The Ex-Wife of the Scumbag A Who Abandoned the Female Lead - Chapter 18
Shi Nuocen stood with her arms crossed, not getting into the car, her eyes quietly appraising Ru Xi Cheng.
Noticing this, Ru Xi Cheng gave an ambiguous smile. “Don’t look at me like that. It’s not like I’m going to eat you.” Yet the fingers resting on her lap trembled slightly.
Shi Nuocen also curved her lips into a faint smile, her gaze drifting from Ru Xi Cheng’s mouth to other places. “You might not be able to eat me openly, but you could use other methods.”
Hearing this, Ru Xi Cheng realized she had been caught and dropped the act, speaking directly yet subtly, “Get in the car. I need you right now.”
Shi Nuocen raised an eyebrow, thinking. So, it really wasn’t my imagination.
As the car door closed, a rich Omega pheromone filled the air. The floral scent no longer as sour as yesterday but now tinged with a sweet and tangy note.
Her ex-wife’s hand slowly slid onto her shoulder, accompanied by a suggestive whisper, “I listened to you and deliberately wore a long skirt.”
The remark felt rather explicit. After a moment of slight shock, Shi Nuocen tilted her head and boldly studied Ru Xi Cheng’s features, saying, “Needy again so soon? I’m having a hard time believing it.”
Ru Xi Cheng couldn’t help feeling secretly annoyed. After being empty for so long, one bite was hardly enough.
She didn’t want to be like this, but her body had its own demands. She could only lean into Shi Nuocen’s embrace, closing her eyes in embarrassment. “If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.”
Shi Nuocen gently brushed aside the hair at the nape of Ru Xi Cheng’s neck with her pale fingers and glanced down—the evidence was indeed unmistakable.
But did she have to satisfy her ex-wife’s needs immediately just because they arose? True, there was a contract, but it didn’t override either party’s will.
So she withdrew her fingers, leaned back, and half-closed her eyes, saying, “But I’m not very happy right now. You’ll have to cheer me up first.”
Ru Xi Cheng’s first thought was that Shi Nuocen wanted her to go shopping together, but she quickly dismissed the idea. Though Shi Nuocen was headstrong, she wouldn’t be so unreasonable, especially under the current circumstances.
That left only one possibility.
Ru Xi Cheng shot her a reproachful glance, suppressing her shyness as she propped herself up slightly and began kissing Shi Nuocen’s face, starting from the forehead and moving slowly down her cheeks. As she moved, a strand of long hair fell forward, obscuring her vision, so she caught it between her teeth.
“Are you happy now?”
“Passable.”
Shi Nuocen’s reply was half-hearted. Under Ru Xi Cheng’s bashful yet indignant gaze, she pulled her into an embrace, releasing her own wine-scented pheromones to gently envelop her. As her ex-wife’s eyes grew increasingly dazed and intoxicated, Shi Nuocen gave her what she wanted.
About an hour later, her ex-wife straightened her crumpled long skirt, found the sunglasses that had fallen to the floor, and with trembling fingers, placed them on the bridge of her nose. Breathing unsteadily, she stepped out of the car, holding a sun parasol.
Shi Nuocen reached out to support her. “Are you okay? If it’s too much, we can wait another half hour.”
“I’m fine, perfectly fine,” Ru Xi Cheng insisted stubbornly, though her trembling calves beneath the skirt betrayed her words.
Shi Nuocen stifled a laugh and, taking Ru Xi Cheng by surprise, bent down, scooped up her pale legs, and lifted her into a bridal carry.
Ru Xi Cheng gasped softly, covering her chest, and tried to wriggle free the next second.
But Shi Nuocen spun around twice, leaned close to her ear, and whispered, “We’re already attracting enough attention. If you don’t want to be recognized, stay put in my arms.”
Ru Xi Cheng gritted her teeth in frustration, but feeling the subtle gazes gathering around them, she could only bury her face against her chest, the tips of her ears flushing a deep, blood-red.
To her surprise, Shi Nuocen then traced a fingertip along her trembling calf and asked with feigned confusion, “Huh? I only played with it a little to make you happy. Could the side effects really be this severe?”
At this, Ru Xi Cheng’s cheeks flushed crimson as well. She thought to herself, there was no way she could admit it was due to excessive pleasure and oversensitivity that would be far too embarrassing.
“By the way, your skirt is still a bit wrinkled. You should keep an extra one on hand next time,” Shi Nuocen remarked casually, standing still.
Ru Xi Cheng felt as if she were about to combust, especially with the increasing number of eyes on them. Muffling her voice, she urged, “Are you going or not?”
Shi Nuocen chuckled softly and started walking toward the mall, only to pause abruptly and say in a strange tone, “Hey, don’t bury your head so deep. It’s making me a bit uncomfortable.”
Ru Xi Cheng, realizing exactly where her head was positioned, felt a wave of heat wash over her, as if her entire body had been cooked through.
“Then just let me go!” The ex-wife seemed provoked by the comment and struggled to free herself from the embrace.
Shi Nuocen nearly lost her grip but managed to soothe her with a few quick words, successfully carrying her ex-wife into the mall.
Ru Xi Cheng had assumed they would head straight to the ready-to-wear section, but instead, they stopped in front of an internationally renowned lingerie boutique. Glancing sideways at the array of bras and panties on display, even the most composed person would feel flustered.
The shop assistant was visibly surprised by their intimate posture.
After setting her ex-wife down, Shi Nuocen began browsing the dozens of clothing racks and walls lined with lingerie, her expression completely unfazed.
Ru Xi Cheng walked over uncomfortably, her peripheral vision catching the delicate, sheer lace triangle in Shi Nuocen’s hand. Her eyes stung as if burned, and she quickly averted her gaze. “Why did you come here?”
Shi Nuocen, however, admired the intricate lace pattern and replied naturally, “The first time we met, didn’t you say my taste had worsened? Besides, I really do need new lingerie. Hurry up and give me your opinion. How about this one?”
Ru Xi Cheng stiffly turned her neck to take a closer look. The dreamy purple panties featured long, thin straps on both ends, with the front and back panels intricately carved with entwined branches, twin flowers, and a blooming rose.
If Shi Nuocen wore them, the shape would perfectly outline.
At this thought, Ru Xi Cheng felt even hotter. She instinctively fanned her cheeks with her hand while her mind continued analyzing: the light purple would not only make her skin appear as smooth and fair as jade but was also said to be a color that easily stirred desire.
All things considered, this piece was indeed appealing; bold in design and fitting for Nuocen’s personality. There was just one problem: if Nuocen wore this with someone else.
The blush on Ru Xi Cheng’s face gradually faded, even turning somewhat pale.
Shi Nuocen watched her ex-wife’s expression shift through a range of emotions before settling into an unreadable calm. Though curious about her inner thoughts, shopping took priority, so she simply placed the lingerie in the shopping basket.
Noticing the action from the corner of her eye, Ru Xi Cheng couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh. “And who was it that just said they wanted my opinion?”
Shi Nuocen maintained a calm expression and said matter-of-factly, “It was me. I could tell you were quite satisfied. It was obvious from your expression. Was there really a need to ask?”
