Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 64
“I know you’re doing this to get revenge on that slut Su Sui for your father,” Shen Wenshan said slowly. “But I won’t blame you. After all, we are the real father and daughter. But you can’t do this to your own father for an outsider anymore.”
Hearing this, Su Sui couldn’t help but let out a scornful laugh.
“Mr. Shen, I think your mind isn’t working clearly,” she sneered. “I am Su Sui, and your daughter was already kicked out of the Shen family by you!”
“Shen Jiayan!”
“I’m not!” Su Sui retorted fiercely. “My surname is Su, and my name is Su Sui!”
Her voice grew more intense: “Shen Jiayan is your daughter! Why did you kick her out?”
Shen Wenshan argued back: “Don’t forget! If it weren’t for the Su family mother and daughter, you wouldn’t have suffered for so many years! Your mother wouldn’t have been killed by those two! Our family could have been happy forever!”
“Shut up!” Su Sui roared, her eyes turning red. “Why did Yang Xinjie die! Why did I suffer for so many years! You know better than anyone! And now you’re putting all the blame on Shen Jiayan!”
Su Sui was trembling with anger.
If it weren’t for Yang Xinjie’s diary, she might have actually believed the bastard in front of her.
Shen Wenshan, that scum, that scoundrel. First, he used the life of Yang Xinjie’s girlfriend to blackmail her into submission.
Then, he used her parents’ safety to confine Yang Xinjie in the villa, monitoring her at all times. He even resorted to violence at the slightest dissatisfaction, almost causing Yang Xinjie to miscarry.
The reason Yang Xinjie chose suicide was entirely because Shen Wenshan forced her to.
As for the matter of Su Lu switching the babies, Yang Xinjie had known about it early on. She let Shen Wenshan misunderstand and twist the truth about her.
She didn’t reveal the truth at all because of her selfish desire to let her (Su Sui) escape having a father like Shen Wenshan.
This resulted in Shen Jiayan bearing the suffering for her for a full 23 years.
She turned her head and looked at the man opposite her. “I don’t have a vicious father like you. You are not worthy of Yang Xinjie! Much less worthy of my respect!”
With that, Su Sui turned around and walked away.
“If you want Shen Shihao’s bone marrow, then stop!”
Su Sui stopped in her tracks. Shen Wenshan finally dropped his pretense.
She turned back to look at him: “What, Mr. Shen, are you trying your old tricks again?”
Shen Wenshan snorted coldly, “I’m just reminding you.”
“Oh, is that so?” Su Sui raised an eyebrow and gave a slight sneer. “Then thank you for the reminder, Mr. Shen.”
Shen Wenshan stared at Su Sui, his tone sinister, with a hint of threat: “If you want the bone marrow, you must cut ties with that slut Su Sui and stay by your father’s side obediently from now on.”
“Shen Wenshan, are you dreaming?” Su Sui scoffed. “What? You can’t control Yang Xinjie, so you’re transferring this disgusting need for control onto me?”
Shen Wenshan’s face changed drastically when he was exposed.
But Su Sui continued to mock him as if she hadn’t noticed: “Shen Wenshan, I am not Yang Xinjie. I have plenty of ways to deal with you, like that 25% of non-voting stock.”
Su Sui did not finish her remaining words.
But that didn’t stop Shen Wenshan, who had been active in the business world for many years, from understanding the implication.
25% of the non-voting stock meant that Su Sui was currently the largest shareholder in the Shen Group. If she sold these shares overnight, the market value of the Shen Group would definitely evaporate by 6 billion. And that was in US dollars.
Shen Wenshan’s gaze gradually darkened. He stared at Su Sui, his eyes sharp and cold, as if trying to pierce her heart and see her innermost thoughts.
After a moment, he slowly said, “Are you sure you want to oppose your father?”
Shen Wenshan tested cautiously, but Su Sui showed no sign of backing down.
She curled her lips into a cold smile, “If this matter involved Shen Jiayan, I might be willing to give you some face.”
She paused: “However… Shen Jiayan has already been thrown out by you, hasn’t she?”
“Heh!” Shen Wenshan let out a low, cold laugh. “Our father and daughter reaching this point is all because of her. I truly regret not having the heart to kill that slut back then. But, it doesn’t seem too late now.”
Su Sui looked up at him, her eyes firm: “Shen Wenshan, if you dare to harm a single hair on Shen Jiayan’s head, I guarantee I will make the entire Shen family pay the price!”
As she finished speaking, the office door was pushed open from the outside.
“He wouldn’t dare touch me,” Shen Jiayan said.
Su Sui turned back to see Shen Jiayan, followed by the good-for-nothing Shen Shihao covering his face, his eyes full of anger. “Uncle, I…”
Shen Wenshan was enraged to see him. “Get out!”
The wronged Shen Shihao was on the verge of tears. This 35+-year-old man had been slapped by two younger women one after another today. Being beaten was one thing, but now he was being scolded in public by his uncle.
He had never suffered such humiliation. He felt pain in his heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys, almost fainting. Yet, he could only grit his teeth and swallow the grievance, closing the door dejectedly to continue standing guard outside.
Shen Jiayan stepped forward and voluntarily took Su Sui’s hand. “Don’t be afraid, I’m here.” Her gentle, light voice carried a comforting warmth. “Mr. Shen, do you still remember your driver, Li Zhi?”
Su Sui only turned her head to gaze at Shen Jiayan, a faint smile playing on her lips.
