After Little Sweet Omega Runs with the Ball - Chapter 49
The Omega was pressed against the wall, letting out broken cries.
It was too much. Ji Mingxue was being far too much.
Her aunt was sleeping peacefully in the room next door and could be awakened at any moment. Yet, Ji Mingxue insisted on pulling open the front of her clothes. Ji Mingxue’s fingers rubbed rhythmically against Song Shuangtian’s neck as she peeled off the gland patch and tossed it aside.
Song Shuangtian was forced to soften her voice and plead, “Do not. Can we go somewhere else, please?”
“But I miss you.”
Ji Mingxue’s kisses fell onto Song Shuangtian’s gland without a word. Merely brushing against it with her lips was not enough; she began to graze it with her teeth. The sharp sensation on her gland made Song Shuangtian tremble, nearly losing her footing. Her fingers clutched Ji Mingxue’s shoulders, pressing down in an attempt to make the Alpha retreat. However, this act of a “kitten showing its claws” felt like nothing more than flirting to the Alpha.
“Are you unhappy?” Ji Mingxue asked, her mouth still near the gland.
Song Shuangtian’s eyes turned red with frustration, a layer of tears shimmering in her gaze. It was over the line. She could even see her aunt turn over in the bed through the corner of her eye. The intense feeling of transgression made Song Shuangtian begin to weep silently.
Facing the pitiful state of the Omega, Ji Mingxue did not feel heartache. Instead, she increased the pressure of her teeth. The gland was pierced. The Alpha, currently in a restless rut, finally tasted the high-compatibility pheromones. Her wife cried beautifully, hair clinging to her face. Ji Mingxue kindly tucked the stray strands behind her ear.
“I will be very gentle. Aunt will not find out.”
With that, Ji Mingxue kicked the door shut. While the Alpha enjoyed her prey, she reflected on the days Song Shuangtian was away. Ji Mingxue had hidden all her sharp edges and pride, striving to play the role of a perfect caretaker. She had smiled in front of the aunt so much her face felt stiff, often enduring the older woman’s blunt remarks.
Ji Mingxue could only apologize pitifully and promise it would never happen again. But the predatory nature was etched into an Alpha’s bones. She could lie low for a while, but she could never truly change her core.
“You said you would restrain yourself,” Song Shuangtian sobbed, nearly fainting as Alpha pheromones were injected into her gland. This was too much. She wanted to break up with this person!
“If Tiantian hates it, she can push me away.”
Song Shuangtian stepped hard on Ji Mingxue’s foot. She pushed, but she could not move her.
Outside the window, a breeze stirred the blooming magnolias. The large, white petals were lifted high before landing on the windowsill. In the nursing home’s artificial lake, the water sparkled, and two white swans rested with their necks intertwined. The Omega slumped weakly into Ji Mingxue’s arms like a sacrificed swan, but the Alpha had no intention of letting her go.
“You said if Aunt,” before Ji Mingxue could finish, a sharp slap sent her face to the side. Her cheek burned with a stinging pain.
Song Shuangtian was both ashamed and furious. “What are you saying?!”
Tasting blood in her mouth, the Alpha knelt on the ground, using her lips to explore the Omega’s abdomen. She kissed a faint red mark onto the white, supple skin.
“Hit me softer, or Aunt will think you are domesticating me with violence,” Ji Mingxue said, playing the victim. “I will go cry to her that you are bullying me.”
Song Shuangtian was shocked by her shamelessness. She wanted to kick Ji Mingxue’s shoulder but worried the gesture would seem like a reward. She had encountered a pervert; it was terrifying. Before, she only thought Ji Mingxue was unreasonable and inconsiderate; now she realized the woman had the potential to be a total deviant.
“Do not look at my stomach. It is not pretty.” The Omega tried to cover her midriff, but the Alpha moved her hands away.
“It is not.”
