Transmigrated into a Classic Dog-Blood Drama as the Scummy Alpha - Chapter 51
Lin Qinghan blushed from Shen Xian’s words. Her gaze drifted to the dessert in front of her, lips curling faintly as she picked up a small spoon and began eating the matcha cake. The light sweetness melted in her mouth, and she couldn’t help but recall Shen Xian’s behavior today—everything she’d asked of Shen Xian, she had done without complaint, even being especially attentive. There wasn’t even a trace of irritation.
As Lin Qinghan’s thoughts wandered, Shen Xian returned after delivering the cake to the staff. She strode over to her desk, leaned against it with a slight tilt, and looked at Lin Qinghan with a smile tugging at her lips. “President Lin, any other orders for me?” For some reason, Shen Xian genuinely enjoyed being tasked by Lin Qinghan—it felt like Lin Qinghan saw her as one of her own.
Lin Qinghan shot her a look, but the smile at the corners of her lips couldn’t be suppressed. “No more orders. And stop teasing me. Go eat your cake.”
“Okay, I’ll go eat my little cake.” Shen Xian grinned as she picked up her slice of Black Forest cake and sat on the sofa to enjoy it.
Lin Qinghan also brought her own cake and joined her on the couch.
Shen Xian looked at her with a gentle smile. “Why aren’t you sitting at the desk anymore?”
“I didn’t want to disturb your work. Do you still have anything left to do?” Lin Qinghan asked somewhat guiltily as she scooped her cake. She was beginning to wonder if coming to the office with Shen Xian had disrupted her work.
“Not at all. Everything’s done—you don’t need to worry about me,” Shen Xian replied as she scooted a little closer and smiled at her.
Lin Qinghan opened her mouth to retort, but held back. Normally when Shen Xian teased her like this, she would snap back immediately. But this time, she decided to go along with her and lifted her brow to meet
Shen Xian’s gaze. “That’s right. I was worried about you.”
That caught Shen Xian completely off guard—it wasn’t the reaction she was expecting. She flushed a little, fanned herself awkwardly, and shoved another bite of cake in her mouth.
Seeing Shen Xian so flustered, Lin Qinghan couldn’t help but laugh out loud as she leaned comfortably on the sofa.
Around five in the afternoon, the two of them went down to the garage together to pick up their little one.
Shen Xian’s car was neat and minimalistic, without any decorative items. Lin Qinghan had noticed it before but hadn’t mentioned anything since they weren’t that close yet. Now, her eyes lit up as she turned to Shen Xian and asked, “Why don’t you have anything in your car? Most people have little trinkets or decorations.”
Shen Xian was taken aback. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to decorate—it just hadn’t crossed her mind. In her previous life, she’d been consumed with work and never had the time or energy for such things. Even after getting this car in her current life, she’d never thought about it.
“I forgot, honestly. I wouldn’t even know what to get. Why don’t you and Tiantian help me pick something later?” Shen Xian offered after thinking it over. The car really did feel a little too empty, too impersonal.
Lin Qinghan smiled and turned toward her. “Alright. But once Tiantian and I make the decisions, you’re not allowed to back out.”
Shen Xian chuckled. “Okay. I’ll listen to both of you.”
“That’s more like it,” Lin Qinghan said with a grin.
They parked near the school entrance. The kindergarteners hadn’t been dismissed yet, and several classes were still lined up on the playground, waiting to be led out.
Soon, Tiantian emerged hand-in-hand with Li Mengmeng. Upon seeing her two moms, she immediately said goodbye to her friend and ran over excitedly.
“Mama! Mommy!” she called out sweetly, giving Lin Qinghan a quick hug before rushing over to hug Shen Xian too.
Shen Xian simply scooped her up into her arms, making the little girl giggle with joy.
Lin Qinghan watched the two of them play around and gently reminded, “Be careful, you two. No roughhousing. You can play when we get home.”
Shen Xian looked over and smiled. “Alright, we’ll stop. Let’s go shopping with Mommy, okay?”