Shen Jiayan seemed to notice her look, turned her head, and smiled back at her before continuing, “Back then, Li Zhi, under your instructions, sent me to a mental sanatorium. It was also that year that he often came to see me. Perhaps out of gratitude, when I left the sanatorium, he gave me evidence of your tax evasion and hiring thugs for forced demolitions over the years.”
“And this evidence is in my hands now.” A dark glint flashed in her eyes. “If anything happens to me, I guarantee that evidence will quickly end up in the hands of the police.”
Upon hearing this, Shen Wenshan’s face changed drastically.
He glared at the two of them, gnashing his teeth, “I really underestimated you two damned little wretches!”
Shen Wenshan narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint flickering within them.
He stared intently at Shen Jiayan.
Shen Jiayan met his gaze, neither submissive nor overbearing.
She knew what Shen Wenshan feared.
She curved her lips into a smile. “Of course, I also hope we can cooperate happily. I won’t state the terms, but you should know them.” After speaking, she pointed behind her, gesturing to the bone marrow inside Shen Shihao.
“As long as the bone marrow is delivered, I will immediately destroy that evidence. And, I will never bother you again,” she said lightly.
Shen Wenshan found it particularly jarring to hear.
“Don’t think you can threaten me with this! I tell you, even if I lose everything, I won’t let you have an easy time!” he said righteously.
Shen Jiayan, however, pursed her lips, turned to Su Sui, and said, “After driving all night, I’m a bit hungry.”
Su Sui naturally wrapped her arm around her waist, kissed her forehead, and said softly, “Okay, I’ll treat you.”
Shen Jiayan shook her head. “I don’t want to spend your money, I want to spend your father’s money.” After saying that, she didn’t forget to raise an eyebrow at Shen Wenshan.
She thought she had done enough to anger him. When Su Sui spoke, Shen Wenshan’s frame visibly shook.
Su Sui said, “I am your wife, so my dad is your dad. When he dies, all this money will be yours, spend it as you like.”
Seeing this scene, Shen Wenshan felt a splitting headache, trembling all over. But the two in front of him gave him no chance to lose control, flirting right in front of him before walking away.
These two were simply too much!
Shen Wenshan sat in his chair, his chest heaving violently with anger. He reached out a trembling hand to take out his cigarette case, pulled out a cigarette, and put it between his lips.
He took a deep drag and then suddenly puffed out a cloud of white smoke.
“Cough, cough, cough…” Shen Wenshan choked and coughed several times.
Shen Shihao hurriedly handed him a glass of water and patted his back, anxiously saying, “Uncle, slow down, don’t get too agitated!”
Shen Wenshan coughed for a long time before regaining his breath, his old face flushed red like pig liver.
“Shut up!” he roared angrily at Shen Shihao.
Shen Shihao flinched and shrank back to stand by the wall, not daring to make another sound.
Shen Wenshan gasped for breath, his chest shaking violently, and the muscles in his face trembled uncontrollably.
After a long while, he gradually calmed his emotions.
Shen Wenshan stared malevolently at the office door and snorted coldly, “You little wretches, we’ll see about this!”
Meanwhile, inside the SUV parked on the roadside.
Shen Jiayan sat in the passenger seat, leaning her head slightly towards Su Sui, her eyes sparkling like bright stars.
“Su Sui,” she called out softly.
“Hmm,” Su Sui responded.
“How did I do just now?” she asked, tilting her head up.
Su Sui smiled and said it was excellent.
Shen Jiayan blinked her eyes, “Then… are you still going to kick me out?”
“No.”
Shen Jiayan’s mood instantly brightened, and she couldn’t help but burst into a cheerful laugh.
The car cabin was instantly filled with her pleasant laughter, as if it carried a magical quality that stirred Su Sui’s heartstrings. She suddenly moved closer, pinched Shen Jiayan’s jaw, and kissed her.
This sudden intimate action stunned Shen Jiayan for a moment, but she quickly reacted, wrapping her arms around Su Sui’s neck and returning the kiss passionately.
Shen Jiayan closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of Su Sui’s lips, her heart pounding.
Su Sui kissed her gently, with tenderness.
She softly stroked Shen Jiayan’s cheek and murmured, “I’m sorry.”
Shen Jiayan made no sound, simply leaning quietly on Su Sui’s shoulder.
She knew Su Sui was apologizing for what she said at the villa last time, and also for the things she said on the phone a few days ago. However, she didn’t need her apology; what she needed was for the two of them to overcome difficulties together and face the storms of the future side by side.
Shen Jiayan looked up at the Shen Group building outside the window, a wave of resolve surging in her heart.
After all, given Shen Wenshan’s character, he would never give up so easily.
Moreover, she wouldn’t let it go so easily either; she was determined to save Gao Wei’s life.
Su Sui easily saw through her thoughts, pulled her into an embrace, and said softly, “I know, I will be with you.”
Shen Jiayan looked up at her, her eyes flowing with a warm luster. “Su Sui, thank you.”
…
In the living room, the atmosphere was frozen and stiff.
Fu Jing sat on the sofa, looking distraught. In her mind, she kept replaying the information she had just learned from the driver over the phone.
That girl named Gao Wei was discovered in the restroom of a hotel in City H, and the time Gao Wei was discovered coincided exactly with the time she abandoned her daughter!
She took a deep breath and asked solemnly again, “Did the police really say that?”
