- Chapter 24.1 - Wouldn't you like to do something memorable on your engagement night?
Xian Ning had no defense against it.
Her body was continuously heating up as if she were in the grip of a prolonged, high fever. Her skin, singed by the heat, had become incredibly sensitive even the slightest breath on it could send shivers through her.
Her strength seemed to have been drained entirely, leaving her at the mercy of the person in front of her.
Such an unruly hand. What is Xue Yingxian doing?
Xue Yingxian lifted Xian Ning’s waist, her lips pressing against the pale, soft skin. Her heavy breaths felt like flames, and with a single gust of wind, the fire would spread for miles.
An electric current shot from her waist throughout her body. Xian Ning’s eyes widened. She wanted to escape this overwhelming vortex of pleasure, but Xue Yingxian’s hands were clamped around her like iron pincers, making it an effort to even move.
Noticing Xian Ning’s subtle movements, Xue Yingxian’s lips trailed up from her slender waist, finally stopping at her ear.
“Where are you trying to escape to, Sister?”
Xian Ning whimpered and shrank back. Xue Yingxian gently took her ear in her mouth and murmured, “Don’t be scared, I won’t hurt you.”
Xian Ning knew this to be true. Although Xue Yingxian could sometimes lose control, she was generally gentle and had never done anything to make her feel this out of sorts before.
But tonight, for some reason, perhaps because her family was just on the other side of the wall, her body was especially…
Any small movement from Xue Yingxian could elicit a strong response from her. Xian Ning had a strange feeling that she might be the one to lose control first.
And so, she had to prevent that from happening to avoid things getting weird.
“Xiao Xian, can we just quietly go to sleep? Hmm?”
Her soft plea didn’t evoke any sympathy from Xue Yingxian. Instead, it only fueled her desire. Xue Yingxian’s already precarious self-control completely crumbled.
“Mmhmm,” Xue Yingxian replied, the sound a low, raspy groan that was laced with an unidentifiable emotion.
Before Xian Ning could feel a sense of relief, Xue Yingxian was lying beside her.
With a long arm, Xue Yingxian gently turned Xian Ning so she was on her side, her back to her. She wrapped her arms around her from behind, her chest fitting perfectly against her back.
“Okay, let’s go to sleep quietly. But you have to hold on, okay, Sister?”
Before Xian Ning could even react, she was bitten lightly on the back of her neck. Almost at the same time, the hand around her waist had dipped into a dark, secret place, and successfully scooped up a handful of water.
“Xue Yingxian, you’re not a good girl at all!”
It was meant to be an angry reprimand, but her voice was so soft and breathless that it had no authority. It sounded more like she was pouting.
Xue Yingxian bit down on the soft flesh in her mouth, making Xian Ning’s neck flinch. Her ears and neck were a flushed pink, making her look incredibly tempting.
Xue Yingxian’s eyes turned red. Her already dark pupils grew even darker, with desire churning deep within them.
“I’m already listening to you so well. How much more of a good girl do you want me to be?”
Xue Yingxian let go of Xian Ning’s neck, but she was back in a moment, kissing and nibbling on her ear. Her hand was also busy in the dark.
“Now it’s your turn to listen, Sister.”
As soon as she spoke, she opened her mouth and bit Xian Ning’s cheek.
Tears welled up in Xian Ning’s eyes. Her wet eyelashes fluttered as her beautiful almond-shaped eyes became cloudy with mist, looking innocent and pure, making one want to tarnish them.
Held in Xue Yingxian’s embrace, Xian Ning felt like a rabbit caught by a beast. There was no escape, front or back. She could only watch herself become dinner.
The beast bit her on the face and…
Xue Yingxian’s wrist moved quickly, trying to turn the little rabbit in her arms into a confused mess, so she would willingly be eaten.
“Xue Yingxian… mhm!”
Xian Ning’s slender waist arched, and she slowly drew in. Xue Yingxian held onto her tightly, leaving no space between their bodies.
“Xian Ning, tell me you love me.”
To keep herself from making a sound, Xian Ning bit her lower lip so hard it was about to break. Her eyes were blurry with tears, and her head was starting to spin. She desperately wanted to give Xue Yingxian what she wanted, but she was afraid that if she spoke, a strange sound would come out instead.
