How Can Two Scummy Alphas Fall in Love - Chapter 12
Chapter 12
That night, Han Fufu stayed at Qin Qiao’s house. After a taste of the forbidden fruit, they proceeded to explore the human activities that are endlessly engaging.
Initially, Han Fufu was content to let Qin Qiao take the lead, but later, she wanted to experience Qin Qiao as well and flipped them over, pinning Qin Qiao beneath her.
“Fufu, what are you doing?” Qin Qiao was visibly surprised to be dominated for the first time. She grabbed Han Fufu’s forearm, her eyes wide.
Han Fufu leaned in close to Qin Qiao and whispered something in her ear.
Qin Qiao, who was initially reluctant, was quickly softened by Han Fufu’s few words.
Qiao Qiao, I want you too…
In the soft, warm light, Han Fufu’s blonde hair slowly spread out, twinkling with faint highlights.
Qin Qiao was momentarily lost in thought. She closed her eyes, her brow twitching, and acquiesced as if admitting defeat.
This was the first time they were together while fully conscious.
Whenever Han Fufu’s sandalwood pheromone brushed past Qin Qiao’s face, a subtle, different emotion would flash in Qin Qiao’s eyes.
Han Fufu was so immersed in the pleasure that she didn’t notice it at all.
She didn’t notice that subtle, “different” emotion, which would leave an irreparable mark on her…
As the top-tier Alpha pheromones mingled, Han Fufu lay beside Qin Qiao, her hand resting on Qin Qiao’s pale shoulder.
“Qiao Qiao, let’s stay like this forever, okay?” Han Fufu’s voice was soft and seductive, the final note carrying a hint of spring fever.
Qin Qiao’s phoenix eyes slightly lifted. She turned her head to look at the incredibly beautiful face of the person beside her, then quickly looked back at the ceiling. “If this satisfies you, it’s fine by me. I’ll listen to you.”
“Really?” Han Fufu sat up, leaning directly onto Qin Qiao. “Then should we move in together?”
“Distance makes the heart grow fonder. If we lived together, I’d constantly control your smoking, and wouldn’t you just get angry again?” Qin Qiao used a casual excuse to refuse.
Han Fufu thought Qin Qiao’s concern wasn’t entirely baseless. There wasn’t much difference between living together and not, as they could still meet every few days.
“Being with you makes me feel comfortable,” Han Fufu nestled back against Qin Qiao. Her heart was beating very fast.
She was genuinely afraid that her thunderous heartbeat would reach Qin Qiao’s ears.
She was also afraid…
Afraid to greedily speak the word “love.”
“Fufu.” Qin Qiao stole a glance at Han Fufu, then suddenly propped herself up, facing the person beside her.
Han Fufu looked at her. “Hmm?”
“Do you think we are friends?” Qin Qiao asked.
Han Fufu hesitated. “What… are you trying to say?”
“I think we have a relationship that transcends that of lovers.” Qin Qiao narrowed her eyes, wearing a half-smile.
Han Fufu was stunned, followed by an endless rush of emotion…
Since Han Fufu’s birth, Qin Qiao had been by her side. After so many years of companionship, she had only thought of her as an indispensable friend.
It wasn’t until the belated affection filled her entire heart that Han Fufu understood what true love was.
She would do anything to monopolize Qin Qiao.
“Qiao Qiao, having you say that is enough.” Han Fufu closed her eyes, falling asleep beside Qin Qiao in complete relaxation.
By the time the sky outside was completely dark, Han Fufu was already in dreamland.
But Qin Qiao, lying beside Han Fufu, suddenly opened her eyes. She slowly sat up, then got out of bed and walked to the window.
Qin Qiao lit a cigarette and, with the window open, held the cigarette, puffing on it bit by bit.
She occasionally glanced at Han Fufu’s defenseless face, momentarily forgetting to bring the cigarette to her mouth.
Just looking at her, Qin Qiao’s heart faintly trembled.
However, the cigarette ash grew longer and then dropped, falling directly onto the back of Qin Qiao’s other hand.
The searing pain instantly chilled Qin Qiao’s eyes.
She couldn’t allow herself to waver even slightly.
The night was chillingly quiet.
Han Fufu slept until dawn. She reached out her hand to feel beside her, but met only empty space.
“Hmm?” Han Fufu opened her eyes. The other side of the bed was empty and cold. Qin Qiao seemed to have left some time ago.
Really, why is Qin Qiao so busy?
Han Fufu pouted, displeased, and sat up. She habitually glanced at the nightstand, looking for a hair tie to gather her hair. Her eyes immediately landed on a note, which read, “I went to work. Remember to eat breakfast.”
At the bottom of the note was a small winking emoji.
Though initially in a bad mood, Han Fufu’s lips gradually curved into a smile upon seeing the small note.
Her good mood for the day began with the small note Qin Qiao left. Han Fufu was cheerful and radiant when she arrived at work.
A few gossipy junior employees gathered, whispering amongst themselves.
“Is CEO Han dating again?”
“Aiya, CEO Han often encounters beautiful Omegas. I’ve never seen her smile so happily before.”
“Who knows?”
Han Fufu’s hearing was excellent. She was perfectly aware that people were discussing her behind her back, but she was in such a good mood that she didn’t care.
