- Mistakenly Seen as a Scumbag by My Wife with Seven Personalities
- Chapter 12.1 - Wife, Secretary
Gu Fei leaned in shyly, burying herself in the other woman’s embrace. Her nose was filled with the rich, floral scent of roses clinging to Pei Yao.
She couldn’t help but lose herself in it.
“Wife, where did you hear about this method?”
After a long moment of flushed indulgence, Gu Fei wrapped her arms around Pei Yao’s waist and spoke softly, her fingertips instinctively employing the little trick she had learned from Pei Yao the night before.
A gentle flick.
It elicited a soft hum from Pei Yao, who was currently playing with strands of Gu Fei’s hair.
Pei Yao looked down at her for a moment, raising an eyebrow. Her voice was casual and laced with amusement.
“In a maternal and child health magazine.”
“Are you coaxing me like a baby?”
Gu Fei’s face turned beet red as she looked up in shock, feeling that if she continued, she would start to feel like she was a generation apart from her wife.
“Of course not.”
Facing Gu Fei’s embarrassed gaze, Pei Yao denied it with a laugh, her thumb gently brushing away the moisture from Gu Fei’s lips.
“If you don’t want to, then forget it.”
With that, Pei Yao made a move to get up and leave.
“Don’t go.”
Even though she could tell Pei Yao was teasing her, Gu Fei took the bait willingly. She wrapped her arms back around Pei Yao’s waist and buried her face back into her chest with deep attachment.
“I want to…” Gu Fei responded in a muffled, small voice.
“At least you’re honest.”
Pei Yao stroked her back gently, but her eyes held a look of deep, meaningful amusement.
Just as Gu Fei was getting lost in the moment again, Pei Yao leaned down, whispering softly against the tip of her ear.
“Baby, why are you biting so deep? I don’t actually have any milk for you to drink…”
“…”
In an instant, Gu Fei’s face turned so red she felt she might die of embarrassment. She almost started grinding her teeth against Pei Yao’s chest.
She knew it—her wife’s new identity was incredibly wicked.
She gave her a small, gentle bite. Under Pei Yao’s mock-reproachful yet smiling gaze, Gu Fei stared back with feigned composure.
“I’m not doing it for the milk…”
Pei Yao raised an eyebrow but didn’t speak, simply gesturing toward the damp patch on her chest.
“That’s a flirting technique. You taught it to me last night…”
Blushing at the “evidence” she had left behind, Gu Fei used Pei Yao’s lapel to help cover it up while searching for an excuse.
“I taught you to flirt so we could do ‘serious business,’ but isn’t President Gu… incapable?” Pei Yao countered with a calm, teasing smile.
“If we can’t be wives, being your mother is also—mmph.”
The outspoken Pei Yao was silenced by a kiss from the embarrassed Gu Fei.
Her lips curved into a successful smile as she took the initiative to entwine their tongues.
“Baby, be gentle…”
“Wife, don’t call me that.” Gu Fei pleaded in a small voice during a gap in the kiss, feeling utterly humiliated. “And whether I’m ‘capable’ or not actually depends on you…”
Having been questioned all night, Gu Fei couldn’t hold back anymore. She slightly flexed her knee beneath the quilt.
“Mm…”
Pei Yao quickly provided feedback right by her ear.
The sensation against her knee made Gu Fei’s heart stir uncontrollably. However, mindful of Pei Yao’s body, she hesitated.
“Wife, how do you feel?”
Pei Yao gave her a wordless look of desire and let out a laughing hum before biting Gu Fei’s ear.
“How am I supposed to feel anything if you haven’t even gone in yet?”
“Oh.”
No feeling meant it didn’t hurt anymore.
Having accurately obtained the key information, Gu Fei pressed a kiss to her neck and began proving with her actions that she was indeed very “capable.”
The sun was high in the sky.
Gu Fei poked her head out from the covers, silently removed the finger cots and tossed them onto the carpet, then considerately pulled Pei Yao toward the other side of the bed.
