After the Nerd Marked the Top Omega - Chapter 12
Alpha stood, while Pei Yunci sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes slightly lifted, looking at the person in front of her: “You plan to mark me like this?”
The faint scent of platycodon flower lingered at her nose, and she could feel the small currents of air from the other person’s speech.
Fang Xu’s breathing was a little uneven. Recalling the tutorials she had watched, she tried to speak: “Perhaps, I need to change position slightly.”
Pei Yunci felt a bit embarrassed to bully someone so young and inexperienced, so she simply agreed.
As soon as the words left her mouth, she felt the spot next to her sink slightly. Her perspective shifted as she was lifted and placed to sit on the girl’s lap.
“Sorry, this is more convenient.” Fang Xu felt completely flustered, but her arms were loosely wrapped around the waist of the person in her embrace, preventing any mishaps.
Pei Yunci slightly raised an eyebrow: “Do you exercise often?”
She had originally prepared to move herself, but she didn’t expect the girl, who looked slender, to be so strong.
Fang Xu replied seriously: “I run in the morning at school.”
Other than that, she didn’t specifically exercise, but she often helped move things during her part-time job at a milk tea shop, so she had a fair bit of strength.
Pei Yunci hummed, then tilted her head to look at the Alpha’s scent gland, and realized: “You put on two scent suppression patches?”
No wonder she had never smelled the Alpha’s pheromones before.
As the woman spoke, her hair moved slightly, brushing against the other person’s ear and cheek.
It was a little itchy. Fang Xu wanted to move, but due to the person in her arms, she forced herself to endure it: “Yes, I was worried the pheromones would affect you.”
The incident in the isolation room had left too deep an impression. Knowing she was going to meet the other person, she would put on two patches.
“Doesn’t it make you uncomfortable?” Pei Yunci gently helped her peel them off, and the familiar scent of citrus appeared.
When the scent patches were torn off, the woman’s fingertips occasionally touched her skin, making Fang Xu feel completely sensitive.
Her eyes blinked faster than usual, and she said: “It’s fine.”
Pei Yunci had to admit, these small details from the Alpha made her feel even more favorably towards her: “Next time, you don’t have to do this.”
“Okay,” Fang Xu obediently agreed, and immediately felt her scent gland being lightly touched.
“…Yunci.”
“What is it?” Pei Yunci pretended not to know, pressing her fingertip onto the raised bump.
The citrus scent between the two of them became more concentrated, almost overpowering the scent of platycodon.
Fang Xu opened her mouth: “Nothing.”
“If you’re uncomfortable, just say so,” Pei Yunci withdrew her hand, confirming that the girl was genuinely good-natured.
She leaned back slightly in the girl’s arms, her voice lacking its usual coldness: “Did you use an Omega pheromone analogue?”
Pei Yunci’s perception of pheromones was very keen. Even though it was unscented, she had long since noticed it.
“Yes, I used it this morning. My scent gland is a little painful.”
Fang Xu’s body was still somewhat stiff, but her hands remained around the other person’s waist in a protective posture.
Pei Yunci released more of her pheromones. The scent of platycodon flowers melted into the citrus, masking the analogue: “Feeling better?”
The doctor was right; the pheromone analogue was inferior to genuine Omega pheromones.
The faint pain was suppressed, and even the fatigue in her body seemed to lessen. Fang Xu only felt hotter, but she still said: “Much better.”
Pei Yunci hummed, looked up, and removed the glasses from the person in front of her, gazing into the girl’s clear and nervous eyes: “Then, help me?”
Fang Xu’s already racing heart instantly beat even faster: “Okay.”
She gently pushed the other person’s hair aside, revealing the slightly raised scent gland.
It was reddish, and in contrast with the pale skin around it, the red mark was even more obvious, clearer than when she saw it in the isolation room.
Fang Xu lowered her head slightly, her lips close to the scent gland. The platycodon scent was much more prominent, like an invitation.
Just as she was trying to recall what to do next, a voice suddenly came from her ear: “Xiao Xu.”
“Hmm?” The Alpha’s voice was still a little lost.
“Don’t pass out this time.”
Fang Xu’s face instantly turned bright red, her heart pounding as if it would leap out. She whispered shamefully: “I won’t.”
Warm breath fell onto the scent gland, followed by the touch of her lips, like some cautious, small animal, lightly licking.
Appropriate comforting must precede the mark to allow the Omega to slowly relax.
This sentence flashed through Fang Xu’s mind, but the tutorial did not specify the extent of the comforting needed.
After a moment of thought, she gently touched it again with the tip of her teeth, with warm breath following suit.
A young Alpha should be impulsive and reckless, but the Alpha in front of her always managed to surprise Pei Yunci.
Her comforting was particularly teasing. Pei Yunci couldn’t help but clutch the girl’s sleeve tightly, pulling the neat fabric into a mass of wrinkles.
Her voice was huskier than before: “Alright, bite now.”
Fang Xu was particularly obedient in such matters, yet still dared not use too much force. The marking tooth slowly pierced the scent gland. Citrus and platycodon intertwined and fused, eventually becoming a different, sweet, cloying aroma.
