- Which Fierce Alpha Disguises as a Beta to Abduct a Wife?
- Chapter 44 - Thin Lips Pressed Down with a Near-Frantic Impulse
“What’s wrong with being in a car? It’s not like we’re on the road,” Zhou Yunqiu insisted, breaking free of Jiang Huaiyan’s grasp and pulling open his shirt.
The body beneath the fabric was lean, muscular, and incredibly sexy.
Zhou Yunqiu’s face flushed with heat at the sight. He grabbed Jiang Huaiyan and tugged him around. “Turn around, let me see your back.”
Jiang Huaiyan didn’t move.
“Turn around!” Zhou Yunqiu raised his voice.
Unsure of what the boy was plotting, Jiang Huaiyan could only comply. His back was defined by smooth, powerful lines, without a single mark or blemish.
Zhou Yunqiu let out a small sigh of relief, then ordered him to take off his trousers.
Jiang Huaiyan: “…What exactly are you trying to do?”
“Don’t misunderstand. I just want to check if you’re injured. I already know you were locked up for a few days because of me, and I know my phone call is what got you fired. Did my brother have people cause trouble for you in there?”
Jiang Huaiyan’s heart throbbed with emotion. “No, I was very safe during those days.”
“I have to check for myself.” Zhou Yunqiu was worried Jiang Huaiyan was lying.
“It’s not necessary. I really wasn’t hurt.”
“Didn’t you just say you were going to keep being my bodyguard? What’s wrong with me asking my bodyguard to take off his trousers?”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…” Is that even something a normal person would say?
“Do you want me to do it for you?”
“Later. Someone is coming to clean the villa soon.” Just as Jiang Huaiyan finished speaking, sounds came from outside.
He went to coordinate with the cleaning crew, gave them his specific requirements, and let them in.
Zhou Yunqiu watched him with cool eyes. “I’m going to stay in a hotel later.”
“You’d be all alone at a hotel. I wouldn’t be able to rest easy.”
“Oh? And how were you ‘easy’ enough to leave me sitting outside earlier?” Zhou Yunqiu sneered.
Jiang Huaiyan looked at him with a face full of remorse. “It was my fault. You already said you forgave me.”
Zhou Yunqiu: “…” Why did he forgive him so quickly?
However, that didn’t stop him from settling accounts after the fact. “But my heart still hurts. I’ve never felt so miserable before. I almost wished I’d never met you.”
Zhou Yunqiu had intended to say this just to make Jiang Huaiyan feel bad for him, but as the words left his mouth, a dense, prickling pain returned to his chest. Suddenly, he had so much he wanted to say. He didn’t know what was happening to him; he just wanted Jiang Huaiyan to know exactly what was on his mind.
“Jiang Huaiyan, I’m really miserable. It hurts right here. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but this kind of pain only happens when I’m facing you.”
“My brother spent the last few days telling me that with my looks and status, I could choose from many excellent Alphas, and that there was no need to waste my time with a Beta like you. But I didn’t want to listen. Other Alphas don’t make me happy. I’m only happy when I’m with you.”
“So, when you drove me away earlier, I was truly heartbroken. But I wasn’t willing to accept it—I wasn’t willing to just leave like that.”
“I counted from 100 to 1 so many times. Every time, I told myself that if you didn’t come out by the time I hit 1, I’d leave and never come back. But I couldn’t do it. I really couldn’t bear to leave.”
“Jiang Huaiyan.” Zhou Yunqiu looked at the man standing before him with reddened eyes, and a thought suddenly surged into his heart. He didn’t suppress it; he said it out loud: “I think… I’ve actually fallen in love with you.”
Jiang Huaiyan’s eyes widened instantly. His heart rate accelerated so sharply it felt like it would burst through his throat, and his blood began to boil in that very second. He was too agitated to know how to respond verbally, so he instinctively did what he wanted to do most.
He cupped Zhou Yunqiu’s face, and his thin lips pressed down hard, carrying a near-frantic impulse.
