Chapter 38: Blushing and Covering Eyes…

“Mmm… mm—” Ji Yunfei was kissed awake.

Her mouth was firmly blocked, and she couldn’t make any sound other than muffled whimpers. It was pitch black before her eyes, and the restrictive feeling over her gaze made her extremely uncomfortable. She tried to move her limbs, only to find she had long been firmly locked down; the crisp clinking of metal between her crossed hands rang clearly in her ears.

“?” Thinking about her current situation, Ji Yunfei felt it was surreal. What kind of new “play” was she in now?

A patch of warmth pressed against her cheek, and then her chin was lifted. The activity in her mouth grew increasingly uncontrolled, and the “little person” in Ji Yunfei’s mind began to grow dazed.

“What on earth is going on…”

Ji Yunfei bit down hard on the restless intruder. The metallic taste of blood spread in her mouth, and the person opposite her hissed in pain, finally withdrawing.

That familiar, cool female voice sounded by her ear—it was Xie Yin.

The blindfold covering her eyes was ripped off, and the blinding light stabbed directly into Ji Yunfei’s eyes, making it impossible to open them fully. With both hands firmly restrained, Ji Yunfei had no choice but to squint.

At that moment, a shadow suddenly fell over her, giving her space to breathe. Opening her eyes, she saw Xie Yin dressed in a tight pencil skirt, wearing bright red square-framed glasses, her black hair cascading wildly behind her.

As for the setting… it was the same hotel room from before she slept, except now she was firmly tethered to the headboard.

Gulp— Seeing Xie Yin’s outfit, Ji Yunfei uncharacteristically swallowed her saliva. Though she didn’t want to admit it, this completely different style of Xie Yin made her heart race uncontrollably.

“There’s really too much trash in my head, how could I have such a dream…”

“Right… dreaming… I’m dreaming!”

Ji Yunfei remembered a theory she’d seen online: since she already realized she was dreaming, wasn’t this a lucid dream?

Ding— The little lightbulb above her head lit up. With a thought from Ji Yunfei, the shackles on her hands and feet easily unlocked, but clearly, the person in front of her was still unaware.

She curled her lips, winked at the person opposite her, and spoke softly: “Yin-Yin…”

The Xie Yin in front of her didn’t expect Ji Yunfei to suddenly call her that. She instantly stopped her movements and pulled back, staring blankly at Ji Yunfei.

“You… you… what did you call me?” Xie Yin’s mouth hung slightly open, her tone full of disbelief. She pointed at herself, actually stuttering.

Taking advantage of Xie Yin’s daze, Ji Yunfei broke free from the shackles and threw them all under the bed… well, not all. Ji Yunfei secretly hid one.

She lunged at Xie Yin, and with the momentum, flipped their positions. In an instant, the offensive reversed, and Ji Yunfei held the upper hand.

Ji Yunfei gripped Xie Yin’s hands tightly, pinning them above her head, while leaning down to capture that flushed, burning earlobe.

“Mm—” Hit by Ji Yunfei’s fluid sequence of movements, Xie Yin let out an uncontrolled moan.

“A-Fei… what are you doing…?” Xie Yin proactively rubbed her head against Ji Yunfei, her voice trembling.

Ji Yunfei didn’t answer; she decided to let actions speak for themselves. Since it was a dream anyway, being a little wild wouldn’t hurt…

Thinking this, Ji Yunfei chuckled low in Xie Yin’s ear. Her free hand reached under the pillow and found the hidden shackle.

Click— With the sound of the lock falling, the person restrained to the headboard became Xie Yin.

Though only one hand was shackled, it was enough… in fact, shackling both would be boring.

“A-Fei… this is uncomfortable…” Xie Yin rattled the shackled hand, pouting with watery eyes as she looked at Ji Yunfei, who had straightened up.

“Hmph… you weren’t like this just a moment ago.”

“Who was the one acting so smug?”

Ji Yunfei wasn’t so easily fooled. She straddled Xie Yin, tilted her chin up, and smiled happily.

Being treated this way, Xie Yin didn’t get angry; instead, she obediently rubbed her chin against Ji Yunfei’s palm. There was a strange glint in her eyes, as if she were anticipating the next move.

Seeing the expectation in Xie Yin’s eyes, Ji Yunfei’s mischievous intent grew. She stopped moving and simply narrowed her eyes, watching Xie Yin quietly.

“A-Fei… it’s uncomfortable…” Xie Yin finally lost the stalemate. She used her free hand to hook around Ji Yunfei’s neck, pulling her close.

