Hold Tight to the Female Lead's Thigh [Transmigration GL] - Episode 46
On the bustling and lively main street, two beautiful young women strolled hand in hand. One of them possessed such breathtaking beauty that no one—whether young or old, male or female—could tear their eyes away from her. As a result, collisions with walls and tumbles onto the street were unusually frequent that day, keeping the local pharmacy busier than ever.
“Senior Sister, would you like some?” Taohua smiled, offering a glistening candied hawthorn skewer to her.
Having spent so much time with Guan Fusha, she had long grown accustomed to such reactions. Ignoring them was the simplest approach.
Guan Fusha’s gaze drifted to Taohua’s lips, now glossy from the sugary treat.
Truthfully, she would have preferred to taste those instead… but never mind. If she were to do something like that in public, her junior sister would probably die of embarrassment.
Imagining Taohua’s cheeks flushing bright red with shyness, Guan Fusha’s smile deepened. She lowered her head and took a bite of the candied hawthorn.
Taohua asked eagerly, “How is it? Is it delicious?”
Guan Fusha chewed a few times, finding the taste no different from ordinary candied hawthorn. “Mm, it’s good.”
Hearing this, Taohua beamed even more brightly. She glanced around and pointed toward another stall not far away. “Senior Sister, let’s go take a look over there.”
“Alright.” Guan Fusha allowed Taohua to lead her by the hand, her gaze so tender it could make one swoon.
But in the blink of an eye, a horse suddenly appeared at the city gate. Ignoring the crowded streets, the rider relentlessly whipped the animal to go faster, shouting, “Out of my way! All of you, move!”
Fearing injury, the crowd scrambled to the sides in a panic. Caught off guard by the sudden commotion, Taohua was pushed to the ground by the surging mass of people.
Worried she might be hurt, Guan Fusha quickly helped her up. “Junior Sister, are you alright?”
Taohua brushed the dust from her hands, revealing a scraped palm. Just as she tried to hide it, Guan Fusha noticed. She forced a smile and said, “I’m fine.”
Seeing Taohua injured ignited a fury in Guan Fusha. She shot a cold glare at the rider and discreetly slid a blackened silver needle from her sleeve, sending it flying straight toward the galloping horse.
“Neigh—!” The horse reared in pain, throwing its rider to the ground before collapsing itself. Moments later, it succumbed to the poison and died.
Just then, several more riders entered the city. Spotting the young man on the ground, they hurriedly dismounted and rushed to his side. “Young Master, are you alright?”
The man on the ground shoved their hands away in disgust. “Get lost, you useless fools! Took you long enough to catch up.”
Trembling, he stood up and noticed the fallen horse. A vicious glint flashed in his eyes as he kicked the animal’s lifeless body, cursing, “Worthless beast! How dare you throw me to the ground! Useless nag!”
Witnessing this, Guan Fusha’s expression turned even colder. Had she not feared frightening her junior sister with a dead body, she would have aimed the poisoned needle directly at the man.
The servants, seeing the horse remain motionless despite the kicks, grew suspicious. Circling around for a closer look, they were horrified to find the animal’s eyes wide open, with blood trickling from all seven orifices.
One servant shrieked in terror, his legs giving way as he collapsed and scrambled backward on the ground.
“What are you screaming for? It sounds awful!” the man addressed as “Young Master” yelled at him. He stepped forward to look and was startled himself. “Wh-what’s going on here…?”
One of the servants curiously approached to take a look, then his expression changed abruptly. “Young Master, this horse has been poisoned!”
“What?!” The man’s face instantly turned pale. “Who?! Who dares to poison my horse?! Don’t they know I’m the son of Cui Ming, the wealthiest man in Yancheng?!”
In the distance, Taohua stiffened slightly upon hearing that name.
Guan Fusha noticed her reaction and asked with concern, “Junior Sister, are you alright?”
“Ah… I’m fine.” Taohua nervously averted her gaze, casually tossing away the unfinished candied hawthorn stick. “Senior Sister, why don’t we head back?”
“Go back?” Guan Fusha’s eyes flickered briefly before she turned to glance at the loudly shouting man.
She had thought it was a coincidence, but it turned out to be true.
