- Chapter 7 - Rule #7 of Raising an Omega: I Am a Top Alpha
Ding Moyan’s expression turned cold as she glared at the boy. The green-haired youth wore a lecherous grin, like a disgusting cockroach crawling out of a sewer.
Is the President trying to ruin someone’s innocence?
Irritation and frustration churned in Ding Moyan’s chest, and her opinion of the President plummeted.
She had assumed the President would just send a few people to beat Jiang Pei up. Never had she imagined he would resort to such underhanded and despicable tactics.
Jiang Pei’s face was deathly pale, his hands clutching tightly at Ding Moyan’s sleeve, trembling uncontrollably.
He knew this boy was coming for him. Right now, Ding Moyan was his only hope, his only chance of survival.
Moyan will protect me, right? Jiang Pei panicked. Otherwise, as a mere Omega, he stood no chance of escaping this vicious predator.
He pressed himself closer to Ding Moyan, terrified she might abandon him.
Jiang Pei’s reactions only stoked the green-haired boy’s twisted desires. A smirk curled at the corners of his lips.
He flicked away his finished cigarette and leisurely pulled another from his pocket, lighting it with deliberate slowness.
Smoke curled upward as nicotine seeped into his lungs, stimulating his senses and heightening his excitement, fueling his depraved urges.
“Is this your Omega?” The green-haired boy tapped his cigarette, watching Jiang Pei’s fearful movements with amusement.
Before Ding Moyan or Jiang Pei could respond, he continued, “But it seems you haven’t marked him yet. Need some help?”
“I’m a Grade B Alpha, after all pretty strong, you know.”
“You don’t appear to be from our school,” Ding Moyan said coldly, shielding Jiang Pei with her arm. “Leave now, and show some respect.”
No matter how much she wanted revenge against the protagonists, she would never stoop to such vile methods. Ding Moyan had already decided to defy the President’s cruel scheme protecting Jiang Pei was her priority now.
Her defiance only earned a mocking laugh from the green-haired boy. Her reaction was downright pathetic.
Did this girl not hear his rank?
“I’m a Grade B Alpha,” he repeated, licking his lips with undisguised interest as he smoothed back his hair.
Grade B Alpha?
[In this novel’s setting, Alphas and Omegas are ranked from D to S, with higher ranks indicating stronger mental power and pheromones. Most people in the interstellar society are Grade C, while Grade B is considered prodigy-level. As for Grade A, there are fewer than 300 in the entire galaxy, and Grade S is an almost mythical rarity only ten have been confirmed so far.]
Ding Moyan: Is he bragging about being a genius?
[Yes. But Host, you’re Grade A, stronger than him.]
[Just release a bit of your pheromones, and that boy won’t be able to move. He’s no match for you.]
The green-haired boy bared a row of yellowed teeth, his gaze raking over Jiang Pei’s body as if mentally stripping him bare.
“And what if I don’t want to show respect?” he taunted. “What can you do about it?”
Ding Moyan scoffed lightly. After reading the system’s explanation, she felt much more at ease. If she could overpower him, then there was no need to hold back.
She rolled up her sleeves, ready to fight.
“Just an alpha trying to challenge me.” The green-haired boy’s face turned pale as he released his pheromones.
The thick, smoky scent instantly enveloped them, overpowering and nauseating.
Jiang Pei’s legs immediately weakened, his heart clenched in pain, and his back felt as if a massive boulder were pressing down on him. Thousands of ants seemed to crawl through his bones, causing unbearable agony throughout his body. His chest tightened, making it hard to breathe.
Saliva pooled in Jiang Pei’s throat, and he desperately fought the urge to gag ungracefully.
“Don’t be afraid.” Ding Moyan comforted him, gently ruffling his hair.
Tears welled up uncontrollably in Jiang Pei’s eyes as he gasped weakly, leaning against Ding Moyan’s arm for support.
Ding Moyan was an A-rank alpha not the strongest S-rank, but still among the elite. The green-haired boy’s pheromone suppression was nothing more than a light drizzle to her, barely noticeable.
Narrowing her eyes, Ding Moyan followed the method the system had taught her. A surge of energy radiated from her body, releasing an overwhelming fragrance of white lotus, fresh and soothing.
The rich scent completely overpowered and neutralized the green-haired boy’s pheromones.
The boy’s body stiffened, immobilized. His face drained of color, his eyes bulging as if they might pop out of their sockets.
Panic set in. His mouth stretched to its limit as he screamed in disbelief, “How is this possible?! How can you be A-rank?!”
Ding Moyan smirked coldly, leaping forward and delivering a swift kick to the boy’s abdomen.
With a loud thud, he crashed into the wall.
Dizzy and clutching his aching stomach, the green-haired boy stared in horror, a flicker of fear flashing in his eyes. This time, he had truly kicked an iron plate.
At the Rose Workshop, aside from the President, a top-tier omega, he couldn’t recall anyone else surpassing B-rank.
Rage and humiliation twisted his expression, his heart filled with terror and resentment.
Why is she an A-rank alpha? How dare she be?!
The boy glared at Ding Moyan with bitter hatred.
Unfazed, Ding Moyan picked up a nearby brick and strode elegantly toward him. Still paralyzed by her pheromones, the boy could only watch in terror as the orange brick swung toward his head.
His pupils shrank in sheer panic.
Inside a private booth at the Rose Workshop’s café,
A girl dressed in a fresh, youthful style twirled around cheerfully, her pretty face beaming with joy.
“Ye Ye, stop spinning. Ding Bai is already annoyed enough,” Yu Sisi said, sipping her milk tea with a hint of impatience.
Ye Ye halted abruptly with an exaggerated “Oh-ho!” before sidling up to Ding Bai. “Bai Bai, are you upset? Are you angry?”
“Stay away from me.” Ding Bai eyed her like she was insane, her delicate brows furrowing as she instinctively scooted further away.
“Ah! Bai Bai, you’re breaking my heart!” Ye Ye stepped closer, casually tugging at Ding Bai’s hair.
Ignoring Ding Bai’s cold demeanor, she continued, “Old Mrs. Ding is coming back.”
“Really, my mom told me. Old Lady Ding will return in a few days.”
“So, what will you do when she comes back? She’s always despised you well, more accurately, she despises impure bloodlines.” Ye Ye’s eyes narrowed slightly, her lips curling into a leisurely smile. Though her tone was light, her words pressed relentlessly against Ding Bai.
Ding Bai lowered her gaze, her expression unreadable, perfectly masking her emotions.
“My dear Bo Bo, you really need to work hard, otherwise your hard-earned Prefect position could be taken over by Ding Moyan at any moment.”
“And then there’ll be no one left to help you.”
“How pitiful you are! My dear Bo Bo.” Ye Ye’s voice was soft, but her words carried a dangerous edge.