Xian Ning tightly gripped the hand around her waist, hoping to convey her feelings that way.
But Xue Yingxian was a total brute now. She didn’t notice Xian Ning’s little actions. She only knew that she hadn’t heard the words, “I love you.”
“Say you love me! Say it!”
Her voice was full of urgency, and her movements became more hurried. To keep herself from dying at Xue Yingxian’s hands, Xian Ning turned her head and said, “I love you, Xue Yingxian, I love!”
Her tone suddenly changed. The tears she had been holding back gushed out, soaking Xue Yingxian’s chin.
Xue Yingxian stared at her, her eyes as dark as could be, filled with a frantic obsession. Her pupils were black, blending with the darkness of the night.
Clang. There was another sound. The person in the bathroom was out.
Xian Ning started, her entire body shaking uncontrollably. Her chin lifted slightly, and her neck went taut, like a noble and elegant swan.
Xue Yingxian kissed her neck and shoulders, comforting the trembling woman. The warmth of her hand didn’t extinguish her madness; it made her want more.
Xian Ning was sobbing, her eyes unfocused and blurry. Her shoulders trembled, but it wasn’t clear if it was from crying so hard or something else…
Ultimately, it was because she had been teased too much. But Xue Yingxian felt satisfied.
What a pure and innocent face. She was even more beautiful when she was crying. Xue Yingxian didn’t think she was a pervert, but at that moment, a kind of sadism was born inside her.
How I want to see her break down and cry. It must be a hundred times more beautiful than this.
Xian Ning slowly regained her composure, still sniffling. When she turned, she met Xue Yingxian’s bottomless eyes and quickly lowered her head in alarm.
What is she thinking? Is she going to…
Xian Ning subtly tried to create some distance between them. Luckily, the hand on her waist had finally let go, and she could make her escape.
But as the thought crossed her mind, she immediately sensed something was wrong.
Can I really?
Xue Yingxian looked at the beautiful lines of Xian Ning’s back. Her two protruding shoulder blades were like butterflies poised to fly away. She pulled her into her arms, taking her chin and kissing her red lips.
She had to hold on tightly to what she wanted and never let her fly away.
Before Xian Ning could resist, she heard Xue Yingxian say, “I wonder who was in the bathroom. Do you think they heard anything while they were in there for so long?”
Xian Ning froze.
She had deliberately avoided the question to keep from putting herself in an awkward situation. She couldn’t believe this asshole would be the one to rip the curtain down.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? You know your voice was loud, right?”
Xian Ning was so angry she wanted to cry. Her already damp eyes welled up with tears, and her lips trembled with grievance.
No matter how nasty Xue Yingxian was, seeing Xian Ning like this made her feel incredibly bad. She gently kissed away the tears that were about to fall, trying to comfort her.
“Don’t cry. I won’t say anything else, okay?”
“No!”
Xian Ning’s voice was full of tears. As the word came out, she felt even more wronged, and her tears started to fall, one after another.
Xue Yingxian panicked. She asked anxiously, “What can I do to make you feel better? How about you hit me?”
She took Xian Ning’s hand and waved it toward her own body. Whether it was on purpose or not, Xian Ning’s hand landed squarely on…
“Does hitting me not make you feel better?” Xue Yingxian asked.
Xian Ning was stunned for a few seconds. She looked up at her. “Do you really want me to feel better?”
Xue Yingxian nodded. “Yes.”
“Then I’ll do what I want, and you have to be a good girl and cooperate.”
Her words had a double meaning, and Xue Yingxian knew Xian Ning was up to something mischievous. But she couldn’t say no.
She managed to get the word “Okay” out, and before she could finish, Xian Ning had already lowered her head and held her in her mouth.
Xue Yingxian stiffened, and her first instinct was to push Xian Ning away. But Xian Ning was a step ahead of her. “You promised, yourself.”
Xue Yingxian’s outstretched hands changed their course to hug her shoulders.
Xian Ning continued to move her mouth, her skin becoming soft and rosy. The scent of shower gel rushed into her nose, making her feel like she was going to drown.
Xue Yingxian gradually relaxed. When Xian Ning’s teeth pressed down, she suddenly hugged Xian Ning’s head, burying her completely in the soft flesh.
