- Chapter 33 - What I Want, I Always Get. Including Your Heart, and Your Body.
Yan Run’s eyes widened. Forced love? That was something she’d only ever seen in novels—and she didn’t even read that many. Did it mean forcing someone to… do that with you?
Wouldn’t that mean… having a child?
She swallowed hard.
“Yu Wenxi, I advise you to calm down. Don’t let your family bind you like this. You haven’t even won Best Actress yet—if you get pregnant now, it’ll ruin your chances.”
Yu Wenxi frowned. “Pregnant?”
Yan Run nodded earnestly.
“Exactly. Society’s still unfair to Omegas. One pregnancy and your career could take a hit. You haven’t won that award yet, so you should focus on filming, not… distractions. Oh, and—your fans are right. I went to the doctor one day and found out I can’t have children. So… that part’s off the table anyway—”
She rambled on, trying to talk sense into Yu Wenxi, planning to revisit the matter later. But instead of answering, Yu Wenxi leaned over and bit her on the neck.
“Ow! What was that for?!”
Yu Wenxi released her, but her lips lingered, brushing against the skin of Yan Run’s neck.
Yan Run froze. She already knew Wenxi’s lips were cool and full—but the sudden flutter of happiness that rose inside her caught her off guard.
Propping her head in one hand, Yu Wenxi studied her profile while neatly straightening the collar of Yan Run’s pajama top. “You really can’t have children?”
Yan Run nodded quickly. “Right. Exactly. You have to trust the doctor.”
Yu Wenxi murmured an “Oh,” then delivered a line that left Yan Run speechless:
“Then you can mark me whenever you want—no need for birth control.”
Yan Run: “……”
Curling into her arms, Yu Wenxi’s voice softened into a near-whisper. “Either way, I won’t take back what I said just now. What I want, I always get. Including your heart… and your body.”
This was Yu Wenxi, the famously aloof goddess. Yet the words she’d just spoken were completely out of character—her cool, untouchable aura seemed to have been replaced overnight by something warmer, more possessive.
Could it be… because I temporarily marked her? Yan Run wondered. Did that make this Omega dependent on me?
And if she meant it—if she really wanted her heart too—
Does that mean… she likes me?
Yan Run muttered, “Then what about your Ah Yue?”
Yu Wenxi paused, brow furrowing. “Who’s Ah Yue?”
Yan Run gave a cold laugh. Heartless woman—already forgotten your old flame!
“Yu Wenxi, you really are cruel,” Yan Run said coldly.
Yu Wenxi blinked. “What are you talking about?”
Glaring at her, Yan Run enunciated each word: “You can’t even remember your former lover. She liked you so much, and you two loved each other deeply—yet you threw her away for some so-called family alliance.
And now you want to have a child with me? Dream on!”
Yu Wenxi’s expression was clearly puzzled. She studied Yan Run for a long moment, suspicion in her eyes.
But Yan Run was still fuming. “Don’t look at me like that! You’re the type who’d betray and frame me in the future!”
“I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” Yu Wenxi replied, still dazed.
Yan Run, too angry to think, jumped up—only to stumble and topple right back onto the bed. Her eyes flew open. Great. Now this is embarrassing.
Yu Wenxi, propping her chin on her hand, watched this flustered little Alpha and chuckled softly. “So, who exactly is this Ah Yue you keep talking about?”
Yan Run turned away with a huff, refusing to answer.
How is she this cute? Yu Wenxi thought, her heart melting. This is my baby.
Fine—if she was embarrassed, she’d make Yu Wenxi embarrassed too. “Don’t play dumb! That first night we slept in the hotel, I heard you mutter Ah Yue’s name in your sleep. She must be your ex. And if you still can’t forget her, why break up just for family interests?”
Yu Wenxi stayed silent—because she’d just realized Yan Run had not only knocked her head but also scrambled her brain.
She hadn’t said “Ah Yue” at all that night. She’d said “A-Yan.”
Deciding not to reveal the truth, Yu Wenxi simply said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. But… do you want to hear my story with Ah Yue?”
That night, she’d deliberately murmured “A-Yan” in her sleep to make Yan Run remember—make her understand just how deeply she was loved.
After all, when they’d first met, that was what she used to call her.
But somehow… Yan Run had gotten herself confused.
Yan Run gave a cold snort. “So you admit it?”
“Want to hear it?” Yu Wenxi asked lightly.
