- Chapter 10 - Wife, Not Capable?
Her throat moved slightly. Gu Fei cast a glance toward the lower part of her belly, her eyelashes trembling as she adverted her gaze.
“I’ll cook some late-night snacks for you.”
They had just applied the medicine before sleep, and Gu Fei knew Qin Qingwei’s body hadn’t recovered yet. Now was not a good time for intimacy.
“…”
Watching Gu Fei’s back as she turned to find ingredients in the fridge while tidying her collar, the politely rejected Pei Yao gradually sobered from her desire.
Gu Lian’s words from earlier continued to echo in her mind, causing Pei Yao’s eyes to narrow slightly.
She embraced Gu Fei from behind, her hand slowly reaching toward the collar Gu Fei had just straightened.
“What? Is it because you spent all your energy on other women that you’re no longer interested in me?”
Along with Pei Yao’s slow, low voice, Gu Fei felt a sharp pinch.
“No, it’s not like that.”
The strength she was using to hold the refrigerator door slackened instantly. Shamed and anxious to deny it, a layer of fine sweat broke out on Gu Fei’s forehead.
Due to the stimulating sting, her left palm gripped the fridge door tightly, her fair and slender knuckles straining. Gu Fei was too ashamed to even look down.
“I’m just… really tired from work, truly…”
As she spoke, Gu Fei’s face turned beet red. She reached out to cover Pei Yao’s hand, pleading for her to let go.
If she kept pinching, Gu Fei felt she would definitely end up swollen too.
Because she faintly sensed that Qin Qingwei was currently in a “new identity,” and recalling the previous times she had “suddenly angered” her, Gu Fei had reached an understanding. When Qin Qingwei was in a new persona, it was best not to mention the other identities or anything that happened during those times.
While whispering pleas for mercy, Gu Fei silently “noted down” Qin Qingwei’s rough behavior in her heart. Once her wife’s condition improved, she would reclaim all these “tortures” with interest.
“Don’t… Wife…”
Just as Gu Fei was distracted by her own thoughts, Pei Yao followed her lead and loosened her grip.
But before Gu Fei could breathe a sigh of relief, she felt Pei Yao switch to a new tactic.
A light flick of the finger.
Gu Fei’s cheeks instantly turned a deep crimson, as if they were about to bleed.
“You…”
Because it was too stimulating, Gu Fei’s eyes involuntarily welled with moisture.
Staring into those soft, reddened eyes, Pei Yao couldn’t help but press Gu Fei against the refrigerator.
“It’s just flirting. Who told you to say you were tired?”
As she spoke, Pei Yao proactively guided Gu Fei’s hand to her own waist belt and pressed a lingering kiss on Gu Fei’s fingertips.
“Darling, you can’t let me down.”
“I…”
Her eyelashes fluttered non-stop, and a teardrop that had been hanging from her lashes finally fell. It landed in the slightly open collar of the Pei Yao who was pressed against her, sliding slowly down her soft skin.
“So hot…”
As Gu Fei lowered her eyes with a crimson face, Pei Yao hooked her neck with a smile, rubbing that tear back onto Gu Fei’s chest.
The look in Pei Yao’s eyes was like a hook, causing Gu Fei to lower her head uncontrollably. The strands of hair atop her head brushed against Pei Yao’s chin, making her let out unconscious, shallow gasps from the tingling sensation.
Gu Fei partook a little deeper.
Pei Yao, however, was not satisfied with her shallow soothing.
“Like I did just now—don’t you want to treat me like that?” Pei Yao nibbled on the tip of her ear, urging her on.
Blushing, Gu Fei bit her lip and slowly began to explore.
As Pei Yao’s gaze grew increasingly hazy, Gu Fei thought dizzily to herself: It seems I don’t need to wait until later to “get justice” from my wife, because I’m already being spun around in circles by her right now.
