I Got A Girlfriend After Losing My Memory (Transmigration) - Chapter 31
Tao Ran knelt beside her, taking the bag of clothes from Tang Fuzhi’s hands. She emptied the contents, selecting two items to return to the closet and refolding the rest into the bag. “We’re only going for a few days. You don’t need to pack so much.”
Next, she reorganized the suitcase, packing the essentials and leaving a third of the space empty.
Tang Fuzhi watched Tao Ran’s efficient movements with awe.
Tao Ran smiled, patting her head affectionately. “You taught me this, you know.”
Tang Fuzhi blinked, staring at Tao Ran, now a seasoned suitcase-packing expert. “Was I really that good at this before?” she asked, her voice tinged with disbelief.
When Tao Ran nodded firmly, Tang Fuzhi’s earlobes flushed faintly. She glanced away, a hint of smugness curving her lips. “I always knew I was amazing,” she murmured, though she couldn’t remember it. Still, that didn’t stop her from accepting Tao Ran’s praise.
Tao Ran closed the suitcase and checked the time. It was almost time to leave.
Tang Fuzhi noticed Tao Ran checking her watch. Her initial pride instantly deflated. She clung to Tao Ran’s arm, sullenly escorting her to the door.
Though she knew Tao Ran had important business and couldn’t delay her work, after all, the company depended on Tao Ran’s leadership, emotionally, she struggled to accept it.
As they reached the entrance, He Ruo was already waiting with her luggage.
Xu Rujia, seeing them emerge, quickly set down her dessert. Her soft, cute appearance belied a surprisingly robust voice as she greeted, “Good morning, President Tao!”
Tang Fuzhi’s eyes lit up at the sight of Xu Rujia. She tightened her grip on Tao Ran’s arm, her tone growing more affectionate. “Let Xu Rujia drive you to the airport.”
Xu Rujia, acutely aware that her primary mission was to protect Tang Fuzhi and stay by her side at all times unless Tao Ran was present, immediately waved her hand in refusal. “I can’t, President Tao said protecting you takes priority above all else.”
While she didn’t mind fooling around in private, with the boss standing right in front of her, she needed to maintain a professional demeanor.
Xu Rujia missed Tang Fuzhi’s subtle hint, but Tao Ran, who had known Tang Fuzhi for so long, understood instantly. She lowered her gaze to meet the younger woman’s bright, expectant eyes, a knowing smile playing on her lips. “You’ll drive,” she instructed Xu Rujia.
Tao Ran immediately understood Tang Fuzhi’s meaning. As if connected by telepathy, a sweet smile crept onto Tang Fuzhi’s lips as she tightened her grip on Tao Ran’s arm.
Xu Rujia, seeing Tang Fuzhi still clinging to Tao Ran’s side, instantly realized what Tang Fuzhi had been hinting at. She wanted to slap herself.
These lovey-dovey lovebirds just want more time together, she thought. I’m just a single dog who doesn’t understand romance.
They piled into the car. Xu Rujia took the driver’s seat, He Ruo sat in the passenger seat, and Tao Ran and Tang Fuzhi settled in the back.
Just as Xu Rujia was about to start the engine, the privacy partition between the front and back seats rose, blocking all visibility. Her lips twitched. She hadn’t expected this move.
In that brief moment before the partition rose, Tang Fuzhi could almost see Xu Rujia’s teasing glance. Her cheeks flushed slightly as she glared playfully at Tao Ran. “What are you doing?” she protested.
With the partition up, even if they did nothing, they’d be misunderstood.
Tao Ran chuckled softly, pulling the girl into her arms. Tang Fuzhi’s legs parted involuntarily, forcing her into a half-kneeling position facing Tao Ran.
In that position, Tang Fuzhi’s long skirt had ridden up, leaving her bare skin, save for her panties, pressed against Tao Ran’s thigh.
Tang Fuzhi instinctively braced her hands against Tao Ran’s shoulders, creating a small space between them.
Tao Ran murmured close to her ear, “I don’t want them to see.”
The car’s interior was much smaller than the office, and the crisp scent of cedarwood filled Tang Fuzhi’s nostrils, as if she were completely enveloped by Tao Ran’s presence.
With the windows closed, the confined space made Tang Fuzhi’s mind momentarily blank. Her soft voice mumbled, “But… but if we do this, they’ll misunderstand.”
Tao Ran cupped Tang Fuzhi’s face in her hands, her gaze earnest. “It’s not a misunderstanding.”
Tang Fuzhi looked up, puzzled. “What?”
The next moment, she understood. Tao Ran had kissed her.
Warm lips pressed against hers, Tang Fuzhi’s breath hitched as she felt the woman’s slick tongue invade her mouth.
Meeting Tao Ran’s upturned, peach-blossom eyes, Tang Fuzhi suddenly grasped her meaning.
It’s not a misunderstanding.
They were indeed about to do something Xu Rujia and He Ruo couldn’t see.