“Alright.” Since Taohua wasn’t enjoying herself, there was no need for them to stay any longer.
Guan Fusha took Taohua’s hand and prepared to leave, but a sharp-eyed servant spotted Taohua. He approached the Young Master Cui and whispered, “Young Master, look at that girl over there. Doesn’t she resemble the Eighth Miss?”
Hearing this, Young Master Cui immediately shifted his gaze. “Huh? Which one?”
“The two girls over there—the one in pink,” the servant said, pointing at Taohua.
“Hmm…” Young Master Cui narrowed his eyes to get a better look. “They’re too far away. I can’t see clearly.”
“…”
“Whether it’s her or not, better to kill the wrong person than let her escape!” He ordered the servants behind him, “You there, go and stop those two girls!”
“Yes, Young Master!”
The group of servants immediately rushed toward them and soon had them surrounded.
Guan Fusha had already noticed their movements and stopped in her tracks, shielding Taohua behind her.
“Senior Sister…” Taohua couldn’t help but feel a little worried.
She wasn’t worried about Guan Fusha getting hurt. She was more concerned that after the fight, her senior sister would likely drag her along to show off and fly them back to the carriage. Just thinking about that swaying sensation in mid-air made her feel a bit nauseous.
The servants’ original target was Taohua, but upon seeing Guan Fusha’s stunning beauty, they were instantly mesmerized, completely forgetting to verify Taohua’s identity.
From a distance, Young Master Cui grew furious seeing his servants frozen in place. He strode over and kicked one of them hard. “Idiots! Useless! What are you standing around for?! Didn’t you say you spotted Eighth Sister?!”
He turned his head and met Guan Fusha’s icy gaze.
He had never seen such a beautiful woman in his entire life!
Young Master Cui stared at Guan Fusha, stunned, his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide, not daring to blink.
Guan Fusha swept a cold glance over them and said sharply, “Get lost.”
Only then did Young Master Cui snap back to reality. He nearly drooled, rubbing his hands together lecherously as he grinned. “Heh heh heh, such a beauty! Where are you from, miss?”
A look of disgust flashed in Guan Fusha’s eyes. “I won’t repeat myself a third time. Get lost.”
“Oh my, so cold.” Young Master Cui paid no heed to her words. With a lecherous smirk, he approached and reached out to touch that beautiful face. “Don’t be so distant. I am the son of the wealthiest man in Yancheng, with boundless riches. If you follow me, you’ll enjoy a life of luxury and comfort forever.”
No sooner had he spoken than his hand abruptly froze mid-air, refusing to advance further.
Young Master Cui widened his eyes, clutching his own hand with an expression of disbelief. “My hand… what’s wrong with my hand? Why has it suddenly stopped moving?”
“Disgusting,” Guan Fusha spat out disdainfully. In a swift motion, she wrapped her arms around Taohua’s slender waist, gathered her energy, and leaped, landing a short distance behind Young Master Cui.
The moment her feet touched the ground, Young Master Cui let out an ear-splitting cry of agony. Clutching his hand, he collapsed to his knees. “Ah… ah… my hand! My hand!”
All eyes turned to his hand. What had been perfectly fine moments before had suddenly swollen violently. The skin on his hand began peeling off at an alarming rate, like that of a decaying corpse. In no time, only a bloody red palm remained. The blood vessels attached to the flesh swelled rapidly before bursting, splattering blood and chunks of flesh onto the ground. Soon, his entire hand was a mangled mess of blood and tissue, with patches of white bone visible in some areas.
The servants nearby were utterly stunned, too terrified to approach.
“Ah… my hand… my hand!” Young Master Cui writhed on the ground in excruciating pain, wailing and howling so loudly it shook the heavens.
The scene was far too gruesome. The onlookers couldn’t bear to watch any longer, averting their eyes and jostling one another as they scrambled to flee the scene of horror.
Finally, one of the servants snapped out of his daze, swallowed hard, and said to Young Master Cui, “Young Master, I’ll go fetch a physician for you right away.”
At his words, the other servants also regained their senses. They stared at Guan Fusha with sheer terror, backing away cautiously, not daring to come any closer.
