- Exclusively Possessed By A Yandere Rich Girl
- Chapter 2 - Meeting You for the First Time.
Xu Fei and Zhu Nianxi met through an accident when they were both only fourteen years old.
A car crash had taken both of Xu Fei’s parents. None of her relatives back in Yanjing were willing to take her in, so out of options, she went to live with her grandmother.
Moving from a bustling metropolis to a small town in North City caused many to sigh over Xu Fei’s situation, lamenting the unpredictability of fate.
When her new classmates found out, their faces filled with pity. “Yanjing is so great! Why come to a tiny place like ours? I heard you used to play tennis and even won international awards?”
Xu Fei didn’t answer the second half of the question. “It’s quite nice here.”
The small town was nestled against mountains and surrounded by water. High-rises were rare. At night, there were no neon lights, but the sky was packed with stars.
When the weather was good, Xu Fei would follow the auntie next door up the mountain to gather medicinal herbs. The money from a single trip was enough to feed her and her grandmother for several days.
March was a rainy month in the small town, so during a rare clear day, Xu Fei carried her basket and headed up the mountain alone.
Her grandmother was a bit worried, but Xu Fei gave a bright smile, rolling up her sleeves to show off the muscle on her arms. “I used to train very hard. I’ll be quick and definitely back before dinner.”
Only then did her grandmother relent.
Busy from morning until afternoon, Xu Fei gathered quite a lot of herbs, unconsciously drifting away from her usual area.
The wild grass in the mountains grew high. She cut her way through as she walked, and at the end of her line of sight, a small wooden cabin appeared.
The wood was cracked, and the walls were covered in moss, looking as though it had been abandoned for a long time.
Realizing she was lost, Xu Fei immediately turned to head back.
Suddenly, a faint cry for help reached her ears.
“Help…”
The voice was extremely weak, raspy and hard to discern, identifiable only as a female voice.
A ghost?
A few more cries for help came again, fainter each time.
Holding her sickle protectively against her chest, Xu Fei cautiously walked toward the small wooden cabin.
Parting the last clump of grass, she finally saw the scene before her.
A girl was collapsed on the ground, wearing a high-end school uniform. It was clearly made of high-quality material, but it was currently covered in mud and blood, presenting a shocking sight at first glance.
Her hair was disheveled, and she was in a crawling posture, propping herself up with both hands on the ground. Her wrists were injured, with rings of deep purple bruising binding her snow-white skin, some had already scabbed over, while others were still bleeding.
A trail of blood extended beneath her, reaching deep into the wooden cabin.
Xu Fei looked inside and instantly gasped.
Her right leg was broken!
By the doorway of the cabin, a blood-stained crowbar lay on the ground, next to several rolls of hemp rope.
Could it be… she was beaten by someone?
Xu Fei’s brain worked rapidly.
A kidnapping case?
Where was the kidnapper?
She tightened her grip on the sickle in her hand.
The next second, someone tugged at her pant leg.
Looking down, Xu Fei met a pair of deep black eyes. She had never seen such pure black pupils before, so deep they could suck a person’s soul inside.
“Save me.” The girl stared fixedly at her, straining her raspy throat to bite out each word clearly. “I can give you whatever you want.”
After speaking, she began to cough, leaving spots of fresh blood on the dirt.
“Stop talking for now!”
Xu Fei hurriedly pulled out her water bottle, supported the girl to let her lean against her chest, and fed her light saltwater.
“Is there anyone else?”
Xu Fei regretted not getting her phone repaired in time.
The girl shook her head, her long eyelashes drooping weakly. “They ran away. It’s just me.”
Xu Fei looked at the girl’s blood-covered broken leg, feeling a phantom pain in her own right leg. Swallowing hard, she stood up slightly. “I’ll help you treat it first.”
The girl suddenly grabbed her hand, looking up to stare dead at her. “Don’t leave.”