Pei Yunci’s grip on the sleeve tightened even more. The unfamiliar Alpha pheromones slowly infused, gradually spreading to every part of her body.
Their breathing rose and fell in sync, and their bodies were pressed close, making the surrounding air much warmer.
Pei Yunci, leaning on the person’s shoulder, let out a very low, muffled groan.
It was very soft, like a breath, but Fang Xu, whose nerves were constantly stretched taut, still noticed it.
She quickly stopped and asked: “I’m sorry, did I hurt you?”
Pei Yunci’s eyes were slightly moist. Her eyelashes fluttered, and she raised her hand to gently press the girl’s head back to its original position.
“Good student, well done.”
“It feels very good, continue.”
When the marking was finished, both of their foreheads were beaded with sweat, and their cheeks were flushed.
Pei Yunci went to the bathroom first. After a quick wash, she came out and saw the girl still sitting properly in her original spot.
She was exactly the same as when Pei Yunci went in, remarkably well-behaved.
Pei Yunci slightly raised an eyebrow and turned on the air purifier in the bedroom: “I’m done, you can go in now.”
Fang Xu nodded, and as if only now returning to her senses, felt for her glasses and put them on before entering the bathroom.
Cold water couldn’t cool down the heat on her face. Even after rinsing her mouth, she could still feel the scent of platycodon on her lips and teeth.
She took a deep breath before returning to the bedroom.
Pei Yunci handed her a cup of warm water, holding a cup of coffee herself: “All washed up?”
“Yes, I am.”
The air purifier was working hard, but since it hadn’t been on for long, Fang Xu could still smell the sweet, cloying mixture of Alpha and Omega pheromones.
“Sit down first, shall we talk?” Pei Yunci suggested.
Fang Xu glanced around the bedroom and chose the short chair beside the bed.
After sitting down, she still couldn’t guess: “What do you want to talk about?”
Could it be that her marking was terrible, and the other person regretted signing the agreement with her?
But if that were the case, she had no grounds to argue, after all, she had been a Beta for twenty-one years and was very unfamiliar with marking.
The corners of Pei Yunci’s lips held a subtle smile, interrupting the girl’s random thoughts: “Are you very afraid of me?”
Fang Xu froze slightly, then shook her head: “No.”
Pei Yunci sat casually, with a touch of laziness: “Then why did you cry when I said a couple of things to you back at Jiangcheng University?”
She was referring to the incident in the lounge.
Fang Xu also recalled it, a little embarrassed: “I wasn’t crying because I was afraid.”
“And not because of me?”
“Mm,” Fang Xu paused for a moment after speaking: “I still have to thank you for that time.”
Even if it was just a coincidence, what the other person said was very comforting when she was upset.
“No need to thank me,” Pei Yunci thought of the girl’s red-rimmed eyes at the time, and couldn’t help but ask: “Ex-girlfriend?”
“…Yes.”
Pei Yunci didn’t ask further, returning to the topic she originally wanted to discuss: “It’s good that you’re not afraid of me. After all, we have to spend a year together. There’s no need to be so distant.”
“We are equal in this partnership. If you have any opinions, or if I make you uncomfortable in any way, you can bring it up anytime.”
Fang Xu hadn’t expected the person in front of her to say these things: “I understand.”
She sat up straight and said: “If I do anything poorly later on, you can also point it out directly, and I will try hard to correct it.”
Pei Yunci’s gaze rested on her: “Really?”
“Really, you can say anything.”
“In that case, there is indeed one thing.”
Fang Xu’s nerves tightened slightly: “What?”
Pei Yunci said unhurriedly: “Next time you mark me, the comforting time can be a little shorter.”
“Also, as long as I don’t tell you to stop, you can continue.”
An Omega having to instruct an Alpha during marking must be a rare occurrence.
The heat on Fang Xu’s cheeks, which had finally subsided, returned: “O…Okay.”
It seemed she still needed to go back and continue studying marking-related knowledge.
After both of them had rested for a while, it was already past eleven at night.
Pei Yunci took out some new scent suppression patches and handed them to Fang Xu, seeing that the girl was already packing her bag: “How will you get back?”
Jiangcheng University did not have a curfew, but leaving now, she might not catch the last subway train.
Fang Xu said: “I’ll just take a taxi.”
“It’s a bit late,” Pei Yunci asked her: “There’s a guest room. Why don’t you stay here for the night and return to school tomorrow morning?”
The assistant and driver had already gone off work, and there was no need to ask someone to come over again.
Fang Xu was still a bit slow to react: “Is that alright?”
“Yes,” Pei Yunci, feeling a bit sleepy after the marking, said: “The guest room should have disposable toiletries. You can find them yourself.”
It was too late, and letting a young girl go back alone wasn’t very safe either.
Fang Xu: “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, good night.”
“Good night.”
On the other side.
Du Xing’an was still awake, drinking on her balcony, and complaining to a friend about Pei Yunci’s outrageous behavior, including but not limited to seducing a young college Alpha and not letting her stay the night.
Just as she sent the message, she suddenly sneezed.
Who is thinking about me.
