- Chapter 21.1 - Fake Young Master Alpha x Real Young Master Alpha (Part 21)
“The gland development is very good. Passing the final screening for the League won’t be a problem,” Dr. Li said as he looked at the report.
“Will there be any sequelae?” Pei Yingjue asked, his brow furrowed.
Dr. Li replied, “For now, we need to continue observing. Additionally, your own results are out. Your glands are essentially fine. We just need to observe for another week to confirm the situation.”
Pei Yingjue wanted to press further, but Su Yi suddenly grabbed his hand. He looked down to see Su Yi winking at him.
“Thank you, Doctor.”
With that, Su Yi pulled Pei Yingjue out of the consultation room and all the way into the restroom. Seeing Su Yi lock the door, Pei Yingjue asked in confusion, “What is wrong?”
Su Yi turned around and pulled down his collar. “I feel like my gland is a bit hot. Smell it and see if there are any pheromones.”
The exposed fair skin still bore faint red bite marks. Pei Yingjue’s eyelids twitched at the sight. He stepped forward, pressing down on Su Yi’s shoulders and pulling the collar back up. “We will look when we get back.”
What if someone else saw them in the restroom?
“I locked the door,” Su Yi said. “And this is a single-occupancy restroom.”
Pei Yingjue lowered his head and suddenly froze.
He smelled a cloyingly sweet scent of pomegranate. This was the first time he had smelled Su Yi’s pheromones.
Su Yi leaned against the restroom door, tilting his head and urging, “Well? Did I smell it wrong?”
Suddenly, a hand covered his gland. Su Yi’s body tensed, and then he heard Pei Yingjue speak in a low voice.
“Yes, I smell it,” Pei Yingjue said, his voice muffled as he buried his head in the crook of Su Yi’s neck.
The warm air brushed against Su Yi’s collarbone breath by breath, stirring up waves of itchiness. Su Yi tilted his head, nuzzling against Pei Yingjue’s hair. “Aren’t the League results being announced next week? I heard the academy is arranging an early gala for the graduates. If we make it into the top three, let’s go celebrate,” Su Yi said with a smile.
The gala.
Pei Yingjue suddenly tightened his grip on Su Yi’s waist. He remembered clearly that the gala required parents to attend. Even after the results came out, Pei Yingjue had not confessed everything to Su Yi yet.
“What is it?” Su Yi asked softly. “Do you not want to?”
“How do you want to celebrate?” Pei Yingjue asked.
Su Yi squeezed out of his arms and said excitedly, “I have already thought it out, but it is a secret.”
This was the breakup ceremony he had planned. It was his masterpiece, so naturally, he could not leak it.
“A secret?” Pei Yingjue had not expected Su Yi to plan so far ahead.
Su Yi raised an eyebrow. “Of course. Not only are we celebrating that day, but we are celebrating today too. How about we have a drink tonight?” Su Yi tested the waters.
Pei Yingjue looked at him. “You are not allowed to drink too much.”
“Yes, Sir, Officer Pei!”
Despite saying he would not drink much, under the warm yellow candlelight, Su Yi inevitably overindulged. Pei Yingjue rarely tried to restrain him this time. Having discovered his pheromones, Su Yi deserved to be happy.
“A-Jue,” Su Yi slumped over the table, his face flushed, looking at him with watery fox-like eyes.
The look made Pei Yingjue feel a pang of longing. He reached out and flicked Su Yi’s nose. “What is wrong?”
“When my parents come to the gala, will that count as meeting the family? I have not told them yet. Should I call them now?”
Su Yi peeked up to observe Pei Yingjue. His identity had changed. He had to become an enduring, deeply affectionate, and devoted person. This was his first step in testing Pei Yingjue’s intentions.
Seeing Su Yi reach for his phone, Pei Yingjue immediately grabbed his hand. Su Yi looked up at him. “What is wrong?”
Pei Yingjue’s heart tightened under his gaze. “Why do you want to introduce me to your parents?”
Hearing this, Su Yi suddenly smiled, his eyes curving into crescents like they were filled with fragmented starlight. “Because I like you.”
Like. Their meeting had started because of Su Yi’s single “I like you.”
Pei Yingjue leaned down and pinched Su Yi’s chin, asking softly, “Su Yi, will you ever leave me?”
The drunk Su Yi’s eyes had long since become dazed. Having his chin pinched made him whimper twice. He took a moment to process the question until his grey eyes met Pei Yingjue’s gaze. Su Yi lifted his head and kissed him, his breath heavy with the scent of alcohol.
