Chapter 25: Misunderstanding

Chi Yue opened the door and heard Tang Xiaowan cursing in the bedroom.

Tang Xiaowan saw Chi Yue and was about to fight, but when she saw the vegetables in Chi Yue’s hand, she instantly quieted down. Wait, they’re all raw. She was starving, and just stared at her.

Chi Yue glanced at her. Except for her face, the rest of her body was either bruised from being hit, kissed, or pinched. But it was quite impressive that she was awake and able to get out of bed. “Hungry? Come over and start cooking yourself.”

Tang Xiaowan almost cursed again, but under Chi Yue’s threat, she quietly shut up and went to the kitchen to help.

The two made four dishes and one soup. Tang Xiaowan was truly hungry and ate with gusto. After eating her fill, she followed Chi Yue to wash and put away the dishes.

“You live here alone? Don’t you have a villa with Mu Yan?” Tang Xiaowan looked out the window. The view from this window was nice.

“Anywhere is fine.” She bought this place when she first arrived because it was close to the school, and only bought the villa later. But the villa was always too big. The two of them still preferred to squeeze into this place—it was small and warm.

“Can I leave now?” She needed to heal her injuries before getting revenge.

They wouldn’t have the chance later. Her relationship with her roommates was good. Her roommates were the closest people to her in college. She replied that she was free anytime.