The moment Tiantian heard the word “shopping,” her eyes lit up. Like all kids, she loved joining in the fun. “Okay! Tiantian wants to go too!”
“Sure! You can pick whatever you like,” Shen Xian said with a smile as she buckled Tiantian into the child seat. Lin Qinghan sat in the back to keep her company.
They stopped at a shopping mall and headed into a store that sold decorations and toys.
Tiantian had rarely visited toy stores in the past—partly because Lin Qinghan was always busy with work, and partly because money had been tight. Back then, Lin Qinghan had to juggle the financial demands of her parents, her brother, and even Shen Xian, on top of rent and school fees for her daughter. There simply hadn’t been room for extras.
Seeing the way Tiantian eagerly looked at everything in the store but didn’t dare touch anything made Shen Xian’s heart ache a little. Lately, she’d been so caught up with work that she hadn’t even noticed how long it had been since she’d taken her daughter out to play.
She ruffled the little girl’s hair affectionately. “Tiantian, just tell Mommy what you want—anything is okay.”
Though still young, Tiantian remembered how her moms used to argue about money. Even though Mommy had gotten better and now bought her lots of yummy things, Tiantian had developed a habit of not asking for anything. Even when she liked a toy, she would just look without reaching out.
Seeing this, Shen Xian picked her up again and whispered gently, “Don’t be shy, sweetie. Mommy earned lots of little coins just for you to spend.”
Tiantian blushed and snuggled into her mother’s arms. After a moment, she pointed at a stuffed bunny nearby.
Shen Xian picked it up with a smile. It seemed small in her hands, but in Tiantian’s arms, it looked huge and absolutely adorable.
While picking out toys with Tiantian, Shen Xian turned to Lin Qinghan. “Qinghan, help me pick something for the car?”
Lin Qinghan nodded with a smile. “Sure.”
She grabbed a set of pink piggy figurines from a nearby shelf and held them up. “Cute, right?”
Shen Xian nodded. She didn’t care too much either way—if Qinghan liked it, that was enough. “Very cute.”
Trying not to laugh, Lin Qinghan gathered a whole row of wobbly pink pigs to line up on Shen Xian’s dashboard. She also grabbed a plush cat to put in the back seat.
Shen Xian spotted a huge teddy bear—about the size of two Tiantians—and asked her daughter, “Do you like this one? You can sleep with it.”
Tiantian nodded seriously. “Yes! I’ll sleep with the teddy!”
The bear was big and awkward to carry. After checking out, they loaded everything into the car, then returned to the mall for dinner. Shen Xian chose a private kitchen-style restaurant with good reviews.
Back in the car, Lin Qinghan stuck the row of pink bobblehead pigs on the dashboard and placed the cat plush in the back seat.
She couldn’t help but laugh—Shen Xian might be an executive now, but her car was decorated with a whole row of pink pigs. It was oddly adorable.
Shen Xian glanced at her, puzzled. “You like them that much?”
Lin Qinghan grinned. “Mm-hmm. I do.”
When they got home, they helped Tiantian get washed up. She insisted on sleeping with the giant teddy bear. The bear was so big it nearly flattened her, but Tiantian just giggled and nuzzled its face.
Maybe it was the shopping trip, but she fell asleep quickly beside her bear. Once she was out, Lin Qinghan returned to the living room where Shen Xian was still watching TV.
She sat beside her and leaned against her shoulder. “What are you watching?”
“Just checking on a few stocks I’ve been watching. They’re doing pretty well today.” Shen Xian shifted slightly, wrapping an arm around Lin Qinghan to make her more comfortable.
With their closeness, Shen Xian’s sweet citrus scent became more pronounced. Lin Qinghan sank into her embrace contentedly, but she also remembered—her susceptibility period would end tomorrow. Would Shen Xian start wearing pheromone blockers again?
She looked up and said, “Shen Xian… when it’s just the two of us at home, could you not wear those blockers anymore?”
