How Can Two Scummy Alphas Fall in Love - Chapter 13
Chapter 13
It was night, and the Han family old residence was brightly lit.
The maids were lined up by the entrance early, awaiting the arrival of the guests. Madam Han sat in the garden, drinking tea and waiting for her daughter to return.
Han Fufu and Qin Qiao shared a car and arrived before the appointed time.
Han Fufu got out first, asking Qin Qiao to wait in the car for a moment.
Seeing her daughter return, Madam Han was overjoyed and hurried to the door to greet her.
“Fufu, you’ve finally come home. No matter how busy you are, you can’t always stay away. I’m here alone, and you don’t even come back to spend more time with me.” Madam Han couldn’t help but wipe a tear as she spoke. “Your father, he’s still lying in the hospital, and we don’t know when he’ll wake up.”
Han Fufu’s father had accidentally fallen from the thirteenth floor while surveying a construction site earlier.
Fortunately, there was sand below to cushion the fall, so he wasn’t killed instantly, but he became a vegetable. The day of his awakening was nowhere in sight.
“Didn’t I ask my brother to come back and spend more time with you? I don’t know why he ran off to the coast. I’m really worried he’ll cause trouble,” Han Fufu said helplessly.
Madam Han spoke a few more words, then noticed Han Fufu’s car was still parked there, with a faint presence of someone inside. Her eyes immediately lit up. “Fufu, did you bring someone back?”
“Yes, I did. Didn’t you ask me to?” Han Fufu replied.
Madam Han took her daughter’s hand and happily asked, “Which family’s Omega is it? Oh, as long as you like them, even an Omega from an ordinary family is fine.”
Han Fufu walked towards the car, opened the door, and said to the person inside, “Come out. Let Mom have a look at you.”
As soon as the words fell, a pair of long, straight legs touched the ground first.
Madam Han thought, This young lady has really long legs. She seems taller than Fufu.
So my daughter likes tall Omegas.
Before Madam Han could think further, Qin Qiao stepped out of the car.
“Auntie, hello. Long time no see. Are you keeping well?” Qin Qiao walked up to Madam Han, held her hand, and offered warm greetings.
Madam Han’s smile froze for a moment, but upon seeing it was Qin Qiao, she immediately put on a warm, enthusiastic face. “Qiao Qiao, why are you here?”
“I heard Fufu say you missed me, so I came,” Qin Qiao was particularly adept at speaking to elders, and her expression was not as cold as usual.
Madam Han smiled kindly at Qin Qiao, but when she turned to look at her daughter, her eyes flashed with reproach. As Qin Qiao walked inside first, Madam Han reached out and lightly poked Han Fufu’s forehead. “I asked you to bring someone back, and you brought Qiao Qiao to see me? You really know how to seize an opportunity.”
“Mom, I still brought someone back, didn’t I?” Han Fufu shrugged. “Isn’t Qiao Qiao good? If she were an Omega, you’d be eager for me to marry her, wouldn’t you?”
“Well, she’s an Alpha now. You can’t marry her even if you wanted to,” Madam Han complained, but she didn’t consider the possibility of her daughter being interested in an Alpha. She was still wrapped up in her own fantasy. “I consulted a great astrologer. This year, you’re definitely going to have great progress with your ‘True Destiny.’ It’s strange, the master said your ‘True Destiny’ has been around for a long time. Why haven’t I heard you mention anyone you’ve been close to for so many years?”
“Mom, don’t listen to those people. They might be fooling you,” Han Fufu said, but inwardly, she couldn’t help but apply the astrologer’s words to Qin Qiao.
Qin Qiao turned back and saw the mother and daughter chatting animatedly behind her. She walked back a few steps and helped Han Fufu escort Madam Han inside.
Once inside, Madam Han and Qin Qiao chatted a lot at the dining table, maintaining a very warm rapport.
She genuinely liked Qin Qiao, after all, she had watched the child grow up. Besides, how could someone as outstanding as Qin Qiao fail to win the favor of an elder?
Han Fufu felt relieved seeing how much her mother liked Qin Qiao.
If she had brought back any other friend, she didn’t know how much nagging she would have to endure from her mother.
Dinner was full of joy and warmth. Madam Han treated Qin Qiao just like her own daughter.
After the meal, Qin Qiao originally planned to leave early but was held back by Madam Han.
“Don’t leave. There are so many empty rooms here. You and Fufu can stay the night and keep me company,” Madam Han sighed, covering her cheek. “Aiya, I don’t usually have anyone close to keep me company.”
Since her mother had gone so far, Han Fufu figured if Qin Qiao stayed, she would stay too.
Madam Han immediately called the servants to prepare a room. Han Fufu stopped them. “Mom, don’t bother. It’s just for one night. Qiao Qiao and I can share a room.”
She then gave Qin Qiao a look, signaling her to say something as well.
“Auntie, Fufu and I will just squeeze together. It’s only for one night, don’t go to any trouble,” Qin Qiao walked to Madam Han’s side. “Auntie, you should rest early.”
With a few reassuring words from Qin Qiao, Madam Han actually agreed and went to her room to rest with a smile.
A servant standing by looked at Han Fufu. “Miss, shall I tidy up your room?”