“I’m not leaving,” Xu Fei held her hand in return, offering a smile to comfort her. “Don’t be afraid.”
Xu Fei had learned first aid back on the tennis team.
She found a long strip of wooden board and two fabric strips originally meant for tying the medicinal herbs.
Xu Fei squatted down. “If it hurts too much, you can bite me.”
The girl shook her head. “It’s fine…!”
The moment Xu Fei cradled her broken leg, an intense, piercing pain instantly flooded the girl’s entire body, as if her tendons were being pulled out and used as a whip, striking her broken leg over and over again.
She clenched her teeth. Just like the day it was broken, she didn’t cry out, only letting a muffled groan escape from between her lips.
She was trembling…
Feeling deeply for the girl, Xu Fei leaned closer to her, trying to distract her.
“What’s your name? My name is Xu Fei.”
“Zhu… Nian…”
Zhu Nianxi wasn’t able to finish saying her name. She turned, burying herself into Xu Fei’s embrace, and opened her mouth to bite down on Xu Fei’s shoulder.
Zhu Nianxi hadn’t eaten a proper meal in a long time, even though she bit down with all her might, the force couldn’t be considered strong.
Xu Fei quickly secured the wooden board and carried Zhu Nianxi on her back, heading down the mountain.
To avoid causing secondary injury to the leg, Xu Fei kept her spine as straight as possible. As she walked, she helped stabilize the leg so it wouldn’t swing around.
The surroundings were too quiet, so Xu Fei kept up a steady stream of chatter about her own life.
Zhu Nianxi had no energy. She replied occasionally, but most of the time she just gave a soft “mm,” signaling that she was listening.
Xu Fei actually quite liked this feeling, she didn’t feel tired.
Without anyone noticing exactly when, rain began to fall in the mountains. A vast, dark cloud rolled over from the distance, clearly turning into a downpour.
Xu Fei quickened her pace.
After a few more steps, the torrential rain poured down, soaking both of them completely.
The weather forecast was unreliable!
Xu Fei looked back. Zhu Nianxi was resting obediently against her shoulder, the mud on her face washed away by the rain. The young girl’s face was pale and soft, possessing the texture of jade in the twilight sun.
How wonderful. It was a good thing she had gone up the mountain today.
Unexpectedly, because of her movement, the person on her back misunderstood something. Reacting as if triggered, she tightened her arms, firmly locking them around Xu Fei’s neck. Zhu Nianxi pressed her face close, her voice trembling. “Don’t abandon me, please…”
Xu Fei’s heart felt as though it was squeezed by a massive hand, filled with an unbearable ache.
She was used to being rejected in every possible way, she never expected that one day she would be held so tightly by someone.
“I won’t abandon you, I promise.”
Xu Fei turned her head again, smiling. “We’re almost there.”
Zhu Nianxi gave a very soft “mm.”
In the pouring rain, the torso of the person beneath her was the only source of warmth. Zhu Nianxi held on tighter, greedily absorbing Xu Fei’s body temperature.
The scent of laundry detergent on Xu Fei seemed to possess a kind of magic, acting like a gentle shield that kept all the cold and pain at bay.
Zhu Nianxi felt herself warming up too.
It wasn’t until the sun set and the sky turned completely dark that Xu Fei finally carried her down the mountain.
Under the streetlights along the road, several people holding umbrellas and wearing raincoats were gathered in a group.
Suddenly, someone pointed into the distance. “Xu Fei is coming down!”
In an instant, everyone ran over. The auntie from next door started scolding from afar. “You child, why do you make people worry so much! Any later and we would have gone up the mountain to look for you!”
Then, she saw the person on Xu Fei’s back and abruptly went silent. “This, this, this… what happened?”
Xu Fei was panting heavily, the body temperature of the person on her back too high to ignore. “Quickly call 120! Her leg is broken, and she has a fever!”
The moment the words left her mouth, she collapsed.
When she opened her eyes again, she was in a hospital ward. Her grandmother was anxiously keeping watch by the bedside, her face full of worry.