Noticing Tang Fuzhi’s distraction, Tao Ran grew slightly impatient. Her sharp teeth gently nipped at the corner of Tang Fuzhi’s lip. Drawing on past experience, she controlled her bite, keeping it within the range that would cause a slight sting without breaking the skin.
“Hiss…”
Tang Fuzhi snapped back to reality and glared at Tao Ran.
But she didn’t resist. Instead, she closed her eyes, savoring Tao Ran’s presence.
After all, they were about to part ways, for at least three to five days, possibly a week.
Tang Fuzhi missed her deeply.
Newly reunited lovers, about to be separated again, they kissed fiercely. The car window reflected their entwined figures, clinging to each other as if unwilling to part.
How long had passed? Tao Ran finally released Tang Fuzhi.
Tang Fuzhi felt as if she were drunk, her mind blank. Her cheeks and neck flushed crimson, her amber eyes glistened with tears, giving her an innocent and pure look. A trace of moisture lingered at the corner of her lips. Her chest rose and fell with each breath as she collapsed weakly into Tao Ran’s arms.
The zipper of her dress had been pulled down, barely clinging to her shoulders, threatening to slip off at any moment. Her hands clutched the fabric of Tao Ran’s chest, her legs involuntarily pressed together, clamping Tao Ran’s thigh as if yearning for something more.
Tao Ran was in no better state. Her usually alluring peach blossom eyes burned crimson, brimming with desire. She held Tang Fuzhi tightly, her fingers curled inward, restraining herself. “Why are you so easily overwhelmed by a kiss?”
Tao Ran’s hand gripped Tang Fuzhi’s neck, pulling her closer. Her rosy lips parted slightly as she gently licked away the water droplets at the corner of Tang Fuzhi’s mouth.
Tang Fuzhi instinctively shrank back, but Tao Ran’s grip held her firmly in place. She could only lower her gaze, forced to watch Tao Ran’s deliberate movements.
Tao Ran’s focused expression was as serious as if she were working in her office, yet her dark eyes remained locked on Tang Fuzhi’s. Tang Fuzhi could clearly see the slender curve of Tao Ran’s neck as she swallowed, drawing the moisture from the corner of her lips down her throat.
A tremor ran through Tang Fuzhi’s body, her limbs growing increasingly weak.
Soon, Tao Ran pulled away from Tang Fuzhi’s lips, reaching up to stroke her hair as she silently waited for her to recover.
Fortunately, the road was long, giving Tang Fuzhi ample time to regain her composure.
When she finally came to her senses, her first instinct was to punch Tao Ran. Why did she kiss so forcefully? My lips still hurt!
The girl’s skin was so delicate that even a pinch could leave a red mark, let alone her tender lips. And Tao Ran, completely lacking self-control around her, had kissed her with unrestrained ferocity.
As if she hadn’t kissed anyone in five hundred years!
But as soon as Tang Fuzhi raised her hand, she sensed something was wrong.
Tao Ran had already braced herself for a playful swat from the girl. After all, the girl’s strength was slight; her strikes felt more like affectionate teasing than actual blows.
But just as the girl’s hand was about to fall, it froze mid-air. Tao Ran raised an eyebrow. “What’s wrong?”
Tang Fuzhi’s cheeks flushed even hotter. She stiffly withdrew her hand, so mortified she wanted to burrow into the ground.
But Tao Ran was still right beside her, and she wouldn’t let her play dead.
“What is it? Did I squeeze too hard and hurt you?” Seeing Tang Fuzhi’s silence, Tao Ran panicked slightly. Her first instinct was to strip off the girl’s dress to check beneath the lake-blue fabric.
Tang Fuzhi immediately pushed Tao Ran away, clutching her chest as if afraid her dress would slip. Her eyes, red-rimmed, stared at Tao Ran with an expression of profound grievance.
Meeting Tao Ran’s concerned gaze, Tang Fuzhi’s pent-up frustration finally spilled over. “M-my bra… it’s undone.”
During their passionate kiss, she had been completely swept away by Tao Ran’s control. At first, she retained some awareness, but as oxygen deprivation gradually clouded her mind, her thoughts dissolved into blankness. She hadn’t noticed when Tao Ran had not only unfastened her dress but also undone her bra.
She was still just a 23-year-old girl, and that soft, tender place had never been touched by anyone.
Even last night in the bathroom, Tao Ran had only kissed the red mole on her chest, never truly touching her softness.
Though Tao Ran had already withdrawn her hand, Tang Fuzhi still felt a warmth on her chest, as if an invisible hand were kneading her there, in such a place!
The cramped back seat offered no privacy, and people were passing by outside, making her feel as if they could see right through the tinted windows.
Tang Fuzhi had never felt so humiliated.
Seeing the young woman on the verge of tears, Tao Ran quickly pulled her into her arms and explained, “The car windows are specially designed. You can see out, but no one can see in. Don’t worry.”
Tang Fuzhi glanced outside just as the car stopped at a red light.
