- Chapter 28 - I Just Like Watching Naughty Scenes
Even though they’d booked a private room and no outsiders could see, doing that in front of the server—how improper.
[Love it, love it.]
[I just like watching naughty scenes!]
Yu Wenxi said casually, “If you want it, just ask for it. What’s there to be embarrassed about?”
Yan Run: “…”
The server noticed Yan Run still hadn’t moved and smiled politely. “If that’s the case, then I’ll…”
“Wait a second.” Yu Wenxi wiped her mouth, stepped around the server, and firmly held Yan Run’s face—then kissed her.
Server’s inner thoughts: So this is the so-called goddess of abstinence?
[Xixi, are you an alpha or an Omega?]
[No wonder she plays all those powerful heroines. Does she pin Ergou down all the time or what?]
[Makes sense. Ergou is way too weak.]
[Bet Ergou was the one crying during… you know.]
[I’d love to see Ergou cry like that…]
Yan Run was completely stunned by the kiss. She hadn’t prepared herself—Yu Wenxi just leaned in without a word and kissed her.
Wait—were those barrage comments saying she was too weak? That she didn’t even have the guts of an Alpha? But what could she do? Wenxi didn’t even ask!
Dazed, Yan Run looked at Yu Wenxi and asked, “What are you doing?”
Yu Wenxi replied nonchalantly, “You wanted it, so I got it for you.”
Yan Run caught a glimpse of the server trying to suppress a laugh, which made her even more embarrassed. She could only gulp down the entire icy dessert in one go.

