Hold Tight to the Female Lead's Thigh [Transmigration GL] - Episode 18
Yan Hong’s words were dripping with sarcasm, and Qi Yong was no fool. How could he not catch it? His expression immediately darkened. “The Hall Master has important matters to attend to. How dare I trouble you with my personal affairs?”
“Speaking of important matters, how could I possibly compare to Elder Qi?” Yan Hong let out a delicate laugh and continued, “Not only does Elder Qi handle the sect’s affairs, but he also finds time to concern himself with the Guardian’s private life. Surely, you must be so busy that you don’t even have time to visit your concubine?”
“You…!” Qi Yong’s face flushed red with anger. How dare this girl speak to him, a dignified Elder of the Three Origins, in such a manner! Was she rebelling?
“Elder, don’t be angry, don’t be angry. Take care of your health,” Guo Ping quickly stepped forward to pat Qi Yong’s back, whispering words of comfort into his ear.
Yan Hong let out a light hum, as if afraid she hadn’t angered the old man enough, and added, “Besides, we are members of the Demon Sect. If we go around preaching rules and morals all day, how are we any different from those righteous sect hypocrites?”
Upon hearing this, the crowd felt Yan Hong’s words made perfect sense and began murmuring among themselves.
Indeed, if they acted as rigidly and righteously as those from the orthodox sects, what right did they have to call themselves members of the Demon Sect? The former sect leader had been unwilling to collude with the righteous sects, and out of spite, they had labeled them the “Demon Sect.”
Guan Fusha almost stood up to applaud and cheer, but seeing Qi Yong’s trembling, furious face, she suppressed the urge and coughed lightly instead.
“Alright, let’s end this argument here,” Guan Fusha interjected at the right moment, giving Qi Yong a way to save face. “The Left Guardian has not been in the sect for long and is not yet familiar with its affairs. As the Right Guardian and her senior sister, it is my responsibility to guide her.”
Guan Fusha’s words were reasonable, and for a moment, Qi Yong could find no retort.
“Since Elder Qi agrees, let’s conclude today’s assembly.” With that, Guan Fusha stood up and left the main hall.
“Guardian…” Qi Yong intended to follow and continue persuading her, but Yan Hong suddenly blocked his path, deliberately walking slowly to prevent him from catching up.
Qi Yong was nearly driven mad with rage. This Hall Master of the Punishment Hall was once again thwarting his plans, clearly intent on opposing him at every turn!
Yan Hong paid no attention to Qi Yong’s gritted teeth and leisurely strolled out of the main hall.
The day was clear and bright, and Qi Yong’s furious demeanor had put her in an exceptionally good mood. For once, Yan Hong did not return to the Punishment Hall but instead took a stroll through the garden, admiring the flowers, plants, and perhaps a beauty or two.
As she approached Hibiscus Court, she spotted a familiar figure. “Well, if it isn’t Miss A’Tian?”
A’Tian paused mid-step and, though reluctant, turned and bowed slightly in greeting. “This humble servant pays respects to the Hall Master.”
“Hmm~” Yan Hong drew out the sound with pleasure, narrowing her eyes as she examined A’Tian. “That outfit you’re wearing today truly brings out your charm.”
A’Tian’s face twitched slightly, and she lowered her gaze demurely. “Thank you for the compliment, Hall Master.”
If she had to choose a single word to describe the head of the Punishment Hall, A’Tian thought, there would be no more fitting term than “rogue.” Those unfamiliar with Yan Hong’s temperament might not know it, but those who were acquainted with her understood that Yan Hong, the head of the Punishment Hall, was a rogue in bold, capitalized letters.
The number of people who had suffered at her hands was as countless as the stars in the sky. For instance, the poor souls in the Punishment Hall, or Qi Yong, who had nearly been driven to a stroke in the main hall just moments ago. And now, A’Tian had a strong premonition that she was about to become the next victim.
“No need for thanks, no need,” Yan Hong said, her eyes curving into a smile like a sly fox that had found its prey. “Speaking of which, A’Tian it seems you still owe me a favor, don’t you?”
A’Tian sighed inwardly. As expected, the inevitable had arrived. Last time, in her desperation to stop Xiao Yuan, she had impulsively sought help from Yan Hong, who happened to be nearby, and ended up owing her a favor.
“What would the Hall Head like A’Tian to do for you?” A’Tian composed herself and asked respectfully.
“Well…” Yan Hong looked A’Tian up and down before taking a step closer.
The glaring crimson hem of her robe fluttered before A’Tian’s eyes. Without lifting her head, A’Tian took a step back, maintaining a proper distance between them.
Yan Hong watched A’Tian with an amused glint in her eyes, leisurely advancing another step, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
Seeing this, A’Tian retreated once more, and Yan Hong immediately followed suit. After several rounds of this, A’Tian found herself backed against the wall with nowhere left to retreat.
Yan Hong placed one hand against the wall and used the other to gently lift A’Tian’s chin, forcing her to meet her gaze. With a playful smile, she said, “I’m not some ferocious beast, so why are you avoiding me like this?”
She leaned in, her crimson lips nearly brushing against A’Tian’s ear, her breath as fragrant as orchids. “You’re really breaking my heart, A’Tian.”
A’Tian suppressed the goosebumps rising on her skin. She knew all too well that crossing this rogue would not allow her to escape unscathed.
“The Hall Head worries too much. A’Tian is simply unaccustomed to being so close to others,” A’Tian replied, her voice betraying no emotion.
“Is that so?” Yan Hong observed A’Tian’s impassive expression, seemingly unaffected by her advances, and her playful spirit only grew. She pressed her lips directly against A’Tian’s ear, deliberately parting and closing them, gently grazing the shell of her ear as she whispered, “Am I making you uncomfortable by being this close?”
The provocative gesture instantly set A’Tian’s ears ablaze, and her legs grew slightly weak. Struggling to maintain her composure, she replied, though a faint tremor crept into her voice, “Why does the Hall Head ask when she already knows the answer?”
Yan Hong smirked triumphantly, like a cat that had gotten the cream.
Meanwhile, after several days of secluded cultivation in the villa, Taohua had finally memorized all the moves from the Flying Dragon Sword Manual. Over the past few days, Guan Fusha had been busy handling sect affairs and only visited her late at night. Eager to see her, Taohua decided to have Xiao Zhu take her to Hibiscus Court, never expecting to stumble upon such a scene.
The classic “kabe-don” posture, coupled with the intimate ear-kiss.
Taohua’s jaw nearly hit the floor.
Was… was she seeing things? Since when had these two gotten together?! Leaving A’Tian aside for the moment, hadn’t Yan Hong always been secretly in love with Guan Fusha?!
Tian glanced at the stunned Peach Blossom and Xiao Zhu, then calmly stepped out of Yan Hong’s embrace. With a smile as natural as ever, she warmly asked, “Are you going to find Guardian Guan, Protector?”
“Ye… yes.” Peach Blossom looked at Tian, then at Yan Hong, her expression as if she had choked on an egg.
