Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 72
Shen Wenshan was so angered by Su Sui that he fainted on the spot.
But even so, she still felt that this way of death was letting Shen Wenshan off too easily.
He tortured Yang Xinjie for his entire life and tormented Shen Jiayan for 23 years. In Su Sui’s view, such a person should be chopped into a thousand pieces, not absolved by swallowing a peanut.
It was a pity that the world was like this; those harmed by such beastly scum suffered in life and did not have a peaceful end in death.
Yet, those who committed evil deeds could die comfortably.
Su Sui finally left the detention center with lingering regret.
On the way home, it began to drizzle. Thinking of Shen Jiayan at home, she couldn’t help but speed up.
Ever since Shen Jiayan’s lungs were injured, she couldn’t stop coughing whenever the weather turned a little cool. When the cough was severe, she could even spit up blood streaks, which was startling to behold.
Clutching an uneasy heart, Su Sui rushed home and pushed open the door, “Jiayan, I’m back.”
But before she could see anyone, her vision went completely black, and the darkness instantly turned into a fierce beast, attacking her. Dead memories attacked her relentlessly once again.
The pain felt as if it was tearing her apart; the agony made her nearly suffocate, and even the sound of her own breathing seemed unusually harsh.
Just as her emotions were about to collapse, a pair of cool, slender arms tightly embraced her. That familiar feeling instantly froze Su Sui.
“Don’t be afraid.”
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Su Sui immediately wrapped her arms around Shen Jiayan in return, clinging to her tightly as if a drowning person had grasped a life-saving straw. She buried her face in Shen Jiayan’s neck and murmured, “Jiayan, you scared me to death!”
Shen Jiayan patted her back, “Don’t open your eyes yet, I’ll take you to see a surprise.”
“What surprise?” Su Sui instinctively reached up to pull off the blindfold that had been placed over her eyes. “It’s not a scare, is it?”
Shen Jiayan chuckled helplessly and gently patted her hand away, “Whether it’s a surprise or a scare, you’ll know once you see it, won’t you?”
Then she added, “No peeking, or I’ll get angry.”
“Got it, you nag,” Su Sui pouted but made no further moves, allowing Shen Jiayan to lead her.
Since she couldn’t see, everything relied on touch and hearing.
If she guessed correctly, Shen Jiayan had led her to the living room, changed into a tight dress, and then led her outdoors.
The fine raindrops felt slightly cool on her exposed skin.
She could also sense other people around, although they kept their breathing very quiet, she could still feel their presence.
“There are steps here,” Shen Jiayan prompted softly.
Su Sui hummed an acknowledgment and obediently followed close beside Shen Jiayan, stepping up the stairs.
One step, two steps, three steps.
After three steps, Su Sui clearly felt she was standing on a wooden platform.
“Jiayan, what on earth are you doing?” she asked curiously.
Shen Jiayan gave a gentle, warm smile, reached out, and touched Su Sui’s cheek, “Alright, you can take off the blindfold now.”
As Su Sui removed the blindfold, Shen Jiayan, dressed in a wedding gown and holding a diamond ring, knelt on one knee before Su Sui, who was wearing a matching gown, “Will you marry me?”
Su Sui looked at the beautiful bride before her and couldn’t believe for a long time that she had actually heard a marriage proposal from Shen Jiayan’s mouth.
After all, in her mind, Shen Jiayan had always been a proud person, someone who disdained doing such things.
She was even more surprised that Shen Jiayan would humble herself to kneel down for her sake.
Uncertain, Su Sui asked, “Jiayan, what… what did you just say?”
“I said, I want to marry you and take care of you for the rest of my life,” Shen Jiayan looked into Su Sui’s eyes and said, word by word.
Her gaze was clear and pure, showing sincerity and openness. Even the diamond ring in her hand shone with a dazzling brilliance.
That brilliant light reflected in Su Sui’s pupils, making her narrow her eyes involuntarily.
Su Sui slowly extended her hand, her fingertips passing through the ring, then she grabbed Shen Jiayan, pulled her up, and drew her into her arms, saying with a light and cheerful tone, “Wifey, I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.”
“Okay”
A happy arc curved on Shen Jiayan’s lips. She reached out, wrapped her arms around Su Sui, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed Su Sui’s lips.
After they kissed, Su Sui finally looked at the guests below.
She saw Fu Jing pushing Gao Wei, who was in a wheelchair, along with Mo Chenlin, and the employees from Su Sui’s company. Even Chen Qianqian was there.
Gao Wei, holding a bright red bouquet, waved at them with a sweet smile, “Congratulations to you both.”
Fu Jing pushed Gao Wei forward a couple of steps and chimed in, “Wishing you a long life together, forever and ever.”
Amidst all the blessings, the wedding ceremony of the two gradually concluded.
Even though they had a wedding ceremony, Su Sui still felt that Shen Jiayan had stolen her moment.
So, she would create small surprises every now and then, proposing to Shen Jiayan to make up for the void in her heart.
Shen Jiayan also enjoyed it, and every time Su Sui’s proposal was successful, she would personally prepare a candlelight dinner for her.
The two lived happily.
They didn’t have to worry about food or drink and weren’t bothered by annoying matters.
Except for their daily essential work, they mostly stayed at home or basked in the sun on the balcony. Occasionally, they would go shopping for small items.
Although their days were simple, the couple’s affection grew deeper and deeper.
One day, they were strolling in a mall.