That evening, after settling into the hotel, Yan Run left to meet up with Qin Zishu.
Yu Wenxi let her go—after all, off-camera, they weren’t truly a couple.
Qin Zishu was at a bar, similar to the one Ji Zhiye once brought her to: quiet, with only music flowing out from the lounge.
Well-dressed men and women in suits and gowns mingled, holding glasses and exchanging flirtatious banter.
Qin Zishu, in a tailored suit, waited in the most prominent seat. Several Omegas tried to chat her up, but she brushed them off effortlessly.
When Yan Run walked in, Qin Zishu immediately stood up and gave her a warm hug. “Long time no see, old friend!”
Yan Run pinched the soft flesh at her waist and frowned. “Why are you talking so greasy?”
Qin Zishu yelped in pain, glared at her, and quickly led Yan Run into a private booth as curious eyes followed them.
Qin Zishu was truly a charming, roguish Alpha. Unlike Ji Zhiye—who, though intelligent, carried a certain innocence—Qin Zishu was a mature, seductive flirt, even more suave than Yan Zhi. She flirted freely and never left a trace behind. She even declared she’d never get married, much to the frustration of the Qin family elders.
In over twenty years, not a single Omega had managed to catch her eye.
After they sat down, Qin Zishu thoughtfully poured Yan Run a drink.
Yan Run glanced at the glass. Qin Zishu knew she didn’t handle alcohol well—her pheromones tended to spiral out of control, like the time Ji Zhiye got her drunk.
Qin Zishu looked incredulous. “You and that Miss Yu seemed awfully close. How did that happen? She kissed you?”
Yan Run knew she must’ve seen the kiss from the livestream. After the scene went viral, her parents and sister even congratulated her in the family group chat. She felt utterly mortified.
She coughed awkwardly. “It was acting… for her grandmother. She’s an actress—kissing is part of the job, isn’t it?”
Qin Zishu pursed her lips and, after a pause, said, “Yu Wenxi has never kissed anyone on screen before.”
“What?!”
Yan Run was stunned. “You mean she’s never filmed a kiss scene? But she’s an actress!”
“That’s only in romance dramas. She usually stars in suspense or fantasy shows—solo female leads, no romantic arcs.”
Yan Run’s heart fluttered. So… Yu Wenxi’s first kiss was given to her?
But then she remembered that person named Ah Yue and instantly felt deflated.
She sighed. “So what? She only did it for her grandma. It was just a kiss.”
Qin Zishu could hear the disappointment in her voice. “Don’t tell me you’re falling for Yu Wenxi again?”
Yan Run quickly shook her head, ears turning red.
Then unexpectedly, Qin Zishu grabbed her hand, startling Yan Run. Her intense gaze would’ve made anyone think she was confessing love.
“What are you doing?” Yan Run asked.
“I’m serious. Don’t fall for her.”
“I’m not in love with her!” Yan Run denied, a bit defensively.
“Do you know what happened when people suspected you were dating back then? The paparazzi caught you two together, and thousands of Yu Wenxi’s fans found your Weibo, Xiaohongshu, and every social platform you had—to harass you.”
Yan Run knew fans would criticize her—especially after the romance show aired—but she hadn’t realized there were thousands of nasty comments.
“So what?”
Qin Zishu clicked her tongue. “Please, you’re still a rich young lady—don’t you feel humiliated being insulted like that? They said you were infertile, that you were a useless Alpha. Can you really just brush that off?”
Yan Run bit her lip. Okay—she did hate being slandered like that.
“And then?”
“Your family paid to delete those comments, but I saved screenshots. As your friend, I’m just trying to help. Be like me—flirt freely, never get attached. Especially not with troublemakers like Yu Wenxi.”
She truly thought she was doing Yan Run a favor. In her eyes, the whole “scumbag Alpha” label came from Wenxi stirring things up. That woman was bad news. Yan Run couldn’t fall for her again.
Curious, Yan Run took the phone and began scrolling through the screenshots, one by one.
As Qin Zishu said, the hate was vicious. Some attacked her looks and body. Others went after her personality and reproductive ability—calling her worse than a dog.
Not a single word of praise.
Every day, thousands more comments piled up—cutting like knives.
Even her family was dragged into it.
Yan Run’s fingers trembled. The language was cruel—almost surreal. Had she learned nothing from years of literature classes?
But the worst part—Yu Wenxi never once clarified or defended her.
What… did that mean?
If her family hadn’t intervened, her name might forever be tainted with scandal.
Yan Run hated being slandered—it clashed with everything she stood for.
Qin Zishu snatched her phone back, raising a brow. “You complained to me hundreds of times—saying you hated the rumors, how Yu Wenxi didn’t care about you, didn’t love you, that she tricked you…”
“Shut up!”
Yan Run suddenly snapped.
Qin Zishu jumped. “Why are you yelling at me? Sure, maybe you’ve forgotten what she did—but her fans sure haven’t. Don’t you remember how they treated you when that dating show aired? Or maybe not—since your family scrubbed the internet clean.”
“But what does that have to do with her?” Yan Run asked, her voice uncertain.
Of course it had nothing to do with Wenxi. She never loved her—not the real her.
That thought made Yan Run quietly seethe.

Meanwhile, Ji Zhiye’s unauthorized trip to Lan City was discovered by her father, who ordered her home.
She returned to the Ji family mansion, where her second uncle Ji Yi also waited.
Her father exploded: “You’re the heiress of the Ji family, yet you’re dating some celebrity and going on that trashy dating show? You’ve embarrassed us!”
Ji Zhiye knew the family had strict expectations—they would never accept a celebrity daughter-in-law. But she couldn’t help who she loved. Letting go simply wasn’t an option.
Ji Yi sneered, “What’s so special about her anyway? I hear she’s a diva—temperamental, self-important. Just a pampered little girl. How could that be the future head of the Ji family? Have you lost your mind?”
Her father barked, “Enough. End that ridiculous relationship and quit the show!”
“Father,” Ji Zhiye said, her voice uncharacteristically cold.
He froze. “What?”
“She’s pregnant with my child.”

