After Transmigrating into a Scummy Alpha, I Became a Tool Person - Chapter 14
After drawing a few more panels, Xie Yinian glanced at the clock and saw that it was already past ten. She had plans to go out and explore the next morning, so she decided to sleep early. Turning off her computer, she stood up and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.
Once she was done, she slipped into her pajamas and sat on the bed to book the tickets for tomorrow. After that, she ordered a taxi for the morning departure.
She browsed through a few travel guides online, then got up to pack her bag—power bank, bottled water, and other essentials.
When everything was ready, she climbed into bed, pulled up the covers, and went to sleep.
The next morning.
The alarm rang beside the bed, its sharp tone breaking the morning quiet. Half-asleep, Xie Yinian fumbled for her phone and turned it off.
She got up, slipped into her slippers, and went to the bathroom. Squeezing toothpaste onto her electric toothbrush, she pressed the button—zzz—the soft hum of the brush filled the air.
After washing up, she stepped out and opened her wardrobe.
She picked out a blue T-shirt and a pair of white shorts.
Dressed and ready, she went downstairs and entered the dining room.
“Good morning,” Xie Yinian greeted, taking a seat across from Xia Qiqi.
Xia Qiqi was already eating breakfast. At the sound of her voice, she lifted her gaze.
Their eyes met.
Today, Xia Qiqi wore a light blue short-sleeved blouse paired with a pleated skirt. Her hair was tied into a neat bun, and she had on a touch of makeup.
“You look really nice today,” Xie Yinian said with a bright smile.
Xia Qiqi sipped her water calmly and replied, “Thank you.”
As Xie Yinian began eating, Xia Qiqi asked from across the table, “When are you leaving?”
“Probably around eight,” Xie Yinian replied after a short thought.
“Mm.” Xia Qiqi nodded.
By eight o’clock, the taxi Xie Yinian had booked had arrived.
She went upstairs to get her backpack. As she stepped out of her room, she happened to see Xia Qiqi coming out of hers.
Xia Qiqi carried a black shoulder bag and wore a baseball cap.
Xie Yinian paused, momentarily stunned.
Xia Qiqi turned toward her. “Let’s go.”
“Okay.” Xie Yinian nodded and fell into step beside her.
Out of the corner of her eye, she stole a glance at Xia Qiqi—still calm and unruffled as ever.
But today, she’d left the top two buttons of her blouse undone, revealing the delicate line of her collarbones and a necklace that gleamed lightly against her skin. It was a different look from her usual style—and very pretty, almost ethereal.
“Has your car arrived?” Xia Qiqi asked.
Snapping out of her daze, Xie Yinian blushed. “Y-yeah, he just called. He’s waiting outside.”
“Alright.”
The two of them stepped out of the villa. The driver spotted them and got out to open the door. “Please, get in.”
Xia Qiqi took the front passenger seat, while Xie Yinian sat in the back.
The driver went around, got in, and started the engine. The car pulled away from the villa and headed toward their destination.
After more than an hour’s drive, they finally arrived at the Disney Castle.
Standing outside, Xie Yinian looked up at the towering castle—the blue rooftops, the pink walls glowing softly under the morning sun. “It’s so beautiful,” she breathed.
Xia Qiqi followed her gaze, quietly agreeing—it really was.
Xie Yinian filled out the reservation details for both of them, and they queued up outside the entrance.
It took nearly half an hour before their turn came. After checking their tickets, the attendant waved them through.
Inside, staff handed out park maps. Both of them took one.
Looking at hers, Xie Yinian pointed to a spot. “How about we start with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train?”
“Sure,” Xia Qiqi said with a nod.
Following the route on the map, they walked for a while until they reached the ride.
“Let’s go in,” Xie Yinian said with a grin.
They had their tickets scanned and took seats in the sixth row.
The cave was dim, lit with colorful crystal lamps. Around them, mechanical dwarfs moved rhythmically to cheerful music—it all felt wonderfully magical.
Once they were buckled in, the mine train began to move.
It rolled forward slowly, then sped down the first slope, twisting and turning through the tunnels.