Song Shuangtian had been crying out of frustration, but now she felt despair. Her body used to be flawless like white jade, and she kept in great shape with exercise, even having visible abs. Now, after having a child, there were less-than-perfect lines on her abdomen. Though she had recovered well and ninety percent of the marks had faded into near-invisibility, Ji Mingxue’s lips would surely sense the difference between her and an untouched girl.
Would Ji Mingxue hate it? Song Shuangtian could not help but think that if she did, they should just break up. Having a child required a price, and Song Shuangtian herself did not like touching the uneven textures of those old wounds.
Ji Mingxue murmured, “These flame patterns are symbols of life. You are beautiful.”
Song Shuangtian dazed. “What did you say?” Her nose was red from crying as she replied in a muffled tone, “You really will say any nonsense just to coax me.”
Ji Mingxue said, “I am not lying. I like them.”
After that reckless episode, Song Shuangtian did not dare visit her aunt for over a week. Conversely, Ji Mingxue acted as if her company had gone bankrupt; she was so idle that she clung to Song Shuangtian all day long.
The receptionist at Reborn tactfully reminded her, “Boss, can we give CEO Ji a pass for the private elevator?”
Song Shuangtian asked, “Why?”
The receptionist looked troubled. “Every time CEO Ji comes with flowers, it affects the employees’ commute.”
Song Shuangtian did not understand how one extra person in an elevator mattered until she checked the security footage. Every time Ji Mingxue arrived, she was carrying a bouquet of over two hundred roses. In an elevator meant for ten people, with Ji Mingxue standing there showily with her flowers, which employee would dare enter?
“Fine, issue her a pass.”
The receptionist added, “Also, do we need to arrange a dedicated parking spot?”
As Reborn expanded, parking became scarce. Song Shuangtian had rented the entire lot, but many cars still had to park outside. She glanced outside and saw it. Ji Mingxue’s crimson sports car was parked brazenly right at the entrance, and there was even a child seat installed in the back of the convertible.
Song Shuangtian was speechless. The woman was being so flashy. She finally understood what Ji Mingxue meant by “re-pursuing” her. It was a very “overbearing CEO” style of courting. Unfortunately, even an overbearing CEO cannot park at the main entrance. Even an overbearing CEO needs to learn how to reverse into a stall.
Song Shuangtian commanded, “Find a tow truck and move that scrap metal out of the way. It is an eyesore.”
The receptionist stifled a laugh. “Yes, I will contact the towing company immediately.”
The news that Reborn and M Group were on excellent terms had spread throughout the industry. Having gained the approval of the aunt, a shareholder, Ji Mingxue became even more flamboyant in her actions.
“Enough! I am working!” Song Shuangtian pressed her high heel against Ji Mingxue’s knee. “Get out.”
“I am in my rut.” Ji Mingxue held Song Shuangtian’s ankle, gently rubbing it against her palm.
Song Shuangtian was thoroughly enraged. “Your third rut this month? I should find a pair of pliers and pull your teeth out.”
Ji Mingxue was not angry at being exposed. She leaned down to kiss Song Shuangtian’s legs covered in black silk, tossed the high heels aside, and pressed her fingers into the arch of the Omega’s foot. The Alpha checked her watch. “It is twelve-thirty, which is the Chairperson’s lunch break. Can we finish before two-thirty?”
Ji Mingxue placed the rose bouquet on the Chairperson’s desk, covering documents and scenting the paper with floral fragrance. The Alpha smiled as she folded the Omega’s legs, pinning her into the executive chair that symbolized power.
Song Shuangtian was completely annoyed by her, yet her pheromones were being coaxed into restlessness by the Alpha’s scent. She almost wanted to dig her own gland out. Her body softened uncontrollably, her eyes growing misty.
“What do you actually want?”
Ji Mingxue did not rush to kiss her. Instead, she pressed her lips against Song Shuangtian’s pearl necklace. “Can you give me a key to your house?”