Ji Zhiye exited the mansion. Her car was parked nearby—Wei Qin was already inside.
As Ji Zhiye slid into the seat, Wei Qin quickly ended a phone call. Ji Zhiye looked down and saw her WeChat call still active. Clearly—Wei Qin had heard everything.
Without warning, Wei Qin punched her hard. “Are you insane?!”
Since the livestream had cut when Ji Zhiye was summoned home, netizens were unaware of the chaos unfolding.
Wei Qin had heard her say she was pregnant and nearly lost it. They hadn’t even kissed—and now there was a baby?! She wanted to strangle Ji Zhiye on the spot.
But then Ji Zhiye grabbed her and kissed her—hard.
Wei Qin froze. The car was filled with Alpha pheromones. Her limbs weakened. She couldn’t push her away.
Ji Zhiye pulled back slightly and apologized.
Tears welled up in her eyes and fell into her palms.
She’d been raised in a bubble, always protected by her family. Though brilliant in business, she was naive when it came to emotions. Faced with this dilemma, she had no clue what to do.
All she knew was—if she didn’t do something, her father might actually blacklist Wei Qin.
So she blurted it out.
But—how could she say something like that?
Now all she could do was apologize.
“I don’t want to lose you. What should I do?” Ji Zhiye sobbed, clinging to her. Maybe it was the Alpha tears, but something softened in Wei Qin’s heart.
Truthfully, she didn’t really dislike Ji Zhiye. In fact, she’d grown quite fond of her over the past few days.
But pregnant? How the hell were they supposed to explain that?
“Qin Qin, I really like you.” Ji Zhiye murmured. “Let’s be together… please?”
Wei Qin sighed silently, brushing a hand against her neck.
She grabbed Ji Zhiye’s long black hair. Ji Zhiye winced through tears. “Qin Qin, what are you doing?”
Wei Qin frowned. “Your father might think I’m not good enough, but if I’m really pregnant, he didn’t object. So, I’ll just get rid of the baby.”
Ji Zhiye immediately shook her head, panicked. “Don’t you want to be with me? I’ll do anything for you.”
Wei Qin looked at the tall Alpha beside her. She’d never really tasted what an Alpha was like—especially not a top-tier one.
“Ji Zhiye… have you ever done it before?”
“Huh?”
“I mean that—have you ever done it?”
Ji Zhiye blushed. “Believe me… I’ve never done it. Not even once.”
“Never, and still so confident you could get an Omega pregnant. You Alphas sure think highly of yourselves.”
Ji Zhiye: “…”
Wei Qin let her go, frowning slightly. Truthfully, she’d already won a Best Actress award. Her goals were met. She was starting to think maybe it was time to find a loving Alpha and settle down.
She wasn’t that into the filming lifestyle anymore. Being a wealthy housewife sounded nice.
But the thought annoyed her—was she really about to hand herself over to this fool?
Still, this fool was only foolish in front of her. Around others, she was all sharp CEO vibes. Strangely captivating.
Wei Qin never thought she would fall for Ji Zhiye. She just wanted to marry rich.
She cradled Ji Zhiye’s head and smiled, “You want a baby, huh?”
Ji Zhiye nodded, “If there’s no baby, they’ll never let you marry into the Ji family.”
Wei Qin’s lips curled in a smirk. “Then what are you waiting for?”
Ji Zhiye stared in shock. “You’re willing?”
Wei Qin leaned back lazily, tilting her head. “What do you think?”

The rain in Lan City finally stopped.
Yu Wenxi lay in bed waiting for Yan Run to return. But eventually, she dozed off.
Upstairs, another room stirred.
Two young women experienced their first time—one with burning passion, the other with calculated purpose.
Clothes littered the floor. Pheromones filled the air.
And by night’s end—all was silent.

Ten years later, little Ji always felt her Omega mother bullied the other mommy too much. She even scolded her right in front of her. She didn’t think she loved her very much.
But sometimes, she’d catch her worrying about the other’s health, cooking soup just to make her feel better.
So she figured—she must love her deeply.
She just didn’t want anyone to know.
Too proud to say it out loud.
