The White Moonlight Omega Has Amnesia and Always Tries to Seduce Me - Chapter 51
Shen Zhi pushed open the bathroom door and accidentally bumped right into Qin Huai, who was just getting up from her seat.
The Alpha had just finished washing up; her cheeks were still damp with moisture, and the wet bangs on her forehead naturally drooped, softening the sharpness of her facial structure. Seeing Qin Huai, she first curled her lips, wiping her damp hair with a towel, her eyes clear as if holding a pool of water, “Waiting for me specifically at the door?”
Perhaps because she had received a response, the knocking sound from earlier had stopped.
Qin Huai lowered her eyes, relieved, “I’m going out for a bit.”
“Going out for what?” The Alpha draped the towel over her head; when her eyes looked down, she actually resembled a soaking wet puppy.
Qin Huai couldn’t stand seeing her make that expression, so she looked away and hastily said, “Going out to eat.”
This was the most reasonable excuse she could think of. After all, it was already mealtime, and since the two of them had been “busy” all night and hadn’t had breakfast, going out to eat was perfectly normal.
“Then why aren’t you taking me?” Shen Zhi asked.
Qin Huai: “?”
Shen Zhi: “So you also think I’m unpresentable?”
Qin Huai: “No.”
Shen Zhi: “So you also think our relationship is shameful?”
The Alpha’s voice wasn’t very loud, sounding more like she was complaining of a grievance. Qin Huai stared straight into her eyes, and after she finished speaking, her thin lips slightly parted, and she asked in a flat, steady voice, “What is our relationship?”
Shen Zhi must have a masochistic tendency, for the more the Omega displayed this world-weary, negative emotion, the happier she felt.
Because this Qin Huai was one that others had never seen.
People only release all their emotions when they are most intimate or in front of themselves.
And Qin Huai was releasing all her emotions in front of her. These emotions were unknown to outsiders; the Qin Huai who was world-weary and self-loathing was like the black and white keys on a piano—the black would only be revealed when the white was pressed down.
She didn’t mind, not at all.
Shen Zhi took a step forward, just about to lower her head and kiss her Omega, when a sharp knock on the door sounded from outside.
The Alpha, whose mood was spoiled, frowned, a hint of displeasure flashing between her brows. She pulled her head back and muttered to herself, “Who is so annoying.”
This question only lasted a few seconds before it was answered.
There were two people attending the conference with Qin Huai: one was their mentor, and the other was Han Yishuang.
She bent down, her right hand pressing on Qin Huai’s jawline. As she spoke, the cool, solemn sandalwood scent intensified in circles, “You’re going out to eat?”
In this moment, Shen Zhi shed her usual playful demeanor and became unfathomable.
Qin Huai’s throat moved, but she didn’t know what to say.
“Is it with her?” Shen Zhi pressed.
Qin Huai’s throat was slightly dry; a sour sensation leaped from her chest to her mouth, making it difficult for her to even swallow a mouthful of saliva. Just as she was about to speak, the Alpha’s lips pressed close.
Han Yishuang stood outside the door for a long time until she couldn’t help but want to call, when the person inside finally opened the door.
There was no natural light in the hotel corridor; the good windows were all occupied by rooms. Even when a suitcase wheel rolled over the thick, patterned carpet, it wouldn’t make a sound, making the orange-yellow light appear particularly confined.
When Qin Huai opened the door, her head was lowered, her long hair naturally and loosely falling from the top of her head. She was wearing a spaghetti strap maxi dress; the thin straps slightly protruded as they passed her collarbone, and the white skin of her neck bore undeniable teeth marks.
What surprised Han Yishuang even more was the scent on Qin Huai.
The scent of sandalwood, in some moments, represented a serious atmosphere, but at this time, it had changed, carrying more of a sense of oppression and condescension.
The spicy scent burned the throat like a glass of strong liquor.
Han Yishuang understood almost instantly: there was an Alpha hidden in Qin Huai’s room.
And who that Alpha was, she knew perfectly well.
After all, the junior student’s scent was too obvious; what it meant for an Omega to carry an Alpha’s scent was naturally clear to others.
It was just that this Omega seemed unaware.
A playful smile flashed across Han Yishuang’s eyes. She held up the food she had bought and handed it to Qin Huai, “I came to find you for dinner.”
Qin Huai raised a hand, the back of her hand resting against her lips, and coldly refused, “It’s inconvenient.”
Han Yishuang: “The meeting officially starts this afternoon. Aren’t you nervous?”
The attendees at such events were all industry luminaries, either from wealthy backgrounds or those who had worked hard later to make a name for themselves. Every single one was used to big occasions, so it was normal for an Omega to be nervous.
Han Yishuang was worried Qin Huai was nervous and specially came to talk to her.
But she didn’t expect Qin Huai to refuse.
Not only did Qin Huai refuse, but she refused very thoroughly, “No need, someone is in the room, so it’s inconvenient.”
The air fell silent for a moment.
Han Yishuang lowered the hand holding the plastic bag, a look of hurt flashing in her eyes, “Junior, are you still mad at me?”
