- Chapter 34 - Feng Yu, Stop Kissing! You're So Annoying!
Shen Congbai lay staring at the snow-white ceiling. While his thoughts were a chaotic mess, his heart was overflowing with a layer of joy that was impossible to ignore.
He rolled onto his side and curled the quilt into his embrace. His breathing was rapid as he murmured, “So strange.”
A flash of bewilderment crossed Shen Congbai’s elegant features. He closed his eyes, hoping to alleviate the unfamiliar sensation in his chest through deep breathing. However, after several failed struggles, he found that his mind was instead completely filled with Feng Yu’s words.
Shen Congbai snapped his eyes open, looking at the closed bedroom door with sudden, inexplicable embarrassment. Feng Yu, that bad guy, left such a cryptic sentence and then just abandoned him. Now he’s feeling so weird he almost forgot what he wanted to do after his rebirth.
The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He suddenly threw off the quilt and marched out of the room with a surge of momentum. But the moment he saw Feng Yu’s broad back standing in the kitchen, his bolstered courage instantly hit rock bottom.
Shen Congbai suppressed the unfamiliar pounding in his heart and asked, “You… what did you mean by what you just said?”
His gaze darted around, his thick eyelashes fluttering. He didn’t dare look directly at Feng Yu, forcing a calm tone. “Don’t think that just because you said those things I’ll be grateful to you or let you control me. I don’t actually care about being even with you, I just…”
“Mph!”
Feng Yu’s handsome face loomed close before he even realized it, and a spoonful of ginger soup was thrust into his mouth. Stimulated by the spicy, pungent taste, Shen Congbai instinctively tried to spit it out. But the man was too fast; before he could react, his throat automatically swallowed the liquid completely.
Feng Yu held the bowl of ginger soup and looked at him with a smile. “How does it taste? Any improvement compared to three years ago?”
“It doesn’t seem quite as spicy.” Shen Congbai followed the conversation halfway before realizing he’d been forced to swallow the soup. He straightened up again. “If you dare feed me things randomly again, watch out, I won’t be polite!”
“Mm, have another sip.” Feng Yu ignored the threat and hovered another spoonful of ginger soup near his lips, coaxing him, “I added some honey to this one; the taste isn’t as strong. Drink a few more sips.”
Shen Congbai was a picky eater; he immediately turned his head, refusing a second sip. “I don’t want it. I told you I’m not cold… achoo!“
No sooner had he said he wasn’t cold than he let out a sneeze. Shen Congbai curled his toes. In his hurry to come out, he hadn’t even put on socks. The icy temperature of the floor traveled through the soles of his feet up his spine. Only then did he belatedly feel the chill.
Shen Congbai thought, Oh no. Sure enough, in the next instant, an arm encircled his waist. He looked up at Feng Yu, only to see a sharp jawline and a downward-curving mouth. Before he could speak, Feng Yu gave him a warning glance. “Not cold?”
Shen Congbai instantly became obedient. With drooping eyes, he was carried back to the sofa by a single arm. His rounded toes, tinted a pale pink from the cold, now looked like ten cute pieces of jade as they were tucked against Feng Yu’s abdomen for warmth.
However, when that spoonful of ginger soup was brought to his lips again, Shen Congbai still didn’t learn his lesson. He turned his head in a silent refusal. “I’m not drinking that.”
After he spoke, no sign of anger appeared on Feng Yu’s face. Instead, the man gave a slight nod, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. Under Shen Congbai’s innocent gaze, Feng Yu tilted his head and took the entire bowl of ginger soup into his own mouth.
Shen Congbai was still staring at the man’s Adam’s apple, wondering why he wasn’t swallowing, when a large, rough hand suddenly clamped around the back of his neck, forcing his head upward.
In the next moment, his lips were completely enveloped by a hot, intense breath. A thick tongue pried open his teeth with unstoppable force. Shen Congbai only had time to let out a muffled gasp before he was thoroughly tasted from beginning to end.
But that tongue wasn’t satisfied with merely conquering his oral cavity; it relentlessly pressed against the root of his tongue. Shen Congbai couldn’t withstand such a fierce assault; his tongue already hurt from the intensity. He propped his hands against Feng Yu’s chest to push back, only to be pressed closer by an arm that had wound around his back. He was bumped into a mass of iron-like muscles that made him feel uncomfortable all over.
Before he could recover from the shock, a warm liquid began to flow slowly into his mouth, guided by Feng Yu’s domineering tongue.
Even though the tip of Shen Congbai’s tongue had been heartlessly teased into numbness, he was still stimulated by the spicy flavor and tried to spit it out. However, with his tongue still being pinned down, his attempt to push outward looked more like a “push-and-pull” invitation, creating wet, squelching sounds as the liquid was squeezed within his mouth.
This time, Shen Congbai was truly driven to tears by pure frustration. He didn’t know how long Feng Yu had been kissing him; he only knew that when it ended, not only did his mouth ache with numbness, but his legs were devoid of strength. He slumped limply in Feng Yu’s arms, sobbing fitfully.
Feng Yu raised an eyebrow. A sensation of incredibly smooth, cool skin traveled to his palm. He held his breath. Shen Congbai’s eyes were lowered, his long lashes completely masking his gaze, revealing only a fragile lower eyelid and a beautiful profile. His slender neck was exposed, with the faint pulsing of blue veins visible beneath the skin.
Noticing the gaze, Shen Congbai puffed out his cheeks and delivered a fierce bite to the man’s hand, leaving a deep set of tooth marks.
His voice still held the nasal tone of someone who had just cried. “Bad guy! You kissed me so hard it hurts!”
Then, his lips were taken into another kiss. Shen Congbai’s words were cut off as a warm fingertip pressed against his lips, slowly and ambiguously stroking the swollen area.
The veins on Feng Yu’s forehead throbbed as he suppressed his own urges, patiently coaxing the boy. “It won’t hurt after a few more kisses.”
Before his voice could even fade, Shen Congbai’s teeth were once again maliciously pried open, his tongue taken and toyed with. He truly had no strength left to break free, so he simply gave up and lay flat, his arms loosely draped around Feng Yu’s neck. His eyes drooped, and only when the kissing became too painful did he let out a few soft whimpers.