“No need. And no one is to disturb our rest later,” Han Fufu said, then took Qin Qiao upstairs.
In the room upstairs, Qin Qiao’s expression became slightly strained.
Seeing this, Han Fufu immediately took out the pheromone transformation instrument bracelet from her small purse.
Since the switch malfunctioned last time, Han Fufu had already asked Director Liu to modify it.
“Qiao Qiao, come here. Let me help you,” Han Fufu put on the bracelet and invited Qin Qiao over.
Qin Qiao desperately needed Omega pheromones now, especially the scent she favored.
And Han Fufu’s scent was exactly what Qin Qiao wanted.
The two tumbled onto the bed together.
It wasn’t until the latter half of the night that they were “satisfied” and lay together.
“Qiao Qiao, does my pheromone smell better when it’s an Omega’s?” Han Fufu asked.
Qin Qiao turned to look at Han Fufu. “It’s nice. I wish you were an Omega.”
Han Fufu was silent for a moment, then spoke again: “If… I said, if I were willing to change my gland for you…”
“What madness are you talking about? You’re perfectly fine as you are. I like you very much.” Qin Qiao was getting sleepy and squinted her eyes. “Let’s sleep.”
After Qin Qiao turned her back, Han Fufu pressed against her back, the idea growing stronger in her heart.
She wanted to change her gland for Qin Qiao.
If she could be with Qin Qiao forever, she was willing to give up her noble top-tier Alpha gland, switch to an Omega gland, and be subservient to Qin Qiao.
She truly liked Qin Qiao. This gradually evolving emotion would only deepen with time.
After careful consideration, Han Fufu slowly drifted off to sleep, leaning against Qin Qiao.
After Han Fufu fell asleep, Qin Qiao opened her eyes, moved away somewhat disdainfully, and slept toward the other side of the bed.
Since returning to the family estate that day, Han Fufu had been secretly inquiring about gland transplant surgery. This matter couldn’t be made public; her family and friends would certainly not allow her to suddenly change from an Alpha to an Omega.
Once the thought of changing her secondary gender took root, Han Fufu sent people to inquire at the best hospital.
After all the arrangements were made, Han Fufu was still slightly uncertain about whether to go through with the transplant.
During this time, she was busy filming and consulting about the gland change and hadn’t contacted Qin Qiao.
She missed Qin Qiao terribly, so she decided to visit Qin Qiao’s office to give her a surprise.
On the afternoon the filming wrapped up, Han Fufu changed clothes, dressed up, and went straight to Qin Qiao’s company.
Just as she arrived downstairs and was sitting in the car adjusting her hairstyle in the mirror, her gaze shifted, and she saw Qin Qiao returning from outside.
Accompanying Qin Qiao into the company was another woman. The woman was petite, with a delicate, soft face, the type that was both cute and pitiful.
Han Fufu wasn’t sure if the woman was an Omega or another gender, but the mere sight of Qin Qiao standing with another woman was already unbearable for her.
Just as Han Fufu was wondering who the woman beside Qin Qiao was, the woman smiled and directly looped her arm through Qin Qiao’s. The two walked side-by-side into the company.
Han Fufu felt incredibly uncomfortable. She sharply turned the steering wheel and drove in the direction of her home.
She didn’t want to see Qin Qiao anymore. She didn’t want to witness Qin Qiao being so intimate with someone else…
Once home, Han Fufu immediately made a call, instructing her subordinates to investigate the identity of the woman who had appeared at Qin Qiao’s company that afternoon.
It wasn’t long before Han Fufu received a compressed file.
Inside were the woman’s details and some insider news her subordinates had uncovered.
The woman was Fu Qiao, the illegitimate daughter of the Fu family.
However, the head of the Fu family was particularly fond of this daughter. It was said that she was born to him and the Omega he truly loved, so he cherished her exceptionally.
Information showed that the head of the Fu family gave the bulk of the company’s shares to the heir but gave the rest of the shares to this illegitimate daughter.
Fu Qiao had been raised abroad by the head of the Fu family since birth and had only recently returned to the country. Her identity was only publicly disclosed recently.
So, it was perfectly normal for Han Fufu not to recognize her.
The reason Qin Qiao met with Fu Qiao was because Qin Qiao had been going on blind dates recently. Although Qin Qiao’s marriage was arranged by the head of the Qin family, Qin Qiao treated Fu Qiao with extra consideration.
Seeing this, Han Fufu couldn’t help but sneer. “An illegitimate daughter with that amount of shares—would Qiao Qiao even look her way?”
“Qiao Qiao definitely wouldn’t care for her, definitely…” Han Fufu said this aloud, but her slightly trembling fingers betrayed her uneasy heart.
That night, Han Fufu suffered from insomnia again.
As she tossed and turned, unable to sleep, Han Fufu’s mind repeatedly replayed the image of Qin Qiao holding another Omega’s hand.
It was a dark, long night, filled with confusion and agony for Han Fufu.
It wasn’t until the sun rose and the sunlight illuminated the earth that Han Fufu finally drifted into a shallow sleep on the bed.
The phone, dropped on the carpet, was open to the appointment page of a certain hospital.
Han Fufu sent a message to the attending doctor for the gland transplant.
—Doctor, I’m certain about changing my gland. Please schedule the surgery.
