- The Master Possessed An Innate Charm, Irresistibly Seducing His Young Disciple
- Chapter 8 - Another Flare Up
This would not do. Two men sharing one quilt in the middle of the night and hugging each other was not proper decorum. Li Sichen rejected the idea resolutely.
“That, Master, I think I should go out and” sleep.
The last word remained stuck in Li Sichen’s throat, feeling more uncomfortable than a fishbone. He never expected Yu Huaixin to hug him so suddenly. The only thing he was certain of was that his body temperature was skyrocketing at an abnormal rate. It was more intoxicating than drinking two liters of strong liquor.
Yu Huaixin’s hug was light and gentle, as if he were afraid of breaking a precious treasure. He embraced Li Sichen with immense tenderness, and his voice sounded cautious as he whispered in his ear, “Xiao Chen, Master was wrong. Do not be angry with Master. Do not be angry with me.”
Li Sichen’s mind was already unclear, and with Yu Huaixin’s whispering, he felt his brain turn into a complete mess. His body felt as light as air. He had to admit that Yu Huaixin’s embrace was wonderful. His waist was so slender that Li Sichen could wrap his arms around it completely. Breathing in the unique and faint sweet scent, like some kind of fruit radiating from his chest, Li Sichen felt as though he were sinking into the embrace entirely.
Li Sichen had good self control, but Yu Huaixin’s allure was not weak. In a situation like this, even a god would not be able to resist. Li Sichen let out a trembling breath and inhaled nervously for fear that Yu Huaixin would notice his abnormality. “Master, I am not angry. You, let go first.”
As soon as he spoke, Yu Huaixin held him even tighter.
“Xiao Chen, I did not want to hide it from you. It is just that this matter is significant, and I was afraid you would not be able to accept it. After all, a status like mine would only be a disgrace to you.”
Hearing Yu Huaixin talk about himself this way made Li Sichen feel very uncomfortable. The images of Yu Huaixin being humiliated in the past replayed in his mind. Every time he remembered them, Li Sichen felt nauseated. The reason Yu Huaixin suffered all of that was solely because of that status.
“Master is not a disgrace! There is nothing wrong with your status! In the future, if anyone dares to say a single bad word about it, I will definitely teach them a lesson for you!”
Li Sichen spoke with determination as if making a solemn vow. Yu Huaixin met his gaze, and the color in his eyes grew even softer.
“Xiao Chen.”
“Master, I will definitely protect you. With me here, you have nothing to fear.”
Yu Huaixin looked moved and embraced Li Sichen once again. “With those words from Xiao Chen, Master has nothing to fear.”
Strangely enough, Yu Huaixin seemed to possess a magical power that attracted Li Sichen. Never in his life had Li Sichen wanted to protect someone at all costs like this. At first, he convinced himself it was just pity or helping someone in need, but gradually, that reason seemed less sustainable.
After talking some more, Yu Huaixin smiled and forced Li Sichen onto the bed to sleep while holding him. Li Sichen was so nervous he broke into a sweat. In the limited space, their bodies were pressed tightly together, and their breaths occasionally intertwined. Li Sichen’s heart felt like it was going to jump out of his throat.
However, the kindhearted Yu Huaixin seemed completely oblivious. He kept his eyes closed with a slight curve at the corners of his lips and appeared to be in a very good mood. That was not the most lethal part. The worst part was that Yu Huaixin’s pure white collar was open, revealing most of his snow white neck and shoulders, which rose and fell with his breathing and caused Li Sichen’s heart to race.
In his memories, Yu Huaixin was always dressed neatly and meticulously, even when alone. Although he was amiable, he was of noble character and cared deeply about his image. He would never be this casual. If Li Sichen did not have an omniscient perspective, it would be hard to believe this was the same person.
Despite his doubts, Li Sichen did not ask further for the time being. He simply lightened his breathing as much as possible and did not move. It was only after a long time, when Yu Huaixin seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep, that he dared to move his arm gently and slide off the bed. Leaving Yu Huaixin’s embrace felt like being born again, and he finally dared to breathe deeply.
Xiao Lan ridiculed Li Sichen for his cowardice while urging him to take the blood. After all, such a great opportunity might not come again for a long time. Li Sichen held the short sword, which glinted coldly, and approached Yu Huaixin’s arm, but he simply could not bring himself to do it.
Then, a familiar dream arrived. Yu Huaixin was shaking uncontrollably with his sanity torn into thousands of pieces. Blood was everywhere. As far as the eye could see, there were man eating demons tearing him apart. Was this hell? Hell was not even a fraction of this.
“Ngh!”
Li Sichen did not expect Yu Huaixin to sit up suddenly. Without warning, the short sword pierced Yu Huaixin’s flawless forearm. Red blood flowed out immediately, staining the bedsheets and dripping onto the floor. Li Sichen was stunned by the accident. He quickly dropped the short sword and turned to search the room for healing medicine, forgetting that his current status gave him the ability to heal ordinary wounds.
For a brief moment, Yu Huaixin said nothing. The last image frozen in his mind was of himself escaping a death trap, only to find his disciple pointing a blade at him. What did he want to do? Kill him? It certainly seemed like something he would do. But why? After all these years, in what way had Yu Huaixin ever wronged him? Why did he hate him so much?
Yu Huaixin watched Li Sichen’s busy back. He sat up from the bed and stepped barefoot into the pool of blood on the floor. He walked toward Li Sichen step by step as the wound on his arm healed itself. While Li Sichen was completely off guard, Yu Huaixin leaned over and hugged him from behind.
The sudden proximity of his scent made Li Sichen’s breath hitch, and his body froze.
“Master?”
Li Sichen could clearly feel that the current Yu Huaixin was different from before. The atmosphere was indescribably eerie. Then, the person behind him slowly wrapped his hands around his neck, and his hot breath lingered near his ear. Li Sichen turned his head slightly and saw that Yu Huaixin’s eyes were closed and his face was filled with suppressed pain.
Li Sichen’s heart sank to the bottom. Falling Nether was flaring up again at a time like this. What was he supposed to do? Was he going to have to repeat what he did before? But that was not a solution.
“Xiao Chen, bind Master’s hands. I cannot endure it.” He could not control the repeated harm he was causing himself, so he needed Li Sichen’s intervention.
These words gave Li Sichen a fright. Did he remember what happened last night?