Love was overwhelming, ready to ignite at a touch.
The red silk tablecloth was suddenly yanked aside. Bowls, chopsticks, and wine glasses tumbled together, while drops of red wine mingled with water on the floor.
Su Yi sobbed while lying on top of Pei Yingjue. “It is cold. I do not want it here.”
But Pei Yingjue seemed deaf to him, only lowering his head to kiss him repeatedly without loosening his grip.
“Su Yi, I love you.”
“Ugh!” Su Yi suddenly arched his neck, and Pei Yingjue leaned in to kiss the fragile, pulsing vein there.
From the first floor to the second, the living room, the bedroom, and the bathroom, the salty pheromones and the sweet pomegranate scent filled the entire house. By the time they were finished, it was the middle of the night. Su Yi lay on Pei Yingjue’s chest. He was not heavy, but his presence made Pei Yingjue’s heart feel heavy and soft.
Pei Yingjue reached out to touch Su Yi’s soft hair. The boy shifted and nuzzled against him restlessly like a small animal. A living person was nestled in his arms, having forced his way into his life. Every corner of the room held the essence of this second person.
He only needed Su Yi. Su Yi was his home.
Pei Yingjue suddenly lowered his head and kissed the boy’s brow. He kissed him with such earnest devotion that he did not notice Su Yi’s eyelashes tremble.
The League’s efficiency was extremely high, not to mention the highly anticipated results. On the second day after the final screening, the League’s official website posted the winners of the Imperial League, spreading the news across the Empire overnight.
On the Morristy Academy forums, one “hot” post after another appeared, causing the site to crash. The reason was simple: the first-place winners were not only a two-person team but also students of Morristy Academy. More importantly, it was a team composed of a scholarship student and a noble student.
For a moment, the discussion was rampant.
10L: How do those two know each other? How did a scholarship student get to know the Young Master of the Su family?
11L: Is the person above looking down on scholarship students?
12L: My classmate is in Senior Sister Su’s lab. They have known for a long time that Pei and Su were on good terms. They even joked about Pei in their group chats.
13L: Really? Su is indeed low-key and does not put on noble airs. It is not surprising he hangs out with Pei.
14L: Our school’s ranking is going to rise this time. Those two will definitely be the center of attention at next week’s gala.
15L: Center of attention? They are the protagonists! I need to ask them for some pointers.
“The two of you are famous now,” Su Qing teased as she put her phone away.
Su Yi went over to help her organize her things. “That is all thanks to you, Senior Sister.”
Su Qing raised an eyebrow and looked at Pei Yingjue. “He has a sweet tongue.”
Pei Yingjue glanced at Su Yi and smiled lightly. “Yes, that is just his personality.”
He spoke with natural pride, as if showing off. Su Qing felt her teeth ache from the “sourness” of their public display of affection. She waved them away. “No showing off in front of me. You two will be the focus of the gala next week. Go get ready and celebrate.”
“Then bye-bye, Senior Sister!”
After saying goodbye to Su Qing, Su Yi drove Pei Yingjue, intending to go somewhere.
“Not going to the mall?” Pei Yingjue asked.
“Of course not. I found someone to custom-make outfits for us,” Su Yi said. “I reckon many people from the League will be at the gala. I have to dress little Pei up to be handsome enough to dazzle everyone!”
Pei Yingjue was amused by him. His phone vibrated, and he looked down to see a message from Chen Liao.
[Chen Liao: The stuff is ready. When are you coming to get it?]
Pei Yingjue looked at Su Yi, who was driving. “Is the celebration you mentioned after the gala?”
He had prepared something he wanted to give to Su Yi.
“Do you want to go on a date with me?” Su Yi suddenly asked.
“A date?” Pei Yingjue was surprised. They had been dating for nearly three months and lived together every night, but they had never actually gone out on a date. “Have you arranged everything?”
“Mhm,” Su Yi smiled. “I promise it will be a surprise.”
Since Su Yi intended to keep it a secret, Pei Yingjue did not press further and simply replied, “Alright.”
The two soon arrived at their destination. They were met by a foreign designer. After Su Yi exchanged a few words with him, the man left. In the empty room, Su Yi approached with a measuring tape. “I will measure you.”
Pei Yingjue raised an eyebrow, not expecting Su Yi to do this, but he raised his arms to let him proceed. Su Yi ran the tape across Pei Yingjue’s back. It felt itchy.
“Do not move. If the measurements are not right, the clothes will not fit,” Su Yi warned.