The auntie was there too. “Xu Fei, you slept for a whole day and night! You worried your grandmother to death.”
Xu Fei looked around and asked, “Where is Zhu Nianxi? How is her leg?”
The auntie took a few seconds to process before clapping her hands together, words pouring out of her mouth continuously.
“Her? She was picked up by her family! She went back to the capital for surgery. You should have seen the display even the hospital director came out, bowing and scraping.”
The old uncle added the details. “That was the president of Huantai Group! A massive boss! You saved their young lady, how much money did they give you?”
As the topic drifted, Xu Fei slid back down into the hospital bed.
What a pity, they didn’t get to say a few more words.
After returning home, she secretly searched “Hantai Group” online.
The webpages and reports that popped up were dazzling. From the rows of figures, Xu Fei understood one thing, she and Zhu Nianxi had merely shared a brief encounter.
The plea to stay in the rain only held meaning in that specific moment.
In the third year of junior high, Xu Fei’s differentiation was delayed, and she became a Beta.
Later, with the financial aid of a kind benefactor, she entered Huaiyang High School and returned to Yanjing.
At the opening ceremony, applause thundered as the freshman representative was welcomed onto the stage.
In the distance, the Omega stood tall and straight, like a piece of flawless jade, with no visible trace of a broken right leg.
Xu Fei was shocked. “She is…”
Tao Yaqian said, “That’s Zhu Nianxi! Everyone knows her, the top scorer of the High School Entrance Examination, and the eldest miss of Huantai Group!”
Xu Fei looked at the distant Omega, dazed.
At least, she seemed to be doing very well.
The small bed in the bar’s storage room was cramped and narrow. Xu Fei was tall, so sleeping here required her to curl her body up, leaving her back aching the next morning.
Yet even so, Xu Fei was unwilling to return to her uncle’s house to live under someone else’s roof.
In the flash of an eye, two days had passed since the school placement exams. Sister Mei was tough-tongued but soft-hearted, letting her stay for two extra days.
Today was Monday. Xu Fei woke up early, washed up, changed into her school uniform, and walked through the front lobby.
The night shift had just ended, and several bartenders and servers were chatting by the bar counter.
The exact same Maybach had parked outside the bar for three consecutive nights, this was definitely a major piece of gossip.
A bartender remarked, “They’ve absolutely taken a liking to someone here!”
Someone disagreed, “Who tries to pursue someone without ever getting out of the car? This setup looks more like someone looking for revenge. Besides, who could they possibly have their eyes on?”
The bartender began to count down on her fingers, listing names.
As Xu Fei walked to the door, she was called over by Sister Mei.
The boss jingled her car keys around her finger. “I’m heading that way today, I’ll drive you to school.”
This kind of “heading that way” was very common. Xu Fei gave a polite, sweet smile. “Thank you, Sister Mei.”
The bartender withdrew her gaze from the distance, added one more finger to her count, and whispered, “Actually, Xu Fei is also a possibility. A high schooler who looks like a literal 3D render, plenty of people are into her type.”
Her words were met with a flurry of playful slaps from the crowd.
“Don’t corrupt a high school student!”
“Xu Fei is a proper Beta!”
A BMW 5 Series deftly navigated through the city traffic, pulling up at the school gates.
The battered old bicycle was back on duty. Xu Fei pushed her bike forward, the morning breeze parting the stray hairs on her forehead.
Sister Mei rolled down the car window. “Feifei, I sent your August wages to your WeChat. Remember to accept it.”
Xu Fei opened her phone, it was 500 more than what they had agreed upon.
She looked at Mei Qia, her tea colored eyes bright and clear. “Why did you give extra again?”
Mei Qia reached out, rubbing Xu Fei’s head from inside the car. “Overtime pay. Just keep what’s given to you.”
Xu Fei complied.
