The Transmigration Mai Hai, a 21st-century college graduate and aspiring civil servant, suddenly transmigrates 1,000 years into the future (the year 3011). He inhabits the body of the 15-year-old First Prince of Planet Pandora. After a decade of overcoming “future illiteracy” and adapting to royal life, he is sent on a diplomatic mission to Earth Village to meet a political fiancée.
The Accident and Planet Juhua During his return flight, his spaceship malfunctions. He is pushed out of the ship with a protective stone around his neck and stranded on Planet Juhua (Giant). This planet is a strict patriarchy where society is divided by biological “attributes”: Yang (husband/dominant) and Yin (wife/subordinate). Marriage is not a choice; it is mandated by the state whenever a 100% attribute match is found in the government database.
The Forced Marriage Living under a fake identity to hide his royal status, Mai Hai is eventually flagged by the system. He is forced to marry Polack, a young, handsome, and cold-natured General. Mai Hai is designated as the “wife.” Despite his internal reluctance and fear of the physical aspects of a male-male marriage, he complies with the law to survive while waiting for a rescue from his home planet.
The Honeymoon and New Encounter The marriage begins with coldness and awkwardness. Polack is disappointed by Mai Hai’s “ordinary” looks, while Mai Hai finds Polack overbearing. However, a glimmer of tenderness appears on their wedding night when Polack agrees to wait until Mai Hai is “ready.”
The couple plans a honeymoon to Egypt (Earth Village), but Polack is called away on urgent military business at the boarding gate. Mai Hai proceeds with the trip alone. On the flight, he meets Kedexin, a high-ranking officer and adventurer who is immediately charmed by Mai Hai’s personality, creating a potential love triangle as Mai Hai begins to explore the future world on his own terms.