Pei Yingjue could only brace himself and endure it. But someone’s hands were not being honest. Measuring required closeness, and warm skin brushed against Pei Yingjue’s waist over and over.
“Are you actually measuring?” Pei Yingjue suddenly grabbed the mischievous hand.
Caught, Su Yi did not feel ashamed at all. Instead, he stood on his tiptoes to kiss the corner of Pei Yingjue’s mouth. “I am.”
He spoke airily, his breath fanning across Pei Yingjue’s face, dangerously hot. Pei Yingjue pinned Su Yi’s wrists, his gaze dark. “We are outside.”
“I know.”
Pei Yingjue had just breathed a sigh of relief when Su Yi continued. “But I just sent them away.” Su Yi blew a breath toward him. “Do you not want to try it outside?”
Before he could finish, Pei Yingjue covered Su Yi’s mouth. “Why are you always like this? No shame.”
It sounded like a reprimand, yet the tone was gentle. Su Yi blinked. If I do not eat now, I will not get to later.
Su Yi slowly crouched down, resting his hands on Pei Yingjue’s hips, his eyes gradually turning purple. “I will help you.”
“Su Yi!” Pei Yingjue’s eyelids jumped. He wanted to pull him up, but Su Yi had already buried his head.
Crazy. This was truly crazy. Pei Yingjue’s mind felt like it was exploding. He gripped Su Yi’s shoulders tightly, his gaze unable to shift away for a second. He was afraid Su Yi would be in pain or uncomfortable.
But Su Yi was not afraid. He even provocatively stuck out his tongue. In an instant, Pei Yingjue’s gaze darkened. Su Yi was too obedient in bed, too decadent. It naturally incited a desire for ravagement and control.
“Mmph.”
Su Yi swallowed hard, tears welling in his eyes as he looked up at Pei Yingjue. Those nearly falling tears almost drowned Pei Yingjue. He was about to push Su Yi away when he saw Su Yi curve his eyes and give him a tearful smile that said “more.”
Suddenly, a hand pressed down on Su Yi’s head. Pei Yingjue looked down, his eyes darker than ever.
“Mgh!”
Su Yi was choked into tears. But in his heart, he was happy. He still preferred his “food” to be a bit rough. It was more satisfying that way.
Pei Yingjue watched as Su Yi worked harder and became more immersed, as if he had forgotten Pei Yingjue’s presence entirely and was focusing solely on a favorite toy.
“Su Yi, look at me.”
Su Yi looked up, and Pei Yingjue pressed down hard.
“Cough, cough!”
The boy suddenly turned his head, coughing violently. Pei Yingjue immediately realized what he had done and bent down to check. “Spit it out!”
But Su Yi kept his head turned. Pei Yingjue frowned and pinched Su Yi’s chin to turn it. His bright red lips were forced open, but nothing was left. It was clean, without a trace of filth.
“Very delicious.”
Su Yi licked his lips, his small tongue sweeping over the red surface, leaving a tantalizing trail of moisture.
With a bang, something exploded. The world spun as Su Yi was pinned to the floor. Before his teeth could close, they were pried open. Pei Yingjue held him down firmly against the red silk, a kiss filled with a raw edge, plundering Su Yi’s air like a storm.
They were tangled in a kiss. Pei Yingjue felt as if he were being pulled by Su Yi into a bottomless abyss. Looking at those beautiful eyes, a terrifying thought surfaced. As long as he could be with Su Yi forever, he would do anything.
Truly crazy.
Knock, knock, knock.
“Su, are you finished?” came a voice in broken English from outside.
Su Yi pushed Pei Yingjue away abruptly, gasping for air. Pei Yingjue’s dark eyes narrowed as he pressed back in, but Su Yi quickly reached out to cover his mouth.
“Wait, be good?” Su Yi said breathlessly.
Pei Yingjue just stared at him silently, his dark eyes swirling with desire. Su Yi did not have time to manage him and quickly shouted to the outside, “Just a moment!”
The moment he spoke, Pei Yingjue forced himself on top of him again. Before Su Yi could hear the outsider’s response, he was forced to hear the shameful sounds of their own wet encounter.
A long time later, Su Yi lay powerless on the floor, his eyes dazed and his collar open, revealing glimpses of his collarbone still marked with hickeys from days before. He looked at the ceiling, feeling as if his bones had been soaked in wine.
Su Yi was a “carpe diem” type. Since he had decided to break up with Pei Yingjue, he had to get his fill of “food” before they parted. A “grand feast” like Pei Yingjue was rare. If he missed it, who knew how long it would be before he found another?
