My Ex’s White Moonlight Omega Has a Crush on Me - Chapter 28
Chao Wan shook her head, her expression flustered, with tears shimmering in her eyes.
She was still holding the milky-white dress in her arms. The fabric felt cool to the touch, but in this unspoken, ambiguous atmosphere, it seemed to burn with warmth.
She couldn’t possibly borrow underwear from Ji Tanyue. Besides, even if she voiced the request, the woman might not help her.
Wasn’t this clause in the contract designed precisely for her patron to witness her current embarrassment?
A canary, after all, was meant to be admired.
“If there’s no problem, go change.” Ji Tanyue’s tone was indifferent as she shifted her gaze back to the script.
She didn’t seem intent on watching Chao Wan, deliberately averting her eyes to give her some space.
Yet, Chao Wan’s heartbeat remained chaotic.
She recalled the paradox the woman had uttered earlier: “We’re both Omegas, so you can change here.”
Even if they were both Omegas, how could she casually let someone watch her change clothes?
Chao Wan’s cheeks burned. She pushed open the sliding door to the bathroom and hurriedly hid inside the enclosed space, locking the door as if to deceive herself.
Swish.
Leaning against the cool tile wall, she finally calmed down.
Battling shame, she didn’t dare look in the mirror. After steeling herself for a long time, she bit her lip and slowly removed her silk pajamas.
The bathroom glass was frosted, but a strip at the bottom remained transparent.
Her pale, slender legs reflected in the glass trembled slightly, her knees tinged with pink. After a rustling sound, they were concealed beneath the soft white hem of the dress.
Ji Tanyue silently withdrew her gaze, her long lashes lowering as she wrote a few words on the script.
Her pen trembled, the strokes crooked and messy.
Only two words were legible: “Chao Wan.”
Pressing her fingertips to her temples, she suppressed the surging heat within her. Ji Tanyue rubbed the beaded bracelet she had taken off and continued revising the script.
More than twenty minutes passed before the bathroom door was finally pulled open from the inside.
“Ms. Ji…”
A soft, timid voice echoed in the room.
Chao Wan covered her chest, her face flushed, the corners of her eyes even glistening with panicked tears. She stood at the bathroom doorway, too afraid to approach.
The dress accentuated her delicate, graceful figure. Her raven-black hair, smooth as feathers, cascaded obediently over her shoulders, which glowed with a purity brighter than the dress itself.
Ji Tanyue set aside the script, along with the annotation papers that had become chaotic ever since Chao Wan entered the room, neatly tucking them away.
“Come here.” She smoothed her hair and leaned against the bed in a relaxed posture, opening her arms.
“Let me hold you.”
Chao Wan was too embarrassed to speak, her feet rooted to the spot.
Tears fell uncontrollably, half from fear of her current helpless situation, half from the shame her own conscience condemned.
She never wanted things to be like this.
But there was no escape.
Chao Wan shuffled forward in her slippers, avoiding Ji Tanyue’s probing gaze, and reluctantly made her way to the bedside.
The dress was tight and narrow, making it impossible to move freely. The slightest movement risked exposing too much.
Ji Tanyue remained silent, simply watching her quietly.
At some point, the floral scent in the air grew intensely rich, so much so that even Chao Wan, with her inhibitor patch, could perceive it.
She trembled as she took a breath, feeling an oppressive tightness from within.
Her ankles weakened. The moment she reached Ji Tanyue’s side, she was gently pulled into the woman’s embrace, unable to break free.
“This dress suits you.” Ji Tanyue’s voice was soft and soothing near her ear.
Chao Wan wiped her eyes, attempting a small rebuttal: “But I don’t like it.”
Lulled by Ji Tanyue’s earlier indulgence, she seemed to have forgotten the perilous situation she was in.
Thus, when sharp canine teeth suddenly threatened the back of her neck, her body trembled like rain-battered leaves. She let out two panicked sobs.
“M-Ms. Ji…”
Ji Tanyue lifted her head from the sweet-scented nape and gently stroked Chao Wan’s small earlobe.
“I like it, and that’s enough.” An unreasonable reply.
She deliberately took pleasure in teasing Chao Wan. The threatening gesture lasted less than half a second before she withdrew, as if playing a biting game.
But Chao Wan’s entire body went limp.
She looked at Ji Tanyue with red-rimmed eyes, too afraid to pull away. Her voice carried a muffled nasality: “You’re an Omega too… You can’t bite people…”
Ji Tanyue’s eyes curved slightly as she held the gradually warming body, her expression meaningful.
She lifted her long, wavy hair, revealing a slender neck as pale as porcelain.
No inhibitor patch was there. The overwhelming floral fragrance made Chao Wan’s mind grow hazy.
“Then, do you want to get even?” she whispered seductively in Chao Wan’s ear.
Chao Wan stared blankly for a long moment before nodding as if bewitched.
Could… could she bite Ji Tanyue too?
Unable to resist the temptation, Chao Wan swallowed softly and slowly drew closer.
Until her cheek pressed against that slightly flushed skin.
It smelled wonderful, with a hint of faint incense and elegant sweetness.
Mwah.
How could she bear to bite? She could only plant a gentle kiss.
The sound was faint, yet in the bedroom where the temperature was steadily rising, it was unmistakably clear.
Suddenly, Chao Wan distinctly felt the arms holding her stiffen and tighten abruptly.
The world spun around her. In an instant, her perspective shifted. The gentle light from the ceiling lamp made her squint.
“Ms. Ji?” Chao Wan panicked, trying to struggle, but the overwhelming heat made her shoulders shrink back.
Ji Tanyue swiftly removed the inhibitor patch from the back of her neck.
