“Exactly, he isn’t even…” Luo Xingxing had only managed half a sentence before she sensed that the False Heavenly Dao had returned.

Not only had he returned, but he was also clutching Pei Junzhuo in his hand.

Seeing Pei Junzhuo, Luo Xingxing did not dare to act rashly. She currently did not understand what this scumbag was actually trying to do.

“I asked around among classmates to find Luo Xingran’s hospital, and I pretended to run into her parents by chance.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t cause you any trouble. I will definitely win her over.” Li Dan’s words were full of certainty; he didn’t view Luo Xingran as a human being at all.

To him, Luo Xingran was merely a stepping stone to ascend to the heights of success.

“Make sure your acting is convincing. Don’t let her find out, or things will become difficult to handle,” the False Heavenly Dao said coldly. His voice annoyed Li Dan, who felt he was on the verge of reaching the peak of his life.

“I know, I know.” Li Dan had expected the other party to praise him, but all he heard was this kind of nonsense.

“Anyway, I’m going to become the new Child of the Heavenly Dao in this world. Stop nagging me.” After speaking dismissively, Li Dan hung up the phone.

Seemingly surprised that Luo Xingran would say such a thing, the False Heavenly Dao was stunned for a moment.

“You had better think that way. Otherwise, once I shatter her soul and scatter the pieces to every corner of the world, even if you beg me then, there will be no way to save her.”

As the False Heavenly Dao spoke, he watched with satisfaction as Luo Xingxing’s pupils dilated and she flinched.

Luo Xingran held a sharp knife in her hand. Looking at him, she said, “If he’s sent to the hospital now, there might still be hope.”

She wore a harmless smile, her expression more relaxed than ever before.

“Don’t try any little tricks, or I will make Pei Junzhuo’s soul vanish forever,” the False Heavenly Dao warned, staring directly at Luo Xingran.

Luo Xingran smiled slightly and dropped the knife in her hand. Appearing to comply with his demand, she stepped toward the window in the next second.

“Resurrect Pei Junzhuo, or I will jump from here.” Luo Xingran maintained that same harmless smile.

Looking at the meager energy left in his hands, the False Heavenly Dao could not possibly stop Luo Xingran and save Li Dan at the same time.

“Everything can be discussed.” The False Heavenly Dao brought Pei Junzhuo’s soul out of the space, but Pei Junzhuo remained unconscious.

Seeing Pei Junzhuo’s eyes closed as she fell directly onto the ground, Luo Xingran’s heart throbbed with uncontrollable pain.

However, she did not intend to make things easy for the other party. Luo Xingran said with a cold face, “Resurrect her. Since you were able to make her die, make her live.”

The False Heavenly Dao’s expression was grim; he knew he couldn’t do it.

“Hand Li Dan over to me first, or send him to the hospital.” Lacking sufficient energy, the False Heavenly Dao could only seek outside help.

“This deal only stands if Li Dan stays alive.” The False Heavenly Dao’s face was dark, clearly livid with rage.

He had already made preparations; the moment Li Dan was in the hospital, he would directly seize control of Luo Xingran’s soul.