She began, “Ah Yue and I met as children. I’m two years older than her. She’d liked me since we were young—saw me as her one and only. I didn’t feel anything special… until a ball we both attended. That was the first time we really talked. Only then did I realize—she’d been in love with me for years. I’d never met an Alpha so devoted. I decided to give it a try, to see how long she’d last. But unexpectedly… she only loved me more.”
The story felt strangely familiar to Yan Run—like a memory, soft and sweet, brushing against her heart.
“And then?” she asked, wanting the ending.
Yu Wenxi looked straight at her, eyes shining with sincerity under the moonlight.
“She’s not called Ah Yue,” she said softly. “Her name is A-Yan.”
Yan Run froze. “Don’t try to fool me—you clearly said Ah Yue that night. I’m not mistaken.”
Yu Wenxi: “…”
Sighing, she said, “Forget it. You’re tired. Sleep. If you don’t believe me, check my phone. You won’t find anyone named Ah Yue.”
Yan Run frowned. “Who knows if you’ve saved her under another name?”
Yu Wenxi gave her a look. “You’re jealous, aren’t you?”
At that moment, it suddenly dawned on her—back when she’d been drugged, she had clearly sensed Yan Run’s anxiety for her. Knowing her character, if she hadn’t liked her, how could she have brought herself to touch her?
Now here she was, fighting an imaginary rival.
She’d been jealous of herself all along.
Yan Run shook her head. “Impossible. I don’t like you.”
“But I like you.” Yu Wenxi leaned into her shoulder, her voice carrying the gentle intimacy of a devoted spouse. “I like you, A-Yan.”
It was the first time Yu Wenxi had called her that—and Yan Run was startled.
So Ah Yue… is actually me? I’m her old flame?!
As she stared, Yu Wenxi slipped her arms around her waist, lips brushing against her neck in a slow, teasing bite.
“I like you. I like kissing you, holding your hand, talking to you… even doing more. But if you won’t take the initiative, I can only use… force.” Yu Wenxi said seductively.
Her gaze was sultry, her slender fingers trailing idly across Yan Run’s chest.
Omegas’ pheromones, far more intoxicating than an Alpha’s, seeped into her senses. Yan Run felt her body weaken—she really was addicted to that scent, as if it was a drug.
“Ah Yue or not—right now, you’re mine.” Yu Wenxi declared.

Flashback
“Jie, I like you.”
It was during a university ball. Yan Run, still a high school senior from another school, had cornered the campus beauty Yu Wenxi in a quiet spot where no one could overhear.
Yu Wenxi gave her a lazy glance. “We’ve only met a few times at family gatherings. You’ve barely spoken to me, and now, after one dance, you’re in love? Your feelings are awfully cheap.”
Yan Run stayed silent. She was two years younger, face still soft with youth.
“…Actually, I noticed you at our first family gathering,” she admitted. “But you looked so cold, I didn’t dare talk to you.”
“When was our first gathering?” Yu Wenxi asked.
“Six years ago.” Yan Run stated.
Yu Wenxi chuckled. “Six years ago, I’d just started middle school, and you were in elementary. You were that young, and you already liked me?”
Yan Run flushed. “I don’t know why… maybe because you were beautiful. Maybe because your expression was unreadable, and it… struck something in me.”
Yu Wenxi’s smile turned frosty. “Sorry. I’m not interested in children.”
She thought that would be the end of it. But someone who had liked her for six years wasn’t going to give up so easily.
By her sophomore year in university, Yu Wenxi had landed her first role. Upon graduation, she starred in a hit drama, becoming one of the most sought-after actresses of the year.
And through it all, the little Alpha never stopped hovering nearby.

The Present
Morning came. Yan Run awoke—this time in Yu Wenxi’s arms. Instead of panic, there was a strange sense of peace.
Then she realized exactly where she was and stiffened. She tried to slip away quietly, but in adjusting the blankets, she accidentally exposed both herself and Yu Wenxi to the cool air.
She froze.
She’d seen her before, yes—but still… how could Yu Wenxi’s figure be this perfect?
And compared to her own—well, the gap was depressing.
As she tried to cover them again, Yu Wenxi stirred, smiling lazily. “What are you doing?”
Before Yan Run could escape, she pulled her close, chin resting on her shoulder, lips curving in a knowing smile.
“Were you trying to run?”
With her this close, the faint trace of jasmine in her scent wrapped around Yan Run, making her ears tingle.
