Honey, Open The Door. I Want To Give You The Room Key - Chapter 45.1
Liu Yu leaned against the sofa, gazing at the dim, yellow light. “I saw her at a banquet last winter…”
As Su Hua listened to Liu Yu’s sharing, her facial expressions became quite animated and vivid; for a moment, she didn’t know what to say.
“So, when someone else was holding out a sincere heart and wanted to try things out with you, you just directly escaped?” Su Hua said, hitting the nail on the head.
Liu Yu nodded. “Don’t scold me, I know I was wrong.”
Su Hua took a deep breath and even pinched her own philtrum to steady herself. “Do you know how lucky a thing it is to meet someone with a 100% match rate?”
“I know now.” Liu Yu moved the hand covering her eyes and looked toward Su Hua.
“Was that drone fireworks show from a few days ago you’re doing?” Su Hua suddenly asked.
“Yeah, it was a birthday gift for her.” Liu Yu felt very satisfied thinking about the fireworks patterns she had personally designed; she knew Lou Qingshuang must have seen them.
“Does she know, then?” Su Hua asked curiously.
“I don’t know either,” Liu Yu squeezed out those five words.
Looking at her distressed appearance and then at the already drunk Shang Qing, Su Hua felt a massive headache coming on. Out of the three of them, she was the only one who had started a family.
Su Hua thought for a moment and quietly dismissed the bodyguards at the door. She intended to give Liu Yu a helping hand; based on her observations just now, the other party wasn’t entirely without feelings.
“Come on, come on, have some wine.” Su Hua poured Liu Yu a glass of whiskey, persuading her to drink glass after glass.
Two hours later, Liu Yu was dead drunk.
Liu Yu, who had never been drunk before, collapsed under Su Hua’s relentless persuasion. She slumped against the armrest of the sofa, her hair covering half of her face, curled up obediently in a corner to sleep.
Shang Qing sat on the sofa with a wooden expression, giggling foolishly. “Hehehe…”
Su Hua drank until her head was spinning and her vision was blurred. Everywhere she stepped on the floor was spilled wine; if not for that, she would have collapsed long ago.
Su Hua, who usually dressed in a simple and elegant manner, was now filled with heroic bravado. She wobbled over to the private room opposite to find someone to help.
The door to the room where Lou Qingshuang was drinking and chatting was suddenly knocked upon. The person sitting by the door stood up and opened it, only to see a refined and beautiful Alpha with a flushed face smiling at her. In an instant, it struck the strings of her heart.
“Is there something I can help you with?” The Omega who had been laughing wildly a moment ago suddenly spoke in a soft, high-pitched voice.
“Hello, I’m looking for someone. Her girlfriend is drunk; let her come and take her away.” Su Hua’s eyes were dull; anyone could see she had drunk too much.
“Ah?” Jin Xian turned around to look at the group. Had one of her sisters in this crowd left the single life? How come she didn’t know?
“Whose girlfriend is drunk? Come see if you recognize this person,” Jin Xian shouted back, staying at the door herself while letting the others come over to look.
Lou Qingshuang was chatting with someone, but when she looked up, she saw Su Hua waving at her—the person who had been standing beside Liu Yu.
Lou Qingshuang’s brows furrowed slightly, but she didn’t get up. Bai Wan looked at Su Hua and was startled—how did this person end up here? Wasn’t she the one who loved her wife the most? Bai Wan subconsciously turned her head away; after all, this had been one of her former potentials arranged marriage partners.
“Which one of you is her friend’s girlfriend? Hurry up and get a security guard to pick her up,” Bai Wan turned her head back and said in a stream of words.
“She is Liu Yu’s friend. Liu Yu helped me out of a bind just now,” Lou Qingshuang had no choice but to turn and explain.
“Oh my, is this person trying to force a connection? Just helping out of a bind and she becomes a girlfriend?” Bai Wan immediately turned back upon hearing the gossip.
Several beautiful Omegas sitting next to Lou Qingshuang also crowded over. “Shuangshuang, tell us about it. You’re successful in your career now and you’re single, hehehe.”