When she was coaxed by Pei Yao to squat down, Gu Fei held her calves, finally managing to regain a sliver of reason from the intoxicating desire. Looking at the delicate skin before her, she blushed and helped Pei Yao pull her half-removed clothes back on.
“…”
Leaning against the edge of the island, Pei Yao, who had been ready to reach a climax, opened her eyes in confusion.
“Wife, I… I’m really a bit tired today.”
Under her direct gaze, Gu Fei spoke in a small but determined voice, avoiding eye contact. “Let’s just go upstairs and sleep.”
Sensing the silence in the air, Gu Fei’s voice grew smaller and smaller. She had a premonition that she was definitely going to make her wife angry again tonight.
But to her surprise, Pei Yao didn’t say much. She calmly pulled Gu Fei up from the floor, carefully inspected Gu Fei’s complexion, and rubbed her thumb against the corner of her mouth with a complex expression before finally responding quietly.
“I understand.”
Just as Gu Fei was smiling, happy with her wife’s understanding, she was frozen in place by Pei Yao’s next sentence.
“You’re only twenty-five and you’ve already reached the point of being ‘willing but unable.’ What are we going to do in the future?”
With that, Pei Yao let out a melancholy sigh. Even her back as she turned to leave seemed to radiate regret.
“I’m not even thirty yet, and I’m already forced into a sexless marriage. Sigh…”
“…”
As Pei Yao walked further away, watching her figure disappear upstairs, Gu Fei felt a strange sense of being mocked. She fought back the urge to chase her, throw her on the bed, and prove herself. Instead, she took a deep breath, feeling like she wanted to cry but had no tears.
By the time Gu Fei had sorted out her feelings and washed the empty plates to head upstairs, Pei Yao was waiting for her in the bedroom.
Looking at Pei Yao sitting cross-legged in the middle of the bed, Gu Fei moved her lips, deciding to clear the air.
“Wife, it’s not that I’m ‘willing but unable,’ I just…”
“Just what?”
While Gu Fei was still weighing her excuses, Pei Yao cast a casual glance at her and held up two identical phones.
“Which one is yours?”
The two identical white phones were in her hands. Gu Fei instinctively walked closer to distinguish them.
“The one in your right hand.”
“Oh…”
Pei Yao tossed the other phone aside and pulled Gu Fei onto the bed by her wrist. “Can I look at it?”
Startled, Gu Fei nodded, her train of thought completely derailed. “You can.”
With a silent smile, Pei Yao, who had been waiting for this response, tapped the lock screen. “What’s the password?”
“Your birthday.” Gu Fei answered every question directly as she sat beside her.
Her fingertips paused. Pei Yao raised an eyebrow slightly and gave a soft hum before entering four digits. Gu Fei could see that Pei Yao seemed satisfied with her answer.
A smile appeared on Gu Fei’s lips as she put an arm around her waist, acting spoiled. “Wife, I’m really not ‘incapable’…”
Beside her, however, Pei Yao’s expression soured as the words “Incorrect Password” appeared on the screen.
Without responding to Gu Fei, Pei Yao calmly entered her birthday again. The result was still “Incorrect Password.”
At this moment, Gu Fei was busy being affectionate and was completely unaware of what was happening.
“Wife, are you really not hungry anymore?”
Willing to do anything except for actual intimacy, Gu Fei had already sprawled across Pei Yao’s lap, her face ducking into the hem of the bathrobe. As she spoke, her lips were nearly pressed against the skin of Pei Yao’s abdomen.
Her voice sounded muffled and incredibly cute.
Pei Yao looked down at her with a complex expression, reaching out to perfunctorily rub her head. After a moment of thought, she switched to the other phone. After all, since both phones were the same color and model, it was understandable if Gu Fei had identified it wrong.
As she continued to try the password, Gu Fei bit into the rose again.
At the same time, Pei Yao, having successfully unlocked the phone, tilted her thigh slightly in a good mood to allow Gu Fei to eat a little deeper.
