- Chapter 18 - Rule 18 for Raising a Daughter: The Boring Omega
A long gash split open on Ding Bai’s neck, blood gushing out like a spring and soaking half of her shirt in an instant.
Yu Sisi’s face turned deathly pale, her legs trembling.
She let out a piercing scream, staring in horror at the bloody scene before her, covering her mouth in shock.
Ding Bai’s health points plummeted rapidly, nearing the ominous number of zero.
Ye Ye frantically pulled out Healing Powder from the supply bag and shakily sprinkled it over Ding Bai’s slender neck, barely stabilizing her last sliver of health.
Clenching her teeth, Ye Ye glared into the distance.
A man in black rode a hovering machine, swiftly ascending to the rooftop midair. His silver bow remained drawn, the arrowhead aimed squarely at Ye Ye.
Several teammates followed closely behind him.
The black-clad man looked down at them with cold superiority. Seeing the fragile Omegas battered and bloodied, a gleam of satisfaction flickered in his eyes. With a cruel curl of his thin lips, he began in a chilling tone, “Hello again, my adorable little Omega friends.”
They had found them far too quickly.
Ye Ye stared blankly at the man in black, suddenly regretting her earlier impulsiveness.
Fifteen minutes earlier.
“Damn it, we found this first!” Ye Ye scowled as two male Alphas strode toward the supply zone they had discovered.
“Three Omegas?” A bearded man sneered, turning to his companion. “Since when can Omegas even meddle in holographic games?”
Yu Sisi raised her weapon in warning, furious. “Who are you calling weak?”
“Little Omega, do you even know how to handle a gun? Can you even aim?” The bearded man laughed mockingly, pointing at his own head. “Come on, if you’ve got the guts, shoot me right here.”
Ye Ye scoffed, snatching the 94F pistol from Yu Sisi’s hands, and fired two shots at the bearded man granting his death wish.
Ye Ye was the youngest in her family, with several older brothers who had served in the military. Just in case, they had taught her how to handle survival weapons like firearms.
Her aim was impeccable, and with the bearded man standing completely still, practically begging to be shot, missing was nearly impossible.
The bearded man’s eyes bulged in shock. Neither he nor his companion had expected a seemingly meek Omega to strike so ruthlessly.
A bullet pierced his skull, splattering blood.

“You’re dead!” The other man roared, hefting a hoe and charging at Ye Ye and the others.
Ye Ye raised her gun and fired again, her movements smooth and effortless, easily taking him down.
“Pathetic,” Ye Ye spat, stepping over the Alpha’s corpse with a bounce in her step.
“Such a pretty Omega, yet so vicious.” A playful voice drifted from the stairwell.
The tone was magnetic, husky, laced with a seductive edge. In the pitch-black night, it slithered into their ears like an enchanting melody, bewitching and unsettling.
Ye Ye’s gaze shifted from the corpse to the source of the voice. Excitement and amusement flickered in her eyes, as if she had found a thrill in killing. Her fingers tightened around the gun, thumb stroking the grip, ready to fire at any moment.
Ding Bai gripped her whip, warily eyeing the shadowy stairwell.

The approaching footsteps suggested there were quite a few people coming.
The leader, a tall man in black robes standing about six feet tall, stepped forward wearing a mask that covered half his face.
As everyone’s attention focused on the man, his accomplices quietly made off with the supplies behind them.
“Ye Ye! The supplies are gone!” Yu Sisi was the first to notice. She turned her head to look and found the supplies behind them had suddenly vanished without a trace.
“What?” Ye Ye exclaimed in shock, glancing back distractedly.
Indeed, the supplies were gone. Not only that, but the corpse she had been stepping on earlier had disappeared too.
Ding Bai remained calm, his eyes flickering toward the scene. “That person must have a revival armor. They’re working together.”
“Damn it!” Ye Ye wanted to curse.
But when she saw the person standing openly behind the black-robed man, holding the supplies, an idea flashed in her mind. She exchanged glances with Ding Bai and the others. After spending so much time together, they immediately understood what Ye Ye was planning.
Ye Ye stealthily swallowed a White pill, a reward she had received for completing her initial mission. There were two White pills in total. Consuming one would temporarily boost her speed for five seconds. Five seconds would be enough.
Have you ever seen the speed of the wind? She would be just as fast.
In the blink of an eye, Ye Ye appeared in front of the person. Taking advantage of their startled reaction, she snatched the supplies and made a run for it.
The black-robed man was sharp and quick to react. His long blade slashed toward the blur of movement following his instincts.
But it was a pity her speed was too fast, and the little thief managed to escape.
Ye Ye successfully returned with the supplies, though her arm was injured in the process. She tossed the supplies to Ding Bai, her face pale from blood loss.
“Hmph, quite fast indeed.” The black-robed man sheathed his blade, his cold gaze fixed on their fleeing figures. A bloodthirsty smirk curled at the corner of his lips as he uttered softly, “But you won’t get away.”
“All personnel, withdraw. Begin detonating the explosives.”
“You’re the first team I’ve eliminated. Any last words?” The black-robed man tilted his head slightly. “Ah, especially you, little thief. Anything to say?”
Ye Ye’s face remained icy. She didn’t speak, her hand tightly gripping her last White pill. She was waiting for the perfect opportunity, a single strike to kill this monster. And she only had one chance.
After a long silence with no response, the black-robed man grew bored. He had expected his prey to struggle a little more, but their silence made it seem like they had accepted their fate. Such fragile, useless Omegas.
He raised his bow, preparing to execute each member of the team one by one.
A sharp clang interrupted his motion.
A piece of black firearm metal flew from a distance, striking the black-robed man squarely on the head.