Song Shuangtian said, “You know the password.”
Ji Mingxue replied, “But you changed it.”
Song Shuangtian went silent. She had almost forgotten that. She was only trying to protect herself from a pervert; what was her crime?
The Alpha power-player, who commanded the world outside, acted like a loyal guard dog, trying to gain the owner’s trust by wagging her tail. Song Shuangtian locked the office door from the inside. However, as two-thirty approached, an oblivious employee still knocked from the outside. Song Shuangtian bit Ji Mingxue’s shoulder, not daring to make a sound.
“Is the Chairperson satisfied with my service?”
Ji Mingxue’s technique had improved rapidly, mainly due to frequent practice. Indeed, one should not just rely on theory. Song Shuangtian bit Ji Mingxue’s shoulder hard, causing the latter to hiss in pain.
“It is mediocre,” Song Shuangtian said sharply. “The password is.”
“I do not want the password,” Ji Mingxue interrupted. “Give me the physical key.”
Her Omega was too smart; she would change the password at any time, leaving Ji Mingxue and the cub locked outside. Ever since Song Shuangtian realized Ji Mingxue could take care of Guanguan, she, as a mother, really did not want to raise the child herself anymore.
Song Shuangtian stared at the ceiling, suppressing a sob. “The key is under the rug at the door.”
Seeing the ring on Ji Mingxue’s hand stained with a layer of moisture, Song Shuangtian said in a thin rage, “That is the heirloom ring my aunt gave you, and this is how you use it?! Go wash it immediately!”
How outrageous. She had never realized Ji Mingxue could be so terrible.
Having obtained the key, Ji Mingxue gave her white jade dumpling a flurry of kisses. “We can live at Mama’s house from now on.”
The Alpha had achieved a milestone victory. Next would be coaxing Song Shuangtian into an engagement ceremony and sliding that long-treasured ring onto her ring finger.
Guanguan was a bit dazed from the kisses. She was confused. It was her Mother kissing her, so why did she smell like Mama’s pheromones? Guanguan had not seen her Mama for a while. But she was a good girl; she would play by herself and not disturb her parents’ work.
The kindergarten sent a message requiring every parent to film at least one video of their child exercising. Ji Mingxue received this while in a meeting at her company. In the conference room, Ji Mingxue appeared to be checking important messages on her phone, but she was actually brainstorming. All the employees stole glances at their serious boss, wondering if they had done something wrong. They wondered which unlucky person would get scolded today.
“CEO Ji?” Lu Xing nudged Ji Mingxue with her elbow. “The employee has finished reporting.”
Ji Mingxue switched back to work mode instantly. “Mm. The group’s next strategic goal.”
After the two-hour meeting, the kindergarten group chat was already filled with videos from other parents. The cub was currently in the breakroom building Legos; her child really did not like exercise. Ji Mingxue finished work and took the cub to the convertible, placing her in the driver’s seat. A few minutes later, a video appeared in the class group chat.
A child under four had both hands on the steering wheel with a serious expression. The engine hummed softly like a beast waiting to strike. The evening wind blew through the child’s braids, which were decorated with sparkling clips. As the camera panned out, one could see the towering skyscrapers and the brightly lit overpasses. If the child’s legs could reach the pedals, she would have truly looked like a racer.
Song Shuangtian was stunned when she saw the group chat. She thought, “Which foolish, vain parent is posing for photos?” Then she looked closer. Oh, it was her own child. She was embarrassed to death. She really did not want to admit Ji Mingxue was her partner.
The group chat went quiet for a moment. The teacher replied, “Please stay on topic, parent.” This was supposed to be exercise, not a photoshoot! Also, how could any parent be comfortable putting a child in the driver’s seat? We know you are rich, but please, calm down.
Ji Mingxue saw the commotion her actions caused among the employees leaving the building, who all internally praised the boss’s love for her child. She wordlessly plucked the cub from the seat. “Can you jump rope?”
