After Marrying the Cold Omega in Secret - Chapter 66
After resting for a while longer, they moved to the restroom area of the bar to continue filming.
Wen Qin waited by the door for less than a minute before Shen Huai’s figure emerged from the crowd.
As she watched her approach, the surrounding noise seemed to fade away, as if the entire world had narrowed down to just the two of them.
They simply gazed at each other without saying a word.
Wen Qin took Shen Huai’s hand and led her to a quiet corner.
Next came their first kissing scene.
Chu Jin’s emotions were complicated. Though she and Chi Ye had kissed countless times in private, this was the first time in front of the camera.
Strangely, she felt the same nervous shyness as their very first kiss.
The moment their lips met, that familiar flutter of excitement surged through her. In that instant, she could no longer tell whether she was Wen Qin or Chu Jin.
Chi Ye responded just as passionately, even greedily deepening the kiss, as if unable to get enough of her.
Both were completely immersed in the scene starting with tentative softness before escalating into fervent intensity.
Even the director was captivated, only reluctantly calling “Cut!” after what felt like forever.
“Perfect! Exactly the vibe I wanted!” Su Chenxiao had directed many kissing scenes, but rarely had she seen one so visually stunning yet emotionally charged.
She strongly suspected these two had been secretly practicing off-camera.
After separating, Chu Jin felt her cheeks burning, an uneasy restlessness stirring in her chest.
She needed another inhibitor shot.
Chi Ye noticed her discomfort and, when no one was paying attention, murmured coolly, “Having a reaction?”
Her tone held no concern only faint mockery.
Chu Jin arched a brow. “What, want to satisfy me?”
Chi Ye’s smirk faltered at the counter-tease. With so many people around, she refused to escalate this dangerous banter where ears might overhear.
Morning filming concluded as noon approached. After lunch, they’d relocate for the afternoon shoot their one-night stand scene.
Per the director’s vision, it wouldn’t be explicit, but required multiple angles, meaning they’d have to simulate every stage of intimacy.
Their costumes wouldn’t be overly revealing, though bare arms and legs were unavoidable. Strategic camera angles would imply everything without actual contact.
In short: no real sex, but convincing illusions of it.
Knowing this, Chu Jin decisively injected a strong inhibitor.
Otherwise, she couldn’t guarantee her body wouldn’t respond authentically to the simulated passion.
Su Chenxiao’s standards were exacting, she even made Chu Jin remove her elaborate manicure, trimming all ten nails to short, clean ovals.
Chu Jin couldn’t argue, silently impressed by the director’s attention to detail.
Freshly bare-nailed, she endured Chi Ye’s taunt:
A sip of coffee. A smirk. “Had to sacrifice those matching manicures with your sweet little sister?”
Chu Jin gritted her teeth. “Yeah. Got a problem?”
She remembered too well flaunting those nails days earlier purely to provoke Chi Ye.
Defiantly, she added, “No big deal. I’ll redo them after filming.”
Chi Ye offered no reply, simply leaning back with closed eyes, feigning rest.
At this moment, Chu Jin suddenly remembered something. Taking advantage of the set still being adjusted, she sat down beside Chi Ye and teased with a sidelong glance, “Where’s your little fan?”
Feng Yuwei, who had been watching the filming in the morning, didn’t show up in the afternoon. To be precise, she’d disappeared during the last kissing scene before lunch.
Chi Ye didn’t open her eyes, showing no reaction to Chu Jin’s remark.
After a moment, she replied leisurely, “Your dear sister hasn’t come to visit the set either, has she?”
Chu Jin: “…”
Since when did she become so sharp-tongued?
Chi Ye gave a cold laugh. “Isn’t that right?”
Not expecting Chi Ye to press further, Chu Jin found herself at a loss for words.
Fortunately, the makeup artist arrived just then.
Everything was ready, they just needed some touch-ups before filming could begin.
Seizing the opportunity, Chu Jin dismissed the conversation lightly. “No time to argue with you.”
After the touch-ups, they moved to their starting positions by the bedroom door.
“Remember, you’re both slightly drunk,” Su Chenxiao said bluntly as always. “Alcohol naturally heightens sexual desire. Wen Qin, though you’re a virgin, you’re experienced in romance. So you should be relatively familiar with this, taking the dominant position. The breakup has also made you crave sex intensely.”
Then turning to Chi Ye: “Shen Huai appears cold but is actually repressed. You need to portray that aloofness while showing her helpless infatuation with Wen Qin resisting yet yielding, with restrained desire.”
“Wen Qin shouldn’t show too much affection for her, this is just a one-night stand. But Shen Huai can reveal a hint of emotion.”
After letting them absorb the directions, Su Chenxiao called for action.
Starting from entering the room.
Chu Jin immediately got into character, guiding Chi Ye inside.
The moment the door closed, she pinned Chi Ye against it, planting a rough kiss.
More frenzied than their bar scene.
Chi Ye wrapped her arms around Chu Jin’s neck, responding with tentative passion.
Their kisses carried them from the door to the couch. With one hand around Chi Ye’s waist, Chu Jin began undoing her dress with the other.
Chi Ye panted softly, momentarily forgetting they were acting.
Unlike usual, beneath the dress was a close-fitting bustier invisible to the camera, creating the illusion of full nudity.
Finally, Chu Jin carried Chi Ye to the bed.
Chi Ye’s long legs naturally hooked around her waist as she arched slightly upward.
The familiar position made Chu Jin’s heart unexpectedly warm.
Between kisses, she nibbled at Chi Ye’s ear and whispered, “Done this before?”
Even under the camera’s gaze, Chi Ye genuinely trembled at the sensitive spot, her voice husky as she delivered her line: “No.”
