Qiao Gaogao moved swiftly, raising her gun and firing at the zombie!

Yet, even at such close range, the zombie dodged the bullet with a swift sidestep!

Qiao Gaogao immediately swapped positions with Yinxi, her heart racing as she stared at the zombie outside.

This zombie was different, its movements were unnervingly fast. Was it always like this after turning into a zombie, or had it evolved?

If it had evolved, how could it have reached this level by only the second day?

Qiao Gaogao glared intently at the zombie, which returned her gaze with a fierce, menacing glare. However, seeing that it made no move to attack, she was somewhat surprised.

“Senior, what’s going on with it?” Qiao Gaogao couldn’t figure out why the zombie had suddenly appeared but wasn’t attacking, especially since its target seemed to be directed straight at her senior.

“Roar, roar!” It called me beautiful.

In an instant, Qiao Gaogao’s doll-like face was filled with murderous intent.

Calling her senior beautiful?!

How dare it hit on her senior right in front of her?!

Was she dead?!

Qi Miao, who was driving at the front, had no idea what they were discussing. All she felt was extreme tension, her palms sweating profusely as she gripped the steering wheel. She tried to shake off the zombie clinging to the outside of the car, but it stuck like glue, refusing to budge no matter how hard she tried.

The vehicles following them soon noticed something was wrong. Someone leaned out with a gun, aiming to blow the zombie’s head off, but not only did they fail to harm it, they only succeeded in enraging it.

With a furious roar, the zombie seemed to issue a command, and the surrounding zombies began swarming more frantically toward them.

Qiao Gaogao quickly realized the issue, it appeared this zombie had the ability to control others.

“Roar, roar!” Why are you here?

For the first time since turning into a zombie, Yinxi felt a surge of excitement. Finally, a zombie she could communicate with! Previously, she hadn’t been able to understand any of the others.

“Roar, roar! Roar, roar!” You’re pretty, I want to marry you!

She turned to Qiao Gaogao and let out an aggrieved whimper, feeling that the zombie was harassing her.

Qiao Gaogao flew into a rage. How dare this already-dead zombie imitate others by seeking a wife and even set its sights on her wife?!

Without a moment’s hesitation, she threw a powerful punch at the zombie. As her fist shot forward, her arm began to transform, turning into a metallic limb that drastically amplified her striking force.

“Roar!” The zombie roared in fury, clearly annoyed by this human obstructing its plans. Dodging the attack, it stretched out its arm, intent on tearing Qiao Gaogao apart.

Qiao Gaogao’s expression tightened. With one hand, she firmly gripped the zombie’s wrist to halt its movement, while with the other, she swiftly opened the car door. The interior was too cramped for her to maneuver effectively.

“Roar!”

After forcefully hurling the zombie out of the car, Qiao Gaogao leaped out after it. She unleashed her ability without restraint, and the nearby vehicles began to compress and reshape, swiftly forming a sharp longsword. Gripping it tightly, she swung it down with all her might toward the zombie.

The commotion from the fight was too intense, forcing the convoy to a halt. Everyone raised their weapons to fend off the swarming zombies, as nearly every vehicle found itself surrounded by the horde.

During the fight with the zombie, Qiao Gaogao also noticed the problem. Enduring the sharp pain in her head, she began attempting to build an iron wall between the vehicles and the zombies.

“Roar!” The zombie grew even angrier, charging toward her at an incredible speed. Its hands, now tipped with sharp claws, ruthlessly aimed straight for her heart!

“Clang!”

Her long sword blocked the attack, producing a metallic clang, a testament to the hardness of the zombie’s nails.

Qiao Gaogao’s single sword transformed into hundreds of smaller blades, raining down on the zombie like a storm, determined to pierce it into a sieve!

“Roar!” The zombie grew even more enraged, manipulating other zombies to shield it. Realizing she was a tough opponent, it turned to attack the others.

Qiao Gaogao would never give it that chance. The moment it turned away, she reformed her long sword and hurled it fiercely at the back of its head!

“Roar!”

As the sword flew, Qiao Gaogao followed closely behind, a small dagger appearing in her hand as she plunged it into the zombie’s neck.

The zombie let out one last roar of defiance before collapsing to the ground with a heavy thud.

After dealing with it, Qiao Gaogao didn’t pause, immediately starting to clear the zombies surrounding the vehicles.

The others were stunned by her actions. Initially, only the vehicle following Qi Miao had known she was using her abilities to clear the way. Now, as she cleared the area, everyone noticed her unusual strength.

Possessing abilities in the current situation made her a top-tier combatant, boosting morale while discouraging any ill intentions from others.

Qiao’s parents also got out to help clear the area. Seeing Qiao Gaogao’s condition, they asked, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Have everyone get in the vehicles. We’ll leave this place soon and find somewhere to rest.”

Qiao Mu nodded and quickly began organizing everyone.

By the time the surrounding zombies were cleared, Qiao Gaogao could already feel her mental energy severely depleted. Her head throbbed with pain, and her vision began to darken.

“Roar, roar!” Yinxi had gotten out of the vehicle early on, but she hadn’t dared to make a sound while Qiao Gaogao was fighting the zombie, afraid of becoming a burden. Now, seeing Qiao Gaogao’s pale face, she grew extremely anxious.

“It’s okay, don’t worry. I just need some rest,” Qiao Gaogao said, forcing a smile as she prepared to get into the vehicle to rest.

Qi Miao quickly helped Yinxi support Qiao Gaogao into the vehicle. Just as she was about to get in herself, Yinxi stopped her.

“What’s wrong?” Qi Miao looked at Yinxi, who pointed at the zombie lying on the ground and then at her own head.

“Roar, roar!” Yinxi roared anxiously.

Qi Miao thought she might understand what Yinxi meant, she wanted her to dig into the zombie’s head?!

Recalling the post-apocalyptic zombie novels she’d read, Qi Miao silently pulled out a military knife and began digging into the zombie’s brain.

Qiao Gaogao noticed this but didn’t have the energy to intervene. After getting into the vehicle, she curled up in the back seat, resting her head on Yinxi’s lap and closing her eyes to rest.

Not long after, Qi Miao rushed over excitedly, covered in the stench of blood. She reached her dirty hand through the car window, presenting her find like a treasure and exclaiming excitedly, “Xiao Yin! Gaogao! Look! There’s something here!”

But as soon as her hand went in, Yinxi’s eyes widened instantly, followed by the sound of retching so violent it seemed to tear her heart and lungs.

“Huh?” Qi Miao’s excited voice cut off abruptly.

Qiao Gaogao, who had been resting with her eyes closed, immediately opened them. A mass of metallic liquid appeared out of thin air, wrapping around Qi Miao’s hand and pushing her away from the car before swiftly rolling up the window!

Qi Miao: “…”

Just then, Qi Ji walked over. He cast a pitying glance at his foolish younger sister, then shot a slightly disgusted look at the filth covering her hand. “Haven’t you noticed how much Yinxi values cleanliness?”

Even he had noticed, what was wrong with his sister? Weren’t women supposed to be naturally more observant and sensitive?!