“I cannot.”
“Basketball?”
“I cannot.”
Ji Mingxue had seen her cub play with a ball once; it bounced up and hit her in the head. The elderly butler never dared to put a ball in front of the young lady again. After asking about several sports and getting blank stares, Ji Mingxue began to get a headache. She had received A+ in every subject since she was little; there was no reason her child should fail.
Ji Mingxue decided to just go for it. “I need to film a video of you exercising for homework. If you do not perform well, you get no chocolate this month.” Stress does not disappear; it just transfers. Ji Mingxue transferred it to the cub.
The cub gave an “OK” gesture and told Ji Mingxue to record.
Lu Xing came out of the main entrance with her briefcase and saw a pink shadow dart up a lamppost. A monkey at the office? Before she could see clearly, she noticed employees gathering nearby, wanting to look but afraid to approach.
“What is happening?” Lu Xing frowned and moved forward. She saw a child in a pink dress using all four limbs to scramble up the lamppost. The twelve-meter post was not short; it was high enough to kill someone if they fell.
“Guanguan?!” Lu Xing gasped. “CEO Ji, this is not good, is it?” She hurried forward to stop employees from filming. She really wanted to ask why the boss was not controlling the child, only to see the boss was the one recording. Lu Xing’s vision went dark. Is this how Alphas raise children?
Guanguan perched at the top. “Did Mother finish filming?”
“Finished.” The homework would definitely get an A+. Other kids could not climb trees, but her child was the best.
Lu Xing complexly dispersed the employees; she felt she had sacrificed too much for this family. Ji Mingxue had not stopped her because Guanguan was already very skilled at climbing, and she had the ability to protect the child. She had even placed cushions under trees near the villa before; a fall would not result in broken bones. Ji Mingxue did not believe a child should live in a vacuum; they needed to get hurt and understand the world through experience.
“Be careful.”
Ji Mingxue had evolved from needing “Calm Mind” liquid to raise the cub to being able to let her run wild. She had slowly developed a strong heart. Guanguan used her hands and feet to slowly move down. Suddenly, a shadow like a bird approached the child in the dark, the sound of wings flapping being very ominous.
“Ah!” Guanguan had never seen a bat, a hairy, ugly thing flying wildly. Even an adult would lose their mind if a bat flew in their face. Seeing the child in a free fall, Ji Mingxue reacted quickly and caught her mid-air. Surrounded by her Mother’s scent, the cub cried hysterically. The acceleration of the fall made the child quite heavy, causing Ji Mingxue immense pain the moment she caught her. The bat seemed to watch for a moment before flying away.
Guanguan wailed, “I never want to climb trees again.”
Ji Mingxue’s arm went numb, followed by a pain like muscle tearing. Fortunately, it was not dislocated or broken, but she could not lift her left arm. After soothing Guanguan, she drove home, to Song Shuangtian’s house.
“Why is Mother driving with one hand?” Guanguan was still sobbing and did not even care about the convertible’s view, just blowing her nose into a handkerchief.
Ji Mingxue’s left arm hurt, but she did not need to tell the child. The child was scared today and would likely be cautious about climbing in the future. There was no need to burden her further. The night wind blew through the Alpha’s long hair. She ignored the teacher’s panicked emojis and the shock from other parents in the group chat. Other kids were running, jumping rope, or playing chess. Her child climbing a lamppost was simply a different competitive track.
At home, Ji Mingxue bathed the cub and washed her clothes. Once the child was fed and asleep, she sat on the sofa by the window to work. The pressure of work distracted her from the pain. When Song Shuangtian returned, she saw Ji Mingxue working diligently. The Alpha was wearing peach silk pajamas, her long hair draped over her shoulders, and reading glasses perched on her nose. She was not causing trouble or researching weird toys. It was quiet and peaceful.
Song Shuangtian was dazed. “Who let you into my house?”
