The Gloomy Overseas Student Rewards His Hubby With Some Thirst Traps - Chapter 44
Chapter 44
Clunk.
A bottle of energy drink and a bottle of Coke dropped from the vending machine.
Yu Yanshuang was carrying the two drinks toward the locker room when he heard the football team members inside making a ruckus.
“Holy crap, thank god I was quick. That Chinese guy told Sein to fetch the ball, and I ran for it immediately. How could Sein ever do something like fetching balls? They would have started a fight otherwise. But Sein kept glaring at me… was I too slow?”
“Duh! Yu gave the order, and you only moved after he spoke. Sein probably thinks we don’t respect his friend.”
“But when we said hi to him just now, he didn’t even smile!”
Yu Yanshuang was puzzled. When he had come out of the locker room and run into them, hadn’t he looked at them? He had nodded in acknowledgment, but once they took off their football gear, Sein’s teammates looked like different people—less heroic and bulky. He didn’t know which player was which, and with so many of them, he simply hadn’t known how to respond.
“Even when Sein talks to him, he acts all cold and indifferent. Besides, you look so lame…”
Next came the sound of playful scuffling and the clang-clang of metal doors being bumped. When Yu Yanshuang walked past the iron door outside the locker room, he noticed the metal was actually dented.
Yu Yanshuang: “…”
Sometimes he didn’t know how he managed to endure Sein. Sein was much stronger than those two guys just now. It wasn’t just about having more muscle; because his proportions were so good, the right amount of muscle combined with his oppressive height gave him an aura of explosive power and agile athleticism.
When Yu Yanshuang entered the locker room sipping his soda and carrying the energy drink Sein had requested, Sein happened to be coming out of the shower wearing athletic lounge shorts and drying his hair. When he exerted force with his arms, his muscles looked extremely elastic, with the steam clinging to them like a layer of shimmering light.
Yu Yanshuang snorted coldly. He would willingly trade 10cm of height for Sein’s physique. And… maybe a bit of his “size” while he was at it.
Sein specifically walked around the long bench in the lounge to stand in front of Yu Yanshuang. He asked curiously, “Why aren’t you looking at me?”
As the cedar-scented body wash wafted over him along with a full view of Sein’s chest muscles, Yu Yanshuang tried to act composed. “You’re not a beauty; why should I look at you?”
Sein twisted open the energy drink and gave a fake smile. “What, I’ve already fucked you into a mess, and you’re still thinking about finding a wife?”
Yu Yanshuang jumped in shock, hurriedly looking around. Seeing no one there, he breathed a huge sigh of relief. He looked like he was at his wit’s end with Sein, complaining in a tiny voice: “You clearly promised to be more restrained in public.”
“Then can I bully you as much as I want tonight?” Sein laughed low, leaning in closer. “This is my private locker room. We could even do it right here.”
Unable to take it anymore, Yu Yanshuang kicked Sein’s shin. It was a hard kick, and Sein frowned slightly, but couldn’t help asking: “Was playing kickoff fun?”
Yu Yanshuang bit the edge of his soda can and evaluated: “It was alright.”
Sein took a large gulp of his drink, grabbed his waistband, and started pulling it down. Yu Yanshuang was startled and took a big step back. “It was fun! What are you doing?!”
Sein turned his head, his gray eyes glinting as he fished a pair of black casual pants out of the locker. “Just changing.” He pressed further: “Really? If I go fetch the ball next time, will you reward me tonight?”
Yu Yanshuang’s eyes instinctively drifted away from Sein’s exposed, sturdy thighs. “Keep dreaming. Wouldn’t you feel you’d lost face if you did that?” Yu Yanshuang was curious about Sein’s bottom line.
He hadn’t been able to see Sein’s face when he gave that order earlier, so he wasn’t sure if Sein was actually angry. If he wasn’t, could he be even ruder to him?
Sein said meaningfully, “I’ll tell you after you voluntarily come to get fucked tonight.”
Yu Yanshuang snapped, “Then don’t tell me! That day will never come!”
…
Yu Yanshuang firmly rejected Sein’s invitation to take a nap at his dormitory. Even though Sein emphasized he had to leave campus in the afternoon, Yu Yanshuang still wouldn’t budge. Who knew if Sein would suddenly come back mid-nap and catch him while he was groggy for another round?
