Everyone Loves the Alpha, But He’s Not Interested [Transmigration] - Chapter 35
Ning Xi couldn’t help but laugh. “President Yu, if you’re too weak to feed yourself, I would definitely do it for you. I don’t need that as a condition.”
Yu Qingxue looked confused for a moment. “Really?”
“When have I ever said no to you?” Ning Xi asked in return.
Yu Qingxue was speechless. She had underestimated her. She should have suggested a different condition.
“President Yu always keeps her word. You’re not planning to suddenly change the terms, are you?” Ning Xi found Yu Qingxue’s confused expression a little adorable and continued to tease her.
“Of course not,” Yu Qingxue replied, giving her a slightly annoyed sideways glance.
“I mentioned to you earlier today that while I’m not familiar with Bai Piaopiao, I do know her sister online,” Yu Qingxue continued. “Her sister’s name is Bai Lianlian. She’s five years older than Bai Piaopiao and became an Omega three years ago.”
“Last month, Bai Lianlian posted birthday photos on her social media. One of the pictures showed her standing next to Bai Piaopiao,” Yu Qingxue paused at this point, waiting for Ning Xi to respond.
Ning Xi didn’t quite understand. “So what are you saying?”
The two of them looked at each other. Ning Xi’s dark eyes were filled with confusion. When Yu Qingxue saw her expression, her ears turned slightly red, and she quickly looked away.
“Even though the sisters are five years apart, their appearance and body shape are nearly identical.”
Ning Xi immediately caught on. “Are you saying Bai Lianlian is pretending to be Bai Piaopiao? That the person we met this morning was actually Bai Lianlian, not Bai Piaopiao?”
Yu Qingxue gave a small nod. “When Bai Piaopiao joined the talent show, I was on a business trip abroad. By the time I got back, I noticed something was off. Honestly, I never believed Bai Piaopiao could make it in the entertainment industry.”
Just as Ning Xi was getting to the most important part of the story, her phone rang.
“That’s probably the food delivery.”
After confirming the order with the delivery person, the hotel staff said they would bring it up right away.
“The food will be here soon, President Yu. Let’s eat while we talk,” Ning Xi suggested.
Yu Qingxue sat up, still looking completely relaxed as she leaned against the sofa. She made a soft sound of agreement.
A minute later, the hotel staff arrived at room 1788 with the food. Ning Xi didn’t let them in, worried that Yu Qingxue wasn’t in a good enough state to be seen by strangers. She carried everything in herself.
Yu Qingxue glanced up and saw Ning Xi walking in with several bags. She didn’t move to help.
“Why didn’t you let the staff bring it in?”
Ning Xi looked at her, noticing that Yu Qingxue seemed completely unaware of how stunning she looked with her fair skin and red lips. “I’m strong. This isn’t a big deal.”
“Do you want to eat here or in the dining area?” Ning Xi asked.
Yu Qingxue yawned and wiped the tears from her eyes. Her pale lashes were wet, making her eyes look even darker and more striking.
“Let’s eat here. Walking to the dining area sounds exhausting,” she said, subtly reminding Ning Xi about her earlier promise.
Ning Xi thought Yu Qingxue must be genuinely tired. After all, she was an Omega and had always been physically weaker. Without questioning it, she set the food out on the coffee table.
Ning Xi walked over and sat down beside her, pulling out two sets of utensils. “Tell me what you want to eat, President Yu.”
Yu Qingxue gave a graceful nod. “I’ll start with a piece of spicy diced chicken.”
Ning Xi picked one out and handed it to her with her chopsticks. Yu Qingxue gently opened her lips and took it into her mouth.
Ning Xi’s mind wandered for a moment. Yu Qingxue had always had this habit.
She had a small appetite and declared herself full after only a few bites.
Switching to a clean pair of chopsticks, Ning Xi began eating. “I’m listening while I eat, President Yu.”
“Where was I?” Yu Qingxue asked. After eating, she began to feel sleepy again. She kept yawning, and tears welled up in her eyes before rolling down her fair cheeks when she closed them.
“You were saying it was impossible for Bai Piaopiao to enter the entertainment industry.”
Ning Xi pulled out a tissue and handed it to her. Yu Qingxue didn’t take it. Instead, she slightly lifted her chin, signaling for Ning Xi to wipe her face for her.
Wanting to hear the rest of the story, Ning Xi gave in. Or maybe she just did it willingly. She gently wiped away the tears on Yu Qingxue’s cheeks, being careful not to let the rough tissue hurt her delicate skin.
Yu Qingxue felt a bit ticklish from the touch and reached up, her soft fingertips landing right on top of Ning Xi’s hand.
Ning Xi paused for a second. “Did I use too much force?”
Yu Qingxue withdrew her hand. “No, it just tickled.”
Noticing the faint blush on Yu Qingxue’s face, Ning Xi threw the tissue into the trash, then gently rubbed the spot on her cheek with her fingertip. “Was it here?”