Shen Jiayan, holding Su Sui’s arm and feeling the soft flesh on her bicep, casually looked at a staggering toddler under one meter tall and said, “Wifey, let’s adopt a child.”
Hearing this, Su Sui stiffened.
“Hmm?” She turned to look at her, “Why the sudden idea?”
Shen Jiayan tilted her head, “Don’t you think children are cute? Besides, I want to be a mom too.”
Cute?
Su Sui felt Shen Jiayan had gone mad. To actually think little brats were cute. In her eyes, children were the most terrifying creatures in the world.
Especially for someone like her who had never enjoyed maternal love and care since childhood, she was even more afraid of the existence of children and even felt that a child would steal a part of the affection that belonged to her.
At that point, Shen Jiayan would only revolve around the child, a feeling that made her very uneasy.
Shen Jiayan seemed to notice the resistance in her eyes, “Don’t worry, I won’t neglect you because of a child. Let’s just adopt one, okay?”
As she spoke, she even held Su Sui’s wrist and acted coquettishly, “Wifey, please, okay?”
“Wifey… I want to be a mom…”
Su Sui sighed helplessly, “Do you really want to be a mom?”
“Mhm,” Shen Jiayan nodded, “Very much.”
In fact, this thought had been in Shen Jiayan’s heart for a very, very long time. To be precise, she wanted to adopt a little girl from the H City Welfare Institute.
She was only four years old, but in this four-year-old child, Shen Jiayan saw a shadow of Su Sui: gloomy, paranoid, and cold.
Perhaps out of guilt, or perhaps out of a genuine desire to help the child. In any case, Shen Jiayan wanted to adopt her, give her a warm home, and let her grow up healthy and happy, so she wouldn’t become a second Su Sui.
Su Sui hooked her finger towards Shen Jiayan, “Since you say so, come closer.”
“Huh?” Shen Jiayan leaned closer in confusion.
Immediately, Su Sui whispered something in her ear.
She widened her eyes and looked at the woman before her in disbelief, “Who wants to be your mom!”
She raised her hand and slapped Su Sui.
Su Sui was not to be outdone and shouted at the top of her lungs, “Mom, don’t hit me. I’ll be good, okay?”
Her voice was particularly loud, drawing the attention of passersby.
Shen Jiayan’s face flushed red, and she grabbed Su Sui’s collar, “You’re dead!”
But Su Sui clearly didn’t realize the seriousness of the situation and followed behind Shen Jiayan, continuously shouting “Mom.”
That night.
Su Sui was kicked out of the bedroom by Shen Jiayan and thrown into the bathroom.
Hugging a pillow, she looked at the closed bedroom door, “Wifey, the forecast says the temperature is dropping today. I’ll catch a cold if I sleep in the bathtub.”
The next second, Shen Jiayan’s voice came through the crack in the door, “Who’s your wifey? Say Mom!”
“Wifey…” Su Sui’s voice was full of grievance and a hint of a sob.
Shen Jiayan snorted, “Say Mom!”
“Wifey, I was wrong, please spare me.”
Shen Jiayan felt inexplicably lighter hearing Su Sui’s wailing.
Su Sui continued to cry out, “Wifey…”
“Say Mom.”
However, Su Sui’s wailing outside the door was so loud that Shen Jiayan couldn’t sleep peacefully. She reached into the nightstand drawer for a spitball, preparing to stuff it into Su Sui’s mouth.
But when she opened the door, she was immediately enveloped in Su Sui’s embrace, and before she could speak, her lips were sealed by Su Sui’s kiss.
Su Sui took the opportunity to press her against the door panel, kissing her passionately, not even giving Shen Jiayan a chance to struggle.
Her hands wrapped around her waist, her body pressed close to hers, as if trying to merge into her very blood.
Shen Jiayan was kissed until she couldn’t breathe and struggled for a while.
Su Sui let go of her, casually picked up the spitball, and licked it, “Wifey, you’re so thoughtful. You even prepared a little toy.”
Her expression was quite seductive, looking like she was asking for trouble. This made Shen Jiayan’s heart pound. She grabbed Su Sui’s collar and pulled her into the room.
Then, she roughly threw Su Sui onto the bed.
Shen Jiayan sat on top of her, bracing herself on the bed with both hands.
She leaned down and stared into her eyes, “Why aren’t you calling me Mom anymore?”
Su Sui blinked, wearing an innocent look, “That won’t do right now, the scene isn’t appropriate for… Mmmph”
Before she could finish speaking, she was silenced by Shen Jiayan’s kiss.
Her kiss was fierce and hurried, pressing down on Su Sui’s lips relentlessly as if venting.
Su Sui was momentarily stunned, then immediately took the initiative.
Shen Jiayan hadn’t expected her to fight back and momentarily forgot to push her away, having to let Su Sui have her way.
As they exchanged kisses, they unexpectedly entered an illusion.
In the illusion, they stood on a road flanked by barren hills, and the road seemed to have no end.
To find a way out faster, they decided to head towards opposite ends of the road in search of an exit.
They walked for a long, long time.
So long that their legs felt weak and their throats dry, they finally reached the end of the road, but it was covered by a stretch of inky black vegetation.
Su Sui and Shen Jiayan slowly approached, peeled back the dark vegetation, and faintly saw water flowing out from a gully.
Thirsty, the two rushed to the spring and greedily drank the sweet, delicious water.
But the spring water seemed endless instead, as they drank, it grew more and more abundant…
So much so that the hills on both sides of the road began to tremble, colliding with the air and emitting obscure, incomprehensible tones.