That lewd laughter made the others cringe, yet they all flocked over regardless.
Lou Qingshuang pressed her hand to her forehead; she hadn’t wanted to mention this precisely because of this group of gossip maniacs.
“I was blocked at the door by the young master of Jiaxing just now.” Once Lou Qingshuang said this, everyone understood.
“That idiot again. He’s been suppressed by his sister to the point where he can’t make any waves. His father has already given up on that son,” the little princess of the Li family said with disgust, mentioning recent circle gossip.
“He’s caused so much trouble. Half of Jiaxing’s rotten reputation was caused by him,” Bai Wan said pointedly.
Su Hua, leaning against the door and watching the motionless Lou Qingshuang, raised an eyebrow. “It seems no one is her girlfriend. Then I’ll find her one right now.” Having said that, she wobbled away.
Lou Qingshuang heard it but made no move, continuing to speak with the others with a normal expression. Bai Wan gave her a special look.
Su Hua returned to the private room and took out her phone to see which family’s little Omegas were around. She was a “friend of Omegas” and could find many helpful, tight-lipped little Omegas to assist.
“I don’t believe you won’t be jealous,” Su Hua muttered, her head heavy and muddled.
Liu Yu opened her eyes with difficulty and said to Su Hua, “Call my bodyguards up to take me back.”
“Heh, go back for what? Big sister is going to give you an assist today,” Su Hua murmured with a drunken slur.
It was unclear if Liu Yu understood. She leaned distressed against the sofa, looking like a “drunken beauty”—truly an alluring sight.
“What a pity big sister isn’t an Omega; otherwise, with you looking like this, who knows how many Omegas would pounce. So beautiful, it’s hard to say who would be taking advantage of whom.” As Su Hua spoke, she reached out and stroked Liu Yu’s face.
Coincidentally, Lou Qingshuang pushed open the door and saw her action.
Su Hua turned to look at the displeased Lou Qingshuang standing at the door. Her vision was scattered, and in the dim light, she couldn’t see the person clearly at all. “Who are you? Is something wrong?”
However, Liu Yu’s pheromones recognized her. After getting drunk, the pheromone blocking patch had loosened a bit, and a small amount of pheromones leaked out, clinging to Lou Qingshuang.
Lou Qingshuang felt the pheromones wrapping around her—delicate and charming, as if they were drunk too.
“Who are you?” Su Hua peered over with a squinted, drunken eye.
At this moment, Bai Wan also pushed the door open and entered. “Shuangshuang, did you find the person?”
As soon as Bai Wan entered, she saw a certain silly, grinning fool. She covered her face once again. An arranged marriage prospect and an ex-girlfriend who hadn’t completely broken up—how did they all end up in one room?
Like a puppy, Shang Qing’s nose twitched in Bai Wan’s direction. Once she was certain someone was there, she closed her eyes and shouted, “Wanwan!”
Lou Qingshuang heard it clearly and looked in surprise at her best friend who was turning around, trying to slip away.
“Didn’t you say you didn’t want to find an Alpha? That you wanted to focus on your career?” Lou Qingshuang raised an eyebrow and asked with her arms crossed.
“That was an accident,” Bai Wan laughed sheepishly.
Su Hua watched the two people at the door babbling about who-knows-what. Her drunkenness had reached its peak, and she planned to help Liu Yu and Shang Qing up and leave.
Just then, the people Su Hua had called arrived.
“Excuse us, please.” Dainty voices came from behind Lou Qingshuang and Bai Wan.
The two watched the group of Omegas arrive and instinctively stepped aside to let them file in like a school of fish.
“Zhaozhao, you’re here. Let me introduce you to someone. Do you like Liu Yu?” Su Hua said with a thick tongue.
Lou Qingshuang watched the girl she had seen at the banquet walk to Liu Yu’s side. Her eyes turned cold, and she clenched her fingers tightly as if something of hers was being tainted.
“Liu Yu.” Lou Qingshuang called Liu Yu’s name. In her daze, Liu Yu opened her eyes, felt the world spinning, and closed them again.