Looking at Pei Yao, who was leaning against her chest and breathing shallowly as she recovered, Gu Fei lightly kissed the tip of her ear.
“Wife, do you still think I’m incapable?”
Pei Yao’s brow twitched. Her face was flushed as she opened her eyes to look at her, a light smile playing on her lips as she rubbed Gu Fei’s fingertips.
“One time doesn’t seem like enough to judge. I wonder if President Gu can prove it to me once more?”
Understanding the blatant hint, Gu Fei’s eyes crinkled with a smile. She rolled over with Pei Yao in her arms and lowered her head to kiss her lips.
“I can.”
While Gu Fei continued to prove herself with a flushed face, Pei Yao’s vision grew hazy as she pressed light kisses to Gu Fei’s chin, her legs slightly bent beneath the quilt.
“I… misjudged President Gu… mm… you are clearly… incredibly capable…”
Receiving this affirmation, Gu Fei gave her neck a series of peck-like kisses with a mix of reserve and undeniable pride, not forgetting to give Pei Yao a guarantee.
“Wife, I can be capable for many more years. I won’t let you live a sexless marriage…”
“Mm…”
Pei Yao was no longer in the mood to listen to her talk. She hugged Gu Fei’s waist tightly, letting out soft, shallow gasps by her ear, the corners of her eyes tinted red.
“Good…”
When it finally ended, many finger cots had been discarded on the carpet by the bed.
Gu Fei, who was already sleep-deprived, was so exhausted she fell fast asleep. The two of them lay close together on the messy bed. Pei Yao’s body still bore a fine layer of sweat and the lingering traces of satisfied desire, but her spirit was exceptionally high.
She lay propped up on the pillow, tracing Gu Fei’s features in the air with her fingertip. The more she looked, the softer her heart became.
After a moment’s thought, Pei Yao sat up slightly and grabbed her phone, taking a photo of Gu Fei sleeping in her arms as a memento.
In Pei Yao’s memory, last night and today counted as the longest period she had spent with Gu Fei.
The first time they met was at Pei Yao’s house. She had just gone bankrupt then; even her only house was about to be mortgaged to the bank to pay off debts. That was when Gu Fei appeared.
Before that, Pei Yao had heard Gu Fei’s name more than once. Unlike herself, Gu Fei was a business genius whose companies were thriving. Unlike her, who was bad at management and so poor after bankruptcy she was nearly living on the streets.
When they first met, it seemed like Gu Fei fell in love at first sight. She didn’t just help Pei Yao pay her debts; she solemnly proposed to her.
At the time, Pei Yao thought Gu Fei was helping her purely out of lust—likely wanting her to be a “kept woman.” So when Gu Fei seriously proposed, Pei Yao was shocked.
After thinking for a few days, she accepted. There was no other choice; Pei Yao was exhausted by the bankruptcy and deeply mired in self-doubt, feeling she was worthless. Gu Fei’s appearance made her feel she still had some merit. Plus, besides relying on Gu Fei, she had nowhere else to go. At the very least, she wasn’t indifferent to Gu Fei. Getting a capable and beautiful wife for free wasn’t exactly a losing deal.
However, Pei Yao didn’t expect that Gu Fei would only appear once at their engagement banquet and then vanish for a long time. Pei Yao was left alone again, and her self-doubt and deep anxiety quickly led to mental health issues…
Just when she thought she had been abandoned again, Gu Fei reappeared. She called her “Wife,” was willing to cook late-night snacks for her, would gently coax and spoil her when she was angry, and would even let her check her phone without defenses, being almost entirely obedient…
How could Pei Yao bear to let such a person leave again?
Gu Fei and Pei Yao didn’t come downstairs until two in the afternoon. Although lunchtime had passed, Auntie Sun helped them prepare a lavish lunch. Especially seeing the invisible atmosphere of intimacy between the two, Auntie Sun couldn’t hide the gratified smile on her face.
Taking advantage of the moment Gu Fei came to the kitchen to help carry the dishes, Auntie Sun pulled her arm and teased her with a smile.
“You wouldn’t admit it yesterday, but now? Since when do ‘friends’ sleep together until the afternoon?”
