Honey, Open The Door. I Want To Give You The Room Key - Chapter 45.2
Hearing Lou Qingshuang’s call, Su Hua gave a soft snort and stood up to redouble her efforts. “Could I trouble you all to help me carry these two down?” Su Hua said to the group of chirping, swallow-like little Omegas around her.
“Sure thing, Sister Su Hua!” everyone said in unison. Then, two people supported Su Hua while the remaining four helped Shang Qing and Liu Yu. Everyone prepared to leave the room in a lively bustle.
Bai Wan stared wide-eyed at the drunken Shang Qing, who was smiling foolishly at the person beside her. She was so angry she started laughing.
“Shang Qing, if you dare follow them, we’re breaking up right now.” Bai Wan’s beautiful face turned icy cold as she looked at the dazed person.
Lou Qingshuang stood to the side and said nothing, her eyelids lowered. However, Liu Yu sought out the pheromones on her own and moved toward her.
“Lou Qingshuang?” Liu Yu looked at her with scattered, drunken eyes. Her body was swaying and weak. She painfully rubbed her temples.
“Thanks, I don’t need help,” Liu Yu said, turning her head toward Gu Zhao, who was supporting her.
Gu Zhao looked at Liu Yu’s face and reluctantly let go of her arm, casting a sour glance at Lou Qingshuang. Gu Zhao was the one who had spent a long time observing Lou Qingshuang at the banquet; she liked Liu Yu too.
Who wouldn’t like Liu Yu?
She was a person in power at such a young age, standing on equal footing with their fathers’ generation—even their fathers had to be very polite when they saw her. To marry Liu Yu would surely be a happy thing. Her looks and her Alpha rank were the strongest in their circle.
Lou Qingshuang looked at Liu Yu standing beside her, rubbing her forehead. Although Lou Qingshuang said nothing, her expression softened slightly.
Walking in front, Su Hua didn’t see the situation with the people behind her. She had already done all she could; the rest was up to Liu Yu and Shang Qing themselves.
“Didn’t expect to help that little girl Shang Qing by accident,” Su Hua muttered.
Shang Qing pressed her head against the wall, waiting for Bai Wan to help her. Bai Wan walked up to her, looked her up and down, and seeing no traces of anyone else, was begrudgingly satisfied.
“Thank you, I’ll take her home now,” Bai Wan said with a forced expression of thanks to the two young Omegas who had been helping her.
“Hahaha, you’re welcome! We were paid!” The two laughed and joked as they left.
Gu Zhao saw Liu Yu standing still by Lou Qingshuang and had no choice but to leave with her friends, looking back longingly as she went.
“You’re dead lucky,” she left behind a sour remark as she passed Lou Qingshuang.
Lou Qingshuang ignored her, turning back to look at Liu Yu, who was frowning and rubbing her forehead. She pinched her fingers together, wondering how to get Liu Yu away. It wasn’t that she liked Liu Yu; she just didn’t want Liu Yu to pick up a bunch of people during their agreement period—she would find that dirty.
Liu Yu frowned impatiently. She reached out and grabbed Lou Qingshuang’s hand. “Let’s go.”
Lou Qingshuang looked at her hand being held and tried to pull it back. Unexpectedly, she pulled the already unstable Liu Yu right onto herself, the two of them standing pressed together.
Liu Yu simply put her entire body weight onto Lou Qingshuang; she was truly too dizzy.
“I feel bad, I want to throw up,” Liu Yu murmured against Lou Qingshuang’s ear, her breath smelling strongly of alcohol.
Her head dropped onto Lou Qingshuang’s shoulder. Her hot breath spilled onto Lou Qingshuang’s neck, raising a layer of goosebumps.
Lou Qingshuang shivered and turned her head to push Liu Yu’s face away. “Let’s go.”
Liu Yu stood behind and watched Lou Qingshuang walk away. She rubbed the space between her brows and didn’t follow. She stood in place, waiting for Lou Qingshuang to look back.
Lou Qingshuang had walked a distance before realizing Liu Yu hadn’t followed. She turned around to see the usually very dignified Liu Yu leaning against the doorframe of the private room with her eyes closed, motionless. Her head was tilted against the frame, her hair covering half of her face. In her dark red dress, she stood tall yet lonely.
She seemed to have always been very lonely.
Seeing that she wasn’t moving and there was no one else around—Bai Wan had already left with Shang Qing and the other girls were gone—Lou Qingshuang had no choice but to walk back alone to the front of Liu Yu.
“Let’s go, I’ll take you down to find your bodyguards,” Lou Qingshuang said, her voice a bit stiff.