Zhou Yunqiu’s eyes flickered with surprise before dissolving into endless joy. He wrapped his arms around the man’s neck and responded to the fierce kiss. This was the first time they had kissed so deeply; their tongues and teeth clashed intensely, and a fiery passion burned in the air.
Zhou Yunqiu forgot where he was, instinctively releasing his Omega pheromones. Sensing the scent, the Alpha’s internal alarm bells went off.
He hurriedly pulled away from Zhou Yunqiu, gasping for air. “I just remembered there’s something the cleaners shouldn’t see. I need to go tell them.” With that, he fled the scene.
Zhou Yunqiu watched his retreating back, his heart still thumping wildly. He understood that Jiang Huaiyan was running away. But he wasn’t angry. Jiang Huaiyan had taken the initiative to kiss him how much longer could he truly hold back?
After the cleaners left, Zhou Yunqiu happily moved into Jiang Huaiyan’s villa. Jiang Huaiyan tried to arrange for him to sleep in the guest bedroom.
He refused, insisting on sleeping in the master bedroom with Jiang Huaiyan. Jiang Huaiyan couldn’t stop him and could only secretly hope the boy wouldn’t discover his Alpha pheromones.
While helping Zhou Yunqiu unpack, he suddenly discovered two boxes of condoms tucked inside.
Jiang Huaiyan: “…”
“You probably didn’t prepare any, right?” Zhou Yunqiu took a bite of an apple and naturally picked them up, showing Jiang Huaiyan the size. “Is this size okay? I guessed it based on… how it felt.”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…Just eat your apple.” He took the boxes and put them in the bedside drawer.
Zhou Yunqiu stared at him with a grin. “Don’t be shy. It’s perfectly normal to discuss this.”
“I’m not shy!”
“Then why are your ears so red?”
Jiang Huaiyan took the apple from his hand and stuffed it back into his mouth. “Even food can’t keep your mouth shut.”
Zhou Yunqiu laughed like a cat that had successfully stolen a treat. He quickly finished the apple, jumped onto Jiang Huaiyan’s back, and clung to him tightly, breathing into his ear: “Shall we try them tonight?”
Jiang Huaiyan’s ears turned even redder. “Not tonight.”
“Why? The time is right, the place is right, and the people are here.”
“The people are not right.”
Zhou Yunqiu: “??? Is it your time of the month?”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…The things you say are getting more and more ridiculous. Get down, I’m going to make dinner.”
“No. You carry me down, and I’ll keep you company.” Zhou Yunqiu transformed into a clingy kitten, refusing to get off Jiang Huaiyan, kissing and rubbing against him.
Jiang Huaiyan had no choice but to carry him downstairs. He had already taken the medicine Duan Mingxu gave him; his Alpha pheromones shouldn’t leak out.
In the kitchen.
As Jiang Huaiyan washed vegetables, Zhou Yunqiu hugged him from behind, moving restlessly and being anything but well-behaved.
“Zhou Yunqiu, can you please be a bit more dignified?” Jiang Huaiyan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Zhou Yunqiu shook his head. “I can’t be dignified at all. I want to eat meat.”
“I’ll cook some for you in a moment.”
“The ‘meat’ I want to eat is you.”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…”
“Will you let me eat, or not?”
“No. Go out, you’re distracting me from cooking.” Jiang Huaiyan couldn’t handle this pestering version of Zhou Yunqiu and tried to drive him out.
Zhou Yunqiu didn’t leave; he continued to rub against him, his movements growing bolder and bolder. He didn’t stop until Jiang Huaiyan’s phone began to ring frantically.
“See who’s calling.” Jiang Huaiyan’s hands were occupied.
Zhou Yunqiu reached into his pocket for the phone. Jiang Huaiyan suddenly shuddered.
Zhou Yunqiu gave him a wicked grin. “Your mouth isn’t as ‘hard’ as your body.”
Jiang Huaiyan: “…”
He hurriedly changed the subject: “Who is it?”
“It’s my brother. Should I answer?” Zhou Yunqiu asked.
