- The Days and Nights of Being Targeted by a Flirtatious Senior Sister
- Chapter 7 - Feeding, The Puppy's Chivalry
Recently, Su Yang’s life had become exceptionally fulfilling.
She had carefully studied and compared her own jam-packed class schedule with Wen Yusheng’s, and subsequently formulated a “Perfect 24/7 Close-Guarding Plan.”
At seven o’clock in the morning, she would punctually appear downstairs at Wen Yusheng’s dormitory, carrying a steaming hot breakfast. Usually, it consisted of a cup of warm soy milk, a tea egg, and two meat buns. This was the best breakfast combination from the Sports Academy cafeteria, which she had discovered after extensive investigation.
Then, acting like a dutiful bodyguard, she would escort Wen Yusheng to the teaching building for her classes.
If their classes were in the same building, she would drop Wen Yusheng off at her classroom door before heading to her own. If they were in different buildings, she would still make sure Wen Yusheng arrived first, and then rush frantically toward her own classroom. On several occasions, she burst into the room just as the bell rang, only to be singled out and criticized by the teacher.
But Su Yang didn’t care at all.
In her eyes, the Senior’s safety stood above everything else.
When classes ended at noon, she would be the first to rush to the door of Wen Yusheng’s classroom, waiting for her so they could go eat together.
A University had several cafeterias. Most students from the School of Economics and Management went to the Second Cafeteria, where the dishes were exquisite, the environment was elegant, but the prices were relatively high. Meanwhile, students from the Sports Academy preferred the Third Cafeteria because the portions were large and hearty—enough to satisfy their massive energy consumption.
Su Yang used to be a die-hard fan of the Third Cafeteria.
But now, to accommodate Wen Yusheng, she had resolutely abandoned the braised pork and sweet and sour pork tenderloin of the Third Cafeteria to throw herself into the embrace of the Second Cafeteria.
In the beginning, Wen Yusheng tried to persuade her otherwise.
“Junior, you don’t have to accompany me to the Second Cafeteria every day. I know you have a heavy training load; the food here might not be enough for you.” Wen Yusheng looked at the pitiful few strands of green vegetables and the small piece of chicken breast on Su Yang’s plate, feeling a bit distressed.
Su Yang, however, thumped her chest loudly. “Don’t worry, Senior! I’m full! Besides, the food in the Second Cafeteria is so healthy—low oil and low salt, perfect for staying in shape!”
Looking at that sincere face which practically screamed “I am very easy to raise,” Wen Yusheng ultimately said nothing more.
Only, from then on, every time she bought her meal, she would order an extra portion of meat and naturally dish it into Su Yang’s bowl.
“I can’t finish it, don’t let it go to waste,” she would always say.
Looking at the mountain of meat piled in her bowl, Su Yang was moved to tears in her heart.
Look at that, her Senior was just so kind and so thoughtful!
After finishing lunch, if there were no afternoon classes, Su Yang would accompany Wen Yusheng to the library.
While Wen Yusheng read, she would do her homework by her side. Although she couldn’t understand a single word of those profound financial theories, as long as she could sit quietly next to the Senior and watch her focused profile, Su Yang felt incredibly satisfied.
Sometimes, when she got tired of writing, she couldn’t help but doze off. By the time she woke up, there was always a thin cardigan draped over her.
It was the clothing Wen Yusheng usually kept in the library, carrying that pleasant, cold, woody fragrance that belonged to the Senior.
Su Yang would secretly bury her face in the clothes, take a deep breath, and feel all the exhaustion in her body being healed.
In the evening, after finishing her training, Su Yang would immediately run to find Wen Yusheng, have dinner with her, and then walk her back to the dormitory.
Twenty-four hours a day, except for sleeping and classes, Su Yang spent almost every moment glued to Wen Yusheng.
Her roommate and teammate, Zhao Jie, expressed intense confusion regarding this.
