame could be a wallpaper. The scenery is gorgeous~ but the people are even more stunning~]
Once they reached the spot, Jiang Chi announced, “We’ll take it here.”
Su Jing watched as they stood properly side by side and inwardly sighed in relief. Giving them an OK sign, he began the countdown: “Three, two, one.”
The moment the syllable “one” left his lips, the two well-behaved figures in the frame suddenly became anything but.
Jiang Chi swiftly wrapped an arm around Wen Wen’s waist and kissed her cheek.
The image froze.
So this was the condition Wen Wen had proposed.
Noticing Wen Wen’s challenging gaze, Su Jing’s hand trembled slightly with anger, yet he maintained a perfectly polite smile as the two approached.
Jiang Chi tugged Wen Wen along eagerly. “Let me see! How did it turn out?”
Su Jing glanced at their intertwined hands. Ever since she had pushed him away ever since Wen Wen appeared their hands had never parted.
Wen Wen noticed his gaze and deliberately slid her fingers to interlock with Jiang Chi’s, squeezing gently.
Jiang Chi let her hold on naturally, suppressing her giddiness as she snapped her fingers in front of Su Jing. “Hey, stop spacing out. Show me the photo.”
Su Jing’s eyelid twitched. He shot Wen Wen a look before lifting the camera’s display screen for Jiang Chi to see.
Wen Wen leaned in, deliberately resting her chin on Jiang Chi’s shoulder as she glanced at the photo. Raising her eyes, her gaze locked onto Su Jing: “Teacher Su takes really nice photos.”
Su Jing’s hand holding the camera had veins bulging on the back, yet her face remained as warm as spring breeze: “Thank you for the compliment, Teacher Wen. Since you’ve been so kind, I wonder if you’d mind taking a photo of me and Jiang Jiang?”
Hearing this, Jiang Chi stiffened. Surely Wen Wen wouldn’t agree to let her take a photo with Su Jing?
As expected, Wen Wen refused without hesitation: “Sorry, but I mind very much.”
[See! Wen Wen just doesn’t want Su Jing to take photos with Jiang Chi! The possessiveness is on full display here!]
[Actually is there a possibility Wen Wen doesn’t want Jiang Chi to take photos with Su Jing?]
[Following Second Brother’s lead!]
[What a bloody love triangle drama of she loves him, he loves her, and she loves her.]
Su Jing had anticipated the refusal. Her tender gaze fell into Jiang Chi’s eyes: “Jiang Jiang, how about we find a tourist to take a photo of just the two of us?”
“Better not.”
Jiang Chi refused without hesitation. Since Wen Wen wasn’t happy about her taking photos with Su Jing, she had to refuse. After all, she’d just barely managed to use one condition to coax Wen Wen into being slightly less upset. Her sister’s anger hadn’t completely dissipated yet—she certainly wasn’t foolish enough to pour oil on the fire.
“It’s getting late, and who knows how difficult the rest of the journey will be. Let’s hurry and finish the mission.”
With that, she pulled Wen Wen away.
Passing by a young woman in hanfu, Jiang Chi noticed the silk shawl draped over her arm and had a sudden idea. Approaching, she realized it was the same hanfu-wearing woman who had been their first photography client earlier.
Both looked surprised.
Jiang Chi greeted her, then got straight to the point: “Miss, could you give me this shawl?”
“I won’t take it for free. Give me your contact info, and I’ll have someone return a matching hanfu set to you later. Deal?”
She’d almost instinctively tried to act cute and say “pretty please,” but the memory of Wen Wen’s stern face asking if she was like this with everyone flashed through her mind, making her change her wording abruptly.
For some reason, she could feel the aura behind her shifting becoming noticeably sharper.
“Sure, you can have it. No need to return it, I have many matching ones at home.”
Sensing the change in Wen Wen’s aura, Jiang Chi paid extra attention to its fluctuations. After hearing the woman’s words, the aura behind her clearly softened considerably.
“Thank you.” Jiang Chi accepted the red shawl, adding, “You’re truly as kind as you are beautiful. Really, thank you so much!”
The aura turned sharp again.
The two women waved at them before walking away.
Turning around, Jiang Chi found herself inexplicably afraid to meet Wen Wen’s eyes: “Sister, what’s wrong?”
Wen Wen withdrew her hand and crossed her arms: “Is this the lame excuse you usually use to hit on people?”
Hit on people?
Excuse?
Jiang Chi looked puzzled at the shawl in her hand, no wonder the aura had kept shifting between soft and sharp. Tilting her head, she asked Wen Wen: “So… sister, you thought I was indirectly asking that woman for her contact info?”
After being provoked by Su Jing several times in a row, she had forgotten that Jiang Chi couldn’t possibly like girls right now. Losing her composure like this was completely out of character for her. Wen Wen cleared her throat and directly changed the subject: “Let’s go, it’s getting late.”
Jiang Chi stared at her earlobe indeed, the body’s instinctive reactions were the most honest.
She straightened the silk shawl in her hand, narrowed her eyes slightly, and quickened her pace to catch up with Wen Wen. Reaching out, she draped the shawl over Wen Wen’s head from above, pulling her into an embrace before whispering in her ear: “Aren’t you curious, sister, why I wanted this shawl? What I’m going to use it for?”