Chu Jin trailed downward, her tongue flicking against the pale skin of Chi Ye’s neck before sucking hard, leaving a red mark.
“Then I’ll be gentle, just one finger, okay?”
“Okay.”
After this exchange, Chu Jin raised herself up. The camera zoomed in on her hand.
Her slender fingers, tips faintly pink against smooth skin, looked intensely erotic.
The hand lightly caressed from the abdomen, then drifted downward.
This concluded the main filming sequence. Next, they needed to shoot a few more close-up hugging scenes to enhance the visual layers during the final editing.
It was now an intermission. Chi Ye’s ears still carried a faint blush, but it was understandable given the nature of the scene, maintaining complete calm was nearly impossible.
She clenched her fingers tightly, digging her nails into her palm until it ached.
Yet she couldn’t suppress the shame and frustration in her heart.
During that last take, she had shamefully gotten wet.
And deep down, she even felt a twinge of regret when it ended abruptly.
If only they weren’t under the camera’s gaze.
Chu Jin was equally restless. During the filming, she could no longer distinguish between reality and fiction as if, in that moment, they weren’t Wen Qin and Shen Huai, but truly Chu Jin and Chi Ye.
Still, both concealed it flawlessly, betraying no hint of reluctance or lingering emotion.
By the time filming wrapped up completely, it was already 6 p.m.
“Today went smoothly! We finished even earlier than I expected.” Su Chenxiao had been in high spirits all day, his tone cheerful. “Everyone can rest now. We’ll continue tomorrow.”
After shooting all afternoon, both women had been tense. The moment the director announced the end, exhaustion washed over them.
As filming concluded, Feng Yuwei hurried over, heading straight to Chi Ye with warm concern.
At the same time, Chu Jin heard a familiar voice.
“Sister.”
As gentle and sweet as ever.
Chu Jin turned and, just as expected, saw Jiang Xu’s radiant smile.
She was carrying fruit slices and a small cake, walking toward Chu Jin.
“Sister, you must be hungry? Have a little something first.”
Chu Jin glanced at the exquisitely packaged takeout box before accepting it. “Why are you here? Didn’t you say you’d visit in a few days?”
Yesterday, after delivering the bouquet, Jiang Xu had left a message with Feng Pei’er saying she’d come to visit in a few days. So Chu Jin hadn’t expected her to show up today.
“I couldn’t wait.” Jiang Xu pressed her lips together. “I missed you.”
She spoke earnestly, as if from the heart. Chu Jin studied her tender gaze, and a suspicion flickered in her chest could Jiang Xu harbor feelings beyond sisterly affection?
But she dismissed the thought almost immediately.
They had known each other for years. Jiang Xu had never crossed any boundaries, and Chu Jin had always treated her like a younger sister something Jiang Xu was well aware of.
So how could there be anything else?
When Chu Jin didn’t respond immediately, Jiang Xu tensed and changed the subject. “How was filming today?”
Before Chu Jin could answer, Chi Ye interjected.
“We shot a bed scene. It went pretty well.”
Chu Jin’s gaze snapped toward her. Chi Ye’s expression was cool and detached, as if she hadn’t been the one to speak.
Frowning, Chu Jin shot her a look. Since when are you the chatty type?
But Chi Ye merely raised a brow, indifferent.
Jiang Xu’s face paled at the words. Then, in the next second, her pupils constricted in disbelief as she glanced at Chi Ye, then back at Chu Jin. “Sister, is this, the one you did the dating show with?”
Seeing Jiang Xu’s drastic change in expression earlier, Chu Jin had already guessed what she wanted to ask. Since it wasn’t a secret anyway, Chu Jin nodded directly, “Yes, it’s her.”
Feng Yuwei, who had also been looking grim, seized the opportunity to interject, “Everything on the dating show was fake. They were just business partners.”
Feng Yuwei’s explanation served as important reassurance. Jiang Xu’s eyes darted between Chu Jin and Chi Ye, and seeing neither of them refute it, her clenched heart finally relaxed.
Feng Yuwei’s mood improved considerably too. She took the initiative to ask Chi Ye, “President Chi, are you free this afternoon?”
No sooner had she spoken than Jiang Xu turned to Chu Jin and said, “Sister, shall we go eat together?”
Chu Jin glanced subtly at Chi Ye out of the corner of her eye. After a moment’s hesitation, she deliberately raised her voice, “Sure! I’m starving!”
“What should we eat?” Chu Jin asked with curved eyes.
Delighted that Chu Jin had agreed to dine with her, Jiang Xu’s earlier gloom dissipated instantly, her tone becoming cheerful, “I’ve reserved a table at Heart Island Sky Restaurant. I heard their French cuisine is excellent.”
This was one of Linhe’s most renowned high-end restaurants, located atop the Linhe Commerce Tower with a panoramic view of the entire city. However, reservations typically needed to be made days in advance. Whenever Chu Jin heard about the waiting list, she’d always backed off. So while she knew of its reputation, she’d never been.
Today seemed like a fortunate opportunity to experience it.
Still feeling somewhat excited, Chu Jin left with Jiang Xu shortly after.
Chi Ye narrowed her eyes, watching them depart until they completely disappeared around the corner. Her already unpleasant expression turned even icier.
Seeing the unapproachable coldness radiating from Chi Ye, Feng Yuwei had already prepared to give up.
Just as she was about to tactfully take her leave, Chi Ye suddenly spoke:
“You asked if I had time, did you want to have dinner together?”
Hearing Chi Ye’s question, Feng Yuwei’s eyes widened in surprise before she nodded eagerly, “Yes, I’ve booked!”
Before she could finish, Chi Ye cut her off.
Her tone brooked no argument.
“I’ll choose the restaurant.”