Ning Xi’s skin was a bit rough, and the rubbing eased the itch, but it left a strange tingling sensation in Yu Qingxue’s chest.
“That’s enough,” Yu Qingxue said, moving Ning Xi’s hand away. “It’s not itchy anymore. Thank you.”
“Let’s go back to the topic about Bai Piaopiao.” Yu Qingxue clearly wanted to change the subject. “When I was in middle school, my parents told me she was considered a genius.”
“A genius too? Then who was the other one?” Ning Xi asked curiously.
Yu Qingxue gave her a knowing look. “What do you think?” She sat up straighter, a proud expression on her face.
Ning Xi suddenly understood and smiled. “President Yu is a genius. I’ll remember that.”
Yu Qingxue had been surrounded by the word “genius” her whole life and had grown numb to it. But for some reason, when Ning Xi said it, the word felt different. It made her heart beat a little faster.
“Bai Piaopiao had a real gift for math. She started studying high school material on her own at age nine and completed an entire university-level mathematics curriculum by eleven.”
“But unlike her talent for academics, she didn’t inherit her family’s artistic genes. A friend of mine used to be her teacher. She said Bai Piaopiao couldn’t sing in tune, danced very stiffly, and could barely play the piano. She had no talent at all. The Bai family thought my friend lacked the skills to teach her, so they brought in top instructors. But even then, Bai Piaopiao didn’t improve, so the family eventually gave up.”
“That’s why it’s so suspicious that someone like Bai Piaopiao could suddenly shine in a talent competition, dancing and singing as if she were born for it.”
At the time, she had been busy with other work and had no time to pay attention, which gave Bai Lianlian the chance to use Bai Piaopiao’s name to enter the talent show, gain fans from all six gender types, and slip by unnoticed.
After lunch, Yu Qingxue received a phone call from Jiang Yuanxin.
“Qingxue, check Weibo right away. Someone posted photos of you and Ning Xi at the hospital!”
Yu Qingxue was puzzled. “Those were already posted this morning. Didn’t we already have someone take them down?”
Jiang Yuanxin sounded anxious. “This time it’s different. The posts this afternoon are much worse. Earlier they just said you and Ning Xi were concerned about a fellow actor. Now someone has twisted the story and claimed you’re romantically involved with two Alpha actors at the same time. They said Ning Xi and Wei Nian got into a physical fight on set because they were jealous, and that Ning Xi beat Wei Nian so badly that his face was ruined. They’re saying his injuries are so severe that even plastic surgery might not fix them.”
Yu Qingxue’s expression darkened. “The incident just happened this morning, and someone is already stirring up trouble. This has to be orchestrated by someone behind the scenes.”
Jiang Yuanxin had been speaking loudly enough that even without speakerphone, Ning Xi heard everything clearly while sitting nearby.
She opened Weibo and saw that the hashtags #YuQingxueBringsChaos and #NingXiAndWeiNianFightingOverLove had climbed to the third and fifth spots on the trending list, and the popularity was still rising.
Ning Xi tapped into both tags and began reading the posts.

Everyone knows our Omega star Yu Qingxue just started filming a new project. But this morning, the two Alpha leads of Ask the Demon, Ning Xi and Wei Nian, suddenly broke into a full-blown fight during a scene. In the end, Wei Nian was severely beaten by Ning Xi, his face covered in blood. Sources say the wounds are so deep that even with reconstructive surgery, it will be difficult to restore his appearance.
Why did they fight? We actually know the reason. They were fighting over a woman.
And who might that be? I think everyone already knows. It’s none other than our beloved Omega star Yu Qingxue.
A source from the production crew confirmed that despite her public image of never dating or marrying, Yu Qingxue’s private life is actually very messy. She is often seen inviting Alpha men to her place overnight.
After joining the cast, she had trouble sleeping alone and targeted the two young Alpha actors on set, Ning Xi and Wei Nian, both of whom are still in college.
She seemed interested in both. Sometimes she was close to one, sometimes she smiled at the other. Eventually, jealousy got the better of them, and they broke into a fight during filming.
In the end, we have to say, Yu Qingxue really is a classic beauty who brings trouble wherever she goes.

Ning Xi turned the phone screen toward Yu Qingxue. “President Yu, these photos were clearly taken by someone from the set. This could have been planned in advance.”
Yu Qingxue raised her eyes to look at her. “Do you think Bai Lianlian might be involved?”
Ning Xi replied, “Only Bai Lianlian knew that Wei Nian would lose control on set, and it was because of her that he did. She must have arranged for someone to be ready on the crew to take those pictures when the incident happened.”
“That person was likely hired temporarily for today or tomorrow. There are surveillance cameras all over the set. If we check carefully, we’ll definitely be able to find out who took those photos.”
“Yuanxin, follow Ning Xi’s suggestion and start investigating right away. We need to find out who the mole on the crew is.” At some point, Yu Qingxue had turned on the speakerphone, and Jiang Yuanxin heard Ning Xi’s entire plan.
“As for Bai Lianlian,” Yu Qingxue said coldly, “her time is running out.”