That’s exactly what happened this morning. It was very late by the time they got back to school from Vegas. Sein had coaxed and promised not to do it again to get him into the dorm, but when his pants were stripped off in the morning, Sein had argued righteously that “yesterday’s promise doesn’t count for today.”
When he got back to his own dorm, Yu Yanshuang saw Garcia. Garcia looked like he had been wrung dry, lying on the bed with only his eyes moving. He said weakly, “Yu, I’ve looked into it for you. There’s a way to shake off Sein.”
Yu Yanshuang tossed his backpack on the desk and asked curiously, “Wait, why do you look like that? Did you find another sugar daddy?”
Thinking of the disrespectful sugar daddies Garcia had mentioned before made Yu Yanshuang feel a bit gloomy. Even if they weren’t exactly “friends,” Garcia had helped him so much. Yu Yanshuang vowed he wouldn’t forgive Garcia’s betrayal—they weren’t friends, but they could be partners.
Garcia shook his head. “No, my first love happened to be in Vegas. Why aren’t you asking about the method?” He sat up suspiciously, looking Yu Yanshuang up and down. “You haven’t actually started dating Sein, have you?”
“Of course not! Tell me, what’s the way?” Yu Yanshuang dragged a chair over, sat across it with his chin resting on the back, and asked curiously.
Although Garcia’s plan to act like a perfect sugar baby so Sein would get bored had failed, having Sein act as his lackey was actually quite fun. Since they had done it so many times, Yu Yanshuang had almost resigned himself to the physical relationship.
Garcia acted like he had a brilliant idea: “Just tell Sein that you ‘clash roles’ (Zhuang Hao)!”
“Clash roles?” Yu Yanshuang didn’t quite understand. He had only looked up what homophobic straight men feared most to threaten Sein before, so he knew some terms, but he was still ignorant about most of them.
Garcia chuckled. “It means you’re both ‘Tops’! I have a friend who’s a player; he once had no choice but to give up on a straight guy he’d turned gay because of that.”
Yu Yanshuang’s eyes lit up. “Really!?” A moment later, he realized it was useless. He was already the one on the bottom… claiming to be a Top would only result in being pushed deeper.
Garcia saw Yu Yanshuang go from joy to disappointment in a second and asked, “What’s wrong? Are you afraid you can’t overpower Sein? Just stick to your story; Sein wouldn’t resort to forcing you.”
“…” He already forced me…
Yu Yanshuang gave an awkward smile and changed the subject. “Okay, I’ll try it. By the way, do you know that after I did the kickoff for Sein’s team today, everyone I passed on campus said ‘Cool!’ to me?”
“Huh? Sein took you to play football? It seems he really wants to pursue you… even using his team to make you happy. But people are probably praising you because of your racing video. It’s gone viral across campus. Our former star senior Chu Siqing posted a video of you driving on Facebook.”
Yu Yanshuang’s eyes widened. “What?”
Garcia quickly pulled out his phone, opened Chu Siqing’s Facebook account, and showed it to Yu Yanshuang. Yu Yanshuang was shocked. Chu Siqing had said he hadn’t filmed it, but he had actually pulled the surveillance footage from the racetrack and posted the video of Yu’s maneuvers.
It already had nearly a million likes—he was famous! He clicked on the comments; they were all praising him for being handsome and cool. Although the surveillance footage was blurry, Yu Yanshuang’s face was still visible. People weren’t just praising his skills; there were tons of comments about how handsome his face was.
But after it went viral, some people analyzed that he was the nephew of Chu Siqing’s partner—Sein’s “friend.” Since Ash and Chu Siqing were a Westerner-Chinese pairing and Sein and Yu Yanshuang were the same, people couldn’t help but suspect they were a couple.
Yu Yanshuang felt guilty reading it and quickly scrolled past those guesses, specifically picking the comments praising his looks to read carefully. Someone was asking if this was Chu Siqing’s new recruit. Chu Siqing replied: No, just here for fun.
Many people expressed regret and were curious why he didn’t race professionally, asking for Yu Yanshuang’s Facebook handle to follow him.
Garcia mentioned, “Yu, why don’t you use Facebook? You should register an account. If you start now while the hype is high, you can make a lot of money from ads.” He casually quoted a price: “If you get as many followers as Chu Siqing, a single ad could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s way easier than when we tried to scam Rodney.”
Yu Yanshuang was stunned. That much money? And it was completely legal. He wouldn’t have to worry about Sein suing him to get the money back once the contract ended. He could even secretly save it in his “private fund” card. The funds in there were entirely earned through his own wit—like the nearly $100,000 he made from selling Sein’s photos. Wait, that “sugar daddy” buyer hasn’t contacted me lately?
