Running Away While Pregnant with the Villain’s Child - Chapter 35
The False Heavenly Dao looked at Luo Xingran in her current state, not believing for a moment that she had any tricks left up her sleeve. Facing a mere mortal like her, his power was of a crushing, absolute level.
However, before his mocking words could even leave his mouth, he felt a piercing pain in his left leg.
Immediately following that, every joint in his body began to ache, and he quickly collapsed to the ground, unable to rise.
“What did you do?” The False Heavenly Dao nearly spat blood in rage as he looked at Luo Xingran in disbelief.
“I did a few things that weren’t exactly ‘nice’—I blew up Li Dan’s ancestral graves. It seems he really is one of your many weaknesses.”
Luo Xingran’s eyes were devoid of both sorrow and joy; she didn’t seem to feel any sense of triumph at the impending defeat of her opponent.
Watching the figure huddled in a ball on the ground, Luo Xingran raised her blade and brought it down, killing Li Dan directly. The smell of blood was unsettling, and the False Heavenly Dao went completely mad.
“How could you do this? If you kill him, Pei Junzhuo can forget about living!” the False Heavenly Dao snarled, looking as if he wanted to swallow Luo Xingran alive.
“I know. But how is she supposed to live anyway? I’ve wracked my brain and found no way for her to survive.”
“Even if she submitted to you, her ultimate fate would be to be devoured by stray dogs.”
“I’ve accepted my fate. I can’t save her, and I can’t save myself.” Luo Xingran gave a smile of liberation as she pulled out a red button.
“However, I can save the other victims of this world. All that matters is that you die.” Luo Xingran smiled radiantly, an expression filled mostly with the relief of a heavy burden being lifted.
Without giving the other party time to react, Luo Xingran pressed the button.
In an instant, the building they were in exploded.
“She’s crazy! The Daughter of the Heavenly Dao has gone insane!” This was the final thought the False Heavenly Dao had before losing consciousness.
Standing in the distance, Shen Yao and Tan Nuannuan watched the scene with complex emotions.
They never imagined things would end this way.
To be honest, Tan Nuannuan didn’t necessarily believe everything Luo Xingran had said. However, the fact that she wanted to kill Li Dan was, for her, the best thing that could happen.
As long as Li Dan existed, there would be an insurmountable chasm between her and Shen Yao.
Therefore, no matter what Luo Xingran wanted to do, she would help.
Meanwhile, in the Void Space, Luo Xingxing was nearly frantic with worry. The restraints on her body had vanished with the fall of the False Heavenly Dao.
However, in her current state, she simply didn’t have enough energy to rewrite everything.
Luo Xingxing was on the verge of tears; she didn’t want her sister and Pei Junzhuo to meet such an end.
“I can help you rewrite the ending of this world one more time, but you must give me the beginning of a story you once wrote. Furthermore, once that story begins, you must stay here and keep me company.”
Hearing the Voice of the Void, Luo Xingxing agreed without a second thought.
And so, all the stories began anew.
Watching the restarted story, Luo Xingxing felt a bit guilty toward her sister.
The winter sun shone down, offering a sliver of warmth to dispel the chill. Luo Xingran held her child’s hand as they walked out of the airport in Paris.
Just as she stepped out of the airport doors, she saw Pei Junzhuo.
“My darling, where are you planning to take my child to play?” Pei Junzhuo looked at Luo Xingran, looking as if she wanted to laugh.
Hearing the other woman say such cringe-inducing words, Luo Xingran couldn’t help but want to laugh as well.
“Dear Luo Xingxing, I have some good news and some bad news.” The Void Space looked at the satisfied Luo Xingxing and couldn’t resist delivering a critical blow.
“Go ahead,” Luo Xingxing said, watching her sister and Pei Junzhuo currently performing a “melodramatic 8:00 PM soap opera” plot. She was happily “eating popcorn” while watching the “you-run-I-chase” drama.
“The good news is that in three days, they will finish acting out this story, regain control of their bodies, and never have to play a role again.”
“The bad news is that when that happens, they will be able to come here and see you.” The voice of the Void was clearly filled with schadenfreude.
“And of course, there is even worse news. While they are performing this melodramatic plot, they are fully conscious. Furthermore, I told them the fact that you were the one who wrote the script.”
As the Void finished speaking, Luo Xingxing clutched her head and rolled on the ground in agony.
As expected, this Space wasn’t any good either!
Ah! Is it too late for her to admit she was wrong now?!
