- After Teasing the Crazy Mermaid, He Actually Deceived Me into Marriage
- Chapter 90 - He’s Acting as the "Male Mistress"
Si Tang fell into a moment of silence.
“Darling, I’ve washed everything clean,” Fan Yi stood nearby, wearing an expression that seemed casual but was actually seeking praise.
He lifted his fingertips, and the clothes hanging there fell into his palm, already dried.
Fan Yi handed them to her.
Si Tang instinctively glanced over slender, perfect fingers with a jade-like glow, yet. they were clutching a pair of pink panties.
Pursing her lips, her ears flushed bright red as she snatched the clothes back and hurried into the cruise ship.
Fan Yi curved his lips slightly behind her and leisurely followed, his dark eyes crinkling with delight.
After changing her clothes, Si Tang went to the dining room, where he had already prepared everything.
He pulled out a chair for her and then sat beside her.
Si Tang thought he was being overly clingy. The square table was clearly meant for sitting opposite each other, yet he insisted on sitting next to her.
“How much longer until we dock?” Si Tang knew the cruise ship had turned back today and would return to Hai Yuan by evening.
At this, Fan Yi’s gaze darkened slightly. He truly wished he could stay here forever with Si Tang, without any disturbances.
No Shen Ling, no Ling Xubai none of them would get to lay eyes on her again.
Fortunately, Si Tang couldn’t read his thoughts.
“We’ll dock at dusk,” he said nonchalantly while serving her food. “You must be exhausted. Eat quickly and have more.”
Si Tang ate quietly, then suddenly remembered something. “Fan Yi, in the human world, you must never reveal your true identity.”
If Si Tang remembered correctly, although Fan Yi was all-powerful, he became extremely vulnerable during his mating season, just like in the past.
During his mating season, he couldn’t be away from water.
She was worried that if someone with ill intentions discovered this, it could be.
Si Tang thought of Ling Xubai again. He had already guessed that Fan Yi was “not human,” though he didn’t know who he was.
She had once trusted Ling Xubai, but now, having sided with Fan Yi, no one except Fan Yi could be trusted anymore.
“Is Tangtang worried about me?” Fan Yi smiled faintly.
Si Tang didn’t want to admit it.
In truth, if his non-human identity were exposed and he were captured for research someday. Si Tang didn’t dare think further. After all, humans were truly greedy creatures.
“It won’t happen,” he leaned in and held her. “Besides, there’s still 8856.”
Mentioning this, Si Tang immediately thought of Xiao Liu, who had been forced onto this “pirate ship.”
“Why haven’t I seen your trident?” Si Tang asked curiously.
Fan Yi’s eyes flickered. “I let Xiao Liu take it out to play.”
Si Tang: “…”
Out to play? She suspected he had planned this for days, just to abduct her onto the cruise ship. And he didn’t want anything to disturb them.
As Si Tang finished her meal and wiped her lips, Fan Yi was already eyeing her intently, his gaze leaving no room for doubt.
Si Tang’s heart sank. Was he never going to stop?
“Three rules!” Before he could act, Si Tang pressed her index finger against his forehead, reminding him.
Fan Yi silently allowed himself to be pushed back into his seat.
“Then, can I kiss you?” he asked, feigning obedience, his captivating peach-blossom eyes shimmering with a deep blue glow.
Si Tang’s fingers softened, sliding down to rest on the tip of his nose and lips, only for him to grab her hand, gently bite her finger, and leave faint tooth marks.
“Alright. just one,” Si Tang murmured in agreement.
Fan Yi immediately pounced over, pressing Si Tang down on the chair and kissing her.
As dusk gradually fell, the sea breeze carried a salty, humid scent, and the cruise ship slowly docked at the private harbor of Hai Yuan.
Fan Yi stood by the gangway, stepping aside to let Si Tang disembark first.
However, the shoreline was unexpectedly ablaze with lights, and in the distance, one cruise ship after another was moored, nearly crowding the entire Hai Yuan pier.
Si Tang narrowed her eyes, her gaze sweeping across the scene before suddenly freezing in surprise at a spot not far away.
He Chenzhou was standing there.
He cut an elegant figure, his well-tailored suit accentuating his broad shoulders and back. A faint, almost imperceptible tension lingered between his brows, but the moment his eyes locked onto Si Tang, that tension abruptly eased. He strode over steadily, finally coming to a stop before her.
“Are you alright?” His voice was low, his gaze quickly sweeping over her. Only after confirming she was unharmed did the sharp coldness in his eyes completely melt away.
Si Tang was taken aback, still somewhat disoriented. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
He Chenzhou then turned his attention to Fan Yi behind her. Their eyes briefly clashed, and He Chenzhou’s gaze suddenly fixed on the other man’s sinister expression and overly conspicuous hair.
Dyeing his hair has really revealed his true nature, He Chenzhou silently scoffed inwardly.
An invisible undercurrent seemed to surge in the air. But in the end, He Chenzhou merely gave a slight nod.
Si Tang glanced sideways at Fan Yi, who had his hands in his pockets and raised an eyebrow lazily at her, wearing an expression of pure innocence.
The two men were equally tall, creating an inexplicably subtle atmosphere.
“It’s good that you’re alright. I heard you haven’t been to the company for a few days, so I was a bit worried,” He Chenzhou said, turning his attention back to Si Tang, his tone composed, without a hint of unease about his concern.
Fan Yi finally couldn’t resist speaking with sarcasm.
“What’s there to worry about when I’m bonding with my wife?”
Did He Chenzhou even realize that, in human terms, he was acting like a “homewrecker,” trying to steal someone else’s partner?
He Chenzhou ignored him, his expression remaining as calm as still water.
Whether intentional or not, Fan Yi suddenly pulled Siting into his arms, lifting his chin slightly.
“Thank you for your excessive concern, President He. Since everything’s fine now, shouldn’t you withdraw your people? Having them parked right outside my house like this might scare my wife.”He smoothly referred to her as ‘my wife’ over and over, his eyes full of pride and provocation.” Yet, when Si Tang’s gaze swept over him, he suppressed the sharpness in his eyes.
He Chenzhou didn’t respond, his gaze instinctively falling on Si Tang. He noticed she showed no trace of disgust and even seemed quite accustomed to it.
The two of them standing together looked inexplicably well-matched, and a faint, bitter sense of unwillingness unexpectedly stirred in his heart.
An intuition told him that something had already happened between them on the cruise ship over the past three days.
Fan Yi suddenly stepped forward, blocking his view of Si Tang’s emotions, leaving only half of her shoulder visible. Deliberately, he smoothed her hair, revealing a love bite on her neck.
He Chenzhou’s expression instantly froze.
Seeing his rival’s composure shatter, Fan Yi felt immensely pleased inside. With one arm wrapped around Si Tang’s waist, he half-forced her toward Hai Yuan, lazily remarking,
“My wife and I have a lot of private matters to discuss, so it’s not convenient to entertain you, President He. Take care, and we won’t see you out.”
As his words faded, Fan Yi had already ushered Si Tang through the doorway, and with a “bang,” the door slammed shut.
To be precise, it was kicked shut.
The room was unlit, only the motion-sensing light at the entrance suddenly flickered on. In the dim, warm glow, his half-narrowed eyes appeared particularly dangerous like a predator guarding its treasure from being snatched away.