Sister Mei’s gaze shifted, looking past Xu Fei’s shoulder. “Feifei, is that your classmate?”
She keeps looking at you.
“Huh?” Xu Fei turned around.
Cutting through the dense crowd, her eyes landed on Zhu Nianxi first.
The same Western style uniform possessed the quality of a high-end custom piece when worn by the Omega.
Zhu Nianxi stood in front of the black Maybach, expressionless, her eyes carrying a dense, unresolvable darkness.
But in just a flash, she averted her gaze, raising her hand to greet a classmate who was passing by.
With no expectations came no disappointment. Xu Fei quickly lowered her head.
“No. Sister Mei, I’m heading in first.”
Class 7.
Tao Yaqian was buried in her work, frantically copying homework while gossiping with Ni Zihao in the seat behind her.
Xu Fei returned after turning in her homework, catching their conversation.
“The experimental class got canceled?! For real?!”
Xu Fei pricked up her ears.
Zhu Nianxi belonged to the experimental class, a class that gathered all the top students and connected individuals in the school.
Ni Zihao guaranteed it confidently, “One hundred percent real! I heard the homeroom teacher talking about it this morning. Someone reported them, saying the teachers took bribes! Unfair education!”
“Then what about the students from the experimental class?” Xu Fei couldn’t help but ask.
Ni Zihao replied, “Supposedly they’re going to be slotted into the parallel classes first, and they’ll restructure once the heat dies down.”
The news that transfer students were coming quickly spread across the entire class.
Morning study session began, but barely anyone kept their mind on their books. Everyone was discussing who the newcomers would be.
Ni Zihao peeked his head out the window, suddenly sitting up straight and whispering, “Old Class Teacher is here! Old Class Teacher is here!”
The homeroom teacher of Class 7 was named Li Qin, a provincial master mathematics teacher in her forties. In previous years, she always taught the senior year, but her health couldn’t take the toll, so she had stepped down to rest and recuperate.
As Teacher Li stepped into the classroom, the only sound left in the air was the English recitation from the morning study session.
Looking around and seeing everyone stretching their necks out so long, she chuckled and clapped her hands.
“Stop for a moment. As you’ve all heard, we have two transfer students joining our class this semester.”
Two people walked into the classroom, one after the other.
A smile appeared on Li Qin’s face. “Zhu Nianxi, Ning Siyi. Both are students from the experimental class who are now joining Class 7. Everyone should get to know each other well after class and learn from one another.”
Zhu Nianxi picked up a piece of chalk from the podium, wrote down her name, and turned around. Her voice was just as clear as it sounded in the broadcasts. “Hello everyone, I am Zhu Nianxi. Please take good care of me.”
Ning Siyi finished her self-introduction next, she was an Alpha.
Li Qin arranged their seating based on height.
“Siyi, go sit next to the class monitor.”
“As for Nianxi…” Li Qin’s eyes swept across the room before pointing toward the area in front of Xu Fei. “Choose one of the two seats in front of Xu Fei. The student who was originally there transferred classes, so we won’t arrange a deskmate for you for now. We’ll adjust it later.”
“Alright,” Zhu Nianxi walked over.
The closer she got, the less peaceful Xu Fei’s heart became.
The Omega sat down diagonally in front of her. Her black hair rested quietly just above her collarbone. Her skin was incredibly pale, and the light from outside caught the bridge of her exquisite nose like a kiss mark.
Tao Yaqian was thrilled, poking Zhu Nianxi’s back. “My name is Tao Yaqian.”
Zhu Nianxi turned sideways. Her eyes landed on Xu Fei first before shifting to the side, nodding. “Hello.”
Xu Fei lowered her gaze, silently counting the letters in her English textbook.
Just as she was about to look away, a pale hand with slender fingers suddenly entered her field of vision.
She lifted her head, her tea colored pupils captured by a dark, deep gaze.
Zhu Nianxi spoke, her smile picture perfect. “Hello there, I am Zhu Nianxi.”