Seeing her so moved, Xian Ning’s heart felt a soft itch, as if it was being lightly scratched by a fuzzy paw.
“Xiao Xian, it’s my turn now.”
If her parents had heard the commotion just now…
She couldn’t be the only one to be embarrassed. The culprit should feel it, too.
Xue Yingxian knew this wasn’t a request; Xian Ning had already made up her mind. But she hadn’t had her fill of watching the little rabbit in her arms tremble and lose control. How could she agree so easily?
“Alright,” Xue Yingxian said, letting go of Xian Ning. “But you’ve been holding onto this spot. Aren’t you going to take care of other places, too?”
Xian Ning looked up at her. Xue Yingxian’s eyes were flushed at the corners, her phoenix eyes tilted slightly upwards, and Xian Ning’s face was vaguely reflected in her dark pupils.
Xian Ning was bewitched. She let go of Xue Yingxian in a daze.
A smile with a hidden meaning appeared on Xue Yingxian’s lips. The next thing Xian Ning heard was a whisper in her ear, and she was already sitting on Xue Yingxian’s waist.
“So easy to trick, Sister.”
Xian Ning looked down at her, her eyes full of confusion. Where was the trust between people?
Xue Yingxian didn’t care. She only knew that the alluring, fragrant spot was right in front of her.
Her hands supported Xian Ning’s jade-like legs. The soft flesh of her thighs squeezed between her fingers, leaving behind vivid indentations.
Xue Yingxian’s throat moved, and she used her hands to lift Xian Ning up.
When she came down, it was a little hard. The fiery breaths burned every nerve. Xian Ning started to cry again.
“Xue Yingxian, how can you tease me like this?”
Xue Yingxian chuckled. The air she breathed out made Xian Ning squirm, wanting to escape immediately.
“I’m doing this because I love you. Save your energy for later.”
Xian Ning couldn’t argue. Or rather, she didn’t have time to argue. When a wet, slick tongue started moving like a nimble little snake, she knew she had fallen into the beast’s hands again and had become its prey.
In an instant, her control was gone. This bastard, Xue Yingxian!
At first, she was cursing in her mind, but soon her thoughts became muddled. Her head was spinning, and her vision was going white.
Xue Yingxian could feel the changes in her most of all. Her trembling stomach, her toes unconsciously straightening, and the hands that were constantly pressing down on her head all signaled one thing.
Xian Ning had reached her limit.
Perhaps it was due to the two prior experiences, but this time, all the sensations came with a fierce intensity. When Xian Ning realized this, she quickly tried to push Xue Yingxian away.
“Let go! Let go!”
Xue Yingxian lifted her eyelids to look at her, her tongue moving even faster, as if to show off. Xian Ning weakly resisted. After a sudden blankness, fireworks exploded in her mind.
Xue Yingxian hadn’t expected Xian Ning to be so sensitive. After a brief pause, she began to swallow quickly.
Xian Ning’s eyes were closed, her face streaked with tears. Her eyelashes fluttered continuously. When everything receded like a tide, she collapsed powerlessly to the side.
Xue Yingxian caught her, pulling her into her arms and gently patting her back, comforting her intense emotions.
For a long time, Xian Ning was just “exploding with fireworks.” Her brain was severely deprived of oxygen. Her eyes were blank and vacant, her gaze unfocused, and she didn’t know where to look.
Xue Yingxian thought she might have gone too far. She kissed and rubbed against her, softly calling her name.
“Go away, you dog!” Xian Ning pushed her away, her voice hoarse.
Xue Yingxian grabbed her hand and kissed it. “Okay, okay, I’m a dog. Don’t be mad, okay, Sister?”
Xian Ning’s eyelashes trembled, and more tears welled up in her eyes. “No.”
Her pitiful expression hit Xue Yingxian right in the heart. She held her tightly and lowered her head to kiss her.
Xue Yingxian’s kiss was incredibly gentle, and it comforted Xian Ning greatly. All her embarrassment and anger were forgotten. Her mind was immersed in the kiss, and the sound of their lips and teeth intertwined added a hint of beauty to the quiet night.
But even with her gentleness, Xue Yingxian couldn’t help but take all the air from Xian Ning’s mouth. She had to stop when Xian Ning’s face was flushed red.