Of course, he could not “eat” anymore right now.
“Baby, endure it for a bit,” Su Yi laughed softly. He pressed two fingers to his own lips and then pressed them against the corner of Pei Yingjue’s. “We will continue when we get back.”
Su Yi laughed frankly and freely, already moving to get up. Pei Yingjue frowned slightly. Can this person always detach himself so quickly?
He suddenly reached out and pinned Su Yi back down. Su Yi froze. He looked at the hand on his chest in surprise and then looked up at Pei Yingjue with a raised eyebrow. “What is it?”
“It is not fair.”
Pei Yingjue’s dark gaze drifted downward. Su Yi blinked and laughed. “It is fair. You are hard and I am hard too, right, baby? Mmph!”
Before he could finish, Pei Yingjue’s hand slid into Su Yi’s collar. Su Yi jerked. He grabbed Pei Yingjue’s hand. “We agreed to wait until we get back.”
“I did not agree.”
Pei Yingjue responded as usual, his fingers continuing their own path. Su Yi’s eyes reddened instantly. He wanted to push the hand away, but the man’s strength was immense. Not only did he fail to move it, but he ended up being “eaten” several times over because of the friction.
His waist went soft instantly, and he slumped back, his body curling slightly as he looked at Pei Yingjue with unwilling eyes. When did this man discover that he could not stand this kind of teasing? Where did the well-behaved and considerate Pei Yingjue go?
Seeing the person beneath him finally lose his composed expression, forced to bite his lip and let out unavoidable moans of distress, a different thought occurred to Pei Yingjue. He wanted to see more of Su Yi. The real, fragile, beautiful, complete Su Yi.
His palm slid lower until it pressed against the flat abdomen. Su Yi’s body stiffened. Then, the large hand pressed down.
“Pei Yingjue!”
Su Yi’s body jumped like a fish, and tears began to fall. A succubus’s belly was extremely sensitive. When did this damn human find out!
Pei Yingjue froze for a moment. His gaze drifted down, and seeing the obvious dark dampness, he raised an eyebrow. So sensitive. He seemed to be understanding Su Yi more and more.
“Get lost.”
Su Yi slapped his hand away and tried to get up. Pei Yingjue immediately reacted and pulled him into a hug. Su Yi tried to hit him but could not move.
“Very cute,” Pei Yingjue said as he held him. “Now we are even.”
Su Yi leaned powerlessly against Pei Yingjue’s chest, glancing at him sideways. A man who used to blush just from a confession could now say such things without a change in expression. His adaptability was too strong, and his bottom line was nowhere near as high as it appeared.
It was as if his principles were merely a facade built to suppress something. Having read many people over the years, an alarm bell rang in Su Yi’s heart. To break up with someone like this, he would need an ironclad reason. He did not want to be caught and dragged back.
“What is wrong?” Seeing him silent, Pei Yingjue leaned in to kiss and coax him. “You are really cute and beautiful.”
Su Yi gave him a look, then suddenly leaned in and whispered into his ear, bringing up the night’s “activities” in broad daylight to entice him. In an instant, Pei Yingjue’s gaze changed. He looked at Su Yi deeply, only for the other to give him a triumphant smile. “You said we are even. Let us continue measuring.”
With that, Su Yi quickly escaped. Pei Yingjue looked up to see him slowly buttoning his shirt, even finding the time to peek at him. His gaze was incredibly innocent. Pei Yingjue narrowed his eyes, studying him for a moment before standing up as well.
Because of the promise for the evening, the rest of the measuring was much more professional. In less than half an hour, they gave the data to the designer. Su Yi made up an excuse and bought the room, then they left.
The moment they entered the house, Su Yi was pressed into the bathroom, clothes scattered all over the floor.
“What is the rush? You did not even ask which style I finally chose,” Su Yi asked from behind the door. He had chosen the styles while wrapped in a coat, not letting Pei Yingjue see.
Pei Yingjue tried to squeeze into the bathroom, but Su Yi’s arm was between them. He could only distract himself to answer, “I will like it.”
“You say you like it without even seeing it?” Su Yi glared at him. “I want you to wear that to meet my parents.”
Pei Yingjue had not dressed very well at Su Yi’s birthday party last time. This time, he had to leave a good impression on Su’s parents to show them that even without their help, Pei Yingjue was doing well.
Pei Yingjue’s gaze darkened further.
“First as a friend, then as a boyfriend, how does that sound?” Su Yi pressed his advantage. “Pei Yingjue, I want everyone to know you are mine.”