“Yangyang, what’s been going on with you lately? You’re hanging out with that Senior from Economics and Management every day, and you’re not even proactive about training anymore.” Zhao Jie complained while lifting dumbbells.
“Who says I’m not proactive!” Su Yang immediately retorted. “Didn’t I just break my record for the five-kilometer run today?”
“That’s because you were in a hurry to deliver food to someone, wasn’t it?” Zhao Jie pointed out sharply.
Su Yang’s face flushed as she argued stubbornly, “What do you know! I am executing a very important mission!”
“What mission? Being a lackey for a pretty Senior?”
“It’s guarding! Do you understand guarding!?” Su Yang corrected him righteously.
Zhao Jie rolled her eyes, too lazy to argue further.
She just felt that her simple-minded friend—who was like a blank sheet of paper—seemed to be getting played step-by-step by a high-level Senior.
Yet Su Yang herself was completely oblivious.
She was immersed in the role of the “Guardian” and was enjoying it immensely.
She discovered that while Senior Wen looked like an ethereal fairy who didn’t eat the food of mortals, she was a total “clueless novice” when it came to daily life.
She would get so absorbed in her books that she’d forget to eat, only remembering when her stomach started to ache.
She would stay up all night to rush a thesis, going to class the next day with two huge dark circles under her eyes.
She couldn’t even twist open a bottle cap, requiring Su Yang’s help every time she wanted a drink.
Looking at Wen Yusheng like this, Su Yang’s desire to protect her nearly overflowed.
The Senior was simply too thin.
At a height of 172cm, she probably weighed less than 90 pounds. Her wrists were so slender that Su Yang felt she could snap them with just a little bit of force.
No, I have to nourish the Senior properly.
Thus, a new item was added to Su Yang’s “Guarding Plan”: Feeding.
She began to bring Wen Yusheng food in a variety of ways.
In the morning, it was the nutritious breakfast from the Sports Academy.
At noon, besides accompanying her to the Second Cafeteria, she would extra-package a signature dish from the Third Cafeteria’s chef—such as soft, flavorful braised beef brisket or a fresh crucian carp and tofu soup.
In the afternoon, when Wen Yusheng went to the library, Su Yang would prepare sliced fruit boxes and a small portion of nuts in advance.
At night, if Wen Yusheng stayed up late for her thesis, Su Yang would time it perfectly to deliver a bowl of piping hot late-night snacks. Sometimes it was red date and millet porridge she cooked herself; other times, it was Cantonese desserts bought from outside.
Initially, Wen Yusheng refused.
“Junior, you don’t need to go to all this trouble. I can take care of myself.”
“Senior, how can this be called trouble! You are a high-priority protected person right now; your health is most important!” Su Yang said matter-of-factly. “Look at how thin you’ve become, you look like you’d blow away in the wind. You have to eat more!”
As she spoke, she unhesitatingly opened the food container and stuffed the chopsticks into Wen Yusheng’s hand.
“Hurry and eat, Senior. I specifically asked the cafeteria uncle to save this for me; it won’t taste good if it gets cold.”
Looking at Su Yang’s bright eyes that were practically writing “Please praise me,” Wen Yusheng found she could no longer voice her refusal.
She picked up the chopsticks and began to eat silently.
In truth, she didn’t like eating greasy things. She had a slight obsession with cleanliness and didn’t like eating while reading or working.
But seeing Su Yang’s expectant look, as if possessed, she placed that piece of oily-looking braised pork into her mouth.
The taste… was actually quite good.
It wasn’t as greasy as she had imagined.
Wen Yusheng looked up and saw Su Yang staring at her eagerly, like a puppy waiting for its owner to feed it.
Her heart softened, and she picked up another piece of meat, holding it to Su Yang’s lips.
“You eat too.”
Su Yang froze.
She looked at the piece of meat hovering at her lips, then at Wen Yusheng’s smiling eyes, and felt her cheeks begin to burn again.
The Senior… was actually feeding her personally!