Han Fufu spent the morning in her office, clearing up some accumulated work.
Just as she was about to take a break, she saw her assistant, Cong Sheng, enter with a pile of things.
“Great. I don’t get a break yet,” Han Fufu sighed.
Cong Sheng gave an awkward smile. “CEO Han, a lot of things piled up while you were filming.”
“Didn’t my brother handle any of this?” Han Fufu placed her pen on the desk.
Cong Sheng looked troubled. “Well… Manager Han has been unreachable recently. I heard from others that he went to the coastal area.”
“The coastal area? Is there a new project that requires going to such a place?” Han Fufu couldn’t understand why her useless older brother had traveled so far for a business trip without telling her beforehand.
If he stirred up any trouble, it would be a real headache.
“I didn’t dare to ask. Manager Han only told me not to inquire,” Cong Sheng paused. “He just said it was a good project that would bring in a lot of money.”
“Forget it. With his watered-down brain, he’ll only cause trouble for our family.” Han Fufu was deeply irritated, recalling the frustrating projects her brother had worked on in the past. She had a feeling her brother was up to no good this time. “Not one reassuring thing. It’s bad news every day.”
Cong Sheng comforted her. “No, CEO Han, there is some good news.”
“Hmm? What is it?”
“Miss Xu Ran has woken up from her coma. Although she seems a bit mentally unstable, it has been confirmed that someone else intended to harm her. Therefore, those trending topics about you have fallen apart.” Cong Sheng said.
Hearing this, a weight lifted off Han Fufu’s mind. “Good. That’s good. Our film crew can resume shooting. That really is good news.”
“Um… but there’s one more thing…” Cong Sheng hesitated to speak, but he had no choice.
Han Fufu hated when people hemmed and hawed. She said impatiently, “Just spit it out.”
“It’s like this. Madam has requested you bring someone back for a family dinner tonight.” Cong Sheng saw Han Fufu’s face slightly change and immediately explained, “I know you’re busy, and I tried to push it off with Madam several times, but I really couldn’t get out of it this time.”
Han Fufu massaged her forehead. After a moment, she nodded at Cong Sheng. “Alright, I understand.”
As for bringing someone back…
An idea popped into Han Fufu’s mind. She realized that if she brought that person home, her mother definitely wouldn’t be able to say anything.
Thinking of this, Han Fufu couldn’t help but secretly smile.
Cong Sheng saw his boss’s unpredictable mood swings and dared not say anything further. He placed the work on the desk and left.
After the assistant was gone, Han Fufu picked up her phone and called Qin Qiao.
The phone rang for half a minute before Qin Qiao finally answered.
“Hello?”
Han Fufu cleared her throat. “I have an urgent favor to ask you.”
“What is it?” There was some noise on Qin Qiao’s end.
Han Fufu had a little trouble hearing her. “Where are you? It’s so noisy?”
Qin Qiao quickly walked to a quieter area. “I’m inspecting the film studio our company is preparing. What is it? Tell me.”
“Oh, my mother misses you and wants me to bring you home for dinner,” Han Fufu’s voice showed no tension when she lied.
“Sure. I don’t have plans tonight anyway.” Qin Qiao agreed readily.
Hearing Qin Qiao agree so quickly, Han Fufu simply said, “Good luck with work,” and hung up.
She knew Qin Qiao would never refuse an invitation from her family.
This was because, long ago, the Qin family was nothing and relied entirely on the powerful Han family’s support to enter the capital’s high society.
In the past, there was no concept of the “Four Great Families” of the capital; there was only the dominance of the Han family.
Han Fufu’s grandfather was a respected veteran official with deep roots.
As the family passed down to Han Fufu’s father’s generation, the Han family faced some decline due to the pressure of various other forces.
Before Han Fufu was born, everyone believed the Han family’s power would wane under Han Fufu’s older brother.
It was bad enough that her brother was a Beta, but he was also mischievous and unruly as a child and never took anything seriously in school.
Later, the Han family finally had Han Fufu, an Alpha. Since Han Fufu was a promising talent, the Han family finally avoided a continued decline and was able to secure a leading position among the Four Great Families.
However, Han Fufu didn’t care about these matters. She only wanted to stabilize the family business and live her own life.
She at least didn’t want to be constrained by the family.
Thinking about having to return to the family estate that evening, Han Fufu had no choice but to finish all her work that afternoon.
Leaving work early, Han Fufu headed to meet Qin Qiao first.
They agreed to meet downstairs at the office building to leave together.
Upon meeting, Han Fufu noticed that she and Qin Qiao were wearing women’s suit sets of the same style but different colors.
Han Fufu had left Qin Qiao’s house that morning. Not having a change of clothes, she had casually grabbed one from Qin Qiao’s wardrobe. Since their figures were quite similar, Han Fufu wearing Qin Qiao’s size didn’t feel too loose.
Qin Qiao raised an eyebrow. “You have good taste. You chose my favorite style.”
“Is this called being telepathic?” Han Fufu really wanted to say they looked like they were wearing couple’s attire.
Qin Qiao spoke exactly what she was thinking. “I think they look like couple’s attire.”
Han Fufu pursed her lips into a smile and joked, “If you think it looks like a couple, then I might just openly take you home to meet the parents.”