“It’s a bite, not a kiss.” Her voice was hoarse.
But Chao Wan could no longer protest because, in the next second, Ji Tanyue suddenly clamped down on her gland at the nape.
Her vision blurred white, and she nearly lost her voice.
It felt like half a century had passed before Ji Tanyue pulled away, propping herself up to look down at her.
“This is your punishment.” She stroked Chao Wan’s burning cheek.
“Did you learn?”
Long, wavy hair brushed against Chao Wan’s face, tickling slightly and bringing a glimmer of awareness back to her dazed eyes.
Due to her earlier struggles, the lace-trimmed straps had easily left faint red marks on her skin. Combined with Chao Wan’s bewildered expression, it was undeniably provocative.
Ji Tanyue silently scanned those traces, a slight smile curling her lips.
She took Chao Wan’s hand and guided it to the dress strap. “Chao Wan, it’s time to fulfill the contract.”
Chao Wan stared blankly at Ji Tanyue, still not comprehending.
Only when the words whispered in her ear repeated the clauses from the file that were too embarrassing to say out loud did her cheeks suddenly burn.
After putting it on, it had to come off.
And she had to do it herself, under Ji Tanyue’s gaze.
A wave of grievance suddenly washed over her.
Chao Wan turned her head away, struggling to hold back the sourness in her nose. But she couldn’t help it—covering her face, she let out a few restrained sobs.
She didn’t want to.
“Don’t like it?” Someone gently uncurled her hand from her face, moving it aside. Cool, jade-like fingertips wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes.
After a long moment, the restraint eased.
The woman spoke softly, “Then we won’t do it for now.”
Chao Wan’s eyes were red, exuding a pitiable aura. Her wandering gaze seemed to ask Ji Tanyue—
Really?
Ji Tanyue nodded, then traced her thumb over Chao Wan’s pale, bitten lips, a faint, almost imperceptible tenderness flickering in her eyes.
The scent of lychee and freesia grew subtly lively, like the gradually brightening eyes of the girl beneath her, swirling and spreading in the air.
So sweet.
Chao Wan carefully tugged at the strap, using her arms to shield herself. She tilted her head in Ji Tanyue’s embrace and asked softly, “Then… Ms. Ji, can I take this off now?”
Tonight, Ji Tanyue was unexpectedly accommodating. She hadn’t faced much difficulty—it seemed like she had simply changed into a dress, been admired for a while, and was now free to leave.
She let out a soft sigh, waiting for Ji Tanyue to dismiss her, but her vision was suddenly obscured by cascading strands of hair.
Warm lips pressed against hers, entangling them.
The scent of tuberose enveloped her heavily, impossible to escape.
Her body, which had just cooled down, began to heat up again.
Her vision blurred with mist, oxygen slowly draining away. Chao Wan whimpered a few times, trying to push Ji Tanyue away, but with no strength to leverage, her arms merely hung limply around the woman’s neck.
Her vitality gradually increased, her consciousness growing hazy.
In her daze, it felt like she was kissed over and over, from her lips to more indescribable places.
Ji Tanyue didn’t make Chao Wan remove the straps herself; she chose to… do it for her.
What happened afterward was a blur to Chao Wan, only fragmented memories of being stripped bare, cool air rushing in, only to be replaced by even hotter kisses.
She seemed to be carried into the bathroom, standing before the mirror, watching two overlapping figures reflected in the steam-clouded glass.
One was clad in black silk pajamas, the other a figure in white, trembling faintly.
A soft, coaxing voice in her ear told her to be good, to kiss her willingly.
The rich floral scent permeated everything, like a gentle yet irresistible tide, slowly drowning Chao Wan.
The night passed exhaustingly, like trekking through an endless desert or sinking into an unfathomable sea. Only when she was completely spent was she finally released.
Her vitality increased by 1000H. Perhaps only the system knew how long their entanglement lasted.
The next day.
Chao Wan pushed back the covers, rubbed her eyes, and slowly sat up.
Her vision was blurry, and her eyelids felt slightly swollen.
After a long, sluggish moment, fragments of memory surfaced. She bit her lip, her thoughts drifting.
She had been changed into clean pajamas; the white dress that had caused her so much shame last night was nowhere to be found, not even in the wardrobe.
Chao Wan closed the wardrobe and, as if noticing something, walked over to the desk.
Ji Tanyue seemed to have left in a hurry this morning. The items on the desk were still messy, the blue folder no longer as neat as last night, piled atop a heap of clutter.
Opening it, those ambiguous clauses reappeared before her eyes.
Chao Wan’s cheeks burned. She hurriedly tried to close it, but her peripheral vision accidentally caught something.
Her eyes widened. After a moment’s thought, she flipped back to that page.
The second clause had been crossed out with a black pen, a small annotation written beside it.
[She doesn’t like it. Won’t do it next time.]
“…”
Chao Wan rubbed her eyes, thinking she had misread.
Her heart pounded loudly.
Suddenly, there was a soft knock on the bedroom door.
“Miss Chao.” A calm voice.
Opening the door, Yu Yunjia stood in the hallway outside.
She ignored the numerous marks on Chao Wan’s body as if they had never appeared or existed. “It’s already noon. Ms. Ji has gone to work and asked me to remind you to eat.”
Chao Wan gave a soft “mm,” feeling somewhat awkward as she hugged herself and followed the woman downstairs to the dining hall.
She ate the meal, whether breakfast or lunch, tastelessly. A phone was slid across the table, displaying a video call interface.
From Ji Tanyue.
“Miss Chao.” Yu Yunjia pressed the answer button and motioned for Chao Wan to pick it up.
“Please take it. Ms. Ji is calling you.”