Their lips parted, a silvery thread connecting them. Xian Ning’s blushing face was exceptionally alluring. Xue Yingxian secretly ground her teeth, her eyes filled with undisguised possessiveness.
There was a glistening sheen on Xue Yingxian’s lips. Xian Ning instinctively reached out to wipe it away, but Xue Yingxian beat her to it. She wiped the liquid away with her finger and put it in her mouth.
“It’s yours. It’s very sweet.”
Just five words were enough to make Xian Ning’s head want to explode. She trembled as she tried to cover Xue Yingxian’s mouth, but her hand was caught and kissed again.
After she let go, Xue Yingxian asked, “Did you taste it?”
Xian Ning couldn’t stand it for another second. She turned her back to Xue Yingxian, her voice trembling. “Say one more word, and you can get out.”
Xue Yingxian saw her huddled form and knew she was incredibly embarrassed. Afraid of making her little ancestor unhappy again, she chuckled and wrapped her arms around her from behind.
“Sister, turn around. I want to look at your face.”
Xian Ning refused. Xue Yingxian stirred restlessly, threatening, “Then we can continue. The night is still young, after all.”
Xian Ning immediately turned over in fear. Xue Yingxian’s low laughter came from above, a sexy, humming sound that was particularly intoxicating.
Xian Ning looked up at her and thought, For the sake of this face, I’ll forgive her this one time.
Xue Yingxian’s hand rested on Xian Ning’s lower back, then slowly slid down from her tailbone.
Xian Ning’s eyes widened, and Xue Yingxian kissed her nose. “I just want to help you clean up.”
Xian Ning didn’t believe her for a second. She rolled over, took out a wet wipe from the drawer, and said, “I’ll do it myself.”
Xue Yingxian stared directly at her, making it impossible for Xian Ning to do anything. She pushed Xue Yingxian’s face away and stuttered, “Don’t… don’t look at me.”
Xue Yingxian laughed again, taking the wet wipe from her hand. “Let me do it. You won’t be able to clean it properly if you can’t see.”
And you can?! Xian Ning thought.
It turned out she was still too young. As Xue Yingxian brazenly leaned in, she wanted to explode again.
Xue Yingxian meticulously wiped every tiny spot. Xian Ning buried her face in her pillow, her soft whimpers never stopping.
Xue Yingxian chuckled. “It’s winter, isn’t it? Why do I hear a little cat meowing?”
Xian Ning grabbed the pillow and hit her hard in the face with it. “That’s enough!” she yelled.
Xue Yingxian didn’t get angry at being hit. She stared at Xian Ning for a few seconds, then tackled her and pulled her into a hug.
“Xian Ning, I love you so much.”
Xian Ning’s heart instantly softened. She hugged Xue Yingxian’s waist and buried her face in her chest.
Me, too.
*********
Luhan left early in the morning. She didn’t say anything to her family, not even a simple goodbye.
When Xian Ning woke up, it was already the afternoon. She had two text messages from Luhan.
The first said, “I’m sorry.”
The second said, “I love you.”
Xian Ning felt an immense panic as she read them. Although she had a good idea of Luhan’s feelings after last night, she still couldn’t accept her saying it so directly.
Even though she had lived in the Xue family for seventeen years, they were still sisters.
People shouldn’t… At the very least, they shouldn’t…
Her mind was in a complete mess. Xian Ning put down her phone and buried her face in her pillow. Xue Yingxian massaged her waist. “Are you feeling unwell?”
Xian Ning turned to look at her, her eyebrows drooping. “Luhan…”
She couldn’t say it. It was impossible to say. How could she tell someone that her own sister was in love with her?
Xue Yingxian’s smile faded a little. “Did she confess to you?”
Xian Ning was stunned. After a long moment, she said, “How did you… No, you knew she liked me?”
“Yes, I’ve always known,” Xue Yingxian said, wrapping her arms around her. “She sees me as a rival, and she’s never hidden her feelings for you.”
Xian Ning pulled away, demanding, “Then why didn’t you tell me?”
Xue Yingxian’s eyes flickered. “I didn’t want to cause you any unnecessary trouble. Look at you now. Aren’t you worried sick because of this?”
“That may be true, but I feel like you’re trying to manipulate me.”
