Straight Corporate Slave Accidentally Stumbles into the School's F4 - Chapter 15
Chapter 15
Are two minutes enough?
Qiao Nai checked carefully; Ferrio’s wrist was fine, the main issue was the abdomen. However, this specific location made the treatment process rather awkward.
Ferrio had long legs; if he remained seated on the bed, Qiao Nai had to half-squat between his legs to reach the wound.
If Ferrio stood up, it would be even more awkward. Just imagining that scene made Qiao Nai feel it was highly inappropriate.
But it didn’t matter. A straight guy wouldn’t have any reaction anyway. It was just applying medicine a two-minute task. A quick fix was all he needed!
“Should I stand up?” Ferrio clearly had no intention of applying the medicine himself.
“No, stay seated.” Qiao Nai stood in front of Ferrio and said, “Sp/re/ad your legs a bit, I can’t get in.”
“Get in?”
“It’s just that your legs are too long and I can’t reach,” Qiao Nai said, holding the bandages. “I need you to open them for a bit; I can clean this up in two minutes.”
“Are two minutes enough?” Ferrio spread his legs wide and gave Qiao Nai’s waist a tug, instantly enveloping him in his embrace.
“The wound isn’t serious. Just clean it with iodophor and alcohol, then wrap it with a bandage. It’ll be fast.” Now that Ferrio actually had his legs spread, Qiao Nai conversely felt a bit constrained.
Qiao Nai originally wanted to break free from Ferrio’s hands, but on second thought, wouldn’t this be a chance to deepen Ferrio’s impression of him?
Great opportunity!
Though the posture was a bit awkward, it… didn’t matter!
“Is there anything else you need me to do?” Ferrio’s hands still hadn’t let go; instead, he pulled Qiao Nai a bit closer. His tone shifted as he said, “Doctor Qiao?”
Ferrio’s voice was naturally pleasant and unique. When he said “Doctor Qiao,” he deliberately emphasized the syllables, sending a wave of tingling numbness through Qiao Nai’s ears.
Argh.
How can a man’s voice sound this good!!
Qiao Nai bit his lip tightly. The fabric of his clothes was almost pressed against Ferrio. Qiao Nai wasn’t short, but Ferrio was too tall; even sitting down, his head reached a level above Qiao Nai’s chest.
“Dr. Qiao, are you sure you want to bandage it like this?” Ferrio leaned forward, his cheek brushing against Qiao Nai’s shirt. A faint fragrance wafted toward him, and he seemed somewhat captivated.
Ferrio’s build was too large, making Qiao Nai look even smaller standing in his embrace. Especially when Qiao Nai half-kneeling on the floor, he was completely surrounded. Looking in from the balcony, one couldn’t even see his body.
“Stop talking.” Qiao Nai’s heart was racing, and his voice softened accordingly. “I… my heart feels a bit uncomfortable.”
“Why?” Ferrio looked down at Qiao Nai. From this angle, he could see Qiao Nai’s thick eyelashes, his reddened nose-tip, and that somewhat sexy small mole.
Qiao Nai’s shirt had a low collar, and his snow-white, flawless collarbones flickered before Ferrio’s eyes.
It was enough to make someone have a r/e/ac/ti/on.
It was the first time he had ever felt this way about a person.
What about Qiao Nai?
Did Qiao Nai feel the same way about him?
Ferrio didn’t know, so he stared even more intently not just at those soulful, watery eyes and that fair, delicate neck, but also at that slender waist that could be grasped with one hand.
He really wanted to touch it.
But Qiao Nai just kept his head down, unrolling the bandages with his lips pressed thin, offering no reply.
“Qiao An.” Ferrio suddenly called Qiao Nai’s name. “Do you know? Right now, you look a lot like the pet rat I keep at home.”
Cute.
Endearing.
“A pet rat?” Qiao Nai finally found a topic.
However, he had never kept a small animal. As a veteran corporate slave, he spent nearly twenty out of twenty-four hours a day at the company. Even if he wanted to keep one, he had absolutely no time to care for a small life.
But he was indeed interested in these small animals.
“What does a pet rat look like?” Qiao Nai tried to picture a pet rat in his mind, but he could only conjure a blurry image.
Ferrio played hard to get: “It’s a bit hard to describe. If you’re interested, you can come to my house and see.”
While they were talking, the medicine had been applied; only the bandaging was left.
By now, the bandage was completely unrolled. Qiao Nai didn’t think much of it and nodded. Holding the bandage, he reached both hands behind Ferrio’s back, wrapping it around and around.
Ferrio’s frame was too large; Qiao Nai had to lean in very close to complete a full loop.
But leaning in close presented a new problem.
That was the fact that Qiao Nai’s cheeks and hands would inevitably touch Ferrio’s body, as well as his lower half.
To the person involved, this posture might have seemed like nothing just helping to apply medicine. But if seen from a bit further away—not even that far, just standing at the doorway a few steps away there would be a completely different atmosphere.
Like a pair of lovers helping each other…
“You’re a bit big, I might be standing a bit close.”
He probably won’t mind, right?
Qiao Nai remembered Ferrio’s germaphobia and for a moment didn’t know if he would mind, so he spoke up anyway.
“Mm.” Ferrio nodded, appearing lost in thought. “Indeed, very big.”
As a major straight guy, Qiao Nai didn’t catch the double meaning in Ferrio’s words. His entire attention was focused on wrapping the bandages.
Ferrio had the kind of physique that looked lean in clothes but muscular when undressed. When Ferrio was clothed, Qiao Nai could see the muscular contours of his arms; he had thought Ferrio had a good body, but now that he actually saw his bare upper body, he hadn’t expected it to be this good.
This face combined with this physique tsk tsk plus his status as a sports genius famous from a young age, it was no wonder so many people pursued him.
If he were a girl, he probably wouldn’t be able to control himself either.
This bandage was a bit thin; it remained transparent even after a few layers. Qiao Nai had no choice but to maintain this posture and wrap a few more layers.
After Ferrio’s “very big” comment, the entire room fell silent.
Don’t let such a good opportunity go to waste, Qiao Nai!
Qiao Nai tried to think of a way while busy with his hands. Through his persistence, half a minute later, he finally thought of a topic that would keep the air from being awkward.
“Are pet rats cute?” Qiao Nai asked, looking up.
It was so abrupt.
An instant later, he heard Ferrio let out a light chuckle. He had waited for Qiao Nai for several minutes, only to receive this one trivial sentence. He was both annoyed and amused.
“Cute,” he said. “Very cute.”
The air fell silent once again.
Is that it?
Why is chasing someone so hard!
Qiao Nai desperately needed a high-EQ response, but six years of daily corporate slave life had long since polished away the sharp edges of his mind.
After a long while, he finally managed to squeeze out another sentence: “Can I really go to your house to see it?”
This sentence was very good; Ferrio liked hearing it.
“Mm.” Ferrio looked down at Qiao Nai’s thick eyelashes, feeling that Qiao Nai at this moment was like a beautiful “eyelash spirit,” capturing his full attention. “I said it just now. You can.”
“You can come anytime, as long as you want to.”
