- Outrageous! The Useless Fake Young Master Is Being Forcefully Pampered by a Cold Beauty.
- Chapter 8 - It Was Actually Him
Yun Su leaned against the wall, squinting his eyes as he observed Lin Jiusi. The more he looked, the more surprised he became. He hadn’t expected that this boy, who appeared somewhat dim-witted, possessed such a profound aura of merit, and was a martial artist to boot.
However, his talent was only average, and his cultivation level was not even as high as Elder An’s. Judging by the martial artist hierarchy of this world, he was likely only at the Yinyuan Realm. Yun Su laughed at himself to encounter several martial artists in a single day, he wondered if he should consider himself lucky.
To Lin Jiusi, however, Yun Su’s smile felt demonic; he was certain the youth was plotting how to kill him.
A few minutes later, the food from Hai Tian Ya Mansion arrived. Yun Su checked the time exactly ten minutes had passed. Along with the delivery came a man dressed in a high-fashion, custom-made suit. With broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs, he was handsome, with sharp, well-defined brows and a perfectly structured face.
As he walked toward them against the light, his cool, ethereal temperament made one immediately forget the mundane. Yet, hidden beneath that cold exterior was a powerful, sharp aura that made people fearful, causing them to subconsciously overlook his appearance.
Yun Su stood there blankly, staring at him. His heart hammered in his chest, and his eyes were full of astonishment. It wasn’t until the man frowned in displeasure and cast a cold glance his way that Yun Su finally snapped out of it.
Jiang Biechen felt a bit surprised when he saw Yun Su. It was actually him! The university student he had bumped into at the entrance of the police station.
Seeing Jiang Biechen, Lin Jiusi looked as if he had found a savior. He lunged forward and hung onto him like a koala, bawling, “Brother! You’re finally here! If you didn’t come, you’d never see your adorable brother again.” He rubbed his tears and snot onto Jiang Biechen’s clothes, staring up at him with teary, mournful eyes while occasionally glancing over at Yun Su.
Sensing the movement, Jiang Biechen’s face darkened, his voice cold enough to drop ice crystals. “Get off.”
Lin Jiusi shuddered, reluctantly loosening his grip on Jiang Biechen’s clothes, but he didn’t dare to make eye contact with Yun Su, hiding instead behind Jiang Biechen. He whispered, “Brother, it’s him. I only accidentally knocked over his lunchbox, and he nearly killed me. Just thinking about his eyes makes me feel terrified.”
If an ordinary person dared to look at him like that, he would have roared back, but Yun Su’s gaze was different it was filled with such tangible murderous intent that it was clear he had killed before, honed through mountains of corpses and seas of blood.
Watching from the side, Yun Su couldn’t help but twitch his lip. He hadn’t expected Lin Jiusi to have this kind of personality; he was a grown man, yet he cried and wailed without a shred of shame. Seeing Yun Su looking over, Lin Jiusi immediately hid himself completely behind Jiang Biechen and whispered, “Brother, he’s not an ordinary person. Just a moment ago, he grabbed my collar with one hand, and I couldn’t break free. I’m a Yinyuan Realm martial artist an ordinary person couldn’t have that kind of strength. I suspect he’s a martial artist too, and his realm is definitely higher than mine.”
Jiang Biechen smoothed out his crumpled clothing. He was somewhat surprised by Lin Jiusi’s words. The youth looked to be only eighteen or nineteen, clearly still a university student, and his white shirt didn’t look like something worn by a child from a prominent family. Yet, his realm was actually higher than that of his dim-witted cousin.
Jiang Biechen walked up to Yun Su and spoke. “I am that fool’s cousin. I have already heard from Jiusi about what happened. I am very sorry that he knocked over your food.”
Yun Su took the food container engraved with the Hai Tian Ya Mansion logo and waved his hand dismissively. “It’s a trivial matter; no need to be so formal.”
Lin Jiusi’s eyes widened in disbelief. “That’s not how you acted just a moment ago!”
Yun Su gave him a disdainful look, pushed up his glasses with two fingers, and a faint smile touched his lips. “I have always been very tolerant toward handsome people.”
Lin Jiusi: “…” Am I not handsome? Am I not beautiful? Clearly, I think my own face is very handsome! Why is the attitude toward his brother and the attitude toward me completely poles apart?
Jiang Biechen couldn’t help but twitch his lip. Handsome? Is he talking about me? No one had ever dared to speak to him like that about his looks before.
“Handsome, what is your name? Why don’t you leave me your contact information?” Yun Su took out his phone, his peach-blossom eyes shining with excitement. Even the red mole at the corner of his left eye seemed to come alive for a moment.
