- The Junior Sister Isn't Flirtatious At All; It's All Their Fault for Being Too Seductive
- Chapter 65 - Sister, You’re Working So Hard
Jiang Luoyue looked up and took the initiative to kiss Lin Xi. He hadn’t expected her to be so bold, and he felt a flush of shyness; after all, beneath his regal title, he was still just a pure-hearted little fox.
“Luoyue, are you willing…” Lin Xi’s fox ears twitched nervously.
Curious, Jiang Luoyue reached out to touch them. “Your ears seem to be getting quite hot.”
“So what if they are…” Lin Xi murmured. He cupped the back of her head and pulled her into a deep kiss, and the two of them tumbled onto the bed.
Since it was Lin Xi’s first time, he was inevitably clumsy and accidentally hurt her. Not wanting to stop, he tried to comfort her by stuffing his fluffy tail into her arms.
“Stroke the tail… stroke the tail and it won’t hurt so much,” he coaxed in a low, breathless voice.
Jiang Luoyue found it quite bearable. Being with a fox feels rather different, she thought to herself.
The next morning, Jiang Luoyue woke up in Lin Xi’s embrace.
“You’re awake?” Lin Xi was beaming, the tufts of fur on the tips of his ears quivering with joy.
“Mhm. Turn into a fox,” Jiang Luoyue said lazily.
Lin Xi was puzzled—was his human form not handsome enough? Nevertheless, he obediently transformed into his small fox form and let out a soft, compliant yip. Jiang Luoyue pulled him into her arms and gave him a thorough “cleaning.”
“The little fox smells so good,” she noted.
Lin Xi turned his head away bashfully. After a fox mates, they emit a rich, distinct scent. Although Jiang Luoyue didn’t know the reason, Lin Xi felt embarrassed nonetheless.
“We should head to the Dongyue Sect today, shouldn’t we?” Lin Xi asked.
“Mhm.” Jiang Luoyue nodded. Thinking about it, she really had been busy lately. She couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
“Don’t want to go? We don’t have to. We could just stay here in the Demon Realm; my place is wonderful,” Lin Xi suggested, nuzzling his head into the crook of her neck. His voice softened into a coaxing whine.
“Of course we have to go,” Jiang Luoyue replied, patting his furry head. “Now, get up.”
Just then, Wenwu and Wenqing arrived to discuss business with Lin Xi. They were greeted by the sight of their master being happily rubbed like a pet by Jiang Luoyue, a look of sheer bliss on his fox face. Lin Xi immediately swept them with a chilling, sharp gaze.
Jiang Luoyue patted his head again. “Go handle your affairs. I’ll tell Senior Brother Li and Luoxing to pack their things.”
Lin Xi jumped down, shifted back into his human form, and gave Jiang Luoyue a lingering, reluctant hug. “I’ll be back soon.”
They traveled day and night, finally arriving at the Dongyue Sect three days later. Yue Wenqiu was already there waiting for them.
“Didn’t you say you were busy?” Lin Xi grumbled, annoyed to see Wenqiu waiting at the gate.
Yue Wenqiu frowned, confused by the fox’s overt jealousy. “I’ve been exhausted for a long time; the elders ordered me to rest.” He turned his eyes toward Jiang Luoyue, his tone tinged with a hint of piteousness. “Luoyue…”
“Everyone must be tired from the journey. I have arranged your quarters; please rest first,” said Uncle Chen, the Yue family’s butler.
Jiang Luoyue took Yue Wenqiu’s hand. “Ah, I’m so tired. I need to rest for a bit.”
Jiang Luoxing, Li Changting, Lin Xi, and the little Xuanwu, Fuxia, were led away by Uncle Chen.
“Is Sister not staying with us?” Fuxia asked, tilting its head in confusion.
“Junior Sister likely has things to discuss with Young Master Yue,” Li Changting explained.
Fuxia looked at them curiously. Jiang Luoxing and Lin Xi were practically radiating the sour scent of vinegar, while Li Changting’s voice was flat, though his eyes were filled with hidden sorrow.
Fuxia shook its little head. Sister is working so hard, having to coax so many people. I should be well-behaved so she doesn’t have to worry about me.
Having not seen Yue Wenqiu for a long time, Jiang Luoyue was naturally more affectionate, and he stayed with her for quite a while. Nestled in his arms, she suddenly burst out laughing. “I really am a terrible person.”
“Why would you say that about yourself?” Wenqiu asked, puzzled.
“You’re already so tired, yet I only think of my own pleasure,” she laughed.
Yue Wenqiu smiled gently and kissed her forehead. “It’s alright, I’m not that tired. Your cultivation…”
He realized her cultivation was now above his own. Knowing that dual cultivation accelerated progress, his heart sank slightly. It seemed that during his absence, Jiang Luoyue had gotten along very well with the others.
“Oh, I have to tell you—the little turtle is actually a Xuanwu! The last Divine Beast in the world,” Jiang Luoyue said excitedly. She recounted everything that happened in the Secret Realm while he listened intently to her chatter.
“I didn’t expect such a wondrous encounter. It’s a pity I wasn’t there to witness it,” Wenqiu said with a trace of regret.
Jiang Luoyue looked up and saw the fatigue in his eyes. “I’ve been talking about myself this whole time. How are your affairs going?”
“The number of missing cultivators is increasing,” Yue Wenqiu’s expression darkened.
“Any leads?”
“There are some, but…” Yue Wenqiu sighed. “At first, I thought they were taken by the Demonic Tribe, but we discovered an aura that is similar to demonic energy yet distinctly different.”
The peace between the Immortal, Demonic, and Demon tribes was hard-won. If the Demonic Tribe was disrupting this balance, it was unclear what they sought. But this second, mysterious aura—where it came from and why it was working with the Demonic Tribe—was a far more troubling mystery.
Jiang Luoyue hadn’t expected the situation to be so grave.