The wind lifted Xie Yinian’s hair, and she couldn’t help but let out an excited scream.
When the ride finally ended and they stepped off, she turned to Xia Qiqi, beaming. “So? Wasn’t that fun?”
“It was,” Xia Qiqi answered honestly.
“Alright, next up—let’s go ride the Pirates of the Caribbean!“ Xie Yinian said excitedly.
She had read some travel guides the night before and thought the attraction sounded fun, so she was eager to give it a try.
Xia Qiqi nodded in agreement.
After walking for a while, Xie Yinian lifted the park map and looked up at the sign ahead: Pirates of the Caribbean — Battle for the Sunken Treasure.
“This is it. Let’s go,” she said with a grin.
After their tickets were scanned, the two boarded the boat.
Below them was a pool of dark, rippling water. Xie Yinian stood at the bow, taking in the dim surroundings as dramatic music began to play.
“Treasure—it’s everything, isn’t it? That’s why you’re here. That’s why you want to be a pirate—just like me.”
The boat slowly began to glide forward.
Xia Qiqi turned her head slightly, glancing indifferently at the glowing skulls reflected on the cavern walls around them.
“So, still craving gold and silver? Then you’ve come to the right place. Tonight, we’ll seize the greatest treasure ever known!”
The boat continued onward, and before long, the figure of a pirate appeared.
“Oh, I’m simply magnificent! Ah, perfect timing, my loyal crew! Captain Jack Sparrow, at your service!”
“Alright then, let’s go claim Davy Jones’s sunken treasure!”
“Oh, by the way, when I said we, I meant you—down you go!”
With a wave of Jack’s hand, the scenery suddenly shifted—the boat plunged into the depths of the sea.
Beneath the waves lay countless shipwrecks, and schools of giant fish swam past.
Then, a man carrying a lantern appeared, stepping toward a monstrous shape. The creature’s eyes snapped open, glowing in the darkness—it stirred and began to move.
Judging by its form, it looked like an enormous jellyfish.
The entire scene was so realistic that Xie Yinian couldn’t help feeling a little awestruck.
Suddenly, melodious singing echoed around them as mermaids swam into view, smiling playfully before darting away into the shadows.
The boat drifted forward again. Ahead, two pirates whispered to each other.
“Then I’ll make sure no one ever finds out the treasure is here,” one muttered—before realizing he had spoken too much.
“Shut up!” the other hissed.
Startled, the first pirate stammered, “The treasure’s not here! It’s not here!”
As they sailed deeper inside, strands of seaweed glittered with gold and jewels—coins, goblets, statues, and other treasures tangled within them.
Suddenly, a monstrous sea creature loomed from the shadows.
“How dare you steal Davy Jones’s treasure! Let’s see how the captain deals with you!” it bellowed with laughter.
The boat pressed on until they saw Davy Jones himself.
“Captain!” one of his crew shouted in panic.
“Speak,” he growled.
“Your treasure—it’s been stolen!”
“What?” Davy Jones spun around. “Tell everyone this—whoever dares covet my treasure must face me in battle!”
The scene shifted again. All the sunken ships rose from the depths as intense music swelled—the great battle was about to begin.
Cannons roared as the two sides clashed fiercely.
In the projection behind them, Davy Jones leapt aboard Jack Sparrow’s ship, trying to reclaim his treasure.
During their fight, Jack jumped onto a smaller boat piled high with gold coins. He fired a cannon straight at Davy Jones.
Davy dodged in time, laughing smugly.
But his victory was short-lived—the explosion tore a hole in his ship’s hull, and seawater poured in violently. In an instant, Davy Jones was swallowed by the tide, while Jack Sparrow escaped through the breach aboard his treasure-laden boat. The scene faded to black.
When the ride ended, Xie Yinian and Xia Qiqi stepped back outside.
Xie Yinian glanced at her watch. “It’s almost afternoon. Are you hungry?”
“A little,” Xia Qiqi admitted.
Xie Yinian smiled. “Then let’s grab something to eat first.”