Shen Xian had no objection. She simply disliked smelling others’ pheromones or letting others smell hers—but Qinghan was different. If Qinghan trusted her now, she was happy to comply.
“Okay. I won’t wear them at home anymore. Honestly, they’re uncomfortable, and ripping them off every day hurts.”
Lin Qinghan chuckled softly. “Then why do you wear them every day?”
Shen Xian looked at her gently. “You didn’t like it before. I wore them to make you feel safer.”
Lin Qinghan looked at her for a long moment, then glanced away, ears tinged red. She buried her face in Shen Xian’s arms. “You’re such a fool.”
Shen Xian chuckled softly. “Not a fool. If it makes you and Tiantian happy, it’s worth it.”
Noticing Lin Qinghan was getting drowsy in her arms, Shen Xian asked, “Qinghan, want to go to bed?”
Lin Qinghan kept her eyes closed, reluctant to leave the warmth of Shen Xian’s arms. Part of her wanted Shen Xian to hold her like this all night. But instead of voicing that thought, she just murmured, “Mm, I’ll go now. Good night, Shen Xian.”
“Good night,” Shen Xian said softly, watching her leave with a faint smile.
But even as Lin Qinghan reluctantly stood and returned to her room, the string of digital numbers hovering faintly above her head had unknowingly risen to 50.

At the same time, Lu Jianbai staggered out of a bar with an Omega on his arm. After the collapse of his family’s business, he’d endured endless scoldings from his father. And having failed to hurt Lin Qinghan as planned, he now drowned his frustrations in alcohol and casual hookups—tonight was no exception.
The bar he frequented wasn’t exactly clean. It sat hidden behind a maze of alleys far from the main street. As usual, Lu Jianbai wrapped an arm around the Omega and walked out—only to find their path blocked halfway down the alley.
Drunkenly, he cursed, “The hell? Who’s in my way?”
The Omega in his arms went pale upon seeing five tall, intimidating Alphas. The leader gave her a cold glance. “If you don’t want trouble, scram.”
She sobered up instantly, broke free of Lu Jianbai, and ran off.
Lu Jianbai squinted but couldn’t make out their faces through the drunken haze. “Move… get out of my way…” he slurred.
Before he could say more, someone shoved a cloth into his mouth, and the group began beating him ruthlessly. A loud crack sounded as his left arm fractured.
“Wasn’t trying to break his arm,” one of them muttered. “Damn guy’s fragile.”
The leader waved it off. They had orders—not to kill, but to make him suffer. Every blow had carefully avoided his vital organs. His face remained untouched, still deceptively refined.
They dragged his unconscious body back to the bar’s entrance. Though the bar was a front, it ran more illicit operations in secret. Some patrons specifically liked abusing Alphas.
Once dumped outside, several inebriated men soon found him and took him back inside.
When Lu Jianbai woke up, pain wracked his entire body—especially a certain part of his lower half. His limbs were covered in bruises, and his left arm throbbed sharply.
As a doctor, he knew exactly what that pain meant.
Screaming in anger, he shouted, “Who the hell did this?! Come out, damn it! It hurts like hell!” But he had no memory of what happened, only that he was now lying naked on a lounge sofa in one of the private booths.
He tried to stand, but pain stopped him. His commotion eventually drew a security guard.
“Go ahead and report it,” the guard said calmly. “We’ve got no cameras. And you’re an Alpha—maybe you even consented. Who knows? Either way, move. We don’t open during the day.”
Lu Jianbai called the police. But drunk and confused, he could give no details. In the end, he just gave a statement and was taken to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the ER doctor on duty was someone he knew—Dr. Wang from First Hospital.
After examining him, Dr. Wang said bluntly, “You should really take it easy. At this rate, you might not even be able to use the restroom properly in the future.”
Lu Jianbai was livid. His jaw clenched so tightly it creaked. All he wanted was to know who had done this to him. What he didn’t realize… was that what happened to him last night bore a chilling resemblance to what he had once tried to do to Lin Qinghan.
And back then, he had been the predator.