A sleek black luxury car pulled up beside them. The driver, dressed impeccably as if heading out for a night of fun, leaned over to glance in Tang Fuzhi’s direction.
Tang Fuzhi froze instantly. Her body felt weak all over, her dress barely covering her chest, revealing a patch of snow-white skin on her back. Her cheeks flushed crimson, and tears welled in her eyes as she knelt on Tao Ran’s lap. It was obvious what had just transpired between them.
Sensing her tension, Tao Ran reached out to pat her back reassuringly, her hand landing on the smooth, cool skin.
Tang Fuzhi stiffened even more.
Fortunately, the driver in the car opposite them seemed to notice nothing, averting his gaze back to the traffic light.
Tang Fuzhi finally exhaled in relief.
Tao Ran brushed a stray strand of hair behind Tang Fuzhi’s ear, a smile playing on her lips. “Feeling better now?”
It was precisely because she knew the car windows were tinted that she dared to do such things inside.
How could she ever let anyone else see Tang Fuzhi like this?
Only when the light turned green and the car started moving again did Tang Fuzhi’s tense muscles begin to relax slightly.
The bareness of her back felt strange, and her unfastened bra was uncomfortable.
Tang Fuzhi reached behind to fasten the clasps. Perhaps due to her lingering nervousness, or perhaps because the earlier kiss had drained her energy, her limbs felt weak. What was usually a simple task suddenly seemed impossible.
Sweat began to bead on Tang Fuzhi’s forehead. Tao Ran stood silently before her, watching her struggle, only intensifying her nervousness. In her fluster, she fumbled and fastened the wrong hooks again.
Completely absorbed in fastening her bra, the young woman didn’t notice her dress had slipped down to her waist, exposing her jade-like skin to Tao Ran’s gaze. Nestled between her breasts was that familiar red mole, intensely alluring. Faint red marks lingered on the soft flesh around it, remnants of Tao Ran’s earlier touch.
Tao Ran’s breath quickened. The contrast of snow-white skin against those crimson marks, Tang Fuzhi’s natural beauty intertwined with the marks she had left, ignited Tao Ran’s possessive desire.
In that moment, the faint red marks were more than just marks; they were her name, a silent declaration that the girl she held so dear was hers.
Following Tao Ran’s increasingly heated gaze, Tang Fuzhi finally noticed her exposed upper body. She instinctively reached to cover her chest, but her bra remained unfastened. Giving up now would only risk further exposure.
Desperate, Tang Fuzhi pleaded softly, “Tao Ran, help me.”
The young woman’s usually bright eyes were now brimming with tears, making her look utterly pitiful.
In the past, such an expression from Tang Fuzhi would have melted Tao Ran’s heart, and she would have agreed to anything.
But in this moment, with Tang Fuzhi’s clothes half-undone and her eyes red-rimmed, Tao Ran suddenly didn’t want to help her anymore.
She reached out to stroke the young woman’s amber eyes, wiping away the tears at the corners.
They felt a little too warm.
Tang Fuzhi clearly hadn’t expected Tao Ran, usually so gentle, to be so cruel in this moment, refusing her pleas. The hurt in her eyes threatened to spill over.
Tao Ran’s heart tightened. She couldn’t bear to see Tang Fuzhi so distressed. With a sigh of resignation, she lowered her hand.
If I’m going to help, I might as well do it properly.
Initially, Tang Fuzhi had only wanted Tao Ran to fasten her bra. She figured she could adjust the fit herself later. But then Tao Ran’s hand slid down from her cheek, moving directly to her soft breasts.
Tao Ran’s slender fingers adjusted the white bra over the delicate flesh, completely enveloping it. Tang Fuzhi felt her heart pounding so hard it might burst from her chest.
Tao Ran’s hand rested over Tang Fuzhi’s left breast, naturally feeling the rapid thumping of her heart beneath. She chuckled softly, “What’s making you so nervous?”
Tang Fuzhi pressed her lips together, refusing to answer. She silently turned her head away, unwilling to acknowledge Tao Ran.
Hmph, don’t think I don’t know you deliberately refused to help me earlier.
Tao Ran smiled, knowing the little girl was still holding a grudge over her initial refusal.
After adjusting her position, Tao Ran finally fastened the bra hooks at Tang Fuzhi’s back and zipped up the dress. She smoothed out the fabric, making sure everything was in place, before releasing her.
Tang Fuzhi tried to wriggle off Tao Ran’s lap, finding the position uncomfortable, but Tao Ran’s arms tightened around her waist. She glared at Tao Ran, “Let me go.”
Tao Ran held her close, inhaling deeply. The sweet, delicate scent of white tea mingled with the milky fragrance of her chest, creating an intoxicating aroma. “We won’t see each other for at least three or five days after this.”
Tang Fuzhi’s heart softened. She missed Tao Ran too, but she still resented her initial refusal to help.
Even though Tao Ran eventually fastened the bra hooks.
A lingering awkwardness remained, but she no longer resisted Tao Ran’s closeness, nor did she take the initiative herself.