Han Yishuang was referring to Sunday afternoon.
Qin Huai frowned, not understanding why she suddenly brought that up.
Han Yishuang continued, “Junior, senior apologizes to you. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said those hurtful things about Shen Zhi.”
“Senior, your apology to me is useless. Because I am not Shen Zhi.” Qin Huai relaxed her brows; once Shen Zhi was mentioned, she became more talkative, and the coldness in her eyes was something she probably hadn’t even noticed herself, “I hope your apology, Senior, is not just for the sake of apologizing, but about your attitude towards Shen Zhi. She’s great, not as terrible as you make her out to be.”
“I appreciate your good intentions, but please take this food back and eat it yourself.”
After watching Han Yishuang’s retreating figure disappear at the end of the corridor, Qin Huai finally closed the door. As the door lock clicked with a crisp sound, her back fell into a hot embrace.
An Alpha’s bone structure is larger than an Omega’s, which is evident not only in height but also in physique. Shen Zhi’s shoulders were slightly wider, and the line from her shoulder to her waist was particularly exquisite. When she hugged Qin Huai from behind, she let out a deep breath.
The same toothpaste scent lingered around Qin Huai’s nostrils.
Making it difficult for her to distinguish whose scent it was.
“What did Han Yishuang mean?” Shen Zhi asked, blinking her dark eyes.
Qin Huai naturally couldn’t explain the situation from that afternoon. She looked at the wooden-colored door panel, allowing the Alpha to press her nose against her earlobe.
“So Sister also has times when she’s dishonest.” Shen Zhi’s tone was innocent, and the dimple on her cheek sank slightly, like aged wine that intoxicated people, “Then you really ought to be punished properly.”
After speaking, the Alpha’s hand traced down Qin Huai’s hip bone, and with a slight force when it reached her thigh, she lifted the Omega up as if carrying a child.
“Sister, don’t you dare cry later, okay?”
Compared to the night, Shen Zhi was actually more brazen during the day. She loved the sight of the sunlight spilling onto the floor, and the expression on Qin Huai’s face when she closed her eyes on the table, dominated by desire.
Just like now, the curtains were half-open, and the dim room was replaced by sunlight. The Omega pursed her thin lips, her face translucent white in the sun. Her skirt was lifted to her waist, and the shoulder straps slipped down due to the alternating tension and relaxation, like indelible black tattoos, tempting Shen Zhi to explore further.
This time, it didn’t stop until an hour before the meeting began.
Qin Huai was exhausted. After being carried by the Alpha to bathe, she lay in bed to recuperate. No matter how much the Alpha tried to please her or acted cute, it was no use.
Qin Huai didn’t spare her a single glance.
Half an hour before the meeting, Qin Huai finally got out of bed. Ignoring Shen Zhi’s gaze, she casually picked up a jacket and put it on. The jacket was so large that only after Qin Huai put it on did she realize whose clothes they were.
Actually, there was nothing to be embarrassed about.
The jacket’s fabric was rough and was extremely uncomfortable when rubbing against certain areas. Qin Huai frowned, bent down to retrieve a suit and comfortable underwear from her suitcase, and headed to the bathroom.
Shen Zhi followed right behind her. The moment the glass door closed, she asked eagerly, “Schoolmate, do you need help?”
“Get lost.”
Receiving a brief reply, Shen Zhi gave up and began to reflect in the corner on whether she had gone too far earlier.
Qin Huai had clearly cried.
And was already willing to help her…
But she was still insatiable, wanting more and more.
When her “stuff” was smeared on Qin Huai’s cold face, she actually used her index finger to wipe a little and placed it near Qin Huai’s mouth.
It was truly inexcusable.
Inside the bathroom, Qin Huai let out a soft “hiss” when she pulled down the jacket’s zipper, her expression changing.
That area of skin was already fragile and couldn’t withstand any rough treatment, let alone Shen Zhi’s force. At times, Qin Huai felt like the skin was about to break.
But she had to admit, when she was with Shen Zhi, it felt good.
The physical pain subtly transformed into excitement under Shen Zhi’s vigorous activity, making her completely ignore it.
Now, she was the one suffering.
Qin Huai frowned, putting her arm through the bra. When she tried to fasten the hook-and-eye closure, it hurt so much that tears almost fell out.
Shen Zhi heard the sound and “swoosh” opened the door, “What’s wrong? Huai Huai, do you need to go”
Before she could finish the word “hospital,” something was thrown at her.
It was the hotel’s disposable comb.
Shen Zhi caught it and asked nervously, “Huai Huai, are you okay?”
Qin Huai was already squatting on the floor from the pain, her eyes red, and her eye corners showing a hint of fragility.
She was only wearing her bra. After the Alpha came in, she suppressed that feeling, lifted her chin, and lightly swept her eyes over, like a high ranking leader issuing a command.
Only, the content of the command was extremely improper.
“Come in,” Qin Huai’s tone was indifferent, her attitude like treating a puppy, “Put my clothes on for me.”