Yu Yanshuang thought about it for a second then immediately said, “Then I want to register!” So many people were calling him handsome and skilled. But… Yu Yanshuang hesitated. “I see many people want a tutorial on that maneuver. I don’t want to teach them.”
Garcia was curious. “Why? A tutorial video is the best way to ride this viral wave.”
Yu Yanshuang pursed his lips. This was his own secret for looking cool. If he taught everyone, how could he stand out? Unless someone figured it out themselves, he wasn’t going to help someone be cooler than him!
“Never mind that. Are there other ways to grow an account?” Yu Yanshuang asked with blinking eyes.
Whenever Yu Yanshuang acted like this, Garcia felt defenseless. A beautiful, delicate person looking at him with such expectation… Garcia originally wanted him to be a racing influencer, but since Yu refused, he had to offer something else.
Garcia said, “How about… we film ‘outfit transformation’ videos? Actually, I… ahem, you’re so good-looking that I’ve already designed several sets of clothes for you. Don’t misunderstand.” Garcia tried hard to hide his little ulterior motives. If Yu Yanshuang knew, he’d definitely stop talking to him.
Yu Yanshuang’s lips curved up as if he understood perfectly. “I know, I know. Back then… my relative always loved dressing me up, saying I looked good in everything!”
Back then, Yu Yanshuang didn’t know his adoptive mother’s true intentions. Suddenly, she had become very strict with him—he couldn’t eat his favorite foods, had to eat what he hated, and even his hobbies and clothing were restricted. At the time, he thought she was training him to be a qualified successor to the Yu family—to hide his emotions, keep people guessing about his likes, and dress in somber clothes to look like an adult.
Only later did he realize she knew he wasn’t the biological son of the Yu family, and she hated him for living well while her own son was suffering somewhere unknown. But by then, Yu Yanshuang didn’t care about the Yu family anymore; he was terrified of them. Yu Chenzhou had chased him like a madman, leaving him no time to ponder anything else.
Garcia felt more relaxed. “Then let’s go! I’ve already made several outfits. I know a few places in Chicago with great scenery!”
…
Yu Yanshuang drove the Dodge out with Garcia. Following Garcia’s directions, they arrived at the Chicago Theatre. On the way, Garcia told him they were going to film a vintage-style transformation video.
As they were getting out, Yu Yanshuang looked at the car’s dashcam and suddenly remembered he hadn’t shown off his high-level cornering video yet!
He cleared his throat. “I have a pretty good racing video. Do you know how to edit? Help me post it.” Yu Yanshuang was a total novice with social media, so he looked at Garcia expectantly.
The defenseless Garcia said immediately, “Sure, I’m great at editing. Where is it? Let me see it first to see if it’ll attract an audience.”
Yu Yanshuang excitedly opened the dashcam. The Dodge was an old model without a large screen, just a small display on the rearview mirror. Yu Yanshuang started the playback.
Starting from the recently recorded exterior of the Chicago Theatre, the video rewound at 4x speed past the U-Chicago dorms. Scenes flickered by until it reached that night. Outside it was pitch black, with only the streetlights shaking continuously.
The only way the camera could shake like that was if the car itself was rocking. It was shaking violently. After all, Sein had installed very expensive shock absorbers on this car.
Garcia understood what was happening in a split second. He didn’t even have time to look away and pretend he didn’t know, because the car continued to shake for several minutes of the rewind. He tried to pull out his phone, frantically opening and closing apps, but when he looked up, the video was still shaking!
Dead silence filled the Dodge.
Yu Yanshuang scrambled to block the screen and tried to fast-forward, but instead, he accidentally hit play from the beginning of that scene.
“…”
Yu Yanshuang had completely forgotten about this part. He only remembered how cool he looked taking the turns; he forgot how “hard” he had been taken.
Garcia, who had experienced his share of “car-shaking” moments, tried to break the silence. He struggled to sound innocent and asked, “What is happening here?”
Yu Yanshuang bit his finger, looked at Garcia, then frantically looked away. He racked his brain, and finally, he said with difficulty: “This is actually… a way to test the effectiveness of the car’s shock absorbers…”
Garcia smiled. He couldn’t keep the act up anymore and said with pained sincerity: “Yu, it’s very obvious that you and Sein were doing it.”
