Straight Corporate Slave Accidentally Stumbles into the School's F4 - Chapter 14
Chapter 14
What posture?
“It’s very far from the school, and the transportation is inconvenient. Why not change places?” Ferrio closed the door for Qiao Nai and followed him further into the room. “And this place is about to be demolished, isn’t it?”
When he was downstairs, he had noticed the demolition notice posted on the wall.
Change places?
Of course he wanted to change places! Preferably to a high-rise flat in the city center!
But this wasn’t something he could decide; things were already like this the moment he transmigrated.
“Work has been too busy, I haven’t had time to find a new residence yet.” There were no drinks in the refrigerator, so Qiao Nai had no choice but to take a small packet of green tea that had been sitting in the cupboard for a long time and brewed two cups of tea.
Ferrio opened his mouth, appearing as if he wanted to say something, but his own nephew beat him to it.
“Mr. Qiao, can I sit here?” Although Harrison was young, he was well-bred and very polite. He didn’t dislike the studio for being small; instead, he proactively made himself at home.
Of course, he also didn’t notice that he had interrupted his uncle.
“Yes, sit wherever you like.” Qiao Nai brought the kettle and cups to the coffee table and poured a cup for Ferrio. “It might be a bit bitter.”
Ferrio didn’t have the habit of drinking tea, but he took it anyway. “Mm.”
Qiao Nai was initially worried whether a young master like Ferrio would simply refuse, but unexpectedly, he actually accepted it.
When he was rummaging through the cupboards this morning, he found a jar of fruit candy and some snacks, which he brought over as well.
“You guys eat first, I’ll go look for the medical kit.”
Ferrio didn’t look like he had any major issues, but the white shirt over his abdomen was stained with a layer of blood from who-knows-who.
To prevent scarring, it was better to treat it quickly.
He had been too busy these past few days, so Qiao Nai hadn’t had time to check every nook and cranny of the house and didn’t know where everything was kept. Logically speaking, the medical kit should be in the living room, right?
But Qiao Nai searched the living room twice and couldn’t find it.
“I haven’t used it for a long time, I accidentally forgot where I put it. I’ll go look in the bedroom.” To prevent Ferrio from getting suspicious, Qiao Nai added a sentence and then headed to the bedroom alone.
The bedroom was only half the size of the living room. The bed took up nearly two-thirds of the space, and the remaining third held the wardrobe, leaving very little room to walk.
The wardrobe structure was very simple; the bottom was for hanging clothes, and further up was a narrow cabinet.
The cabinet was a bit high and out of reach, so Qiao Nai took off his shoes and stood on the bed, standing on his tiptoes to reach up.
With much effort, he stretched his arm and opened the top cabinet, but something suddenly fell out with a thud.
Seeing it was about to hit him, at the critical moment, his waist was suddenly grabbed from behind. Qiao Nai stumbled back onto the bed, and his head was shielded by an arm; only then was he spared from being hit by the object.
He suddenly looked up and saw Ferrio had appeared in front of him at some point, even blocking the box that had fallen from the wardrobe for him.
“Tha… thank you.”
Ferrio was very close. Qiao Nai only needed to lift his body slightly to be pressed against him.
No.
Too close!!
Qiao Nai instinctively tried to break free from Ferrio’s arm that was curved over his head, but not only did he fail, his wrist was once again grabbed.
“Don’t move.” Ferrio looked down at him, one knee kneeling in the gap between Qiao Nai’s legs.
Seeing Ferrio getting closer and closer, Qiao Nai panicked a bit. He instinctively started leaning back. “What… what are you doing?”
Ferrio let go of the hand holding Qiao Nai’s wrist and gave it a light shake, his eyes still fixed unmovingly on Qiao Nai.
Qiao Nai glanced at the box that had hit the floor. Besides being packed with bandaging supplies, he didn’t know what else was inside. It had made a heavy thud when it hit the ground, so there was probably quite a lot in there.
“Were you hit?” Qiao Nai realized something was wrong.
As he spoke, he leaned forward. This time it was his turn to grab Ferrio’s wrist and examine it carefully.
That box hadn’t actually hit Ferrio’s wrist; his forearm was just a bit sore from holding the position for too long. However, seeing Qiao Nai looking at his wrist with a face full of worry, a wicked thought momentarily crossed his mind: “Yeah, I was hit.”
“It hurts a lot,” he added.
Qiao Nai’s brows quickly furrowed; it seemed he had believed Ferrio’s words.
“Sit here and don’t move, I’ll go get the bandages.”
Ferrio’s leg was still between his own, so Qiao Nai had to change his posture and use the edge of the bed to climb down from the other side.
This time, Ferrio sat obediently on the bed, pressing his hands against the edge of the mattress as he looked sideways at Qiao Nai.
Qiao Nai’s skin was too white. When he bent over to pick things up, the light blue veins on the side of his neck faintly surfaced, tracing a path down to his collarbones. His collarbones were beautifully shaped and very thin, with a shallow dip in the middle. The skin around the dip was tinged with a faint pink, making it hard for one not to let their thoughts wander.
Ferrio couldn’t help but look a few more times.
He wasn’t sure if it was his imagination, but he felt as though the Qiao An of the last few days was like a different person—not just in personality, but in a way that was hard to put into words.
The feeling was so strange that he couldn’t tell if it was real or fake.
“Um… how about you take off your clothes first?” Qiao Nai brought over the gauze, cotton swabs, and disinfectant, standing in front of Ferrio.
The positions had swapped; this time, the one sitting on the bed wasn’t him, but Ferrio.
“Everything?” Ferrio asked.
“The shirt.” Qiao Nai pursed his lips. “Your abdomen is hurt; you only need to take off the shirt.”
Ferrio didn’t move.
“I won’t watch you undress.” Qiao Nai turned around, thinking to himself that this young master really was high-maintenance shy about taking off his clothes even though Qiao Nai would have to look anyway in a moment.
“Close the door,” Ferrio’s voice came from behind him.
“Should I go out first then?” Qiao Nai asked.
“No need.” Ferrio unfastened his buttons. “Just close the door. No need to go out.”
Only Harrison was outside. Qiao Nai didn’t understand what Ferrio meant, but he didn’t want to waste words arguing, so he didn’t ask further and simply closed the door.
“Are you finished undressing?” Qiao Nai looked toward the back of the door. “Should I come over?”
“Mm.”
It was just taking off a shirt; there was nothing special about a man’s upper body, it was all the same. But for some reason, Qiao Nai suddenly felt nervous.
He pinched his fingertips, turned around, and walked over. When he saw Ferrio’s bare upper body, he couldn’t help but freeze for a moment.
This… was an athlete’s physique!
The lines of his taut abdominal muscles were clearly visible, packed one after another. Under the cool light, they possessed an indescribable wildness, and even the shadows in the grooves revealed a unique kind of aesthetic beauty.
Qiao Nai’s face turned bright red.
Not knowing if Ferrio had noticed, he said, “What posture?”
“What?” Qiao Nai gave a small “ah.”
“I asked, do I need to stand up, or… what posture?”