“Where does it feel uncomfortable?” Ji Yunfei knew exactly what she was thinking, but she played dumb, coaxing Xie Yin.

“Here…” Xie Yin tapped her own lips, then tapped Ji Yunfei’s. “Kiss me…”

The person beneath her had eyes full of deep affection, and her words were soft as silk.

“You asked for it…”

Ji Yunfei wasted no more words. She cupped Xie Yin’s face and accurately pressed against that softness.

“Mm… mm…” For a time, the wet sounds of lips and teeth intertwining filled the room, making hearts race.

“Ha—” After a long kiss ended, the two pulled apart slightly, both of their breathing rhythms in disarray.

“A-Fei… not enough…”

“Let’s continue…”

“Whatever you do, don’t let me go…”

Click— Xie Yin reached out and removed the red frames from her nose, tossing them aside. They hit the floor with a soft thud.

“Those… were in the way…”

“Throwing them away is better…”

“Now, kiss me…”

Ji Yunfei’s neck was held tightly. Somewhere along the way, Xie Yin’s hand had escaped the restraint.

“You could unlock it?” Seeing Xie Yin using both hands to embrace her, Ji Yunfei’s pupils shrunk in disbelief.

“Mm… if A-Fei likes it, I’ll play along…”

“Don’t you like it…?”

“Then I’ll lock it back… mm…”

Before Xie Yin could finish, Ji Yunfei blocked those incessantly moving lips. Unlike the previous gentleness, this kiss carried a hint of dominance and a touch of resentment for being teased.

“You rascal… playing with me is fun, isn’t it?”

“In that case… I’ll do as you wish…”

“I definitely won’t let you go…”

A long, long time ago, there lived a little deer in a fairytale forest…

One day, the leaping deer encountered an escaping Golden Apple of Eden. Following the apple’s guidance, the deer crossed hills and plains, entering a field of flowers.

Upon stepping into the flowers, the deer lost its way and stood dazed and helpless. Seeing this, the Golden Apple began to glow and suddenly transformed into a blooming golden flower.

A faint fragrance drifted on the wind. The deer instinctively lowered its head to sniff; it was the scent emitted by the golden flower. The deer stuck out its tongue and tentatively touched the stamen at the center. The golden flower shuddered, its petals curling slightly before unfurling again after a while.

Witnessing this magical scene, the deer’s eyes filled with curiosity. So, it repeated the action over and over, watching the golden flower continuously curl and recover.

Suddenly, rain began to fall. The deer hurried to shield the golden flower with its body, but even so, crystal-like water droplets stained the petals. Coincidentally, the deer felt thirsty and licked the droplets following the direction the petals bloomed. The droplets seemed endless, impossible to drink dry…

At the end of the story, the sky cleared. Under the intense sunlight, the golden flower slowly wilted and transformed back into the Golden Apple. The exhausted deer leaned gently against the Golden Apple and fell into a dreamland…

The morning sun filtered through the curtains into the room. Outside, birds chirped incessantly. Ji Yunfei woke up slowly in a daze.

“Hiss—” A wave of soreness in her arm made Ji Yunfei frown. She looked into her arms to see Xie Yin, her cheeks rosy and her breathing steady, still fast asleep.

Ji Yunfei sighed silently. She ultimately couldn’t bring herself to pull her arm out; after all, she had to let the “drunkard” sleep well.

Thus, enduring the discomfort in her arm, Ji Yunfei pulled Xie Yin a little closer. With her other hand, she picked up her phone to check her messages.

Yao-Yao-Yao: “A-Fei… did you find her?”

Yao-Yao-Yao: “I was too abrupt tonight…”

Yao-Yao-Yao: “Can we talk when you have time?”

Seeing the messages Su Yao sent late at night, Ji Yunfei felt a pang of guilt. Last night she had been too anxious and left Su Yao alone; it wasn’t right by any standard.

FFF: “Sorry, Sister Yao…”

FFF: “Let’s meet and talk in a few days…”

Almost as soon as the message was sent, the reply came back instantly.

Yao-Yao-Yao: “Okay, I’ll wait for your message.”

Exiting the chat with Su Yao, Ji Yunfei noticed a red dot next to the Calico Cat avatar. It was a design request from Qin Qing. Ji Yunfei scanned it quickly and typed a reply.

FFF: “Received! I’ll give you the first draft in about two weeks.”

Just as Ji Yunfei finished replying to all the messages and turned off the screen, a hand suddenly reached out from beside her and firmly intercepted her hand that was still holding the phone.

“Good morning… A-Fei…”
