The Sickly Beauty is Too Good at Seducing - Chapter 35
When Shen Congbai was finally released, he had no energy left to throw a tantrum. His eyes were half-closed, and he let out fitful, quiet sobs.
Feng Yu lowered his head like a large dog, nuzzling Shen Congbai’s cheek with lingering affection. He traced from the boy’s tear-reddened eyelids down to the corners of his mouth, his hot breath already becoming restless with the urge to entwine with him again.
Shen Congbai had been kissed into submission. Sensing the man’s intent, a whimper that sounded like a plea for mercy escaped his throat. He mimicked the gesture, pressing his face against Feng Yu’s and piteously begging to be let go.
Feng Yu let out a low laugh, his voice sounding thick with suppressed desire. “How piteous. Why are you crying so piteously?”
Shen Congbai let out a muffled “Wuu.” Terrified that the man would start his madness again, he summoned his strength to sit up and firmly hugged the man’s broad arm. At the same time, he buried his tear-stained face into Feng Yu’s chest to ensure he wouldn’t be dragged out for more “bullying.” He closed his eyes, his breathing rapid.
A hand slid through a gap in his clothing, finding the ridge of his spine and slowly stroking every inch of bone. Shen Congbai flinched sensitively, only to be locked into an even hotter embrace.
Feng Yu patted his back gently. Feeling the gaunt body beneath his hand sharp as a blade he sighed, “How did you get so thin? Did you cry this much at the Shen house, too?”
Shen Congbai didn’t want to talk to him. He buried his head deeper. The rhythm of Feng Yu’s hand, like someone coaxing a child, eventually lulled him into a state of drowsiness.
He opened his mouth and bit into the lapel of the man beneath him, thinking muddledly: Feng Yu, you bad guy… I don’t cry all the time.
Once the person in his arms grew steady, Feng Yu lightened his movements. He hooked one arm under the youth’s knees and, as if handling a fragile treasure, placed him steadily on the bed. He left a kiss on the boy’s forehead, then went to the bathroom for a damp towel to carefully wipe away the remnants of tears from Shen Congbai’s face.
The next day, Shen Congbai uncharacteristically woke up early. His eyelids were still red a light, shallow layer of pink that was inexplicably suggestive.
The person himself was completely oblivious. A shirt hung loosely over his shoulders, and his lips were pressed flat. Like a grumpy kitten, he walked toward the dining table without a word.
Feng Yu was leaning against the kitchen door, holding a plate with a heart-shaped fried egg, watching with great interest. His gaze roamed over Shen Congbai’s frame. Only when the boy drew near did he slowly straighten up contentedly letting Shen Congbai walk straight into his chest.
Shen Congbai, whose mind was still drifting in space, suddenly collided with a body as hard as a mountain. He let out a small cry of pain and looked at Feng Yu with a face full of resentment.
The latter walked unhurriedly to the table, a smirk playing on his lips. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his face suddenly held a spark of youthful vitality.
“After crying like that last night, why didn’t you sleep in?”
Shen Congbai: “…”
Shameless. You’re brave enough to do it but won’t admit it. Look at who exactly was the one who made me cry.
Shen Congbai forced down the urge to glare and said steadily, “Didn’t you say you wanted me to go to work with you?”
Sensing something off about the boy, Feng Yu narrowed his eyes and tilted Shen Congbai’s chin to inspect him.
The youth was bathed in the early morning light. The pale gold sun came from behind him, highlighting the fine downy hairs on his cheeks. He looked incredibly fair, staring at Feng Yu unblinkingly with total earnestness.
Feng Yu suddenly felt he couldn’t handle such a focused gaze. He silently let go and straightened his back. His full chest and abdomen were faintly visible beneath his shirt.
Shen Congbai’s gaze froze, then drifted downward almost imperceptibly. Following the movement, Feng Yu’s jawline tightened and his features became more defined. He was practically displaying himself like an object for a customer to choose, showing off his best side.
Feng Yu gave a light cough and, as if by accident, propped one hand in front of Shen Congbai. “Why are you suddenly so well-behaved?”
“It’s because you kept bullying me before that I was angry,” Shen Congbai replied, cutting the heart-shaped egg in half. He thought for a moment, then looked conflicted. He knit his brows and coughed twice. “You… next time, can you not be so… so…?”
He pointed at Feng Yu’s trousers. It was as if the man had been holding back too long; even after finishing breakfast, that part hadn’t settled down. His pants were tied loosely at his hips, held together by a single, stubborn button. The “mountain” was looming, looking precarious.
It looked exceptionally… indecent.
As the words landed, the smile on Feng Yu’s face froze instantly. The only sound in the room was the quiet breathing; the atmosphere was awkward to the extreme.
A grinding sound came from Feng Yu’s back teeth. Before Shen Congbai could say another word, he slammed the bathroom door shut with a loud bang.
The rims of Shen Congbai’s ears were completely flooded with red. Thinking about what Feng Yu was doing behind that closed door made his heart beat even faster.
He poked at the egg in front of him. By the time the poor heart-shaped egg was riddled with holes, Feng Yu was standing at the bathroom door, dripping with cold water. His gaze was deep, harboring an unspeakable desire that he forced down with restraint as he looked at Shen Congbai.
Shen Congbai inexplicably didn’t dare to meet his gaze. He stood up abruptly and stammered, “I… I’m going to change.”
Feng Yu stared at him heavily, his gaze following the boy all the way into the room. Only when the last crack of the door was shut did he reluctantly pull his gaze away and, expressionless, shove the mangled egg into his mouth.