Her face turned red. Gu Fei let out a shy smile and was about to explain, but remembering something, she first peeked toward the dining room. Seeing that Pei Yao was drinking water and not paying attention, she turned back and spoke to Auntie Sun in a low voice.
“I need to ask a favor. In a moment, please remember not to call her Ms. Song anymore, and try not to mention anything that happened yesterday.”
“Why is that? Then what should I call her?”
Auntie Sun was completely confused by Gu Fei’s words. After looking at the warmly smiling Pei Yao in the dining room, she suddenly seemed to realize something, and her face turned red.
“Oh my, you two are even involving me in your roleplay games! Xiao Fei, you’re getting more mischievous as you grow up!”
With that, Auntie Sun gave her a helpless pat on the back, muttering as she carried the food toward the dining room.
Gu Fei, having been “hit” for no reason, was dazed. she had no idea what Auntie Sun was imagining, but as long as she was willing to help, it was fine.
Checking the time, there was still some time before her 4 PM appointment with the doctor. Gu Fei stepped out slowly, thinking of a reason to go to the hospital alone. She didn’t intend to take Qin Qingwei with her yet, mainly because her current state wasn’t suitable for seeing a doctor. Mental illness is most sensitive to stimulation; Gu Fei was worried that rashly taking her to the hospital might cause secondary trauma…
Returning to the dining room full of worry, Gu Fei watched Qin Qingwei chatting happily with Auntie Sun and found herself lost in thought.
Pei Yao, unaware of Gu Fei’s concerns, was already hungry from not eating all morning. She praised Auntie Sun’s cooking as she ate. The two of them hit it off in no time.
“Aren’t you going to sit and eat with us?”
“No need, I’ve already eaten. You and Xiao Fei take your time.”
Gazing at Pei Yao with a smile, Auntie Sun reflected that now that they had “confirmed their relationship,” Ms. Song seemed much more relaxed than her restrained state yesterday. If anyone was to blame, it was Gu Fei—to think she let someone as introverted as Ms. Song take the initiative to chase her all the way home; her girlfriend almost slipped away…
While mentally criticizing Gu Fei for being inconsiderate, Auntie Sun warmly served some food for Pei Yao. “Here, dear, try this. This is my specialty; Xiao Fei loved it most when she was a child.”
Adhering to Gu Fei’s reminder and truly not knowing how to address her, Auntie Sun could only call her “dear” or “young lady.”
Gu Fei, eating silently, suppressed a smile and gave Auntie Sun a secret thumbs-up, receiving a roll of the eyes in return.
Their interaction went unnoticed by Pei Yao, but Auntie Sun’s warmth made her feel a bit shy. She spoke with a gentle smile as she ate. “Auntie, you can just call me by my name. Pei Yao or Xiao Pei is fine; it feels closer that way.”
“Oh, alright…”
Just as Auntie Sun was hesitating over whether she could use that name, Gu Fei’s eyes lit up upon successfully obtaining her wife’s new name.
She repeated the name “Pei Yao” in her mind twice, wondering which characters were used, while discreetly giving Auntie Sun another thumbs-up. This left the out-of-the-loop Auntie Sun completely bewildered.
Thanks to Auntie Sun’s accidental help, as lunch was nearing its end, Gu Fei finally thought of a good reason to go to the hospital.
“Auntie Sun, I just remembered. I have an important meeting on the 15th. Why don’t we move your acupuncture treatment for this month up to today?”
Once she started lying, Gu Fei learned how to keep going. She “clumsily” began her performance.
The other two, unaware of the truth, didn’t suspect a thing.
“It’s okay, go do your work. I can go by myself when the time comes.” Auntie Sun waved her off in refusal, twisting her waist slightly before tapping her forehead. “Oh, right! I almost forgot if you hadn’t mentioned it. Wait a moment for me…”
With that, the energetic Auntie Sun hurried back toward her room.
In the dining room, Pei Yao chatted with Gu Fei while eating after-lunch fruit. “What acupuncture treatment?”