What kind of divine treatment was this!
Overwhelmed by the favor, Su Yang opened her mouth and ate the meat.
The meat was fragrant, soft, and delicious.
But what made her heart race even more was the set of chopsticks tainted with Wen Yusheng’s aura, and Wen Yusheng’s current gaze, which was so gentle it could practically drip water.
Su Yang felt like she was getting drunk—not on the food, but on the Senior’s tenderness.
From then on, Su Yang’s “feeding career” became even more justified.
And Wen Yusheng changed from passive acceptance at the start to calm enjoyment later on.
She even began to “order” dishes.
“Junior, I want to drink fish soup tomorrow.”
“Junior, the library air conditioning is so cold, I want to eat something warm.”
“Junior, I…”
Su Yang was more than happy to oblige.
She felt that being needed by the Senior was the happiest thing in the world.
Every day, she was like a shot of adrenaline, scurrying to the front lines of feeding her Senior, completely unaware that she was being “boiled like a frog in warm water”—falling step-by-step into the gentle trap a certain black-bellied Senior had woven for her long ago.
That night, Su Yang delivered the late-night snack as usual.
Pushing open the door to Wen Yusheng’s dorm, she saw her sitting at her desk, frowning in deep thought at the computer screen.
The screen was filled with dense data and charts, none of which Su Yang could understand.
“Senior, I brought you some silver ear and lotus seed soup. Drink some while it’s hot.” Su Yang placed the thermal container on the desk.
“Mm, put it there.” Wen Yusheng’s eyes didn’t leave the screen; she merely responded casually.
Seeing her like this, Su Yang knew she had “dived in” again.
She shook her head helplessly, walked forward, turned Wen Yusheng’s chair around, and forced her to face her.
“Eat first, think about work later.” Su Yang’s tone carried a hint of undeniable firmness.
Wen Yusheng looked up at the serious girl in front of her and suddenly found it a bit funny.
This puppy was getting bolder and bolder; now she even dared to try and control her.
But she wasn’t angry.
She just stared at Su Yang quietly, then suddenly reached out and grabbed the corner of Su Yang’s shirt.
“Su Yang.” Her voice was very soft, carrying an imperceptible trace of fatigue and reliance.
“Hmm? What is it, Senior?” Su Yang’s heart softened instantly.
Wen Yusheng didn’t speak. She just pulled on the hem of the shirt and gently leaned her face against Su Yang’s stomach.
Su Yang’s body stiffened instantly.
She could feel Wen Yusheng’s soft hair brushing against her abdomen, bringing a series of tiny, itchy sensations.
She exercised year-round, so her abdominal muscles were firm and well-defined. At this moment, through the thin layer of the T-shirt, she could clearly feel the temperature of Wen Yusheng’s cheek and her steady breathing.
This posture was simply… too ambiguous.
Su Yang’s face turned completely red with a “boom.”
She wanted to move, but didn’t dare to, so she stood there stiffly, letting Wen Yusheng lean against her.
“Senior, you…”
“Don’t move.” Wen Yusheng’s voice came muffled. “Let me lean for a while, I’m so tired.”
Hearing the word “tired,” all of Su Yang’s messy thoughts vanished instantly.
All that remained was a heart full of distress.
She reached out her hand, somewhat clumsily and gently, and placed it on Wen Yusheng’s head, as if comforting a wounded little animal.
“Senior, it’s okay,” she said. “No matter how tired you are, I’m here with you.”
Wen Yusheng didn’t reply.
She only buried her face a little deeper, while the corners of her mouth curved into a successful smile.
She could clearly feel the young body in front of her stiffening due to her proximity, and the heartbeat starting to accelerate uncontrollably.
She could even imagine that Su Yang must be blushing furiously right now, in such a state of distress that she wouldn’t know where to put her hands.
So cute.
Wen Yusheng thought.
This puppy’s abs are so hard, even through the clothes.
I wonder how they would feel to the touch?