Ji Mingxue took off her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose. “You gave me the key. Did that not mean I should come here to serve you? Chairperson, I have always been very observant.”
Song Shuangtian’s veins throbbed. Ever since Ji Mingxue started pursuing her again, she had to be on guard every day. This person acted as if she were high on Song Shuangtian’s pheromones and could not leave her side for a second. Song Shuangtian wondered if her scent was addictive.
“The teacher called me and told me to supervise you. You are not allowed to take the child to do dangerous sports.”
“The keys were not in the car,” Ji Mingxue replied.
Song Shuangtian was so angry her head hurt. “No climbing trees either! I heard the engine noise; do not try to lie to me!”
Ji Mingxue smiled. “Did the teacher give an A+?”
Song Shuangtian thought she was a modern-day involution king, but heard Ji Mingxue say slowly, “Guanguan probably will not like climbing trees anymore. Do not worry. I ordered Japanese food; do you want some?”
Song Shuangtian paused. She felt nauseous at the sight of raw fish and shook her head. She did not understand what Ji Mingxue meant. Guanguan had always loved climbing since she was little, attracting onlookers at parks and the school. Song Shuangtian had worried constantly, though relieved the child had not been hurt. She often wondered if the trait came from Ji Mingxue’s childhood naughtiness.
Song Shuangtian put her bag on the table, placed her shoes on the rack, and naturally began to slide the stockings off her legs.
“I say, Chairperson, are you not a bit too hurried?”
Song Shuangtian glared at her. “Do not look.”
It was impossible not to look. Ji Mingxue finished her last email. “Dear, you have worked hard.”
Song Shuangtian crumpled the stockings and threw them into the laundry basket. She felt uncomfortable when they stuck to her. She walked barefoot on the floor, each step leaving a tiny footprint that quickly vanished. The Omega had been working hard lately and slumped onto Ji Mingxue like a koala.
“How strange. Why did you not pin me against the entryway today?”
Ji Mingxue smiled but did not speak.
“The company recently invested in a farm project and leased an organic fruit production site. It is the weekend tomorrow; do you want to go play?”
Song Shuangtian had just returned from a business trip to Europe and was exhausted. She had to deal with Ji Mingxue during the day and work at night. Fortunately, the project was over, and she had a few days of vacation.
“A farm?”
Ji Mingxue used her uninjured right hand to hold Song Shuangtian’s thin waist. “The farm has hot springs and watermelon fields.”
Song Shuangtian hummed under the pressure, not noticing that Ji Mingxue’s left arm had remained still. The Omega Chairperson kissed her employee and stopped the right hand that wanted to cause trouble.
“Okay.”
Ji Mingxue, who was starting to feel the mood, was forced to stop.
“Can I have a bite?”
“No.”
Song Shuangtian rolled her eyes. Like a cat teasing in the night, she rubbed against Ji Mingxue and then walked away, wagging her tail. What surprised her was that Ji Mingxue did not get up, did not grab her waist, or pin her to the sofa. Had this person finally learned to behave?
Song Shuangtian walked with a feline grace into the master bedroom. She began to undress in front of the floor-length mirror. She had been feeling sleepy lately and was over-reliant on Ji Mingxue’s pheromones. Even with the door closed, she could still smell the fishy scent of the raw fish. Once bitten, twice shy.
Song Shuangtian sighed inwardly as a bad feeling took hold. She took out a pregnancy test from the bottom of a box. It only required a bit of Omega pheromones to check for pregnancy. She used a fine needle to prick her gland, taking a tiny amount of pheromones to drop onto the test.
As she waited, her heart hammered against her chest. She ruffled her hair anxiously. When the time was up, the test showed two lines.
Song Shuangtian: !!!
When did this happen?! Was it that time next to her aunt’s ward? Or the time in the office? Or maybe in the car?
Song Shuangtian nearly crushed the pregnancy test. This Alpha had to go.