“I didn’t bring bodyguards.” Liu Yu took a step forward and pressed her body weight onto Lou Qingshuang.
Lou Qingshuang suddenly took the weight of someone heavier and taller than herself. Her body kept moving backward until she was pressed against the wall. Her head was protected by Liu Yu’s hand, so it didn’t hit the wall.
The two were eye-to-eye. Liu Yu looked at her with blurred, drunken eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering. Gone was the high-and-mighty air of the past, replaced only by a moist, hazy gaze.
Lou Qingshuang looked at her and took a deep breath, looking away to stop staring at her. “Let’s go, I’ll help you back.”
Liu Yu pressed against Lou Qingshuang’s neck, her hair burying into it as well. “Mm.”
Lou Qingshuang pushed Liu Yu to make her stand properly, then helped her into the elevator. When they exited, someone came over to help, but they were all scared off by Liu Yu’s cold face.
It wasn’t until they reached the parking lot that Lou Qingshuang realized Liu Yu’s bodyguards and car were nowhere to be found.
Lou Qingshuang reacted instantly. She turned her cold eyes toward Liu Yu, really wanting to let go of her hand.
Liu Yu, unaware of her thoughts, opened her arms and hugged Lou Qingshuang, sniffing her scent. “Fragrant.”
“Heh.” Lou Qingshuang led her, stumbling, toward her own car.
She shouldn’t have gone; she should have let someone else pick Liu Yu up.
“Stand a bit steadier.”
“Mm.”
Liu Yu was draped entirely over Lou Qingshuang. In a place Lou Qingshuang couldn’t see, the corner of Liu Yu’s mouth curled up slightly, though the smile was quickly swept away by dizziness.
Lou Qingshuang put in a lot of effort to get the person into the car. She leaned against the car window, panting for breath. Looking at Liu Yu, whose long legs were curled up pitifully, she gave a cold snort and slammed the door shut with a “bang.”
Lou Qingshuang sat in the driver’s seat and adjusted Liu Yu’s position so her long legs had room to stay.
Lou Qingshuang saw that Liu Yu’s long hair was stuck to her face, covering her eyelashes. The dark red dress was already wrinkled. This was probably the most disheveled Liu Yu had ever been.
Liu Yu felt as if she were walking on clouds, stepping deeply and then shallowly. Occasionally, she felt like she had fallen into a rose garden, smelling the fragrance of roses.
Lou Qingshuang put in a great deal of effort to get the person back to the house on the 19th floor. As they passed, the security lady asked several times if they needed help, but Lou Qingshuang refused each time. “No thank you, ma’am,” she said, supporting the person herself.
Liu Yu didn’t like others being close; if someone else helped, there would only be more trouble later.
Lou Qingshuang hooked her arm around Liu Yu’s waist and brought her into the community. Since this old community had no underground garage, she had to support Liu Yu all the way from the parking lot to the house.
Lou Qingshuang also had to endure the harassment of Liu Yu’s pheromones. The cold rose scent was like a net of a thousand threads wrapping around Lou Qingshuang, making her face flush—it was more excessive than being a hooligan!
Whenever they passed someone, Lou Qingshuang had to bury her head and walk, fearing she would be recognized tomorrow. Releasing pheromones in the street could lead to being arrested. “Liu Yu, control yourself,” Lou Qingshuang whispered through gritted teeth near Liu Yu’s ear.
Liu Yu: What are you babbling about? Nuzzle nuzzle.
Lou Qingshuang felt the head nuzzling against her ear. She had no choice but to keep supporting her. Fortunately, it was already the early hours of the morning and there weren’t many people.
Lou Qingshuang dragged Liu Yu toward the house. Ten minutes later, they finally arrived. She impatiently dumped the person onto the sofa.
However, Liu Yu pulled her down with her. They both fell onto the sofa with a “thud.” Lou Qingshuang ended up lying on Liu Yu’s chest, looking at the half-messed-up dress where a black shoulder strap was exposed.
Lou Qingshuang’s face turned red at the sight of the beauty’s shoulder. Once drunk, Liu Yu was actually quite well-behaved; she lay on the sofa and didn’t move anymore. Her long eyelashes curved upward, and her three-dimensional, atmospheric features had softened.
Lou Qingshuang lay on top of Liu Yu, quietly watching her face. The cold rose fragrance also faded as its owner fell asleep, though it still seemed to hook onto Lou Qingshuang’s fingertips, pulling at her as if afraid she would leave.
Lou Qingshuang watched for a good while before getting up from Liu Yu. She took off Liu Yu’s shoes, removed her makeup, covered her with a thin blanket, and returned to her own room.
