Hold Tight to the Female Lead's Thigh [Transmigration GL] - Episode 19
“I’ll take you there.” A’Tian walked to Peach Blossom’s side and made a gesture to guide her.
Peach Blossom’s gaze shifted between the two, her expression visibly stiff, as if suffering from an acute case of embarrassment.
They were clearly in the middle of an intimate moment. How could she possibly let A’Tian leave at such a time? It felt even more intrusive than being a third wheel, especially since she already had Xiao Zhu to lead the way!
Just as Peach Blossom was about to politely decline, A’Tian suddenly stepped ahead and began leading the way. “Guardian, this way, please.”
“Uh… it’s alright, I can have Xiao Zhu take me.”
“Please follow me.” Before Peach Blossom could finish, A’Tian cut her off.
Feeling too awkward to refuse a second time, Peach Blossom had no choice but to follow.
At that moment, Yan Hong, who had been watching the scene with amusement, suddenly spoke up. “A’Tian, don’t forget what I mentioned earlier.”
With that, she deliberately walked over to A’Tian and whispered in her ear. Loud enough for everyone to hear. “I’ll be waiting for you in the Punishment Hall.”
She reached out and gently tucked a stray strand of A’Tian’s hair behind her ear, smiling affectionately. A’Tian, however, remained as composed as a meditating monk, showing no reaction whatsoever.
Peach Blossom was utterly bewildered.
What in the world was going on? Weren’t these two in the kind of relationship she had assumed?
Just as Yan Hong was about to leave, she paused after taking a single step, turned back, and smiled at Peach Blossom. “It just occurred to me. I haven’t yet greeted the Guardian properly.”
Peach Blossom was momentarily speechless. After a brief pause, she managed a polite smile and replied, “Hall Master, you have many responsibilities. There’s no need to trouble yourself with such formalities.”
“Then I shall take my leave.” Yan Hong smiled slightly, bowed to Peach Blossom, and gracefully exited the garden.
Watching Yan Hong depart, Peach Blossom couldn’t shake a strange feeling.
Though A’Tian showed no outward reaction, inwardly, she breathed a sigh of relief. The Left Guardian’s arrival couldn’t have been more timely. “Guardian, this way, please.”
“Alright.” Though curious, Peach Blossom knew it wasn’t her place to pry into Yan Hong and A’Tian’s private affairs. She quietly followed behind.
When they reached Guan Fusha’s study, A’Tian knocked on the door. Only after receiving Guan Fusha’s response did she open it for Peach Blossom.
Guan Fusha looked surprised. “Junior Sister, what brings you here so suddenly?”
It was Peach Blossom’s first time in Guan Fusha’s study, and she couldn’t help but glance around.
The study’s decor closely resembled that of her bedroom. Simple furniture as the foundation, with small trinkets placed on the desk and feminine ornaments hanging on the walls. What caught Peach Blossom’s eye the most, however, was a painting of a noblewoman amidst a sea of blooming flowers.
The woman in the painting was shown only in profile, seated alone in a field of flowers, playing a zither. Though her expression was hidden, Peach Blossom couldn’t help but feel she looked profoundly lonely and melancholic, as if waiting for a lover who would never return.
“Junior Sister?” Guan Fusha approached, noticing Peach Blossom’s dazed expression, and called out again.
“Ah?” Peach Blossom snapped out of her reverie. After a moment’s hesitation, she remembered her purpose and pulled the Flying Dragon Sword Manual from her sleeve. “I’ve memorized this manual.”
A flicker of surprise crossed Guan Fusha’s eyes. “You’ve memorized it all already?”
“Yes, every word.” Peach Blossom nodded.
She had previously studied liberal arts, so memorizing texts wasn’t particularly difficult for her. However, after enduring over a decade of rote learning in the education system, she could never bring herself to enjoy the task of memorization.
“That’s good,” Guan Fusha said with an approving smile. “Since you’ve already memorized this sword manual, I will now begin teaching you martial arts.”
Taohua couldn’t help but look curious.
Logically speaking, most people started learning martial arts with the simplest and most basic horse stance. Why, then, had Guan Fusha first made her memorize the sword manual?
As if sensing her confusion, Guan Fusha smiled mysteriously and said, “Junior sister, follow me.”
Taohua followed Guan Fusha out through the back door, along a deep, winding path, and at the very end, they came upon a house. The windows on all four sides were tightly shut, leaving no gaps for anyone to peek inside. The door was secured with three different types of locks, making it exceptionally well-guarded.
Hidden so deeply, whatever was inside this room must be extraordinary!
Guan Fusha produced a key from somewhere, unlocked the three locks, and pushed the door open. Taohua quickly followed her inside.
As soon as the door opened, a strong scent of medicinal herbs wafted toward them.
Taohua couldn’t help but frown slightly. She wasn’t particularly fond of that smell.
In the center of the room stood a massive golden alchemy furnace, and the shelves along the walls were filled with medicinal herbs. Next to two of the shelves were small hidden doors, suggesting there might be additional spaces beyond.
“Senior sister, what is this place…?”
“This is the medicine refining room. Ordinary people are not allowed to enter,” Guan Fusha replied as she pushed open one of the hidden doors and motioned for Taohua to follow.
Taohua lifted the hem of her skirt and followed Guan Fusha down a staircase, feeling a secret thrill.
Did this mean she wasn’t considered an ordinary person? How wonderful! Guan Fusha trusted her so much. It was proof that she had successfully secured a powerful ally!
At the bottom of the staircase stood a door made of Cold Mountain Black Iron, incredibly sturdy. The lock on it was an Eight-Treasure Exquisite Lock, meticulously crafted by the “World’s Greatest Artisan.” Without the key, neither cannons nor the world’s greatest thief could open it.
When the door swung open, Taohua was greeted by an array of dazzling brocade boxes—large and small, red and green—neatly arranged on several wooden shelves. She was almost dazzled by the sight. “Senior sister, what’s inside these brocade boxes?”
Guan Fusha smiled without answering, walked to one of the shelves, picked up a small yellow brocade box, and handed it to Taohua. “Open it and see.”
Curious, Taohua opened the box. A refreshing fragrance immediately wafted out, and inside lay a red pill about the size of a malteser. Puzzled, Taohua asked, “What is this…?”
“This is the Longevity Elixir.”
“Longevity Elixir?” Taohua was bewildered. Although her current physique was indeed somewhat weak, it wasn’t to the point where she needed such a potent tonic, was it?
“Exactly. The Longevity Elixir not only enhances beauty and prolongs life but, most importantly, it effortlessly grants ten years of cultivation,” Guan Fusha explained with a light smile.
Taohua’s jaw dropped, and her eyes widened as if they were about to pop out, staring fixedly at the red pill.
Ten years of cultivation? That’s the legendary cheat pill! Oh my god, she finally doesn’t have to be that useless person who gets out of breath after just a few steps anymore! Happiness has come so suddenly!