He waited for a moment, and just when Yun Su thought he was about to be rejected, Jiang Biechen moved, taking out his phone to add Yun Su on WeChat.
“Jiang Biechen.”
“Hmm?” Yun Su tilted his head, not understanding at first, but soon realized this was the man’s name.
Yun Su tucked his phone away, feeling completely satisfied. Jiang Biechen the name truly suited the man. Not only was he handsome, but his voice was cool and pleasant, and even his name sounded lovely.
“My name is Yun Su. I have things to do, so I will be leaving now. As for the soup on the floor, let him clean it up.” Yun Su pointed toward the dumbfounded Lin Jiusi, raised the food container in his hand, and turned to get into the elevator.
Jiang Biechen watched Yun Su’s retreating figure until it was out of sight before looking away. In the instant Yun Su had tilted his head just now, he had found the youth quite cute very much like the dwarf cat his cousin kept at home. He didn’t know why, but when Yun Su had asked for his WeChat, he had agreed instinctively; by the time he realized it, he had already added the youth as a friend.
Lin Jiusi shut his mouth, which had dropped open in shock, and said in an incredulous tone, “Brother, has your brain broken? How could you give your contact information to him!”
Jiang Biechen turned around and said to the bodyguards behind him, “Clean up the floor.”
“Yes, young master.”
Walking behind Lin Jiusi, Jiang Biechen grabbed him by the back of his collar and dragged him away. “I’ve only been out for a few hours, and you’ve already caused me trouble. I’m going to tell your aunt about this when we get back.”
Upon hearing that his mother the Liang woman would be told, Lin Jiusi immediately wilted. “Brother, Brother, I was wrong, okay? Please don’t tell her; she will beat me to death.”
“That is non-negotiable.”
“Brother, I was wrong, I really was wrong…”
Dragged away for a long distance, people in the hospital could still hear Lin Jiusi’s wails, and many stretched their necks out to look curiously.
Ding—
The elevator doors opened, and Yun Su walked out holding the food container, the smile on his lips gone.
Was that the same person I saw at the police station this morning?
Their height and temperament were very similar. Although he hadn’t seen the man’s face then, he trusted his intuition: this Jiang Biechen was the man who had stepped out of the black business sedan at the police station earlier today.
He hadn’t noticed it before, but now that he saw him up close, the man possessed an incredibly rich aura of merit it was almost forming a mist behind him and that aura even carried a trace of purple energy. In ancient times, purple energy was something that appeared only on emperors. For a martial artist to possess such dense imperial purple energy and merit, he was truly a “favorite son of Heaven.” Anyone who opposed him would likely meet a grim end.
Yun Su shook his head. All of this had nothing to do with him. Even though they were WeChat friends, it didn’t mean he would be making contact. He was attracted to the man’s looks, but it was better not to provoke someone protected by the Heavenly Dao. Yun Su subconsciously ignored the fact that his heartbeat had accelerated uncontrollably when they met.
When he reached the door of his father’s hospital room, Yun Su pushed aside the thoughts in his head and pushed open the door.
“Father, I ran into some matters today, so I’m late. How are you feeling?” Yun Su set the lunchbox on a nearby table, stepped forward to help his father sit up, and asked.
His father was only forty years old this year. He had a refined, scholarly appearance, and even now, with a pale face and dressed in a hospital gown, one could still see that he must have been a very handsome man in his youth. Perhaps because of his hard work over the years to raise two children, there were a few white hairs at his temples, and he carried a mature, steady air. Seeing Yun Su, a smile immediately appeared on his face.
“It’s so late; why are you running to the hospital? Didn’t you hire a private nurse? There is nothing wrong with me.”
Although his father said this, he was very happy that his son had come to see him so late. Having grown used to interacting with the old man Qi Chen, Yun Su didn’t feel it was unnatural to interact with his father.
“What are you saying, Father? You are my father. No matter how late it is, I must come to check on you before I can rest!”
As he let his father lean back against the bed, Yun Su controlled his spiritual energy to enter his father’s body, checking the injuries. A moment later, Yun Su withdrew his hand, walked to the table, and opened the lunchbox, taking out all the food.
His father watched Yun Su’s busy figure and felt truly gratified. Although his son had not grown up by his side since he was a child, he had surprisingly been raised very well. He had heard more than his fair share of stories about wealthy and high-ranking second-generation heirs playing with people’s emotions, misbehaving with starlets, being incompetent, and so on.
If his son were truly incompetent, he would have no face to face Liyue.
“Has Ranran been acting up at home these last few days? That girl has always wanted an older brother to spoil her. I don’t know why she and Lu Chen never got along, but now that you are here, she must be over the moon.”