Hearing her adorable words, Xue Yingxian lunged and hugged her, kissing and nipping at her as if she wanted to melt into her very bones.
Xian Ning was in a daze. “Something must be wrong. How can Luhan like me? We’re sisters, after all.”
Unconsciously, Xian Ning thought of the punishment for breaking the plot.
Is something this scary happening because I broke the story’s timeline?
Xue Yingxian kissed her cheek and said softly, “You and Luhan aren’t related by blood. She’s your parents’ adopted daughter.”
Xian Ning was stunned. From her inherited memories, the original host had this sister from a young age. How could they not be related?
It would make sense if Luhan had been adopted after Xian Ning got lost, but Luhan was already here before she was born.
Xue Yingxian knew Xian Ning had many questions, but all she had found out was that Luhan was adopted. She didn’t know anything else.
“You should ask your parents about this. Nobody knows the full story better than them.”
Xian Ning sprang up like a fish and put on her pajamas before heading out.
Her parents were in the living room, talking about something. When they saw her, they immediately stopped. Xian Ning asked, “Were you talking about my sister?”
Mrs. Lu sighed and replied, “Yes. We don’t know when your sister will come back from being abroad again. Children grow up and eventually leave.”
Seeing how sad she was, Xian Ning felt a little bad about asking more questions.
Whether she was an adopted or biological daughter, her mother had always treated both her and Luhan the same. She even trusted and doted on Luhan more because she was older and more sensible. And now, for this one trivial matter, Luhan had abandoned her parents and her home. Anyone would have a heart attack.
Her parents were so sad, and the house felt so quiet. This one hundred-square-meter apartment never used to feel big, but now it seemed empty.
“Mom, Dad, I have something to ask you.” Xian Ning had made up her mind.
Mr. Lu said, “You want to know about your sister’s background, don’t you?”
Xian Ning was first surprised, then nodded.
The couple exchanged glances, and then Mrs. Lu spoke. “This is something we never wanted to talk about in our lives, but…”
She paused before continuing, “Luhan is the child of your father’s friend. Her parents died in a car accident the year you were born. The child should have been raised by her relatives, but they all refused, claiming her birth date was unlucky. In the end, your father and I brought her home.”
“After the car accident, she suffered from severe memory loss and thought your father and I were her biological parents. She didn’t remember her childhood until she graduated from college. After she told us, we told her everything. She said she would always be our daughter, and I thought our family would be happy forever, but who knew…”
Tears welled up in Mrs. Lu’s eyes, and Mr. Lu put his arm around her shoulder, comforting her softly.
Xian Ning’s emotions were a mess. Even if they weren’t related by blood, they were still sisters who had grown up together. Now that something like this had happened, her parents must have been at a loss.
Thinking about it, what did they do wrong? They simply worked hard to raise their two daughters, hoping they would be happy and healthy.
“Mom, Dad, maybe my sister just got confused. When she calms down, I’ll have a good talk with her.”
Mrs. Lu grabbed her hand. “Are you okay?”
Xian Ning shook her head, smiling. “Of course. After all, twenty years of family love can’t be severed, can it?”
Mrs. Lu looked at her with relief, stroking her head. “My child, don’t sacrifice your own feelings just to make us happy. I’ll try to communicate with your sister. For now, you should stay away from her so you don’t feel uncomfortable.”
Xian Ning smiled and hugged her mother. “Thank you, Mom. I love you both so much.”
Mrs. Lu caressed her hair, her face filled with love. Both were her daughters, and she wouldn’t favor one over the other or let either of them suffer.
Xue Yingxian, standing behind the door, heard their conversation and a faint smile appeared on her face.
I didn’t mean to eavesdrop. The walls are just not very soundproof.
In the afternoon, Xue Yingxian was called away by her assistant. As she was leaving, she kept looking back, like a lost puppy afraid of being abandoned.
Xian Ning pushed her into the elevator. “See you Monday,” she said with a wave.
Xue Yingxian pouted. “Sister doesn’t feel sorry for me at all.” As the elevator door was about to close, she shouted, “I’ll come find you tomorrow!”
Xian Ning smiled, but as she turned, the world started to spin. A hot liquid flowed from her nose. She wiped it, and… Hey? It’s red?
Her vision blurred, and as she lost consciousness, she heard a static sound in her ear.
